2961  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: September 04, 2016, 11:57:00 AM
For me, data entry is an online job for beginners, they can start from that task while learning other things. It is just like PTC sites (pay to click) which only a very low amount of earnings. So in everything you do, you should level up.

Correct. It is good way to start and test the waters in online world. However, if you have the skill of writing, I would suggest to have an upwork account  and post your skills there about writing. There are many employers that are needing writers for their webbsites because content is king.
2962  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: September 04, 2016, 11:53:50 AM
i got all my freelance work payment via bitcoin all these 3 years. spent very little. believed in bitcoin and was holding all these times. finally its going uppppp !!! who is holding like me since this long?

im holding mine before halving. but spend it now. and im happy about it. because my btc for 500$. i think the most important part is you enjoy the item that you buy using your bitcoins Smiley

That is good to spend the bitcoin. If you pay with bitcoin, that will increase the circulation and help the price.

Many people want to use the bitcoin, but the transaction confirmation time is too slow at the moment. They are using the Ethereum now.

There are times that the level of confirmations are slow but there are ways to get with this - we can pay higher amount of transaction fees and the process is very fast. For me, it is alright to wait for confirmation and benefit from all of bitcoin's features than fiat money transactions that has many government regulations.
2963  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: How can I know those HYIP site are paying? on: September 04, 2016, 11:46:51 AM
How do I know that the website will be scammed?

You will see it in the site monitoring hyip but my suggestion is stay away with hyip and ponzi ,I experienced some site closing without even you got roi so it's very difficult to earn you will just lost.

never ever ever ever invest in hyip sites. If it is too good to be true, it is not true! Even if it is common that the first investors will get payout, still it is  not good because the payout you received are from the new investors that are also victimized by you. Never ever ever invest in hyip offers.... ever...
2964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Block Reward Halving Countdown - Excited? on: September 04, 2016, 11:43:19 AM
I don't care about the halving, For what important to me is to monitor the increasing value of bitcoins and when the price is slowly down its a good sign for me to buy little by little a few of bitcoins. though predicting sometimes its hard to do it, Smiley

That is right. Halving seems no affect at all to the price of bitcoin. In fact, the price of bitcoin is now going down compared to the time I posted this thread. What I am thinking now is that bitcoin can really stand amidst any circumstances. Hence, bitcoin price will surely rise sooner or later, just my own opinion..
2965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 04, 2016, 11:36:55 AM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards

If you really want to stay away from gambling you must have strong determination.

So, you are going to help yourself to stay away from gambling.
Because without strong determination you are just going to get back again once you are already staying away from it.

Your ego is going to dictate you that you must go back again in gambling if you are not determined for your change.

Right. The very first person that can help you overcome gambling addiction is yourself. No amount of peer and professional support can easily help you overcome the said addiction but yourself. When you have that fixed and determined conviction to change, then you will change and if you won't help yourself, no one can either.
2966  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 04, 2016, 08:24:31 AM
in my opinion to is get profit in better amount is that you should hold btc for a log amd and then sell it for your profit with increase price . in this way we can get profit with small risk .
The question is when the best time to sell , and if you have big amount in your balances , it doesn't matter as long as you can divided your balances into different source . But , hold it for the few years without spending , it's lazy way to earn for me.
Now is actually the best time to sell because the price of bitcoin is getting a big pump now, we have to take the opportunity because it will not happen all the time. If this price will fall back again at least we were able to sell our bitcoins when the price hits $600.

If you don't really need the money yet, I believe it is wise to hold and buy even more bitcoins. Bitcoins will for sure rise its price sooner or later because of its high potential and many people are using and benefiting from its features and convenience. However, if you really need the money now, then yes, it is a good time to sell bitcoins now.
2967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: September 04, 2016, 08:19:32 AM
That thing happens to me very often whether i am gambling in dice sites or i am having sports betting in soccer, basketball or cricket.
I am gambling since 2 years and that thing mostly happens with me dont know i am unlucky or there is some reason behind this.
Is this happens with you also? Can u figure out what is the reason behind this ?
There are so much trouble with gambling i was been there than that if i am trying to troll with my bitcoin i always win with small bets but when i am get into serious mode when i am trying to double my high bet i always lose what kind of gambling im playing haha i like betting sports because you don't play with your money im letting my money play with other.

