From the amount of reading I've been doing across the web , I too think the SP20's will be my choice for the near-term future, until the next gen stuff comes out. Now only if I can get my hands on a few more. I got hosed on a deal on ebay for some S5's a few days ago so I was dry when I saw some good deals on SP20's pass me by.

Looks like my miners are back on, but still can't access the website itself.
So when something like this happens, does it erase all previous history of what your hash rates, time and percentages are/were?

I think I'll try to divide my hashes evenly 'Balance' it between 2 pools instead of hopping.
Thanks guys!

So I'm racking my brain trying to see which is a better choice? The SP20 has more legs to stretch at just under 1700GH/s, vs the A5s 1200 overclocked.
At about 600watts each, looks like they get just under 1200GH each.
The SP20 can be made a lot quieter from what I read though and it mountrs easier with its enclosed box.
Anyone else have any input?

Just asking, as I'm new to the pool mining thaaang. I'll just stick on kano then. Just hard to see days where the earnings are 1/3 they should be. I have to get used to not being able to average or estimate the income as some days will just be better than others and at the end it should equal out. Maybe I can average per a weekly or monthly basis.

Somebody mentioned it to me before, but I'm not sure what the hive mind thinks.
If you have all your Hashes going to a Pool that is stuck in a rutt for a long block, past I think 8 hours or so, do you jump to another one to try to make up for that day's loss, then back once the block is done?
Is this something people do?

Ugh. Stuck at another looong block..
no no not so fast 346616 stays here Yeah after 22hours.. Ugh.

I agree. If someone has free or cheap power, these are very good ways to get into btc mining cheaply. Spend a bit over $1k and have 3.6+ Th.

Actually they are going on average for $110 shipped on eBay. If you deal well you can get them for well below that.

346279 stays here
How do you know you hit the block?

Is DeM still being mined. Looks profitable but not finding much info about it.

I believe load balancing means, if you configure multiple pools it'll spend approximately equal amounts of time hashing on each pool.
Wouldn't 'Balanced' be that? Correct! In balanced mode the miner divides the hash power between all the pools configured on the miners configuration page. Load Balance mode, requires that you set quotas in each pool. ( does not work out of the box on the antminer s3! ) Ahh... Thank You.. I wish there was a way to automatically have it jump to another pool if one is stuck in a long rutt .. (Like slush was over 24hours again. Ugh. Thanks

What's the Ramp up time to get proper expected returns? I've been on with a test rig since yesterday and I don't think I'm even near what it should be.
Thank you
LOL. Sorry. I found the info a few pages ago. Thank you. I'll stick around for a while to get it to ramp up to 100% of the Hashes I send.

Yeah. What is still available?
|
|
|
What exactly is that?
I understand the other 2, but not this one.
Thanks

I just joined your pool with 2 Ant S3+'s to try it out. SHoudl I leave the difficulty at '0' for automatic adjustment or change it to 256 for the S3's?
Thanks!
