I was gambling mainly on nitrogen before I started using sportsbet. Since I made first bet on Sportsbet I haven't used another bitcoin accepting site. If they start accepting ETH they would be my only crypto bookie.
Honestly i am not a big fan of betting but some of my friends have got huge interest on sports betting. I can feel their excitement during the time of watching football matches together. Undoubtedly betting is so much popular now and trusted betting websites are getting lots of new players everyday. Did all if you received the free bets? Because I didn't get any. That would have been a nice consulation to me after losing 0.038 BTC on FIBA finals. anybody having a bug with the balance in the site ? it's not that serious but I made 2 bets few minutes ago and the balance didn't change
did a refresh and nothing was changed but after 10 minutes or so the value of the 2 bets were deducted from the main balance , so seems there is a delay with balance updates ?

I used to face this delay sometime but it does not take 10 minutes for the value to be deducted, a couple of minutes at max to get the balance deducted from my balance. Even if you try to do another bet during that time thinking it is not done, it will show no balance available. I'm patiently waiting for the NBA to formally start so I can start betting a bigger amount, maybe that time I will be able to receive a free bet again.
You really do not need to bet bigger amount all the time to get free bet, check under bets if there is free bet available and if it does you can avail that if you are wagging over 1.5 odds. I think there was no restriction for the freebie this time as they said if Watford scores a goal everyone gets a free bet. |

Sportsbooks usually have to do drastical stuff to get more attention, its not like selling apples and make money, they are going against a ton of competition and they are already in a legally gray area (just to give an example, everything is legal in sportsbet.io yet they still can't allow USA players, its just the law) so doing as much marketing as possible is really the only way, if you stop doing anything than you will start losing customers to places that does big marketing. Mia Khalifa could be a weird choice for a sportsbook I would agree with that but aren't we talking about it?
I totally don't know what to think of Mia K as a mark ambassador. It seems at least odd, considering her well-known past and the fact that she openly sympathizes with West Ham. Of course, the buzz is the most important thing in marketing but on the second thought, it leaves a bad taste. Surely Mia K is not any different from Kim, maybe the biggest influential model of the planet, though I still don't think football is the right place for that kind of initiative. Let the football world for football people. What do you guys think of this marketing action? |

She seems to be a sports fan at least, but she's also pretty much just an instagram influencer now and most of them will promote anything for money and I can't really blame them. If you don't agree with it I would just ignore it but she has millions of instagram users so like it or not it's good promotion for bitcoin and that's what we need for mainstream adoption. |

You do not "need" to but some people feel more comfortable with some other type of games and some like to play regular stuff like soccer. I have never really understood soccer for example and even though there are tons of people who gamble on it, I try to stay away from it. However when NBA starts I start to bet bigger and bigger, not just because there are stuff returned for it like promotions and bonuses, but because I really want to. I would bet on NBA games bigger than other games even if there was no bonus or promotion tied to it. It is just about gambling on the sport you know and understand, if you try to bet on the team that looks like most possible to win in a sport you don't understand, you may get bigger upsets however if you know the sport very well you can spot potential upsets as well. |