From time to time, I play dice games and sportsbetting. I notice really that I have more profit in sportsbetting than in dice games. Maybe because I know more the basketball teams I am betting to and has parameters in myself as to whether or not the team will win. And the good thing with me when I bet on sports, I feel like a big man or the owner of the team Smiley
2968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 04, 2016, 08:16:37 AM
When I had reason to get much money then I was playing dice, roulette and poker most of the time. Once I realized on based of experience with loss of money that I am not going to no where. I shifted my play into sports betting only and now both profit and fun. There is nothing bad to make some extra bucks when you are enjoying the match anyway.

Totally agree with you. I am also a fan of sports - basketball in particular. Before, when I don't bet yet to basketball games, I always react and act like a coach while watching the game. But when I started betting, I feel much intense and like the owner of the team already Smiley I don't know, that is just how I observed myself when betting into basketball games.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 04, 2016, 08:12:25 AM
I don't think that it is wrong, it is just a simple game
Yeah for me, gambling itself is really not wrong at all, for me it is depend on a gambler on how they will handle their game. And if they don't know exactly how gambling works then they will end up bankruptcy and that's the time gambling will be wrong for that person.
Yes, if someone considers gambling wrong then why don't they stop gambling and why they keep crying ? No one is forcing us to gamble and spend their time with gambling so really its not right to call something right or wrong just because it gives loss and we personally dont win.
Actually, I think that one of gambling is when a person with greedy gambling and addiction. Because it will make us continue to bet without self-control. It should be avoided because it will create a negative effect on our lives. Better if the gamble should have self-control in order not to become addicted and greedy.

When you let emotions comes in while you are gambling, the chances of getting bust is imminent. Why? because if we really feel our initial winnings, we tend to bet more to earn more - that is how majority of people reacts. However, if you play with pre-planned bets and no emotions involve, then you are good with gambling.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 04, 2016, 08:08:57 AM
Yes I would, but maybe what I'm doing is not what is called gambling in general. If you google the word "gambling" you will find this definition: "Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods." But I have no intent of winning additional money, I mean any significant amount which you may call "additional money". The amounts I gamble with may give me in case of winning 5-6 USD max, so it won't change my life in any way. The good side of this approach is you won't lose much either, that's why I persistently recommend this approach to everyone.

We also add to the equation the fun we feel while betting. It should be the main goal - entertainment and if it isn't fun any longer, then better stop at once. However, if we want to play like a pro gambler, then we should not play for fun nor for rage - it should be playing with pre-planned bets without emotions.
2971  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 04, 2016, 07:57:59 AM
For now 64.7% are using as both and I'm one of them too. I'm a fan of good movies so I used Bitcoin as a currency to buy some. But mostly I use it as an investment so far.

I don't know where did you get that figure "64.7%" but anyway, in my personal take on this, most of the bitcoin holders are using all of bitcoins features because of ease and convenience in terms of transactions. When you get to hold 1 bitcoin now, you can invest or trade it in no time within minutes as compared to using fiat money where there are government regulations to send some identifications and other requirements before one casn start trading.
2972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Everyone is buying on: September 04, 2016, 07:49:45 AM
It looks like everyone and their grandma's are SELLING!!! From CNY 3874 to CNY 3774 within the last hour.
There is literally any news to back up this selling frenzy. It is not nothing but market being ambiguous.
I suspect it is because there is strong Ether pump going right now. But BTC price won't drop below $550 this is current floor. And soon it will jump to $600.

What strong Ether pump are you talking about? I don't see any of the Ether coins get pumped at all. They are just moving like they are always doing.
Yes. Some people just tend to make these weird assumptions when BTC seems like it is dropping or being dumped.
Just another average daw for bitcoin IMO. I know bitcoin will easily be sitting steady towards $600 by end of this year. Even $1000 also will be possible based on supporting incidents like US election and China economy reforming.

