301  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your goals in 2018? on: November 21, 2017, 02:28:46 PM
Hello guys,

Currently many people buy and hold crypto currencies for many reasons.

It will be interesting to share your goals in 2018.

Mine would be to make 20,000$ profit then I would take back my initial investment plus half of the profit. The remaining half will be used for re-investment.

How's about your goal and plan?

In 2018, I have many many goals. Because in 2017 my mind become open in business specially in bitcoin. The knowledge that I know in 2017 is very useful therefore I will use it in 2018 to have become my goals come true. (like my dreams come true) One of my goals is have a bitcoin. Have more more bitcoin specially now that price of it is increasing. I am hoping that it will become $10,000 soon. HAHAHA I am so very very excited. So guys I suggest to you that if you use your bitcoin make sure that it will increase, not decrease.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: November 18, 2017, 03:49:38 PM
Hello everyone, recently there has been a lot of panic on this forum due to the big price change of Bitcoin (as it always happens). Understandably, many people are confused and worried as they have lost thousands in their value, especially if they have bought higher than the current price. But as someone who has been into Bitcoin for 1.5 years (not too long, I know) I want to advice to newcomers to simply relax. Huge price swing were always a part of Bitcoin, so there's nothing extraordinary here and the worst thing you can do is to make panic trades. Basically, there are two main approaches to Bitcoin trading - you either hodl it, meaning you never sell it until it reached "the moon", or you are actively trading it to get profit from volatility. So, if you believe in Bitcoin's technology and don't experience as a trader, I suggest you to not touch your coins - Bitcoin always tends to increase in its value in the long run.

My advice for those newbies in bitcoin is make sure that if you already have bitcoin you must have a bitcoin wallet. There is so many bitcoin walley just search on google or in playstore. In my country the most popular bitcoin wallet is coins.ph. The admin of that walley is very polite and have a good service so if you are here in Phillipines I suggest to you to try coins.ph as you bitcoin wallet. After that if you want to invest you bitcoin ask someone who is EXPERT in bitcoin that have also a bitcoin. Don't ask anybody who don't know a lot from bitcoin because maybe if they know it, they will have an interest to your bitcoin. Don't trust anyone.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 07:28:03 AM

Many people become a better life because of bitcoin, bitcoin is one of the ways to earn money and have a better life. So I suggest to you to buy now bitcoin before its price will become $10,000 soon.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 02:58:39 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

People use bitcoin because it is the top crypto currency that the value is increasing. And they knew that there is so many things that can do with bitcoin. And it is easy and faster way, 'cause you can invest bitcoin in any websites that is true. And you can use it also in trading, so that it will become bigger and higher. And one reason also is bitcoin is a TAX FREE, so that there is no charge if you use bitcoin.
305  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 11, 2017, 05:51:44 PM
Which one suits you the most?

In my country the best online wallet to use is coins.ph because the admin of the coins.ph is so very active if you have a question and you ask them they will answer it as fast as they can. And coins.ph have a strong security snd you make sure that your btc or peso or money is safe from the hackers.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 11, 2017, 03:53:02 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

There is so many different things between bitcoin and real money. The bitcoin is a crypto currency the is so famous now a days because the price of it is increasing while the price of real money is permanent and can't change. And bitcoin is a TAX FREE so that many countries didn't accept bitcoin for them because they know that it don't have a tax while real money have a tax that government need for their funds or project in their city or country.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day trade bitcoins on: November 10, 2017, 08:38:58 AM
Does anyone on here day trade and if so do you have a strategy?  I admit I'm extremely tempted at times to day trade when i see swings of 50-100 within a very short time.

Trading bitcoin everyday is one of the WAYS to earn more bitcoin. Trading is very useful or easy way to increase your bitcoin. Everyday or every week the bitcoin price change, sometimes up and sometimes down. But usually it goes up, it will increase and increase because many people using bitcoin for their life. Like what I said, bitcoin have many ways it to earn and it have many things to do with bitcoin.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 10, 2017, 01:53:34 AM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

In saving your bitcoin for your children is a good way to have them a better future. 'Cause we know that bitcoin have a many thing or ways to earn money in easy ways. Like investing, trading, payment, or other thing that you can do with bitcoin. So if you have now a bitcoin, seek information on how your bitcoin increase. Make sure that if you use your bitcoin, it will increase not decrease and also it will not gone. Because everybody want bitcoin, because bitcoin can be the way to have a good life and your dream come true.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 08, 2017, 12:43:39 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

