2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This latest move by the US Lawmakers can kill Stablecoins but not Bitcoin ??? on: December 09, 2020, 05:24:51 PM
^ The bill is not to kill bitcoin or any cryptocurrency instead it is to have regulation for stablecoins which means that the government will gain control over the coins by subjecting them to the jurisdiction of their local financial institution. Though this is for stablecoins which is apart from bitcoin I am not convinced that once the bill has passed and be implemented they will already be stopped for I supposed that, this is just the beginning or a trial and if the bill will work then they might take another step that bitcoin might be stricken too and the result will either be positive or negative which is almost similar to their action now towards stablecoin.
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: December 09, 2020, 05:01:02 PM
On the fence about buying crypto? Or about buying MORE crypto? Here’s everything you need to know about why you should buy more. https://www.tap.global/why-you-should-buy-bitcoin
^ It is fair and righteous to buy bitcoin to protect you financially but to buy MORE bitcoin that is another concern that has a lot of things you need to consider before doing so. Bitcoin is volatile and we cannot simply assume the price it will project in a day or two I suggest that you only invest with the amount that you can only afford to lose, in that sense no matter what happens, there will only be a minimal effect on you emotionally. Patience must be put into consideration as well if you want to buy more bitcoin because if you do so and would not get the profit you are expecting in a short period of time then you might just get disappointed since you invested a lot yet hardly seeing any progress on it you may just find it stressful. Probably there are a lot of things you need to consider first before diving into a decision that you might not yet prepare for and will just drown you in the end.
2963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and its History on: December 08, 2020, 08:31:21 PM
^ Bitcoin history is the foundation that stabilizes its current position and the core, established its superiority over the other altcoins. However, history remains in the past, though it is always fair to look back sometimes and give recognition to it will probably what matters most is today that whatever action or movement we will do may bear a huge impact on where and what bitcoin will be in the future. For tomorrow still lies in the hand of those who live in the present and the next generation will harvest the fruit of whatever we planted this day
2964  Economy / Economics / Re: Austrian School of Economics and Crypto on: December 08, 2020, 07:55:06 PM
I think this really good development will be very revealing for young people who are interested in the blockchain field and they can improve themselves better in this field.
^ Aside from the fact that this would mean a nationwide adoption of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in Austria it will also lead every individual to the right ideology and perception about cryptocurrency. Moreover, adding blockchain to the curriculum may bring lots of opportunities whereas citizens particularly students will be able to continue enhancing the technology by exploring all its capabilities. In addition, the plan is perfect to that awareness should start in the younger generations since they are more inclined into technology and the future lies on the hand of these young ones.
2965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking 10 portfolios for management on: December 08, 2020, 07:41:10 PM
Hi All,

I am taking 10 portfolios for management. Since some of you suggested that you may not qualify for the $10,000+ portfolio management and a couple of you wanted to join, I am doing a fixed $150 per month portfolio management and taking 10 clients initially.
Expected return: 35% - 50% monthly

^ Sounds too good to be true and this is an indicator of a higher chance of scam activity from a fraudster. Only grade school and old fashion seniors would buy your offers but from this forum, absolutely everyone will just ignore if will not laugh at you. Most of the people here are explicitly aware of such strategies that scammers are persuasive and will continue to cheat anyone. Although you already failed to provide proof on your previous topic but still giving you the benefit of the doubt, I will still suggest for you to provide sufficient evidence that you are legit in order for you to reposition your image and make everyone here trust you.
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trust Tether (USDT), it's very dangerous! on: December 07, 2020, 10:10:38 PM
^ In the world of trading and exchanges everything remains risky we are always bound to the possibility that prices and value may collapse in the least expected situation or time. USDT backed with 1:1 by US fiat currency has been corrected and probably since last year.  It is standing still into what it is being projected in the public, however, this doesn't guarantee that when you convert your bitcoin into USDT, it will be of the same value when you decided to repurchase bitcoin for inflation might affect the value of USDT for some reason. I am not fond of converting my bitcoin to any stable coin for I don't see them as a safe haven rather I will hold it for a period of time and when necessary I will sell a fraction of it which will suffice the amount that I only need.
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Swap Scam on: December 07, 2020, 09:45:14 PM
^ Sad but it is true that currently around the globe there is no clear or lucid law that will protect scammed people on their crypto properties and if you seek legal assistance about this then it will really cost you a lot like you've been scammed for the second time because you will pay more than the amount that was stolen from you. The best thing that we can do as of now is to be keen on our actions especially on those who will be entrusting our funds like researching first their background and their transparency to the customers including the security that they can provide to us.
2968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulation, a topic of discussion in G-7 meeting on: December 07, 2020, 09:00:12 PM
^ This is what I am afraid of, that if the government will implement such regulations forcefully then crypto enthusiasts will only have two option either become a law-abiding citizen by following to all the government regulations which have to be implemented but the ideology of decentralization and anonymity will be at stake or being free from any law but living as a delinquent in the eye of the majority. The G-7 has a great influence on the global economy and most of the other countries would just follow if the members of G-7 would start implementing such rules in crypto trading. To answer OP's question, it is not so far that it will happen for the government will never let its citizens be free from the government's eye and lose control over their finances.
2969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Map of Bitcoin Legality on: December 07, 2020, 07:09:46 PM
^ At the start, I thought that the topic is about the history of bitcoin but in the latter part, OP was able to amalgamate it to the map. which gives me an idea regarding the global adoption of bitcoin currently and it looks good than of the previous years.
In my opinion no matter where we live, laws and regulations can change so it is better for us to keep protecting our privacy.
^ Definitely right we always need to prepare for countries might change their regulations towards bitcoin and like those who are in green now may still turn into red anytime or vice versa and for those countries and regions that are in green currently which means bitcoin is legal, I know that the anonymity could possibly be at stake for the regulations in KYC is being implemented scrupulously.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan becomes more friendly towards Gambling on: December 07, 2020, 06:11:11 PM
yes gambling is one of the best way to get some fund to the community to grow and maybe to help the economy this pandemic. i think i read before from different countries about legality of gambling to their country or maybe about regulating the online gambling.

