301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee Trading? on: September 05, 2018, 09:22:30 AM
On your strategy, you might need some volume, to get your orders done right?
Look at this list https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/no-fees/ and find your suited site in terms of volume, security and security protocols. What I mean with security protocols are like "Are their minimum or maximum withdrawal amount" or do you need to do KYC(Know your customer) things like that so you could move your money if there are problems regarding that exchange
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: September 05, 2018, 08:53:01 AM
I think this is the main idea, which unfortunately is missed by everyone, even experienced traders. differently about it saying that we should not be greedy.

This is a money game and everyone is here to be rich, and the fact that they could earn 1000% of their initial investment and still not enough for them, I think there is something wrong for the mentality itself.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: September 02, 2018, 01:21:22 AM
In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. Dont wait till the market price is 95%+ before you sell. That only happens when you got your eyes glues to your machine 24/7. Dont be greedy... Make a little profit and grow it over time. Cryptomarket is growing and full of terror! Be careful

Locking your profits up when you got 20% gain form your investment is really great, it already increased your initial capital and I think that is more important as an investor or trader. Also set your stop losses so you won't lose your profits.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: August 28, 2018, 03:26:59 PM
In my very own experienced there is no good outcome when you HODL too much.
First of all do you know what HODL means?
HODL is used when referring to hold the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading, for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.
I suggest that all in the Crypto community must learn the basic trading fundamentals. There are free tutorials anywhere. Don’t be lazy, think big.

Maybe you just take "HODL" literally. At the first place, holding has it's limits and it's way undeniably better than day trading (for me) because you didn't need to sweat out for profits, you just buy a POTENTIALLY good coin the sell it on profits. There has limits and when you hit those limits then you could sell your "HODL" coin.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic Attitude on: August 26, 2018, 07:33:24 AM
You are the man. If you look that everything could be better(which is true) while you are really down(Like 90% like most of us) then you got that feeling of a trader. Denying the fact that you are on loss and still trading after 90% loss, you are a great trader.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Massive loss 40% underwater on: August 26, 2018, 05:27:37 AM
Your situation is kinda bad. Having losses and making wrong decisions that makes you lose even more and have nothing to do with it, that is trading. Being new here and don't have the appetite to survive those things would creep you out losses after losses after losses. I would suggest you to go HODL and chill, trading is really hard, hodling is just another way of saying "Investment".
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: August 24, 2018, 02:07:17 PM
Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?

I also felt the same way and it pisses me off making me emotional on my recent trades that is making me more pissed. Maybe I need to chill a little bit in order to work longer next time. We need composure and that is what we didn't have right now.

I feel you there. I guess it's because we know it's our money. We are dedicated to what we do and we do want to make it right. Don't worry, things seem to become a bit brighter knowing, that it's all of us feeling this way .. Smiley

Exactly! You nailed it. Money is the word, it's our money and we won't screw it up but it screw us in exchange. Initially, money is working for us so why is this happening?   Grin

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Magazine on: August 24, 2018, 12:35:22 PM
Great initiative. This is probably a new and easier way to access trends about the crypto industry and for me as a user, I wanted the information I read to be reliable and unbias for me to believe and also subscribe on your channel. Hope you could build that up and be a reliable trendsetter in the future.
309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [ASK] The price of bitcoin to always decrease? on: August 24, 2018, 12:29:52 PM
What causes the price of bitcoin to always decrease? If the price goes up just a little later falls again, and will bitcoin when december go up or even fall deeper?

Hopes are high with bitcoin but as the time goes by it always decreases without any reasons, maybe manipulation? Who knows, but as we can see and if this could happen continuously even after the ETF decision, maybe we could see 10$ btc on 2020.
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Portfolio management. Rebalancing. on: August 24, 2018, 12:06:31 PM
The idea of "Rebalancing" is pretty great and the benefit of getting an average gains for your portfolio is assured but the thing is there are certain updates/news(FA) of those holdings that might take your profits away. Like the next day listing or burn that causes a massive price hike for that holding but you already sold it to average down your losses buying other coins on your portfolio, those scenarios might be rare but it happens. All I see in this "Rebalancing" method professionalism which I would prefer to do when I wanted to get in the sphere longer and avoid any losses than hitting huge profits.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN UPDATE AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: August 24, 2018, 11:52:30 AM
The SEC’s decision to delay their ruling on a Bitcoin ETF has understandably made news headlines as cryptocurrency traders and investors alike await the verdict in anticipation.