We don't really have to worry investing to bitcoins whether in its low and high price because bitcoin is established and all has a very big potential because of the concept and its features. There are also many people using and are benefiting from bitcoin - not to mention big investors investing to bitcoins. I mean, it is all good to invest in bitcoins. Lastly, all of the other cryptocurrencies tend to be bought and exchange through bitcoin - which signals that bitcoin in the king of cryptocurrencies.
yap if you bitcoin at lower point but for this time not worth to buy bitcoin even i know the price has rise a little and the price not always go into one side.
We dont know if the price will continues to increase but if you buy right now and the price goes down you can not still lose because you can be still wait that the price will increase again more high..  but the problem when it takes a long time again if the price is decrease again.

Every low price of  bitcoin is  an opportunity for us bitcoin users to buy more.  I t would surely move up since as we witness that the price is  slowly spiking  up again. If there are  more users would  bought bitcoins  then price would surely go up.   Decreasing bitcoins price would be  hard   unless if theres another incident  would  happen like on  bitfinex.

If you have full trust that bitcoin will rise its price then, you can buy bitcoins in a regular basis now whether the price is high or low. There is no stopping - that is how long term investment shall be. The price of bitcoin now is very ideal since it has a lot of potential and will surely spike its price in few years from now. Well, that is just my own personal opinion though.
2973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 04, 2016, 07:28:42 AM
A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

I think I would still gamble for fun. If I won then that's good and if I lose, that is okay as well because I only do it for fun and when I gamble, I already fulfilled my purpose. As long as the amount I gamble is insignificant compared to my total funds then it would be okay. Maybe I would gamble because some of the people I would meet in casinos have businesses and would be my potential business partners so its a bonus as well having connections to different people.

Wow! I love this reason why we gamble. Gambling to casinos to network with equally financially successful people is good, definitely good. Now, here is the thing: when your reason to gamble in casino to earn decent amount of money, most of the time you will be discouraged; however, if your purpose is to network prospects, then whether or not you win, doesn't matter at all Smiley
2974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 04, 2016, 07:24:46 AM
It is much better to invest as it is less risky than gambling

Yeah that is true but you can still earn more through gambling rather than invest. So I would prefer to do both because you can earn both too with a risk thing to do but slowly play to get better result. Greedy will give you only loss for sure, thats why you need to control yourselves in gambling. But in investment you dont need to do anything just to maintain your balance to earn more. That is why to do both is much more effective way rather than to choose either one of them
And I think investment in gambling sites is very slow like 1% of wagered and then the house edge and all so we hardly earn anything significant when investing in gambling sites.

I personally also prefer gambling over investment ( in gambling sites ) because I was very sad when some site scammed ( I think was dice ninja ) though amount was small but my expectations were high and were ruined.

gambling may make many money compared to just investing to gambling sites. But it can also take all of your money in just split of seconds. There is too much risk to gamble especially that you don't have any system and proper bankroll management in place. Investing to gambling sites also comes with risks but it is minimal compared to you are the one gambling on the site.

yes gambling depends on the thought or purpose they play. if to get income I think is wrong, but for fun and try luck is not so bad. as long as you can control yourself and not addicted.
Yes, I also tend to agree with this. The problem though with gambling is that if 1% people are gambling for fun then 99% of people are gambling for money and hence loose. So I am sorry guys but I have to call gambling is wrong since we have to consider the large number of people are loosing only with gambling.

I respect your stand that gambling is wrong. But my look at it is just like this analogy: Gambling is like drinking beer - you drink beer with friends to relax and unwind and socialize. Does drinking beer for unwinding and fun a wrong thing? Of course not! unless your drinking habit is alarming already because you drink too much and carelessly that's when it becomes bad. Same thing with gambling, if you play just for entertainment, I don't see anything wrong about it - however, if you already betting more money that you can't afford to lose, then it becomes bad already.
2976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 04, 2016, 05:50:55 AM
I think I was still playing even if I was rich. I play for fun and my basic motive is not to make money to get rich. I enjoy each bet I place. Sports games are like passion for me I just transform this passion to make some money if there is chance. I don't feel need to place on everything. So I was gambling doesn't matter what financial situation I was having.

