That is Dash is really nice coin as it's struggling at the moment to find the path to the moon. I hope the price wont dropped from this range and will back to $100 very soon. I think we will see a price reversal (new uptrend) soon enough, currently we seem to be moving sideways with regards to price in what i would call the accumulation phase. |

Hi, I have a question regarding the attitude toward mining. Please keep in mind, for the record I am not a troll against Dash, I think Dash is a great coin, and I have been mining it since it was darkcoin since late 2014. I do not own a lot of Dash, I own a old ibelink X11 DM384M ASIC miner, that does not generate much money at all, yet I keep it running. My point is that every Dash video I watch on my linkedin seems they are made just to bash the "evil" miners. I see this attitude in the dash forums, etc, and it is a real turn off and I stopped contributing on the forum because of it. I thought you needed to have miners and MNs to secure the network, I just don't get all the hate? I love Dash, but I hate the miner haters. What if people decided to hate the MN operators and give them as bad of a name as the miners have? Not trying to be a jerk here, I am just trying to understand what is driving the hatred of mining dash. Is there a Dash "miners union" that is here trying to undermine the coin? Maybe I just don't understand the whole negativity of this? Any nice responses would be appreciated.
Where you see that miners hate? Not from anybody from team, I am sure. Actually I remember community was happy with first Asics and very interested? Yeah, i'm not seeing the hate for miners either. As a trader, would you be concerned if Mark Zuckerberg owned more than 5% of the shares of his company? How about Steve Jobs? In the case of Dash, does Evan Duffield own too much Dash? In general, a founder owning a large portion of the supply of anything does not invalidate the idea, though possible economic nuances exist relative to how much the large portion is. Like companies, my focus is how is the idea moving forward and is it moving forward over how much the founder has. Still, Evan recently stated how much he owns of the supply, which is less than Satoshi "supposedly" owns of the bitcoin supply (I think this 1+ million is debatable). Satoshi dont stake his bitcoins. There is no excuse to reduce emission. Evan should let it as it was first day not reduce it after other started mining. All would be fine and he would be most likely richer. But he preplaned it this way. So was impossible to be OK. In general who cares about it at all. There are millions of posts allready about his idiotic scam he made. Dash is no scam .. period. You just earned a place on my ignore list as you seem incapable of rational discussions about Dash without resorting to emotional scam allegations. That firmly puts you on the same level as cryptohunter and AdamWhite in my eyes, both who practise very low level trolling. Congratulations. |

Dear people/lovers of Dash, I'm a student in Holland who is doing a research- and advisory report on the advantages and disadvantages of the Blockchain. In relevance to my research I'm also doing a research on a few protocols, like Dash. I have a few questions about Dash.. I would greatly appreciate the help I can get here for my research. I have read the whitepaper and also seen a lot of videos about Dash. For me and my research is important that I can have opinions from experts/developers/traders for Dash and how they see Dash as a project.
Firstly I would like to know if you're a developer for something (doesn't have to be Dash, can also be another cryptocurrency) or a trader.. Because I want to compare the answers of developers/experts with traders. My questions are: 1. What is Dash as a technology?
2. What is the vision of the project Dash?
3. Bitcoin transactions are transparent. Dash uses Darksend to hide the transactions. What is the reason that Dash uses this function? Isn’t transparency the reason people wanted to use Bitcoin?
4. Which errors/mistakes of the Bitcoin protocol does Dash solve? In other words, what are the advantages of Dash above Bitcoin?
5. Why would someone choose Dash above other cryptocurrencies? In other words, what are the advantages of Dash above other currencies/projects, e.g. Ethereum and BitShares?
6. What is a Masternode? Why would someone choose to be an Masternode?
7. How does Dash use the Governance code? How do they make decisions within their network?
8. How does the Virtual Corporation of Dash work? Where do they get money from to pay for the expenses?
9. Is Dash ready to be used mainstream? Why is it (not) ready?
10. What are the disadvantages of Dash?I really really would appreciate the help I can get for this. These trolls really do look pathetic on this forum, using trolling techniques from the stone age.
Even worse : deep down inside they know they are wasting their own time and energy posting like that,
but they just cant stop themselves. They got totally addicted to trolling and then got stuck in
their trolling behaviour.
Their accounts on the Bitcointalk forum are at this point nothing more then trolling accounts,
which lost any credibility a long time ago. In reality they have become the joker of posters.
The only thing good out of these trolls is that they can be put on ignore and that they
will bump this thread with dedication time after time after time.
