no idea.... if that does nto work then maybe..... try flashing back to old firmware maybe?

Its a configuration/software issue. Seen this a couple of times as I was flashing within the various firmware. You can try flashing it back to the stock firmware. Hard Reboot, reapply settings.

Tried it still stuck, but Im at work now so I have to wait till I get out Sad

hiw long were you running 350? What kind of environment? what temps? What were your hw errors like?
2985  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: June 24, 2013, 07:47:24 PM
why are you all sleeping next to your hardware? ever tried earplugs?Huh?

is this good enough for upgrading a batch 1 PSU?

Mine had a 750 watt Gold Enermax, so replacing with a 750 watt Bronze power supply may not be an upgrade.

I thought batch 1 had gold 650W PSU? I have one of those corsair bronze laying around.................. would it be better than a gold 650w?

So I thought I'd make it easy for everyone to try the latest cgminer 3.3.0 and overclock settings all rolled into one, so here is a firmware with the overclock settings settable from the web interface:

(perhaps my mistake was that I have kept settings)

I got this same exact Cgminer API error

HELP ME PLEASE!

My unit has been offline for 8 hours now Sad

kill cgminer process (needs to be done twice)
save config again.... try 345 instead of 350... it seems more stable for me
goto startup and RESTART cgminer.....

repeat this process every 5mins if not working
2989  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~6000Gh] [Private Pool] A few good miners needed on: June 24, 2013, 06:23:49 PM
thats me up and running with avalons..... what difficulty setting do you suggest if i point my USB erupters at the pool also.... 3.3GH/s per hub

I have tried it and I am back to FW 20130519 which was the most stable for m

with 300 and 325 cgminer runs only a few minutes, the fans went up to 38xx rpm (noisy) and then cgminer restarts

thx for your work Smiley
PS: I have learned again -> never change a running system Cheesy

is this a batch one or batch 2?

either way it should not be doing that on 282mhz......
2992  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [UPDATE]Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 84 Gh/s @350MHZ[STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 04:39:40 PM
Is anyone able to compile a firmware where the fans still throttle, or a way to change that manually? I need to sleep next to this thing.

Also a way to set max temp to 48/49? One of the modules sits on 47 which triggers max RPMs, although I can hopefully move this to somewhere a bit cooler.

unlucky......
2993  Economy / Goods / 10 port ANker USB hubs on: June 24, 2013, 01:42:52 PM
I have 3 of these up for sale, each run 10USB erupters perfectly.

0.5BTC per hub + 15e postage within EU, items are sent from within NL

peace

9h 34m 30s
81931.77

getworks 1238
accepted 20556
rejected 93
HW 1312

setting 345..... apaprently this works better than 350.... can anyone compare
2995  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 77 Gh/s [STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 01:07:45 AM
I think a 750 or 850 will do the job unless you plan on upgrading to 4 modules later

Wattage / 3 * 4 is what u need fir 4 modules.

I would stop running your batch 1 with overclock until u uo grade though
2996  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 77 Gh/s [STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 12:33:35 AM
Mine generally run around 50 this could be to do with the fans struggling to reach max
2997  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 77 Gh/s [STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 12:31:23 AM

batch 1 and 2 batch 2 devices running at 350 Mhz.  Cool

350mhz x 240chips = 84000ghs. One of your units is loosing 4000ghs from that. They have 650 psu? 350mhz requires a 750 I think
2998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 77 Gh/s [STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 12:29:02 AM
Well the fan with the blue light on 2 of my batch 1 unit struggles a little... it does not like full speed, so this woukd cut out after a while, many hw errors, heat and SICK once or twice.

what temps do your batch 1 normally run on 300?

2999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch 2 AVALON STOCK OVERCLOCK to 77 Gh/s [STABLE] on: June 24, 2013, 12:18:08 AM
Batch 1 do jot have as big a psu as batch 2...... be careful I had issues with my batch 1 units after a while
3000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: June 23, 2013, 11:34:40 PM
what do your accepted, rejected and HW look like?

whats the formula for working out the real HW?
Well, I don't care.

My calculation is 365MH * 240chips = 87600MH/s ...200MH Loose  Cheesy

Edit: srry for my calculations hehe

345 x 240 = 82800 - 82130.28 = 669.72MH

temp 1 = 25
temp 2 = 41
temp 3 = 44
