2981  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] $52 BTC [W] $47 PAYPAL on: January 21, 2020, 09:30:05 PM
I'm guessing you are talking USD? I can make this trade for you if you are still available. I'll be around sporadically for the next 10 hours or so for a quick trade. Post here or PM me.

If the deal has been done you should lock this thread.
Yes, he is talking on USD, seems you didn't notice $ in title. I didn't get any  response from him and as it seems he hasn't been there from January 15. So I think this deal busted.
2982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we now confirm that he's Faketoshi.? on: January 20, 2020, 07:21:58 AM
Strategy ends when combat begins. This is what happens around Craig Wright right now, all he wants is to earn money, he choose good time for calling himself satoshi and gained serious attention but the worst part is that he still gains attention from media.
He was trying to register copyright on Bitcoin Code and Bitcoin White Paper in US but we have to consider that copyright does not prove the holder invented the technology, so what was the main reason? Money of course.
Imagine you are the creator of something and you left it unknown that you created, years passed and you decided to reveal yourself and there is 0 people who claims that he/she invented that thing so you are alone claiming that. Please can anyone explain how is it possible to not be able to prove that you invented thing? It's 100% visible that Craig Wright lies and he is looking for money.
Even his last action confirms that, Bitcoin SV soared from 200$ up to 430$ after he complied with court order and what he show them? Just public keys that's accessible for everyone but it caused price manipulation, he did his job well. And what media does? Publishing articles around him, seems Craig's strategy works.
2983  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to change the obsolete social media from account info on: January 18, 2020, 06:48:42 PM
Does any of you know which of these social media have been included in the new update of the forum? Are there plans to include specific one, or will they be ignored?

In general, I did not pay attention to them and I think there is no point in adding them, as it increases the confusion of a forum that focus on texting.
At the moment none of them, you can only fill the bars of 1. Your website and 2nd - Your BTC adress.
I think they will be ignored because there is none talk about that and if you are interested with planned features, here it is: http://epochtalk.org/map.html#planned
New forum will have better communication possibilities like notification on hashtag and etc so...
2984  Other / Meta / Re: Proposes to enable these features for temp-ban users on: January 18, 2020, 05:01:21 PM
I've just been freed from the shackles of a temporary ban. This is my stupidity (I missed a sticky rule on the bounties board), sacrificing my account for only .003 ETH giveaway from a bounty thread. I couldn't do anything for 7 days, unable even to send merits and report posts. Only came to read and wait.

I'd like to propose to enable these two features for temp-ban users. Although I have no plans to get banned again forever, at least these two things are the form of contributions to the forum during the ban for anyone.
Hope my proposal can be considered and granted.

Btw, thanks for this 2nd chance.

The persons who want to take part in developing / making this forum better, aren't getting banned. The idea behind temp ban is to paralyze you on this forum for a while, it's like a punishment you know. You should just wait.
I think they may not add the features that you suggested cause it's form of activity.
2985  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] Paypal $100 [W] BTC @ 1:1 Preev on: January 18, 2020, 04:38:04 PM
Hello, right now I only need 50$. If you are ok with it, then let's trade.
2986  Other / Meta / Re: Future possible again change Forum Ranking Rules ? on: January 18, 2020, 10:53:22 AM
When start forum 2009, rank policy system only activities then 2018 change forum rules rank up policy merit + Activities , I ask @theymos again any Possibility change forum rules upcoming future.
At first before saying something, you need to have basic information and know a little story around it.
Let me tell you that at first there wasn't any activity requirement to rank up, only post counts (Since there are no limits on post per day, it was useful against spammers).

Then there was added activity requirement, 1 activity in 1 day, automatically but in order to activate this activity, you have to post so 1 post activates 1 activity point. It created a barrier of not ranking up immediately, for reaching SR member you need 240 activity that means that 240 days of wait and for hero - 480. Still it wasn't a problem because people were registering accounts and starting posting later (you can register and wait 40 days, post 40 post in one day and get 40 activity). So alone this automatic system wasn't enough, then the merit came.

As for now alone post count and activity point don't have enough power to rank you up because in 2018 merit system was implemented, now only the combination of these 3 can boost your rank. System can't give you merit automatically, only users can. So this makes ranking process more manual based and combination of these 3 makes it more difficult for spammers to rank up. The only other thing that comes to my mind for far strict rules is to make ranking process 100% manual, i.e. when person has 240 merit/post/activity, then this account moves under Staff's review and he/she will decide whether this user really deserves rank up or not. But I hugely doubt that will happen.

