-snip-
2. Every round has a random return % between 110% to 200%.
-snip-
4. Every next player's invest will payout its previous investor and hence only the last person looses.

I dont understand #4 here I think. Lets say its a 200% round (which should double). If we further assume Fixed deposit amounts:

#1 invests 1 - bankroll is 1
#2 invests 1 - bankroll is 2, #1 gets paid 2
#3 invests 1 - bankroll is 1, #2 gets paid 2, where does the missing 1 BTC come from?

No. The system is not like that. As I have mentioned in point 4, the next person should always pay the previous person's payout. So, your example with 200% return will look like as follows...

#1 invests 1 - bankroll is 1
#2 invests 2 - bankroll is 2, #1 gets paid 2
#3 invests 4 - bankroll is 4, #2 gets paid 4

4. "Every next player's invest will payout its previous investor and hence only the last person looses."
Untrue.
This statement is only true if you substitute the word 'level' for the words 'player', 'investor' and 'person'.
As each level must, by definition, be 2x as big in value in order to pay the level above, this is an application of MLM to this "game" where the # are levels, not individual people.
As the value of each level doubles, then the lower levels obviously consist of more and more individuals who are likely to lose everything if their level is the last.

To say "only the last person loses" is untrue and deliberately misleading, the sort of lies the MLM industry tells all the time..

From crappy website
"In addition, you won't find any project that could multiply your Bitcoins hunderfold in a day, so if you won't try you'll miss your chance to get rich."
Where have I see that "hunderfold" typo before?

Ah yes

LMAO, the scammer's just edited it.

Who to talk to about moving our thread back to Service Announcements? If I remember correctly, this thread was moved after our website being offline for a few hours, after which we upgraded our servers and have not experienced such issues since.

Wait a little while, Theymos is talking about making a Ponzi sub forum, you can put it straight in there.
2968  Other / Off-topic / Re: DDOS on Ponzi scheme sites on: February 02, 2015, 05:16:29 PM
I see that some ponzi "games" are having trouble with small amounts being sent with no fee, which are bringing the games to a halt.
Maybe they are sabotaging each other.

What a shame.  Cry

2969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: oilpalas.com on: February 02, 2015, 07:55:32 AM
OilPalas is a HYIP/ponzi site. You shouldn't invest into them, because in basically every case, they'd turn into a scam soon enough. It'd be best to do some research before jumping in.

ponzi are "games". 99% from those who are playing in them know what they are doing. Smiley

Rubbish.
Ponzi's are theft by deception.
In MLM Ponzis such as OilPalas , 90% of 'investors' lose money. The only people to gain are the parasitic criminals who serially organize these scams and the chosen few who get in very early and then shill for them.

Did you know that the anagrams for Who Cares is How Scare and Chose War?
Why would I care that the anagrams for Who Cares are How Scare and Chose War?
You are the new one in this thread?
Isn't everyone accepted here?
Why would we exclude anyone, as long as he/she asks questionable questions?

Is there any question that is not questionable?
Didn't we answer tons of those questions?

How many questions are in a ton?
2971  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: oilpalas.com on: January 31, 2015, 07:34:00 PM
Oilpalas is an obvious MLM/Ponzi scam, which even the smallest bit of research would have told you.
If you are that naive with paper money then stay away from Bitcoin, because you will get eaten alive.

I suggest you go to the "friend" whose referral link you signed up with and punch them in the mouth, because they almost certainly knew it for what it was.

According to this thread, believe or not up to you, the KoS account has been recently sold

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=918838.msg10160277#msg10160277

Is a Ponzi started by a newbie account any less likely to rip you off?

 Huh

2973  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Input Requested from Ponzi Users on: January 31, 2015, 03:32:54 PM
The fluky guy thought thru this and came to a similar conclusion to you.
He started off thinking ponzi, then removed the first in win last lose element because, among other reasons, of the impossibility of proving that the operator wasn't top of the list.
He then partnered up with a legendary member and offered escrow.
It will be interesting to see whether you and he can make this lottery approach work: it seems to me that bettors like "ponzi games" because of the buzz and the illusion that there is some skill? in it, which is missing from this version.
Good luck.

2974  Other / New forum software / Re: Shrinking quoted pictures on: January 31, 2015, 10:01:25 AM
How about having the forum system shrink pictures to thumbnail size when they appear within quotes?  That way, each image appears in full size once in the original post, then in miniature in each post that quotes the original. That would eliminate walls of giant repeated images.

Good idea, with a "click to enlarge" feature if you want to revert them.
Some threads are crazy, whole pages with maybe two lines of new text (I'm looking at you, BFL/Glen G) Smiley
2975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I hold a short position for months or years ? on: January 31, 2015, 09:49:49 AM
Thanks for the informations. IG is bigger and stronger but it could disapear overnight too.

Sure, but your money is at risk anytime it's not under your mattress (and then, your bedroom could catch fire Smiley ).
I don't want to sound like I'm trying to sell anything, but read this as part of your due dilligence before making any decisions.

what ? you eat meatballs ?
Apart from meatballs, can you understand Latvian as well?
Weren't we talking about Swedes, Finns and Norwegians?
What do you have against Latvians?
What doesn't he have against Latvians?
Didn't he just ignore Lithuanians, which are right next to Latvians?

Exactly, how does one go about ignoring surreal Lithuanians?
If Lithuanians sing in Finnish, does that count as Latvian or as Estonian?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eVauFwBS4g
How do we differ them from each other group ?
Did you know that you have just stolen my question?
Well, how many a capella groups are there out there who are not Latvians and do not sing in Estonian?
arent there bilingual people in those area as well Huh
Are bilingual people a more advanced stage of forked-tongue people?
Can forked-tongue people perform cunnilingus on two women simultaneously?

Is this what you mean by being forked-tongued by two people performing cunnilingus?
Is that the BFL Christmas party?

It's impossible for us to cheat you out of your money without EVERYONE seeing.

So, everyone can see you stealing, but no one can DO anything about it.
Tell me why I should send any money to a newbie account?
Would you?
