2961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 19, 2019, 05:34:50 PM
Let me tell you one thing first. The rich people gambles because they have a shit loads of money and they enjoy gambling. If they lose, they don't care much. Again, the poor people gamble because they need money. If they lose, they end up suffering more. So for this reason, poor people tend to avoid gambling because they know they can afford to lose what they have. Thus we can say that most gamblers are actually rich.
Yuppp so basically the poor and the rich both is love to gamble ... the difference is on how the rich one usually have a full awareness that at certain point they have to stop whether it's because a win or because of lost, where the poor tend to be greedy wanted to get rich overnight because yeah that's the nature of poor gambler.

They don't looking for entertainment mostly , they look for fortune. That reason also makes the poor become more poor and the rich become richer.

We can't judge which one is the most but I'm sure the case of poor gambler become successful ( have a long lasting wealth) is rarely happened.
2962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to stop taking high risks? on: September 19, 2019, 10:15:11 AM
why do you trade with leverage anyways? i personally dislike it a lot.
if you also are starting to feel the same way and can't stop the high risks you are talking then maybe it is time to move to another exchange and/or trade without leverage. that is what i have been doing. it just makes more sense to me to trade the good old fashion way.
and remember that putting a lot of mental pressure on yourself because of risks,... is not really worth the money that you may earn out of it.
You took the words right out of my mouth .. the high risk will always in there along with those leverage stuff feature and the only way to stop that kind behavior is indeed by leaving that exchange with leverage.

If you feel you can't afford anymore which I believe that OP does can't afford but force himself due the desire to get back what he has lost, this is pretty obvious a bad way to die young  Grin .

Come on think with a cool head , you are not fit with the leverage trading system op. Wake up.

Hi

3 days ago I was denied of logging to my account
I wrote few emails since then and i get only this response

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for taking the time to write us.

We would like to inform you that access to your account has been
restricted for security reasons. Your account is under review at the
moment, I will get back to you as soon as I have any updates.

Kind regards,

The JETWIN Team"

can you please explain what is going on?

thank you
This is exactly what I have experienced in the past ... they have suspicion on my account that abusing the bonuses promo but then few days later they unblock my account due they didn't find anything wrong in the end.

It seems because you are using different ip each time you logged in , at least that's what happened to me. They are so far legit ... providing the most sports market offers around the world that you won't find at any crypto sportsbook, I can vouch about this.

But one thing annoyed me that's the withdrawal process taking very long time ... I don't like such things.
2964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: September 18, 2019, 11:02:56 PM
People who live on US will definitely choose US dollar because it's their main currency so we are that has local currency. Upon reading that news, the thing that came to my mind is they can print whenever they want and how many they want.

Unlike bitcoin, it beats the usual cycle of the gov't that prints money because there's a supply limit of 21 million. But with the comparison of it, we need to see bitcoin be accepted first by most countries and most people.
AFAIK it's only US dollar can print the paper money as they wish (I know this is sounds ridiculous but that'sthe fact of a super power country) ... any other fiat currency like Japanese yen (JPY) Chinese yuan (CNY) they can't do that (they won't do that), why?
They are need a world bank permission, they will have a bigger chance to have a hyperinflation just like in Zimbabwe if they decide to print the money unlimitedly, but not with the United states they seems have something special I don't know what it is ... maybe we just get fooled all this time idk.

Bitcoin is indeed a form of financial freedom we needed right now, nobody get fooled here as nobody control it ...
We need to see bitcoin become mainstream as soon as possible for the better fairer world.
2965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 18, 2019, 04:10:56 PM
I don't usually play safe just like last night putting my money on over/under goals with low odds .. guess the result is that i lost them all .

The matches which promised lost of goals on paper last night, ended up disappointing, producing little or none.
That's the unpredictability of football.
Salzburg were the surprise package with 5 first half goals.