You want to read and post on this forum? It gives you possibility of that without limitations. Want to post images? Then buy Copper Membership. Want more signature space? Then consider this: Quality over quantity.
Good luck.
2987  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The Tap app is the definition of modern Alt-banking - Crypto and Fiat all in one on: January 17, 2020, 10:01:28 PM
You think your idea is exciting but in reality it isn't. The idea of crypto is decentralization and what you offer is centralization at some point.
Before crypto there was fiat so let's learn from past experience. There is one project in Russia, WalletOne that offers you to move money on WebMoney, Yandex, Qiwi and other partner wallets, various deposit/withdraw possibilities and other online banking services except loans. It's almost analogue of what you mean OP and there are very serious people behind this project but somehow it's still not so popular, people prefer to use services separately.
When we talk about crypto, we have to consider that it's not bank and there are no money refunds, privacy is N1 priority. When major exchanges have some hacks and leaks, what do you think, will anyone really use all in one service? Or more likely possible all in one lose?

But I would love to see you launching Prepaid card, that will be much more popular and successful. But you know what people want? Result, not promises cause everyone gives promises but wishful results are rare. If I were you, I would launch Prepaid Card with some online banking features like currency exchange, some plans for cards usage (ATM fees, max daily spend, max withdraw and etc that changes according to paid plans), possibility to pay bills and etc via it.

Personally I wouldn't put much effort in AIO service but you know what you'll do, wish you success.

Bitcointalk Forum Founder account satoshi last few years not  active her account,  satoshi account  last active December 13,  2010 what a metter

2989  Economy / Services / Re: Bitsler Signature & Avatar Campaign (Closing Friday) on: January 17, 2020, 09:18:18 AM
Had amazing three years with Bitsler. Without doubt this is one of the most amazing casino with amazing staff behind it, all of them are very friendly.
Today I'm wearing old signature, just because I liked it and reminds me old days.
What goes around comes around so hope one day our paths will be crossed again.
Good luck to yahoo62278 and Baryom in their own business.
2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: January 16, 2020, 11:28:24 PM
I don't know mentality of people in your country but what I see in overall is bad, when you ask such question, they'll say something similar: Sorry what? Are you kidding? I can't understand what you mean and etc. There is even no time to explain because supermarkets are mostly busy and in random stores, when you ask whether you can pay in btc or not, the thing they do is funny, they call to manager or etc and ask that there is a guy that wants to pay with bitcoin, do we have something like that? What is it? Discount provider?
OP's idea is great, really the greatest but the problem is that in reality demand isn't high on bitcoin payments. One user from our forum had Cafe in London if I remember correctly and was accepting bitcoin payments but during some months he only received one payment and that was like a donation, thank you tip.
2991  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 16, 2020, 10:55:54 PM
For last 6- 7 months btc price was around of 7.5k$ , now this support level is no longer, that mean btc is ready to dump hard.
Conclusion: This proposal gives us full evidence to state that bitcoin will be 5K again.
Cmon man, it's not correct when you create thread and leave it with one proposal, at least write down arguments why it will hit 5K, make analysis of price prediction. Seems you hang on every fact and moment that's happening around bitcoin, for example upcoming halving. Can you clarify what kind of support was in last 6-7 months? I think none, we just wanted to come from lowest 3K and did it, then there was huge play between  7k and 13k price range. Is this something new for bitcoin? Haven't you seen such situation in past?
2992  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: January 16, 2020, 09:57:37 PM
I am surprised that freebitco added so many football matches for next weekend for betting, thats great. Some guy bet 1BTC in Barcelona-Granada looking for the 100x multiplier I am sure...

My question is, are you going to add Fixed odds this year or some kind of white label sportsbook to bet in all sports with freebitco.in ??

We are indeed looking to add fixed-odds sports betting this year. It won't be a white-label, we'll integrate a 3rd party odds feed with our own front end.

