301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook's upcoming coin on: June 18, 2019, 04:26:42 AM
Ive read conflicting news concerning the upcoming facebook coin.  Ive read the project was called Libra and ive also read that the coin will be called Libra. Ive also read that the coin is going to be called globalcoin but there is already a globalcoin (GBC) created in 2012.  Wonder what the algo is going to be fore their new coin (whatever its name is) and is it going to be minable by GPU, CPU and Asic?
All is not final yet and they can change their name as long as it is still not in the market. The question here is not just about the name, but I think its more on what kind of services their offer. Facebook coin already works with uber i think, so it can be used for riding the uber.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 18, 2019, 12:02:23 AM
Offcourse who would want to disclose his information on a gambling site?
Yeah, that's why we keep looking for a gambling site who doesn't ask for KYC because we want to play anonymously and we also want to bet on this kind of system. I think many gambling site are already have this feature because they know that cryptocurrency is made for a decentralized market and that's why they respect the privacy of every gambler, this is a must for a crypto gambling site.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newest Slot Games Released This June 2019 on: June 17, 2019, 11:45:11 PM
It´s always good to see new games coming out. It´s a growing ecosystem, and I am happy to see many new games.
However most of them are games for kids, as you can see by the graphics... I think this number 2 is not even a gambling game,..?
Well, I miss playing my childhood game and I see the graphics is really nice and yes its good to see more games coming out because we can have more options. I see the fun on the slot games though its not that profitable but if you just want I think this is the suitable game for you.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: June 17, 2019, 11:30:00 PM

Gambling is beneficial for everyone

I'm sorry. How did you came to such a conclusion? I'm pretty sure that it is beneficial for some, fun for many, work for a good amount of people, and disaster also for a few on other side. Beneficial for everyone would not be banned by law in many countries.
Gambling is not beneficial for everyone not unless you own the casinos but if you are just a small gambler then I think its more on a burden to you. Gambling is banned because its too risky, and many gamblers becomes addict and take their life away. I think gambling should not be interpreted like this because that is a game of luck and its not that beneficial.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell All Altcoins For Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2019, 10:30:39 PM
I know bitcoin will go to the moon but i also believe on top altcoins because they are good to pump as well. I will not go all in for bitcoin, because i have to earn as much and through diversification it can be possible so better to invest more on many coins.
306  Local / Pilipinas / Re: $9k na ang Bitcoin on: June 17, 2019, 09:52:58 PM
I’m happy kase nakabalik na ulit si bitcoin sa $9k and sana tuloy tuloy na. Ang plano ko lang is to hold hanggang sa tumaas pa ang presyo, pero if needed na ng pera no choice but to sold my bitcoin. If we want to earn more then holding more bitcoin is good, wag kana manghinayang sa mga nasayang na araw, you still have time pa naman to invest.
307  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Kapa-Community Ministry Investment scam on: June 17, 2019, 12:52:03 PM
They have to kase nga pagaari paren sya ng KAPA, and for sure maraming assets pa ang naka freeze.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 17, 2019, 05:46:52 AM
That's not me. I don't gamble.

The only sites where I use the name "theymos" actively are bitcointalk.org, Reddit, and github. Anywhere else and it's probably not me.
This is the answer now, and you can lock the thread now.

Anyone can use the name of "THEYMOS", they can use it to scam people, to make fraud and to gamble. I have no that that they use the name of Theymos because its very popular in the world of cryptocurrency, well at least here in the forum. Anyway, anyone can gamble so this is not a serious topic.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty with large allocations make you profitable ?? on: June 17, 2019, 12:42:10 AM
Even with large bounty allocation, we cannot say that the project is profittable base on its allocation, still transparency of the project to becone successful is a factor for a profittable bounty project. Because some of huge allicated bounty can dump its token price after being listed.
Yeah, its useless even if they have huge bounty allocation if the projects fails its nothing. I don't mind joining a bounty with small allocation as long as its a good project that can give profit. Bounties is not profitable right now, they are still down and if you do look for a good Campaign, you must study before you join.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters risk on ERC20 tokens in ICO on: June 16, 2019, 11:04:50 AM
I don't know if everybody knows this, but there is now a risk in getting involved in ERC20 based ICO, and that is they are locking bounty hunters rewards after they've sent it to their bounty hunters,

So even if the coins are already sent to your wallet you really don't own it, because they can lock it anytime at their whims that's what happens to Dexage and Liker, they sent the tokens to their bounty hunters then lock it, so they will not dump, and will only unlock it maybe after they dump all their shares and run away.