I was expecting lots of goals from the PSG - Madrid fixture, but I'm not so sure on that now, may just back the French side to grab all three points.
Yeah it's just a disaster to see every matches against me yesterday and I think I won't make any bet tonight ... taking break for a couple days till this weekend to get some fresh air as I have experienced whenever I keep pushing myself to recover a loss immediately... I ended up with more and more losses.

Has anyone managed to calculate how much money could have been made if they bet on the right winners of last night? I mean I am pretty sure you would have a great odds at your hands and if you bet a decent amount you could have tested the max mounts of any sportsbook out there.

If I'm not mistaken you'll get @3.8 for slavia Prague +0.5 handicap

Then you'll get @4.75 for Valencia to win away against Chelsea

Dortmund vs Barcelona under 0.5 goals gives you @15

If you make those three games as a parlay you'll get @270.5

Put 4 mbtc and you'll get 1 bitcoin in return
But come on ... noone crazy enough to place bet for Barcelona match under 0.5 goal ...
2966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will Hit $100,000 in or Before 2022 on: September 18, 2019, 03:09:58 PM
I still can't comprehend how Bitcoin will hit $100,000 on 2022.  First we are just around $10k today, the market is in adoption stage yes but there are lots of hindrane on its way.  We cannot use the data on the previous history because the higher the price of Bitcoin is, the bigger the needed resources for it to overcome its ATH or even double its market.  Remember $100  to $1000 is far different than $10,000 to $100,000.  I think it will take longer than 3 years for bitcoin to reach $100k.
There's mcafee predicted bitcoin price will hit 1 million dollar in the next 3 years ... or $500k at least (i know that he is crazy but well things could always possibly happened)
Then There's tim draper a well known billionaire / investor that recently speaking about how bitcoin price could hit another ATH at $250k.

All the predictions is based on how they are confident bitcoin will very soon used widely and become mainstream. It's just makes sense if the mass adoption occurred in 2022 ... the 85% of bitcoin total supply has been mined and those who hold bitcoin till that time won't sell at cheap price while there's a lot of demand coming in.

So never say never ... things in cryptocurrency mostly went unexpected, $10k to $100k ? Let's just make it happen!
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't follow news XRP will hit its all time Jan 2014 low on: September 18, 2019, 08:24:32 AM
Where did you conclude that XRP would be at lowest price again? You did not provide clear facts about bad news on xrp. At least you provide some logical facts that price of xrp will actually fall. I honestly don't believe that, xrp is still good enough for me, coin has been supported by several banks and I don't doubt it.

XRP is not a coin that can be stored for the long term is very risky and if decide to buy when the prices hit the lowest price still not recommended things to do because the price can be lower than 0.001 USD.

I think XRP is still suitable for long-term trading or investment, xrp is not much different from other altcoins where when bitcoin pump comes, it will also be pumped by buyer. Everything still depends on movement of bitcoin, so I think it's better to monitor development of bitcoin from time to time.
I don't know where this thought come from it seems a baseless speculation for me.
However It's been a problem for ripple since day one even they claimed as decentralized... a lot of analysts says that they are hideously centralized.

For me personally ripple is just like any other cryptocurrency to trade in daily basis ... not for long term due those reports about how they are hideously centralized, you know why that bitcoin and ethereum is the only (high risk) long term investment that I believe.
End of the words.
2968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sad News: Kidnappers now requesting bitcoin as ransom in Nigeria on: September 18, 2019, 07:37:02 AM
This isn't the only incident where bitcoin is used for the bad, it has come across several such incidents. Here it is kidnap, I've come across a website where we can just pay bitcoin in advance and submit the address of the person who needs to be killed or beaten badly. Once things gets completed the pending amount needs to be transacted.

Bitcoin stays strong, which is all because of the majority using it for the good compared to the very few who always have a mind to use things in the negative way.
This is nothing to do with bitcoin afterall ... these abusive behavior have been exist since long long time ago , just because they mention bitcoin / misuse it doesn't mean bitcoin is evil entirely.

