302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA BACK IN THE GAME? 24.2% isn't too bad on: January 24, 2018, 09:40:53 PM
Am i reading this correctly and why not posted here before?

Or not as clear as it seems?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/s-korea-to-tax-crypto-exchanges-242-percent-in-line-with-existing-tax-policy

i guess now anon accounts are banned the individual will be taxed as income or cgt

looks like they are back in the game anyway

china next?

better than a blanket ban right ... or not?

Is this not a good thing i see many see it as a negative announcement?

Despite how negative this news might look, it means that adoption of crypto is going huge. Other countries will follow suit and try to tax exchanges. It is only a matter of time before the crypto market become stable
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 24, 2018, 09:37:07 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?

I love the vision and road map of Ethereum and it is not because of ICOs that Ethereum seems to get a high value in price. It is what Ether is going to be in future that is making so many enthusiast to hodl

305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: January 24, 2018, 09:32:11 PM
Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response

I suggest you look at the top 100 alt coins and invest in one that you understand so well because there are so many alt coins and so many projects in the crypto space. Asking for investment advice isn't the best.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can be addictive!! on: January 24, 2018, 09:30:05 PM
I'm a newbie and have been into crypto for a couple of months now.  I must say the advice from other members about not checking trades too often is very good.  One can become obsessed with it, and I think the thrill of the "win" can be quite addictive.  Similarly that depressed feeling when the world is "red" can be deflating as well.  There must be a "happy" medium, if one is to maintain a balanced life.

You have got the best advice. The market can be so crazy and manipulated so it is best to reduce the rate at which you check trades. It is best you hodl for a long term and then exist when the value of your investment go really high
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange on: January 24, 2018, 09:27:21 PM
Hi,

I want to earn interest on my coins (BTC,ETH,LTC) therefore I prefer to leave these in Exchange for funding purpose, however I have No plan to sell or exchange with other coin in near future.

I always keep my withdrawal blocked by changing password every 5th day.

Is it 100% safe to keep crypto's in exchange like Bitfinex or others with withdrawal locked ?

It is not safe at all to keep your crypto in exchanges. No matter how many times you change your password, you are not in charge of your private keys. Your account could be hacked even with your password. Put your funds where you have absolute control. Hardwallet etc
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: January 24, 2018, 09:21:33 PM
Which alt coins are below $1 value that gonna turn in $10 next year.

Need your best suggestion

If you are looking for a coin that will grow in value, you should check lala token, Storiqa and 3dcoin, they have the potential to be $10 dollar by this  year. They have got a great roadmap and solve real issues
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: January 23, 2018, 08:43:13 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks

I suggest your hodl as you might cash out too early and then regret it. There are so many FUD affecting the market like regulators banning exchanges and government trying to force taxes on exchanges
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END is NEAR! on: January 23, 2018, 08:37:16 PM
Yes, the END of cheap, great quality crypto is NEAR.

Once Amazon.com adopts crypto, the masses will fully awaken, and will come pouring in. Get your crypto now, my timeline says in February Amazon will launch something MAJOR, and this article supports my conclusion:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-01-22/could-amazon-be-gearing-cryptocurrency-exchanges

Once the largest American online retailer fully supports crypto, the FUD will no longer be as effective in tanking the markets.... you will never again see a time to buy such great quality crypto.

Of course, this is expected from Amazon. No matter how they try to downplay cryptocurrency , they can't deny the fact that crypto is getting huge adoption and also there are other players who are going to be huge  competition like Storiqa and Cbay
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: January 23, 2018, 08:29:12 PM
More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.

Not all airdrops are bad, there are some legit airdrops in the market. The key thing is to doing your research before you signup.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts or Fiat? on: January 23, 2018, 08:19:24 PM
Better to weather the storm in BTC, ETH, . if bearish on the whole market then .

There is no guarantee when it comes to investing in altcoins. Sure it might be bearish but it is going to turn bullish.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me please!!!! on: January 23, 2018, 07:59:27 PM
Hi

I did a lot of airdrop and bounties.
but i do not get tokens. Who can help me with

This is strange but i would like to know which of the airdrops and bounties that you participated because it is strange that you have not gotten tokens
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hi everyone! on: January 23, 2018, 07:56:46 PM
Hi,

I'm pretty new to crypto but it's been all over the news lately so I thought I would dip a toe into the water. I joined up to meet others who might be a bit more in the know than me. Im worried I may have jumped in on a downswing but my friends tell me thats only temporary in the world of crypto. I was thinking I might try ICO's but not sure where to look or even where to start! Is this in your opinion a good place to start? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

This is the way the market behaves; filled with ups and down . One thing you will learn is that the market is crazy and highly manipulated. So dont worry.