This is good decision considering the tourists and also from revenue perspective. As from gambling they would be collecting money via taxes and this would just help the economy to grow and post pandemic each government requires money now. Also, if people play in limits or just as a source to entertain it is a good thing just to have some fun time while gambling. Also making it legal will just help to get revenues rather than those who were gambling it illegally and were not even getting any revenues for it.
^ It can definitely bring good to any country if they will also follow on what Japan is about to do, for it will attract more gamblers to play in their country as it can still generate higher revenue instead of the opposite due to the taxation that was initially implemented for foreign players. This action of the Japanese government is really beneficial in terms of tax revenue especially during this time where every country is still at the point of recovery from the injury caused by the pandemic. Nevertheless, withal on this reform can be negative that more people whether their citizens or not could be addicted to gambling, for such Japanese government should still need another regulation that would secure healthy habit as well as fair treatment to every player and must be implemented strictly.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 07, 2020, 05:57:26 PM
^ This is something that I don't understand, why do they need to set up a fight with a sure winner, for we all know that Logan Paul is nothing to be compared with Floyd Mayweather in terms of boxing skills. I know that in the end, both opponents will be profitable in this fight whether they lose or win for they will still get paid but with the organizer, I am quite hesitant if they will be profitable in a fight like this where only a few will patronize this type of match. For me, this fight will not bring any excitement to any boxing fans at all unless if either of these two has a great follower or a loyal fan who would be willing to see the fight regardless of whatever the result will be or how the fight will run along the way.
2972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you should need to consider before trading cryptocurrencies? on: December 06, 2020, 09:41:29 PM
Learning about trading with cryptocurrency is good and also everyone is interested to learn about it. You can get started this process without money, but once you get more than one wins under your belt it is very easy to dump money into the investments recklessly. Of course, making more money with crypto trading is easy and also it is very important to be careful. If you are new to crypto trading, this article will give tips before starting your trading.

To Know More, Visit Here <> Steps to Check Before Trading Cryptocurrencies
^ Thank you for the link that you have shared but I disagree with what you have said that crypto trading is very easy to gain profit. Trading is not just easy to gain money, it will probably have a rekt if you are expecting too much on it. However, the link was so helpful if you have to search for a good article to start trading and that is a good practice to first a knowledge on how to trade before you will step up in trading. For me, gambling activity and trading activity are the same things that involves risk if you will hoping to gain money on this.
2973  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin trading tool on: December 06, 2020, 09:31:24 PM
has this bitcoin trading tool been tested? please provide an explanation and evidence so that novice traders can use this tool without hesitation. We wish you kindness to be able to provide an explanation and evidence of this trading tool.