We might could admit at some point that there's a vulnerable feature in cryptocurrency such as the transaction process is anonymous for several cryptocurrencies they are even offering a completely anonymous untraceable transaction but at this point bitcoin itself well known as a pseudonymous... you can still trace the transaction through the blockchain.

We have heard a lot of similar cases like this and they are ended up arrested, you know what? IT'S TRACEABLE.
Bitcoin ecosystem is getting more and more mature as time goes by , this kind issues would dissapeared slowly.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 18, 2019, 06:51:20 AM
Well, no victories, what an opener, only draws and BTTS would have been happy I guess?

I have Liver/Barca parlay at 5/1 and Lille upset at 7/1. About to place another maybe HMM! What do you guys think? Inter too overrated, as is Lyon, any hope for the other away underdogs maybe?

Lots of drama I just love these nights. Enjoy the game, gents and ladies!
I don't usually play safe just like last night putting my money on over/under goals with low odds .. guess the result is that i lost them all .

Inter draw , barcelona draw almost get their first lost if there's no ter stegen's strong hand ... even with messi subbed in things didn't change much.
And my team Chelsea lost to valencia with barkley penalty drama .... damn it was my nightmare , should i take a break a while for tonight matches?

Interesting psg vs real madrid if i have to take a huge risk ... i would pick real madrid moneyline. Idk i'm suffering huge lost rn .  Cry
2970  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 17, 2019, 01:38:54 PM
Why is Bitcoin <BTC> not on the list? The majority of the Bitcoin enthusiasts on this forum would have voted for Bitcoin to be the number #1 Crypto currency and I think you left it out on purpose to influence the outcome of this poll.  Roll Eyes

GovCoins will be backed by the country of origin and it depends on what countries would be "digitizing" their fiat currency first. If the USA decides to launch it's first fiat backed Crypto currency, then they would dominate the Crypto currency scene for a while, but they will get strong competition from China and the UK. <We will just see a mirror image of what is happening with Fiat currencies now.>  Roll Eyes

Once people see the dangers of GovCoins, they will turn to Bitcoin and you will see Bitcoin <BTC> dominance again.  Grin
Pretty sure it's left out on purpose , but here the thing about usdt a cryptocurrency that claimed each token is backed by one us dollar which until now it's been debatable,  this token is really dangerous.

How? First of all usdt is centralized... tether Ltd as a company is the one who has a power on issuing the tokens and that's make it vulnerable,  I won't trust on this kind system.

Even though everyone knew about this and some people even believe that usdt / tether Ltd has something to hide & has another agenda ... a lot of people continue using usdt as a safe haven everytime bitcoin dropped so hard. A bit ironic to see this phenomenon.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2019, 06:54:10 AM
If you have forgotten Juventus have Ronaldo playing for them who knows Atletico Madrid well, and he’ll try and win it on his own if required.
Ronaldo has a history in scoring goals against Athletico and I do hope it continues, though there is every livelihood that it may not come into play in this game, this sort of match looks so much like a draw to me, as the both teams would be rather too careful so as not to kick off their UCL season on a bad note.

I think this is the biggest match of the first matchday and it's the one everyone is eager to watch, I'll be predicting this one in favor of Athletico, I think they have a slight edge over juve this season, still early though, but I believe they'll win: 2:1.
I couldn't agree with you more ... both teams atletico madrid and juventus tend to play defensive,  Atletico Madrid well known the most less conceded among top European clubs and Juventus itself in the last game having a frustrated match against fiorentina that ended 0-0 with cristiano have 0 shot attempt in the game.

Fair to say that this game would a little bit boring with zero goal scored , a good odds on draw or if you want a little more risk try for under 0.5 goal  Grin.

For the tonight game there's Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona which I personally would wait Barcelona to conceded... so I could get higher odds for Barcelona to make a comeback or at least make it draw  Grin .

