Please give me some reports how you PoS is responding since today's fork. Whether it's good or bad, I would like to know
i think you did it :-) POS is working great, it's raining MMXIV, shortsellers should ask themself, wich coin should you hold, if not this one? One of the hardest working teams around here.

to avoid uncertainty, its good to know that things go faster then the interface shows up with changes. Example when i unlock the wallet, the wallet information shows, up to a minute, still to be locked, but the unlock works perfectly and the interface follows after a wile. Just good to know ...
edit: this refers to the new wallet, which does not seem to make any problems up to now for me

A 6th stake of identical size came through, and this negative stake has actually removed coins from my account!
Status: 1/unconfirmed, broadcast through 3 nodes Date: 8/20/2014 02:27 Debit: 0.00 MMXIV Net amount: -0.126327 MMXIV Transaction ID: 212bbf60e7f3e2e6e8564eb93249edecf937086a4749b3d3877ba5803a5991d9
this sounds crazy, has anyone an overview an can find out if the overall amound of coins is reduced by this amound? The coins could not have been going anywhere right?

Ethan – stand by your Coin!
We want to, but then we need more information from the dev or from you. Stealth adresses & anon chat was announced several times to be released, nothing happened. Even if there was another bug, tell us about it but don't stay in your silence. There are so many good coins and even more scam coins. Just act like in the beginning where we had regular statements. My 2 pennies ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I understand your request and will keep you updated. As far as i understand his work, the developer was successfull getting, what seemed to me the major problem, the wallet syncronisation to work yesterday evening

I emailed Genesis Coin (the manufacturer of these ATMs) for more information and they said that they are not behind this project and that the two machines sold to this company have not been deployed.
Szenekonzept, you say above you have 3 ATMs, and that you are looking to install your 2nd one, implying you already have one installed...how do you respond to this?
this information is right, thanks for investigation. we have two Genesis1 machines! all necessary contracts are closed on location and so on. End of this month we want to release it, both devices Yes i just took accidently one of our partners ATM's as ours, my fault, just to many projects, you know. Thanks fubaristyx for clarifiing (he's the guy for keeping order in our numbers) ;-)

source link is dead, please update it i am interested in coins lauched like this
The coin is finished. Why are you interested in it? may be he has lot of asics and wants to mine a lot of coins. lol but it's an experimental coin and it needs a lot more work before it could ever be relaunched and used for anything. Why waste money mining something that only 2 or 3 people will ever have? Ah, i did not read the second page of the thread, yeah if you gonna rethink this coin, its fine and mining it would be pointless. I (no i don't have tons of asics just three good old r9 cards) just asked because i like watching coins evolving. So i feel quite attracted to coins wich are kind of conceptless in the beginning, thats not wise, but entertaining ...

So I'm seeing something I am curious about. Say I started with 10 coins. I then earn a stake of 0.2 coins. And perhaps I receive a pool payout of 0.3 coins later that day. But now the age of the 10 coins is different than the 0.2 coins and the 0.3 coins.
So at some point, the 10 coins go to stake again but the 0.2 and 0.3 remain in my balance.
But then I think the 10 coins will generate another stake, let's say 0.2 again, and then the initial 0.2 and 0.3 will mature and I'll have 0.5 coins staking (perhaps at different times) and a lot of 10 and 0.2 coins in the balance. So I think you see where I'm going, is that there will be an increasing amount of "odd small lots" of coins staking and rotating through the process.
Is there any process by which the coins can all consolidate for the purpose of staking? Or will there be an increasing number of subsequently smaller lots of coins moving through the staking process and earning ever proportionately smaller stakes?
Unfortunately that is pretty much how staking works. You can, periodically, transfer your entire balance to another wallet, or to Bittrex and back, to "re-consolidate" your coins. Thanks for the explanation. Is there any reason to? Yesterday I got 7 stakes, all of the same size. Would I have received fewer stakes of a larger size if the balance was "consolidated" or is there any advantage to one approach vs another? When you move your coins, you are resetting your timers, so I would do it as seldom as possible OK, but it was also explained that you had to keep the qt client open to stake. So what is the real effect of closing and re-opening the qt client? the common way to function is(@MMXIV correct me if i am wrong) is that you don't loose coinage but staking time, so when you oben it up again you beginn where you stopped staking, but you did not make any progress in between. For oler Iplementations, there hasn't been any "staking-time", what turned out badly, because people just had to open their wallet once a month and harnest their stakes. Newer implementations require you to "stake" and contribute a certain amound of time to securing the network

What are the plans for ATM expansion (where do you plan to add more ATMs)?
yes we want to expant our ATM presence. We are evaluating different way's for that and will make a decision when we have operated those 3 we have one or two month. Currendly we are installing the second one. Locations an important factor. We will focus the european market in the first place and having an eye on the emerging economies as a second place

Multipool is working great, been getting payments every day the past week.
Need to get some activity on Bittrex though, not much happening there other than a handful of buys from the multipool each day, and bots fighting over the spread
But why would there ever be activity on Bittrex? Why would anyone want to buy MMXIV when you can't spend it on anything and there is no use for it? Now that raffle is over, no real reason to have it except to wait for another promotion. :-) I like the way Phosphorous and Mortimer452 express their demands for progress, always thinking forward and helpful if there is someone in need. I can not claim anything in the name of the MMXIV project. But maybe you i have enought trust to give you some hope, because the team is currendly quite active on improving acceptance of MMXIV. Lets wait until they feel confident enough to make their claims.

All you had to do was download the new client ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Glad it's working, though That's our point... I got the upgrade from v1.0.0b V2 to v1.0.1 V2 but THAT would crash. Making a copy of the wallet, starting with a completely FRESH wallet and the put the old v1.0.0b V2 backup wallet BACK to replace the current, new, fresh wallet will work... Just upgrading (might) fail(s)... ;p Anyways: NEW PROBLEM!! PoS is not working correctly... Symptoms noticed: suddenly my Saldo=0 Stake=0 Unconfirmed=0 Amount of Transactoins=2 (and I could still see them in the Transactions list too!) Gave me a scare, so I shut down the wallet. I restarted and Stake was back at 1.802737 BUT... Not staking because you don't have mature coins... I had 1 successful stake before all was 0... 7b94ea66990694f7d626105b4b9d36cbf0826c5faa3f8ae51c6cb72b09d4b81c After that (and shutting down the wallet), nothing got minted... I don't know how long to maturity, but if it resets every time minting has been done... Will take a long time to get profit from 50% stake ;p And while I am at it... Should I keep the wallet always open OR can I open it once every so often for same minting returns...? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Devvie twitter.com/devnullius dont worry, its just the qt-display, all things are happening allright. You can ensure that (just for your peace in mind) by opening the Debug Konsole and typing "getinfo". There you can see, wihch coins are staking. I realised that this displayproblem gets better after a few starts. anyway it looks more frightening than it is Also the first two or three stakes beeing zero, seem to be normal, i had them also at the first start, but then never again. You may even experience the wallet claiming not to stake, because its locked, though you already unlocked it. This is the same display problem, in fact all processes are running and working smooth wile the dsisplay gives sometimes strange views hope that helps Matthias