what's your take on this bounty hunters?
That's a risk of being hunter, though of course you have nothing to lose but your time not unless you join the bounty and also you invest. We have to go for good bounties, but right now its hard to find it maybe when the price of bitcoin becomes good again, then good projects will come out and offer a good bounty reward. There are so many losses on the part of bounty hunters in the past months.
311  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [GUIDE] Ang Tamang Paggawa ng Isang Quality Thread for PH Local Board. on: June 16, 2019, 08:05:47 AM
Thanks for the guidelines and yes hinde talaga dapat basta basta gumagawa ng thread at dapat maging attractive hinde yung super haba na nung topic eh ang gusto mo lang pala tanungin kung paano bumili ng bitcoin. I’m not confident on making threads pero sana makaisip ako ng magagandang topic.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going up again. on: June 14, 2019, 07:46:34 AM
Bitcoin has now risen after a sharp decline last year, it is likely that prices will increase again if Bitcoin will do Halving in 2020, I am looking forward to Halving, because at that time it was the best moment of Bitcoin.
Many are so excited about that halving, and I'm also waiting for bitcoin to go beyond its ATH. Right now, its started to pump again at least a small pump after the correction maybe this is the start again. Bitcoin will keep on going up, many good news are on the headlines right now and I believe its about time to again to bring some noise in the world market.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: June 14, 2019, 05:24:41 AM
Applicable to newbies or who just learning how to gamble the first time, but not so for a long time players, they have already set up their own impulse and their own habit, they can take that advice  but the one that they are accustomed is the one that they are going to implement, as you can see you can't teach old dogs a new habit.
Newbies are prone to this because they can't control their emotion yet though those who gamble much also have a hard time to control their self. Any technique can have a good impact if you done it on the right way and if you don't want to get addict. Its too risky to gambler but if you do not care at all, then you will fall on the losing trap.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Royal ramble in the casino on: June 13, 2019, 09:55:01 PM
I have seen similar behavior alot on this section from gamblers who probably lost lots of money. Such behavior is most likely from the new and inexperienced gamblers. They need to be taught not to bet what they can't afford to lose.
As if they know how to listen to us, addiction its hard to be cure if the gambler itself reject the offer of the good people. A situation like this is very sad because of his emotion he becomes more aggressive, don’t be like a gambler who always go for an easy money and lose everything, control your emotion.
315  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Drug Syndicates using Bitcoin in Philippines on: June 13, 2019, 11:36:36 AM
Yes, kung meron lang tayo maitutulong why not diba?

Ipagpalagay natin bitcoin nga ginagamit ng drug syndicates for payment and yes not traceable because it is digital currency and how about the drugs through internet din ba? Trabaho na yan ng PDEA kung mahina intelligence makakapuslit talaga ang drugs sa ating bansa kahit free delivery pa yan patungo sa atin. And why they blame bitcoin on that such crime para masira ang image nito?

That's how they work, they will ruin bitcoin just to mislead the news.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Provably fair slots exist? on: June 13, 2019, 04:19:47 AM
I really like gambling on online slots, but I hate how none seem to be provably fair I have bet a good amount at Fortune Jack.
At first I assumed all the slots on fortune jack were provably fair because they advertise the website as such, but the slots are from providers so they are not or at least there is no way to verify it.
I also use tronbet slots, but its the same deal comes from providers not provably fair. Anyone know of any site with Provably fair slots at all?
I don’t think so, all the slots have the higher odds to the house and for sure its either 70% for them and 30% for the gamblers to earn profit so its really not fair. This is how gambling works with a great edge for the house, they make business to make profit so I don’t think there’s a fair slots at all.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019? on: June 13, 2019, 03:21:05 AM
I would say the opposite.  Now there are a large number of coins in which it is worth investing right now.  For example, the same ethereum, Litecoin, eos, ripple, and others.  It seems to me that this year belongs to them.
After a short correction now here we are again, altcoins are pumping and I really think its the year of pumping so if you do hold top altcoins then you're good. Yes, the coins that you've said already made a good run early this year but I would like to add BNB because the hype is still high on that coin which continues to grow.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 13, 2019, 02:15:58 AM
I was surfing for some old news articles. In that time, I have came across one news article.

Australian died after his 13 hours gambling with nothing in his hands last.

Check here. https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/105184715/gary-went-on-a-13hour-gambling-binge-he-died-with-nothing-left

Really sad, please do not get upset in gambling investment. Simple, take it as easy game not worthy than your life...

Its very unhealthy, though most of the gamblers can play beyond that time and for sure most of them already experience to play whole day. This is the reason why Casinos are inside the Hotel because in case the gamblers need to rest they will just checked-in on the hotel inside. This is a poor result of being too addict in gambling, sad to hear that news.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain for voting on: June 13, 2019, 01:53:21 AM
I highly doubt blockchain technology will be used for voting on the third world countries. I hate to say that but governments are not there for help and they are bigger than any threat against the current development of bitcoin.
Its hard to be used because of the corrupt politicians they will block this propaganda for the sake of their power. Imaging having a clean election is very rare especially in a developing country. Blockchain technology will never be part of the voting system, they have to look for a way to cheat it so let's not think about that.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the ROI for a stable coin? on: June 12, 2019, 11:56:16 PM
Maybe a silly question, but if the concept of a stable coin is to maintain market cap (i.e. coin price) by dynamically altering the supply and/or demand. (e.g. Tether, Ampleforth) then what is the potential for a return on investment?  For example, if USDT is always about $1 what's the upside of investing in it if the price never goes up?

Stable coins still pump and dump a little, so you ROI will depend on the market situation and will always depend on your target. If a stable coin doesn’t move that much, then expect a little ROI since its a low risk of holding. If its never goes up, then no profit at all simple as that.