For ICOs, you should pick a project that you understand and have a clear understanding of the roadmap
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: January 23, 2018, 07:46:42 PM
What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.

What should I do now? I am very worry about it.

Dont be worried. Those who are scared of their investments are cashing out early and this is the way the market is. I suggest you hold and be patient so you don't miss out
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rule of 8 - A TRUE HODLER...! on: January 23, 2018, 07:44:30 PM
This is the rule of 8 as regards the Cryptoworld,

Rule 1: A True HODLer Does Not Sell Their Coin.
Rule 2: A True HODLer Buys the Dip.
Rule 3: A True HODLer Remains Steadfast In Spite of FUD.
Rule 4: A True HODLer Keeps Their Coins Off Exchanges and Online Wallets.
Rule 5: A True HODLer Buys Goods and Services With Their Coin.
Rule 6: A True HODLer Spreads the Good Word.
Rule 7: A True HODLer Does Not Get FOMO When Another Coin Rises.
Rule 8: A True HODLer Will Run Their Own Full Node.

Do you guys agree with these rules?

Well this looks more like an opinion but i agree with most of them but at one point a Hodler will sell his coin for profit. He cant hold it forever
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are the furture on: January 22, 2018, 02:59:19 PM
Hello people,

As 2017 is coming to end, I want to know what exactly cryptocurrencies hold for us in 2018. I believe that cryptocurrencies have future. What do you think?

Cryptocurrencies are the future because they enable to have control of our finances and people can do business all over the world without any barrier . The market is still in the infant stage and will occur.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why 99% Alt Coin Will Fail? A Case Study on: January 22, 2018, 02:49:17 PM
Well, Recently I have noticed Alt coin market saturated, If you visit the Alt coin announcement or bounty, you will notice every hour, there is a new coin announcement.

So my question is, how many % of those new alt coin survive in long run? let's say 1 year? 2 years? or even 5 years?

99% of them will fail within first year. Here's why:

1. People making millions of crypto currency, we can make it, lets make a coin.
2. People have no idea, what they are getting in, and how to run a company or organization.
3. People wants easy money.
4. No reputable organization or company behind the idea.
5. Most of people under 25, wanaa be entrepreneur, without any background or knowledge.
6. Most of the alt coin start with ICO, expecting to collect millions of dollar from it, without any capital.
7. How many new alt coin company can run of 20 to 25 dev team? not many.
8. Without zero marketing idea, or how to market the coin.
9. When coin price doesn't go up in couple of months, they give up.
10. If we can list on exchanges, we will get rich!

And list goes on... Post your opinion, why 99% alt coin will fail?

The rest of 1% Alt coin will survive beyond 2020 because >
1. They have a purpose and ambition.
2. They don't go after money, rather working hard to maintain back end.
3. Strong Development team, who knows what they are doing.
4. Keeping touch with social media, updating every move and letting investors know, they are in good hand.
5. Trust factor, you have to show that public will trust you.
6. Regularly have conference, at least twice a year and update investor, what's going on.
7. A clear road map, and actually follow it.
8. Thinking long term.
9. Hire actual marketing people rather than depends on this forum only.
10. There are million of people who doesn't use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you have to learn how to reach them.
11. Stop depending on Social media, We all know 70% people use social media is under 25 and they are student. They are not investor.
12. Try to connect your coin with any company, or organization, no matter how small it is.
13. Go slow, don't worry about your price, worry about your project and stability.
14. Hire online entrepreneur or even a YouTube star, if your audience is young and target market under 25.

I can go on and on but these are my opinion to be a successful in this field.

I believe that the crypto market is the infant stage where everyone thinks that they can make their dreams come true like children. There will come a time when people would learn the best practices when it comes to investment and ICOs will adjust because they will need to provide better value for investors.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: January 22, 2018, 02:46:17 PM
Hello people, i'm new in the crypto worlds , i have two questions please i need logic answers .

1 - will mining will ever stop Huh?

2 - what will happens when the cryptocurrency reaches it limits ( example : bitcoin 21M , ETH .... , and other curriencies ) ? will they win money after the currencies reaches its limits ?

thank you !

Minning will not stop because there are other coins that you can mine. Also when Bitcoin and Ethereum reach their cap, maybe they will be scarce but this does not mean that the world will end. There will be other coins
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Alts In Red Again? on: January 22, 2018, 02:17:06 PM
2-3 Days back we saw the huge dip in all cryptos, later market recovered a little bit but right now market is in red again!

Sure the market is in its correction stage and lets face it some of the altcoins don't solve any problem so it is not surprising that they are losing value. However, this is the best time to but the great coins that are making a difference