Gambling is really designed for entertainment and if you want to make this as a living then, you must have the system and discipline in place otherwise, you will surely encounter several losses and may mess your peaceful life. If you are only playing for fun and spend money that you can afford to lose, then status in life doesn't matter at all.

haha Playing gambling just to loose money ! No i do prefer to have fun. Yeah you are right  you've encounter a lot of losses but sooner or later you win but just have a discipline on your self to not to be greedy because it can cause you a lot of trouble.

If you were rich, i'm sure you will okay even you gambling just to lose money. Because you have much money and don't care about it. Gambling for fun also be your priorities than for profit.

Some very rich people still managed to lose all their money on gambling, just because their huge level of addiction to it. Even rich people should be careful with their spending, anything can happen.

Managing proper bankroll in a discipline manner doesn't matter whether the person concern is rich or poor. Thus, it is essential to learn these things first before betting regardless of your current financial status. Gambling is a game of luck and your goal is not just to win, you need to find ways to make yourself luckier.

yes managing a bankroll is very important, but gambling can not compromise. you might always lose. so has a bigger bankroll, easier to manage a bankroll when they lose.

Correct. Having big bankroll is very ideal because if you have small amount of bankroll and dividing them into several sessions, then you are makng your bankroll very thin and if ever you will win some profits, it will not be significant and will become more boring - once you get bored, you tend to go outside your sessions plan and bet big amounts and before you know it, you are already done - all your bankroll are gone. That is why, discipline is very important - you must follow your system no matter how much the bankroll would be.
2977  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 04, 2016, 05:47:03 AM
If you want the free one to earn steady income with bitcoin, you can try join a signature campaign on service section. It's a good way to earn bitcoins every week.

it is true that signature campaign is a steady income - most of signature campaign's payout is weekly. If you are diligent enough to do several posts a day and you are already enrolled to particular signature campaigns, then you will have some steady flow of bitcoins. However, if this is the only main source of yours for a living, then it is not enough. You need to look for other ways to earn apart from signature campaign.
2978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: September 04, 2016, 05:42:23 AM
I'm sure many gambler keeps coming back because they already lose much money/bitcoins on gambling and they want to try winning back their loses.

This is true. Most of the gamblers are trying to win back their losses in their previous sessions. It is also true that there are other gamblers who keeps on coming back because they just love playing and betting, period - after all, gambling is design for entertainment. If you are new to gambling and would like to play to profit big, then you better not. It takes a lot of good experiences and system to win against the house.
2979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: September 04, 2016, 03:15:06 AM
since i had heared by many friends that investing money at gambling site instead of gamble is more profitable if admin of gambling site is honest & pay honestly.

Yeah, that is certainly true. That all the investments made in gambling is far more profitable than having to do a gambling, as the investment does not require something or need a strategy. We only provide funds to developers and afterwards they will return our money with bonuses given (profit). But we can't get an advantage in a long period of time, so we cannot expect more than a gambling investment

Maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on the situation because its a gambling you cant assure that everyday is a lucky day, you may lose if a gambler gets a win in streak or the site where you interested get hacked you may lose money in one shot too or could be also if the site you invested runs your money. So be be very careful.

If you worried that site owners might scam you then you must choose trusted sites to invest and you can find few good sites to consider in this forum. All investments come with some risks and without taking risks we can't grow our money so to reduce losses from casino investments you should diversify your money into few good casinos than in the long run you will make some good profit.

I have a feeling that you will skip on this, but can you please elaborate those few sites you are speaking? So we can have an idea about their existence.

You can check this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.msg16127584#msg16127584

There you will get around few good sites to consider for investing. Also, you can check last one month plus performance of these sites. Hope it will help you to make some decision on which sites to consider for your initial casino investments.

Thank you so much for sharing the thread link fullypak. I am reading now and is planning to invest a little part of my coins to betking and we will see.. I am spreading wide now all of my bitcoins although the profit will be smaller but I do hope that the overall profit is good.
