I don't fully understand the purpose behind this post. I also don't see why it's so important to rank up, it's not like you're getting free BTC with every upgrade. Maybe that's just me, but once you reach "Jr. Member" or "Member" rank and get private messages privilege does it even matter what rank you are? As your activity grows on the forum, your rank will also grow. That's just natural progression. Assuming your posts are helpful you will get merit along the way too.

Looks like we're on the way back to 40k after that flash crash. Props to those who bought around 34.5k. I didn't quite pull the trigger as I was hoping for the price to go down even further.
Wonder how long it will be till we see one of these dips again.

You can auction it off in this section with a reserve price you have in mind. Be sure to use a trusted escrow though when selling. Here's an ongoing auction for one of the Casascius coins from the same year: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5307335.0Perhaps post a picture of the front/back of the coin with your username as a proof that you indeed have possession of the coin and it's in mint condition. Thanks for the response, appreciated. I’ll need to research the trusted escrow topic as I have no clue how this works. Any pointers? ★LIST★ BitcoinTalk's ESCROW Providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠You can use this list to do more research on different escrow service providers here.

I haven't seen any of these around before. Upon some research I found this article from 2013 which explains some of the semantics behind this physical collectible. Very interesting. The QR code resolves to " http://bitcoldhardcash.com/ag" which shows the current price (in BTC) of 1 oz of silver which I am assuming this coin is made out of. The coin in the ebay listing seems like it hasn't been taken care of too well. Interesting piece of history nevertheless. I will be following your ebay listing. Interested in seeing how much it sells for.

Just leaving this here incase you don't find anyone buying at your given rate. I can complete this exchange for you at Bitstamp/Bitfinex rate with 5% in my favor. Payment can be via PayPal or Western Union.
I can do up to $1000 this week, and $1000 more after 15th of this month.

Hi folks, Does anyone here have one that they are looking to sell? Preferably looking for the small size. Or know of someone who I can buy it from. I see it's sold out on CryptoArt. Appreciate any leads. Thanks!

You will likely have to work with your exchange to up your withdrawal limit. Coinbase for instance only allows withdrawals up to $50,000 in a day and if you need to withdraw more you need to request an increase in limit. Once the limit is increased it should be no problem selling a few million worth of BTC and withdrawing the cash to your bank account.
Now whether you can trust an exchange or your bank to not lock you out of your funds due to some bogus reason, or how they handle the security of your funds is a different story.

Hi all, I am trying to restore this old 'wallet.dat' file that I found under an old backup and when I try to import it in Bitcoin QT (Windows) it keeps failing with this error: Strangely enough the file is saved under the name 'bitcoin.dat' which I think I might have renamed it to label it properly. The file is from 2012-2013 if that's of any help. And the file size is "80.0 KB (81,920 bytes)". Does anyone know how I can restore it? I also have a backup for an old Multibit wallet, file extension ".wallet" (Sized 137 bytes (137 bytes)). Which wallet can I use to restore it? I tried Googling a bit and none of the results I found were helpful. I am like 99% sure I already sweeped these a few years back and just want to make sure I am not leaving anything behind. Would appreciate any help on this.

Beautiful work. What are your prices like and where do you ship from?

This looks nice. Normally I use preev.com to check the current price and for conversions.
It would be nice if you add any other currencies but maybe only euro to start.
Mostly I also visit preev every day because it is the most popular one for years. Since I use chrome, one feature that I like from preev that hope you could implement on https://bitcoinprice.is/ is the price shown in the Tab-bar, as simple as that but really convenient to stay up to date even without having to click the tab to check the price. I prefer your site over preev though because it shows more than just the price. I am not quite sure what you mean by tab bar. Could you show me some example? He probably means the tab in Chrome. That's a great feature also. No matter which tab you are using, you always see the latest price. Ah, yes. Sure why not I've changed title to show price first. ~

Yep, if OP add this feature and the possibility to change the currency I would start using this one instead of preev. Maybe some more stats can be added to this project. The percentage of price change for the last 24h/7d/1month. Ability to change currency is coming next. Will probably work on it next week or the week after. More stats is also a possibility. % change in last 24h/7d/1month/1year should be easy to do. Will have to see what the best way would be to get historical price data. Adding more price sources like Bitstamp and Gemini is also in plans. Hopefully I can begin work on some of these in the next couple weeks.

Great collection you got there. Definitely puts mine to shame. As others mentioned it's worth adding Cas to the mix, and maybe Lealana too thanks Evilish i would also be interested in the collections of other users, and i don't care if it's big or small. it's just interesting what other users collect and find cool. would be really great if other users would also open their own collection thread I would love to see more of these kind of posts. Maybe one day I'll also post mine when I have it better organized. very nice - glad to see people posting their collections. I need to do one of these - once I take time to take pictures of everything :/
keep adding to it!
we're still waiting. 4 months and counting
