I somehow missed this Cyberweek offer from HF. What do you thing about this guys? After the extended Halloween offer this just looks like another attempt to attract some fresh money. With a high demand there is no need to create such a campaign. I have only a small contract with them but I hope to get one payout before this goes bust.

In Which  3gb gtx 1060 card I have the biggest chance to get a samsung oraz micron memory  ? I Heard about asus. Is it true ?

I recently bought a Gigabyte and Zotac card, the GB had Samsung the Zotac Hynix. Both 2 samples barely qualify for any statistic. Only thing I can say is that on more than 10 Gigabyte cards I bought I never had Hynix memory - always Samsung or Micron.

I got a 3gb gigabyte WF2OC with Hynix.  Check on the serial number should start with 16xx or 17xx.  The first two digits is the year and XX is the week.  The earlier batches of 2017 might still have micron or samsung but not the newer ones imo.

Interesting I will check that on my samsung card Smiley

The 1060 I have is from 1741 so late 2017 - quite surprising that it has samsung memory. I have a 1070 with samsung memory and that one is from late 2016. Maybe someone found some old memory stocks in the factory Cheesy

Cryptopia is working like a charm for me. I bought BTX multiple times and wired it also multiple times to my wallet, everything was behaving as expected the transactions were confirmed rather fast every single time.

hi, i created wallet address using cli wallet. Got first 10 etn payout (already confirmed). but i check my balance still 0, already sync to latest block. is it normal ?

I created the same wallet again and its done!

Guys just read through the posts there is also a guide. The mining rewards just take some blocks to get confirmed. So far - the pool stability issues aside - I never encountered any problems regarding payouts or the wallet itself.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit Moonlander 2: The Most Powerful and Efficient USB Stick Miner! on: December 02, 2017, 07:07:53 PM
I would really appreciate if people share their settings and experiences here. I ordered a couple of the sticks but will have to wait for the final delivery to myself. I want to tinker around but having a good starting point can be really valuable.

Follow the support thread linked in the first post of this thread that has detailed instructions on the stick, as well as a reference point to start tinkering/playing with voltages etc.

I will do that once I hold them in my hands. Thank you.

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone max out their Credit Cards on mining gear? on: December 02, 2017, 04:43:00 PM
I don’t get it - you mean you just buy your mining gear with a credit card? What credit card are we talking about? One where you pay the balance every month? Is it more of a loan thing?

All the waiting coins are immature, need confirmations. I will not go to sleep until this is done.
I don't understand : in my browser, some blocks are not paid but mature since many blocks.(more than 130 confirmations, for example blocs 47580, 47552,47524, 47522...).

It's now ok ! I can go to sleep (07:11 am) lol

Could you add an auto donate setting to avoid hassle of manually donating, or at least add a button to donation page to auto copy to clipboard.....I'm a bit lazy and hate copying an address.

You have now a button in giveway page to copy the address to your clip board Smiley

I go to sleep a bit now, it's 08:18am still not got an hour to sleep since yesterday morning lol i work too much !  Cheesy Cheesy

Direct message me on slack or here if you have questions or suggestions.

Giveway will probably be 5 000 bitcoinz before tonight. It would be great if people mining on http://pool.perpignan.ovh could invite people. It could increase the amounts and so the number of winners.

EDIT : With recent donations, Giveaway will be 8 000 BitcoinZ ! So 8 Winners.

If a random get twice the same address, do you prefer that i retry or this person win twice ? I ask because it is possible to happen.

Thanks for the pool put a humble 1kSol/s of my smallest rig to that pool. Nethash is rather small right now;I still get a reasonable amount of coins. I find the giveaway idea a great way to attrack attention:)

I only created that offline pdf wallet paper where my wallet id is in.

nice nickname by the way Wink

That's where they are, it will be easier to access them when a better wallet comes out but you can use electroneumd.exe and electroneum-wallet-cli.exe from PowerShell and look at the balance

Just check the opening post or alternatively go here
https://swisscryptominer.blogspot.ch/2017/11/how-to-wire-electroneum-etn-from-your.html?m=1

I put together a detailed guide which allows you to access your funds.