For me, bitcoin will never end as long as there is many people sti using bitcoin. There is so many things to do with bitcoin, it can be use in payment, trading, investment, and other transaction. And it is not too late to invest im bitcoin, as long as you have money or you affort to buy bitcoin. Buy now, because soon the bitcoin will become bigger and bigger. Like what I said a while ago, bitcoin will never down because of the people still using bitcoin.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: November 08, 2017, 03:49:15 AM
Now that I've gotten your attention, I promise there's a method to my madness. We've all been arguing over Bitcoin XT and (now) Bitcoin Classic while ignoring that there's a real world outside of Bitcointalk and the endless schemes to get more Bitcoin. In the grand scheme of things, it's not even really all that important whether Bitcoin stands a chance of destroying traditional banks as long as Bitcoin or whatever replaces Bitcoin if it stumbles can carve out its own niche. But we're marching toward a world where things are going to be moving pretty fast in matters that don't necessarily have to do with economics and finances, except for maybe who's going to be holding the moneybags. Is it going to be us, or is it going to be the big banks, or is it going to be some Third World tyrant who may have gotten a little too big for his britches and doesn't have a graceful way out? What I'm getting at here is, are we absolutely sure we're making all the right strategic moves to make sure cryptocurrencies have a meaningful, sustainable future instead of just being seen as a funny little gimmick that went the way of Beanie Babies in a few decades? Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals? This is something we'll have to consider if we want Bitcoin to have any kind of a future.

Yes bitcoin even have a future. We all know that some countries legalized bitcoin as payment. And also some online shops or website. And we are hoping that it will becom3le legalize in the whole world. If that tine come, people who using bitcoin will become super happy. Why? Because there is so many things that can do in bitcoin, and it have a easy and faster transaction like payment, trading, investment, etc. And it is TAX FREE. So that, I can say bitcoin have a future.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: November 06, 2017, 01:08:53 PM
When will the youtube and other websites start to pay us with bitcoin?

For me, I think youtube, lazada or other websites will start to pay us with bitcoin if they have now a large number of bitcoin. Maybe they earning bitcoin because they know that the value of this is increasing. Then if they have now a large amount, maybe that is the time where they will now start paying us with bitcoin.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is the Year for Bitcoins.... on: November 06, 2017, 11:55:44 AM
I was browsing for news in bitcoins last week when I got intrigue with this title in an news article.  In deed, the biggest test for bitcoins in this year for there are a lot of scares with its operations.  There has been issues with its legal basis as China and South Korea has halted their exchange operations.  The all time low bitcoin value then the sudden increase of its worth... It has been a roller coaster... but thankfully it survive and here we are...

I think yes, because for me it is the year where bitcoin become accepted to some countries and websites as payment. It is the year where the number of people using it is increasing until now. For the people who using bitcoin many years, they see this year as "The Beginning of Bitcoin" because it will become legalize to some places in the world. And they sre hoping that it will become legalize in the whole world.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 03, 2017, 12:31:23 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

As I expected, the bitcoin price will increase. And we are hoping that soon it will become bigger and higher. I suggest that encourage your friends to try now the bitcoin therfore sooner or later theh will know a lot from bitcoin and maybe if they have a moneh, they may invest or trade their money in bitcoin.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 02, 2017, 08:37:53 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

Yes bitcoin is money. Bitcoin is a crypto currency. Bitcoin is an online money. But it can be a money in the real world. You can convert bitcoin as moneh. A dollar, peso, or other kinds of money that you want. The use of bitcoin is to buy thing in online. You can used bitcoin to buy some new things or gadgets or foods also. Some countries accept bitcoin as payment. Therefore you don't need to convert it as money.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: November 01, 2017, 04:43:05 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?

In the future the bitcoin will become bigger and higher. And the number of people using bitcoin will increase because for now it become popular. In social media you can see now about bitcoin. And some entrepreneur using bitcoin hoping that someday bitcoin become legalize to the world because bitcoin is tax free.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 01, 2017, 12:35:38 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

For me, bitcoin after 5 years will very rich. Its value will increase and increase. Its value will become bigger and higher as long as there is so many people still used bitcoin. And we are hoping that sfter 5 years the number of people using bitcoin will increase too. Therefore, there is possibility that after 5 years bitcoin will become $10000.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable? on: October 31, 2017, 01:23:05 PM
Now everyone is investing heavily on Bitcoin. But can anyone hack this Bitakayena? If Bitcoin means hacks, then there will be a lot of damage. Where is Bitcoin's hidden security?

Yes, bitcoin is hackable because it is in a online system. So if you have a simple online wallet maybe it can hack easily. I suggest to you to find now an online wallet that have a strong security to protect your bitcoin from the hackers. If you sure now that your bitcoin is safe, your bitcoin now is safe from the bad peoples.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 31, 2017, 08:56:30 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

Yes it is really risky to turn ALL your money into bitcoin. You may turn SOME of you money not ALL. Bitcoin is volatile. Its value is sometimes increase and sometimes decrease. Be wise in handling your money. Think before you invest. Think before you go. Think before you click.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 02:39:29 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

The one thing you need to do to those people who don't like bitcoin is ignore them. Because if you argu with them there is nonsense thing you are doing, specially if their minds are close in a business. But if they are open-minded in business, you may teach them or give them some knowledge about bitcoin. Therefore, their mind will enlighten to bitcoin.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 08:49:28 AM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

Some government ban bitcoin because they knew that it has no tax. Bitcoin is tax free. And government needs taxes as their funds for their projects in the city. So, if they approved or accept bitcoin in their country, where they will get a funds? Where they will get a moneh for their projects? They need tax, they need money so that they didn't accept bitcoin.