It has been stated that this recent drop in BTC price is attributed to this decision but it is our view that it was going to happen anyway.

Back in July the $8,400 could not hold and since then, we have been in a steady decline. This is what happens in markets of all types.

As stated in my previous post, $7,129 could not hold and we are still expecting price to go lower, possibly hitting the $6,770 level, although BTC is currently flirting with $6,840 and is meeting some resistance there. It was at this price point which triggered the recent BTC bounce.

At this moment, I didn't know why people is selling but I could determine that there is uncertainty that makes them sell on a lower price at a huge loss. At the moment of writing, bitcoin is traded at "$6,579.06" which is pretty near on your prediction and is expected to get lower because of the delayed final results for those 9 ETF's which is initially denied. We'll see how this could play but more of this, would be denied again and that would hurt, A LOT.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin suitable for swing trade ? on: August 22, 2018, 05:03:38 AM
I'm swing trading in the classic markets.
Just want to know your experience in swing trading Bitcoin during Bull Market and Bear Market.
Thanks for your participation!

Bitcoin is undeniable ideal for any kind or ways of trading, maybe because it has more than 50% of the marketcap ($100Billion+) and is paired with other cryptocurrencies in almost all of the exchanges. Bitcoin is not far from classic markets, it's just too volatile and having a shaky situation where ETF's is the judge
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: August 20, 2018, 09:05:38 AM
That is what most of the community sees and it's quite disappointing to see. Like if the ICO price is 1.5$ then it would drop to 0.08$ (Im not saying it's SRN) and after a spike like 10%, most of the members go insane and saying moon for about 100x which is not true, it's only a recovery, a recovery that is far far from it's original price. Please use your words better, it's not good that you always shill for 10% recovery
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: August 19, 2018, 12:13:21 PM
I think you are a good description of an investor. An investor that is open to losses and looking forward for the future of his investments, not a trader, not a trader that always want to buy on the dip and sell on peak. Great choice mate, you have a strong hand.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell your coins? on: August 18, 2018, 02:13:03 PM
I sell my coins for fiat and there is nothing wrong with that because fiat still rule the world. Bitcoin and ethereum is rarely accepted here on our place for even I am selling on a loss, I think that is still fine. When the time comes that crypto could be globally adapted as a financial service then there is no need for fiat LOL
316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share your trading experiences? on: August 18, 2018, 01:03:51 PM
A word of advice from me who always lose my money on trading, I suggest that you just treat trading as a game, don't let your emotions decide on what you are doing because market changes every second and If you let your emotions rule when you are trading then you'll get rekt. I could say this by being angry when I miss the peak or the bottom and that is not good, paralyzing me and making me compensate the loss which ends up with another loss. Just chill, treat this as a game you are willing to learn on.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Received First Bounty Rewards on: August 18, 2018, 11:53:23 AM

First bounty rewards.... I got my first airdrop more profitable but from bounty, I first got Authorship (ATS) which I hodl long (4mos.) and got about 1,000$ when I sell it from it's peak. Now I don't have any news about that project for the team is not professional enough to handle the project and fulfill the roadmap.

Loyalcoin is one of the best for me...

website:
https://loyalcoin.io/

telegram:
https://t.me/LoyalCoin

exchange:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=LYL_BTC

I upvote for this one (seriously). They have a great team and good project that fit for the use of blockchain, not that necessary but they imply a real blockchain use case, though I'm not sure that they could go 100x but I'm pretty sure this coin would be profitable.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Сoin that will go to the moon>? on: August 18, 2018, 11:45:36 AM
Hard to tell. If I would be able to tell you that specific coin then no doubt we could be billionaires regarding that 10,000% rally. Are you serious about this post? Im gonna tell you that you should watch out for bitconnect