I just got a 1060 3Gb version with samsung memory quite lucky probably. Im thinking to buy some more of the same brand as this can be valuable for some ETH clones. It also hashes better at equihash than a hynix card with the same setting. Quite nice i have to say Smiley
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: November 30, 2017, 03:50:51 PM
zotac with hynix max 18mh/s ethash

I also got one Zotac with Hynix and dont even bother trying to go for ETH. Hashing 295 sol/s (3 gb version).
Its pretty decent for that price but with that kind of memory you basically lose one viable mining option.
314  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: November 30, 2017, 08:51:15 AM
I have been mining with a small amount from late August and yesterday I basically added double my current capacity.  It seems I have no payouts for either bitcoin or etherium today. Is there something brewing?
Don’t do that, that’s exactly what HF wants to achieve. They increase the withdrawal threshold and people re invest hoping to reach it fastee. Nethash goes up -> less revenue and maybe HF will increase the threshold again. It’s a vicious cycle.

I dont think so, no threshold is announced for now, on the ohter hand the traffic on the böockchain is really high so speed is slower and fees is higher, so this is why genesis has reduced theirs payment for, is as the same for Hashflare
https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Hehe thats funny “they didn’t announce it”
You mean just like ending the lifetime contracts and limiting them to one year?
Or increase the withdrawal threshold to crazy numbers then reducing it but never removing it ( so again the initial state was not restored)

I can confirm this - changing it to GPU threads = 2 , I = 525 and Worksize to 9 is giving around 760 H/s on a RX 570 4GB with modded BIOS. Probably this can be optimised further but I always prefer to see if the new settings are stable (at least 24h run) and tweak again after a successful test.
For blockchain drivers and compute mod, it is still very low Smiley

Very low might be overstated, it is possible to squeeze out 10% at best. I read that people reach stable 800 H/s. I prefer to have it running stable for one week and miss out on 2-3% performance and not get a headache because of stability issues.

your setting is best if you don't have blockchain drivers.
Wait, but I do have the blockchain drivers installed. Does that mean that I shouldn't use ri=512 and g=2 since there's a better set? What settings are better for the blockchain drivers?
You need higher I and maybe W.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will probably only have time on the weekend to tinker around - the rig is running perfectly fine with the old PSU.
I will keep you posted hopefully with the solution Smiley
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Corsair HX 1200 | One Pcie cable won’t supply 2 GPUs on: November 28, 2017, 07:57:03 PM
It clearly is a problem with the PSU.

Setup 1 was running for months - no issues:
6x RX 570 powered by one 850W PSU the rig consumes 530W

Setup 2: The exaclty same as above just replaced the PSU with a HX 1200 and had to switch the mainboard power connector - all other cables remained the same.

Only 5 GPUs start the 6th wont even start - it is powered by the second 6+2 pin from the power canle. As the other GPU powered by the same cable works it cant be the cable. As stated above on the same cable the second card was working fine.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Corsair HX 1200 | One Pcie cable won’t supply 2 GPUs on: November 28, 2017, 04:44:20 PM
No its not crashing the 6th card is just not powered. I can start mining with the 5 GPUs no issues there everything very stable.

Could be just a bad cable or connector. Did you test every possible configuration? You've got what, 4 cables with 2 pci-e connectors each? And 6x connectors on the back of the PSU (they all seem to be interchangeable and should work with both the PCI-e and the EPS cables). That's quite a lot of possible combinations — did you try them all? You still should be able to power 6 simple rx 570 cards with that beast of a PSU. You've got 8 pci-e connectors in total, and only 6 cards, so 2 extra connectors. But you're running 5 cards, so using only 5 of the available 8 connectors. Does this mean that neither of the 3 remaining pci-e connectors works?

Anyway, there are eps=>pci-e adapters out there that you could buy, your PSU has two eps cables so I assume you're only using one of them and you could always attach one of those adapters to the 2nd EPS connector and power a couple more cards with it.

Yes, as I wrote if I only switch the PSU unit (nothing else!) leave all cables as they are only 5  GPUs powrt up. If the power port on the PSU would be faulty than 2 GPUs would not work but thats not the case, really hard to say.
