301  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: November 06, 2017, 12:40:56 AM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley

My way to spreading my knowledge about bitcoin is to posting and when I was meet a person that have an account here in bitcoin I want to talking to him/her because I want to help him/her about in bitcoin. I share my knowledge by talking to other people that have an account here in bitcoin so we became friends.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 04, 2017, 01:12:30 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

For me, the bitcoin is money. Why? because the bitcoin helps me to earned money by posting and the money I earned in bitcoin I keep it and gave it to my family to help them in their daily expenses or daily needs. I used bitcoin not also in earning money also I used bitcoin to buy my needs like foods, shirts and my tuition. I coincide my studies and my bitcoin. I have a time in studying my lessons and I have time in posting here in bitcoin.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 11:38:47 PM
What do you say when asked this question from a friend who has only heard its name mentioned a few times in the news and has no clue. I find myself lately taking the easy way out and suggesting google. I would prefer to give a clearer answer, but usually saying something leads to more questions and more confusion.
If someone could point me to a twitter type answer that would inform and twig their curiosity, i think it would be a better outcome.

For me, The bitcoin is my job, my hobby and my income. I used bitcoin to earned money and practice my skills in english language. The money I earned here in bitcoin I gave it to my family to helps them in their daily needs or daily expenses, They used the money to pay our  bills like electricity, water and in our apartment. The bitcoin is very important to me because the bitcoin is my source of income for me.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 31, 2017, 05:15:08 AM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

I don't know when bitcoin ends but some people using bitcoin knows. For me, there is a chance that the bitcoin will down, because the other government against in the bitcoin. They try to ban the bitcoin in other countries. I don't know why the other countries against the bitcoin but I think they against bitcoin because the bitcoin affects the people to be lazy in their work.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: October 31, 2017, 04:19:23 AM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

The bitcoin is very expensive because if you buy an account here in bitcoin you earned more money than you spent on buying an account here in bitcoin. It is difficult to have your own bitcoin account because there are so many process to create an account. God bless.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 03:36:10 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

Some people used bitcoin for their income but some people they use bitcoin to spend their time in good things like bitcoin. My friend told me that bitcoin is very important because of bitcoin his life is very comfortable and his family. He helps his family using bitcoin. He gave money to his family for their daily expenses like foods, bills and daily needs.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 31, 2017, 01:57:39 AM
Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.

We don't know how long the bitcoin stay alive or survive. Like me im a newbie here in bitcoin so i don't know how long the bitcoin survive. The other country try to banned the bitcoin in their country because they think that the bitcoin is affecting the people to became lazy in their life but their belief is not true about bitcoin.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 01:57:32 PM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.

My biggest regret in bitcoin when I my friend did'nt get his money so we did not pay and when my new account is banned because I did not followed the interval. My friend pay me by posting in his bitcoin because my account get banned so i decided to talk to him to work his account but he did'nt pay me. I try to talk to him to create me another account.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: October 30, 2017, 01:23:39 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

The bitcoin is not supported in some countries because they don't want to became lazy the citizens in their country. Why some countriese banned bitcoin? Because they don't want to became the citizens lazy. If you have a account in bitcoin you can earned money by posting so the other countries didn't support the bitcoin or crypto.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 30, 2017, 12:19:26 PM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?

I did not buying any account here in bitcoin, because my friend gave me an account here in bitcoin. I don't want to buy bitcoin because I know my friend give me some accounts so that I can earned money by posting and the bitcoin is became my hobby to spend my time to meaningful things like bitcoin.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 04:55:11 AM
I personally know quite a bit about Bitcoin. However, this thread is for the community here. The idea is every post should contain NEW info which hasn't previously been posted in this thread.

For example, I will start with the obvious: Bitcoin is internet money

Is this a perfect explanation? Of course not. This is where you come in.

Please post the most detailed aspects about Bitcoin you know, without repeating any info previously posted in this thread.

The idea is as we scroll down, the discussion should get continually more complicated as we dig further into the technology, development, history, etc.

    Make sense?

So I will repeat the starting point: Bitcoin is internet money

For me the bitcoin is my past time or hobby because when im bored i post here in bitcoin. The other people think to the bitcoin is money, but not only money are the topic here in bitcoin.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 27, 2017, 06:57:42 AM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

We didnt know when the bitcoin ends because many people knows the bitcoin and also the government. The country government try to ban the bitcoin in their country i dont know why they want to ban the bitcoin.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 10:40:31 AM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

I think that bitcoin in banned by other countries, because they think that the bitcoin is unfair to other people that work hard for money, For me the bitcoin is not bad but the government says bad because they want to be equal to other people. Other people work hard but bitcoin is very easy to earn money so they think that the bitcoin is unfair.
314  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the Causes of Depression? on: October 25, 2017, 10:19:46 AM
The Depression sometimes  runs in families and may be due to heredity, learned behavior or both. Even with a genetic predisposition, it is usually a stressful or unhappy life event that triggers the onset of a depressive episode. While the exact causes of depression are unknown, several factors appear to affect its onset!

The causes of depressions for me are the following:  so many problems, effect of bullying, effect of some one hurt our feelings mostly in the couples. The other couples when they have an argument some of them suicidal is the solution in their problem .
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: October 23, 2017, 11:05:57 AM
    why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

I think the problem why some country banned the bitcoin because they do not like the people in their country to become lazy, so they ban the bitcoin in their country. They banned the bitcoin in their country to be fair in other people to their country
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 22, 2017, 02:56:47 PM

318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: October 12, 2017, 03:25:25 PM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy

My first expirience to the bitcoin my friend told me at first you should read about article about bitcoin for easily posting other topic that i didnt know. His advice is very effective. I encounter topic that I do not understand because I am a beginner his advice helps me because when I encounter a topic that I did not understand, i recall to the article that I read it helps me to understand what the topic is.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: October 12, 2017, 12:55:03 PM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

    Please share your dreams!

My dream in bitcoin is to be a Jr. member. My friend told me if I'm a hardworking, I earn more money. My friend told me that I need to be a jr. member to earn more money. I work hard because I need to help my parents in our daily expenses or daily needs because my parents getting older so I need to work hard to be a jr member and to help my parents.