Another match chelsea vs Valencia.. for now both is on same level as the underdogs , I would love to go for over 2.5 goals since chelsea defensive recently are so awful and hopefully my team Chelsea could win this one.
2972  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: September 17, 2019, 04:27:54 AM
Did all if you received the free bets? Because I didn't get any. That would have been a nice consulation to me after losing 0.038 BTC on FIBA finals.  Sad
I have received my free bet and i am glad and waiting for the next match for Watford to score goals and i wish they keep on continuing their promotion Wink Cheesy

Since I made first bet on Sportsbet I haven't used another bitcoin accepting site. If they start accepting ETH they would be my only crypto bookie
Good news for you is Sportsbet accepts BTC, ETH, LTC and SOC
They started accepting these alt coins for a very long time and it looks like people are lazy enough to scroll through the different options  Grin.

Congrats everyone for the big win and i am glad to see your promotion is making everyone happy including Mia fans  Cheesy Wink.
I believe everyone have received the free bets unless they didn't claim it   Grin

I feel happy for you too guys especially those people who so lucky to get 1 btc and 100mbtc drop ... even though for me personally I lost quite a lot in this Watford vs arsenal match ..

but doesn't matter i can see and smell the success of this platform to be used widely around the world as a professional sportsbook,  the marketing team of sportsbet.io is at another level to engage community with its various and exciting promotions.

Anyways I see Sportsbet.io and bitcoin also exposed on 433 account ... a home of 23 million die hard football fans...  Shocked
2973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: September 17, 2019, 04:09:33 AM
It's a good idea for buying at the low of ethereum but if you hold btc, keep your btc and don't ever do something about it. While, thinking of buying another stack for ethereum still do more research. I'm not encouraging you to buy eth because I have it too.

But because you have mentioned it, invest with due diligence so that if the market fell shortly, it's your urge that made you invested and not from the sentiment of everyone who suggested you that it's a good thing to buy ethereum now.
You can't say fairer than that .. bitcoin should remain stay in your wallet as long as possible , if you could ... it should be there forever  Wink

Ethereum market movement is indeed well known at some point always acts in the opposite direction , it's been predicted by some pro trader since last month that ethereum might will mega moon against bitcoin ...

Today could be the turning point .. if you do some research about this ethereum mega moon possibility.. you could take a little risk ( if you badly FOMO ) by take 20% of your bitcoin holding to swap it for ethereum to take this chance. There's nothing wrong with it.

We have seen something like this happened on ethereum.
2974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 17, 2019, 03:08:32 AM
This isn't a proper term for gambling money to become a dirty, because if you played fairly and you don't have hidden agendas to take advantage; it's still a clean money. Dirty money usually have the impression on certain matters, once it involves a crime and it's resources came from evil acts like drug money or any illegal sources.
Op drag this matter down to a religion area ... which it's pretty sensitive and we have different perspectives regarding this , there's no point to discuss this stuff but to clear things up based on what op believed that gambling is a dirty money on his religion side.

Just think about this ...

Better to earn money from gamble but hurts nobody or
Do illegal things such as robbery and corruption maybe that could hurts a lot of people ?

Is it fair enough to call both is on a same level of what you call as 'dirty money' ?
I don't think so.

We had one customer who was 1 leg away from the Super Streak.. he had 10 correct bets and picked Arsenal to win.. he would have been pumped at 0:2!!

And we hosted Mia Khalifa in the Sportsbet.io Bitcoin Box.. seems like she had plenty of fun! Look out London tonight I think the party will be continuing!

It was a fun day today. Have a good night all and the last promo was the correct score of 2-2 > congratulations to rdbase who also picked 19th minute.. missed out by the smallest of margins to get it absolutely correct but still wins the signed Watford BTC Shirt! pls inbox me rdbase and we can go from there!

All the best lads!

Steve.
sportsbet.io

Too bad .. just 1 more winning and we should have the first super streak winner, however watford deserves more than that 1 point they play better than arsenal especially at the second half,  just look at the stats it shows 31 shots made by watford and 10 of them is on goal! ..
a crucial moment to boost the whole squad morale that will heading onto next big match against manchester city.