Like other trading tools, the platform basically has some little tools that can help traders know stuffs like the overall market sentiment at any time using tools like the crypto fear and greed index which is use to guage market momentum and Bitmex open interests which gives an overview of traders stance (whether short or long). It's a cool app, only problem is that it doesn't have support for other altcoins except Bitcoin and ethereum.
^ Exactly, probably because those coins are at the top of all cryptocurrencies which means ETH and BTC are commonly used to pair in different altcoins that you trade. I like the tool, as a matter of fact, I bookmarked this for future reference, it seems that this has a little similarity to the trading view that it is very helpful to those who want to use technical analysis upon trading activity. Nevertheless, just also wanna know if you are the owner of this interesting tool.
2974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking Bitcoin profit in the bull run | Please Share your strategy on: December 04, 2020, 09:40:05 PM
^ Similar to OP everyone does, for no one can prognosticate what will happens next and where this bull run will take us. I probably still consider that OP's thinking is still far from FOMO and the strategy that you mentioned is a pro for this is one way that will enrich our investment rather than gaining profit and later will have a lesser chance of buyback. I must agree that 5-10% of your BTC is enough because we cannot be complacent that after this bull there will be a dump or a correction afterward in that case the remaining 90-95% will still grow while treating the percentage that you sell or you converted to a stable coin will be the sweat of your hardship as compensation in return. Cheers bud.
2975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption: Universities now Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition Payment? on: December 04, 2020, 09:12:26 PM
~snip~
Because, it’s only private owned that will be able to do this, government owned institution wouldn’t be accepting Bitcoin. With that said, I am happy with the progress that we have been seeing.
^ Definitely agree, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Business School in Spain is also accepting Bitcoin as payment for the tuition fee. though the number of these schools is still few I am pretty sure that in a not so far distant time other schools will also follow especially those who are offering courses that are related to technology in particular to blockchain IMO. As other institutions are already acquiring bitcoins in their services hence it is not impossible that even schools and universities around the globe will be acquiring it as payment. In my country, there is no school yet that accepts bitcoins for the tuition fee instead they need to convert their bitcoin first into our local currency before they can make a payment for the tuition fee using a local wallet platform.

2976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future on: December 04, 2020, 08:38:25 PM
Even the price that we've reached right now is a predictive price in the past. We can't get into any conclusion about the price of bitcoin. Everytime the price of bitcoin can't be expected to grow on the same pace, there will be decline and crashes. The future will experience similar market conditions same as that we experienced once after the price reaching ath by the previous bull market.
^ Because it is unpredictable and no one can predict what exactly awaits for bitcoin in the future, in a short period of time decreased and dump may happen, the price might be shaky as well however in the long process I am pretty sure that the price will be skyrocketing because of the mass adoption we are experiencing now. Like I mentioned we may have dumped in the price such as corrections but that will occur because of the exchanges that may happen due to ATH. Nevertheless, there is only one thing I can be sure and that is bitcoin will remain volatile today and in the future.
2977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Give me your predictions for the next long term peak, and why. on: December 04, 2020, 08:22:48 PM
^ It is not really bad giving such predictions for it denotes positivity both in bitcoin and those who hold bitcoin. However, I don't have a third eye either possessing any superstitious power to give a prediction on what will be the price of bitcoins 2 years from now and I hate giving false hope for myself that will disappoint me in the latter part. Since everyone is giving their opinions so I would rather give mine too lol. In ten years of bitcoin existence, we saw how bitcoin struggles to establish itself as a cryptocurrency especially on its price a lot of ups and downs happened in the past ten years but now we are reaching $20k so I would probably divide the current price into 10 years to get the average and that is $2k per year so probably, the price may be increased to $24 or $25k and for me it is fair but if the price will go beyond this then I will also be gleeful for the success.
2978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will all countries accept crypto as currency? on: December 04, 2020, 08:08:46 PM
there are still many countries that cannot accept crypto in their country, why?  do you know  for example in the country of Indonesia crypto has not been legalized because it is considered gambling and money laundering, what about your countries?
^ Bitcoin in my country remains legal and I am not seeing the possibility that they will soon ban cryptocurrency here. In fact, we already have some schools that offer courses related to blockchain and also merchants that accept bitcoins as payment. However, our government doesn't encourage any citizen to invest in bitcoin or with any other cryptocurrency due to the risk or become a victim of scammers neither get involve with any Ponzi scheme. Nevertheless, for me, our government stands are only fair and just since they are only after our welfare yet they are not suppressing our free will.
2979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arrives on Wall Street: S&P Dow Jones launching crypto indexes in 2021 on: December 04, 2020, 07:58:12 PM
YES! This is NOT good news.
^ Definitely right, it is really bad news and I may also consider that they are already trying to manipulate bitcoin by bringing up another 550 coins by next year. It may not appear that it has no direct impact with bitcoin but by having these other coins which could be an alternative, people may tend to seek an option if bitcoin's price will continuously be increased and if that will happen investors may be divided and the price can possibly dump which could weaken bitcoin. Probably, this is a form of conspiracy from someone or a group of people who wants to vanquish bitcoin by providing tons of available options and later will plummet as well in their own phase.
2980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like the bullrun is over this year! on: December 04, 2020, 07:30:34 PM
~snip~
It's December, after all!
Are the bulls gone now or what?
^ Be patient because the price volatility of bitcoin will never abate, we may still experience some price shakes but that is only due to some bitcoin investors who will probably to sell their bitcoins and probably because of FOMO or could be because of the holiday season like what OP mentioned it's December now and we consider this as the shopping season but that may not be enough reason to conclude that the bullish is over for more individuals are still coming in as far as I know to invest and own some bitcoins due to the mass adoption and awareness made by large companies who acquire bitcoin in their services now.