That would be great because number of crypto sportsbooks increases and freebitco has name, traffic, history, trust among people so why not to integrate it? But you have to change design of your website or if you want to stick with at, I would add subdomain with different design modified for sportsbook, I think it will be much more nicer.
Now I want to turn on free btc claims, isn't there any indicator to show how much wager we need in order to get higher bonuses back? It's very frustrating that added bonus reward declines so easily with just some free claims. Otherwise everything is ok, freebitco still continues to keep the faucet up and working like never before.
2993  Other / Off-topic / Re: your internet costs and income on: January 16, 2020, 09:19:39 PM
along with the development of digital technology, have you ever thought about the internet costs that you use for your needs ...? where we always open the market every day and trade your cryptocurrency assets, let's calculate with your income, in one day whether you always explore exchanges, social media, upload, share and other sites, is it commensurate with your income or is it commensurate with the sale and purchase of your cryptocurrency assets ...? where every time we make a sale and purchase there will be a cost, and the time we spend does not count how many hours we live on our computer or smartphone and etc, ..?
When talking about internet's costs and income, let's talk about it's benefits too and whether they outweigh income or not. With internet you can have conversations with people, watch movies, download games, book hotel, check discounts and a lot of fun. In overall internet saves our time, gives us possibility to do a lot of job with little cost and from home without even going anywhere. When you want to buy fragrance for example, prices offered online are far beneficial than those ones in local stores, we save rental prices here and other costs. So the one answer to your question from business perspective can be that internet gives some business possibility to save tons of money and have store available for 24/7 (online).
Internet cost isn't huge at all, it's pretty cheap but still depends on the country where you live but I agree with that mobile data is expensive but people use flat internet most of the times because of no data restrictions and affordable price.
2994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain the most desirable skill of 2020 according to LinkedIn on: January 16, 2020, 09:54:10 AM
Blockchain isn't skill, blockchain is technology and skills are following: Public Speaking, Communication, Writing, Creative thinking and etc. Being a blockchain developer is really top profession as for now because lately there was huge demand on implementing of blockchain technologies. There were a lot of news on websites like: Newborn registry in Brasil via blockchain technologies, Some contracts with Bitfury regarding to BC integration, HSBC's huge interest in BC technologies, there are even more things. So demand on integration of blockchain technologies skyrockets daily while blockchain developers remain few, this is huge opportunity for people who are in information technologies to move on it and develop further.
2995  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 15, 2020, 10:22:01 PM
Has anyone ever? I think you are joking. Fortunejack is very well known on this forum. Only responses from us can't be enough to give you accurate imagination of top casinos. At some point number of replies in ANN threads of casinos can help you to determine it because for example PrimeDice has highest number of replies and is really one of the most famous dice website. To consider the number of replies and time frame, casino Stake is really on top positions too. You need to reset your list because there aren't a lot of very popular casinos included and for some reason you have 1xbit in your list, very well known scam casino.
2996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 15, 2020, 09:25:06 PM
I wouldn't say that these last months or this year in overall was bad for even daily trading because price rise/fall was common daily. It was like following: One day price was 9000, then 9500, then 9000, then 8500, then 8200 and then 8600 and so on, I take this numbers as an example. This is great opportunity for trader, such price movement is what attracts traders but of course it makes difficult to guess tomorrow's price, this could be the reason why some may say that profitable trading was difficult this month, at some point yes cause current price was making it extra hard to trade often (it was like 50/50 rise and fall) but it was great for holders, saw great price? Sell, wait for a while to see low one, did you see it? Then buy immediately and sell again when you'll see high price. This year was like that, pretty easy to catch not all but only good moments.
See so nice chart:
2997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 15, 2020, 08:07:31 PM
@LoyceV Hide your tools or Craig Wright will come and use them to prove that he has list of first 1000 bitcointalk user or something similar.
Btw it's very funny but the funniest thing is that Craig Wright is under crypto media's attention but the worst is that he is in Hot Stories.
Well, let's mention McAfee for a while, he and Craig share a lot of things in claiming but... McAfee states that Wright was part of creating of bitcoin (totally eleven people in group) but he says that Wright isn't satoshi and he knows who he is (but somehow doesn't seem to prove).
So finally I don't understand what's the aim, you can't build house with singing, you need action and this is the parallel of what Wright is doing. Anyone can provide list, his this action proves that he is joking again, jokes worse than baby and this thing is still official, it's really shame from court.
2998  Other / Meta / Re: What exactly needs to be entered in "website field" of the profile page? on: January 15, 2020, 02:05:23 PM
As I mentioned there was profile where I saw it was displayed telegram and on click it was a referral link I asked about that.
Was there a t.me link? If yes, then there is nothing wrong with it but please can you link us the profile to understand it better what you mean (if I am wrong)?
In overall you can feel free to enter any link you wish in your profile's website field. You can see this option on many website/forum and some people put their website's link in order to get backlink and improve seo. But for that purpose I think using of your signature will be better, it will index a lot of links with meta text (some of them may have PR 1 and higher) while your profile link may not be that much usable, I hugely doubt anyone will click on earth icon under your profile.

3000  Other / Meta / Re: Why does Bitcointalk not have a custom (specific) logotype? on: January 15, 2020, 01:34:07 PM
Web design, logo and overall look was never a priority of this forum. If you use web.archive.org then you'll see that website looks the same as it was years ago, the only difference is that there was merit and some features added, otherwise there is still place to enter your ICQ:AIM:MSN:YIM. Almost no one uses these communication methods right now. This website may needs rebranding (I still like it this way) and new forum software will be the result of that, after finishing working on that and already integrating with current one, they may be offer for logo from theymos on this website with good reward. But still better to get answer from him, hope he will post there.