Didn't expect they could make arsenal struggling, Mia khalifa support through sportsbet.io bitcoin box might give them some more boosts ...  Grin you guys need to invite her more often.

We are heading to the last 5 hours of 1 bitcoin drop promotion ... they say someone will definitely claim this! Fingers crossed .
2977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 15, 2019, 12:52:11 PM
Everything in this whole scene is technically a gamble because of the risks it bring and the uncertainty that comes with it. Don't get me wrong, cryptocurrencies have already established its footing in the world economy, but still there is this slim chance of it failing along the way even though it's arguably one of the most sought-after fad in contemporary times. Add to that fact the volatility of its pricing. It's entirely a gamble as a whole; heck, everything including money is a gamble be it direct or indirect!
Couldn't agree more with you, if you describe gambling as risking something in hopes higher return and you know the process itself is so uncertain & unpredictable then yeah it is what it is.

But at least if you educate yourself about the whole thing about bitcoin / cryptocurrency... you might would feel better... feel better than it's just gambling but there's a lot of math factors behind bitcoin ... that runs the ecosystem, it's indeed still uncertain but won't lie / cheating like what most people accused on casinos.

So better to educate yourself and you won't feel that way anymore.
2978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading at the Bitcoin.com exchange... on: September 15, 2019, 06:55:24 AM
Roger is an asshole but if he's allowing me to trade with no fees I might as well try out his exchange. Not many people will ignore a good business opportunity just because they don't like one of the owners. It's not like we're shaking his hand every time we log in.

Just watch out for hidden buttons that will buy a lot of BCH for you. Maybe you want some BCH? Pres yes or no. You pressed no? Are you sure? Are you really really sure? Cheesy
Lol his mission is clearly to confusing people about which one the real bitcoin it is by putting bunch of bch words everywhere in the site  ... and announcing this exchange service that (actually come out late to compete) is part of his ( just like a lot of people accused) huge propaganda.

I don't mind to give it a shot to trade there , let's make a $2 deposit as a commencement  Grin .

A good and extraordinary promotion indeed , unfortunately we don't support roger ver vision about bitcoin cash ... most importantly his scummy behavior.
2979  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Halving Countdown and Other Data on: September 15, 2019, 06:33:21 AM
There is a price chart, with line breaks on halving days. There is interesting fact that on halving days, bitcoin price does usually not surpass it previous all time highs, but I do hope bitcoin will change its history with halving in 2020 because it seems bitcoin has stronger communities globally and bigger demands as well as blockchain and crypto currencies have not yet strange terms for people.
Such an optimistic chart you've got there  Grin

I really love to see it , but prefer to anticipate the worst thing could happened after the halving. I have no specific reason actually... just try to make a careful move that the mining rewards could make miners losing interest and at some point the current price of bitcoin could be considered as too high ... while some people impatient to see a higher price they are selling it piece by piece especially when the breakout unlikely happened quite a while.

I know everyone would choose to think like " the less supply distributed and the more people wants bitcoin  ....  the price of bitcoin to spike is inevitable. "

Do you think guys those pattern would repeated ? I have no idea.
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 14, 2019, 04:44:33 PM
Tottenham already have 4 and this is just at half time. So I expect even more in the second half.

Yeah. Even Chelsea was 3-0 today against Wolves at half time. It's 4-1 now thanks to Tammy Abraham's hat-trick. I am really disappointed with Wolves performance this EPL so far (2 draws, 2 loss Sad )
The match between tottenham vs crystal palace ended with 4-0 unfortunately nothing happened in the second half , I was looking for betting on under 4.5 goals after Eric lamela scored 4th goal for spurs at 42' .. I should have got a really nice odds @4.2 for that but I prefer to go on chelsea match with under 5.5 goals at lower odds which it's a loss due the chelsea match ended with 7 goals scored  Shocked .

The chelsea academy trio tomori , mount and abraham scored,  they have been at chelsea since age 7 , what a proud moment!

Transfer ban forced the club to trust the academy players .... and the trust have been paid off so far.
