301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: for US Citizens: if you use VPN to buy into ICO, can the Government penalize? on: January 22, 2018, 06:30:18 PM
US people can bypass using a quality vpn but they might get stuck in KYC procedures if the ICO is offering because they cant provide a different nationality document. If they make huge gains then redirected tax authorities will also question them about the source of the income.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dadi.cloud ICO concerns on: January 22, 2018, 04:41:34 PM
Dadi pre sale phase 2 will begin shortly. What do you guys think about this?
They have red flags for copying 400 words from SONM'S whitepaper. If you are investing then do you neglect these claims or are you investing just because of hype around it?
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Heir to Paypal? on: January 21, 2018, 07:02:25 PM
I would go for request Network because of brilliant team, advisors and backing up giants like ycombinator etc. Better than all of these they are exactly following their roadmap, infact they are ahead of it. Q2 and Q3 have many exciting updates coming up for request network. Its like PayPal 2.0 with many extra features.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help With ICOs on: January 21, 2018, 06:56:07 PM
Hi all,

Could you possibly give a thoughts on following selected ICOs?

- DADI - It was promising but I have recently found as others the this one looks like a SCAM.
- ArcBlock - This looks still solid to go for it
- Play2Live - no sure but look like interesting as a platform. Question mark if it is feasible if they reach only soft cap...

Thanks for review and any other ICO to put on the radar?

Cheers!!!
Dadi and arc blocks have many red flags but I'm not sure if they are resolved already or not. But once the ICO kicks in nothing matters of there is enough hype about the project. For example storm ICO had many red flags but still it managed 20x at one time.
Ink protocol, bee token, republic protocol, referrum are the upcoming hot ICOs
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vechain good to go now? on: January 20, 2018, 07:10:45 PM
Or it is pumped, that would be FOMO as he probably deserve a correction?
I think it deserves a correction, 8$ at the movement is too high for this project. The price is surging because they are announcing some good partnerships and FOMO of new investors.
PS: I bought VEN it was around $1.5 but still I don't suggest anyone to buy at this price.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is key buying criteria for you to buy an altcoin? on: January 20, 2018, 07:00:01 PM
The main criteria I use to buy a good altcoin is project transparency, if the project does not show clarity there is no reason why I invest. Another factor that is very important is to analyze every promise estimated by Dev and the team.
In this age, only project transparency or having a working product won't work. The main criteria is hype around the project. Yes! This is true without hype projects won't go higher always. There are many examples for this statement like 0X, District0x, Aragon, ubiq, status network token etc
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earn BTC online with no money on: January 20, 2018, 11:55:00 AM
you can get it in this forum, at least try to more often read what others post here because I very often encounter the same thread.

To develop  my rank all I have to do is read what people post ? Or I have to post as well and comment other's  post ??

To develop your rank you have to start posting in the forum. Your rank is dependent on your activity and your activity is dependent on your posts count(new topics or new replies). So start to post, your activity will increase gradually and you will be an upgraded member. There are some rules for activity calculation you can go through those here:

309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC down, Market dump. Is this time to buy? on: January 16, 2018, 04:43:53 PM
If you want to start investing in the dip do like this
1. Check if the drop is more than 20% and make your first buy there.
2. If it went more than 20 - 30% down from the point where you first bought then watch the charts carefully.
3. If trend reversal happens (Price going up immediately after an extreme drop) buy again.
4. HODL
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple proof of stake or proof of work? on: January 15, 2018, 07:01:30 AM
Hi!

I was wondering if ripple is proof of stake or proof of work.  If it's POS, how can I stake?
Ripple is a company and you are talking about XRP coin. So XRP is neither proof of stake nor proof of work. It is a pre mined coin running on Ripple's protocol. The nodes in the ripple company validates all the transactions. That's it! This is the best example of centralisation.

312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: January 14, 2018, 06:42:55 AM
Well Electroneum presented that one, now what happened? No mining app yet and the difficulty is so high. Mobile Phones are not good for mining there is also a malware that mines using your phone and destroys your phone.
Electroneum mobile app won't mine anything on your phone. Its just a virtual simulator you need to open that and leave it in the background. They reward you with electroneum tokens for doing this that's all. Some people will wrongly believe that they are actually mining on their phone.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Waves is always low? on: January 12, 2018, 06:14:37 PM
In its  roadmap  there  are  a lot of  things...  why is always low?

Looks like you are on the wrong side of the track.
Just 2 months back price was around 3$ now go and check the price please. See how it is grown if you're not surprised with the results then please keep your money in bank fixed deposits you would definately enjoy that! Lol
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ELECTRONEUM SPECULATION THREAD on: January 12, 2018, 06:10:02 PM
Read a lot of information I still don't understand the Scam this project or not. A lot of people said Yes. Fork, monero no idea and so badly shot up. Don't know who to believe so I actually don't invest in it. As we say "no smoke without fire"

If just the price to watch after the new year, the price still did not grow. The peak was a billion of capitalization. If you take now then very carefully and slightly.
This is not a scam project but definately electroneum developers ripped off Monro's source code to create their new coin with mobile mining as a marketing thing. That mobile mining concept is completely bullshit you don't even mine anything on your phone instead it's just a virtual simulator like thing running in your phone.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash on: January 11, 2018, 05:52:52 PM
Where will be BCH if Lightning protocol will be applied to BTC ? Who will need it , or buy it ? I doubt bitcoin cash have a good long-term perspectives , but this is crypto , so everything could happen .
Lightning won't make any miracles overnight.
Its a slow process companies like coinbase, bitpay, coin payments etc should enable lightning network support if the wide adoption wants to take place. I'm not a BCH fan but still lightning won't solve all problems instantly.
Yes! Its absolutely true
Take segwit for example, it has been here since 6 fucking months but still there is no Bitcoin core GUI wallet available for segwit. If core itself taking some time then big companies like coinbase would definately take more time. Bitcoin cash can be used for transactions if investing on it is a risky option.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when is best time to cash in ? on: January 11, 2018, 02:35:12 PM
When each and every coin is shining in the green is a sign of cashing out. Don't cash out on a red day like today because you are getting lesser fiat for your coins. But remember to cash out at regular intervals like once in a month or twice to avoid magic crashes and panic selling.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin for 1000 USD? on: January 11, 2018, 02:17:35 PM
I want play a game - „all or nothing“.

Which altcoin will make best profit in 2018?

I wanna try Mintcoin. Or?...
Looks like you are interested in get rich or go broke game.
What you need to do is invest in an upcoming ICO and hold the tokens for more than 3 months atleast.
I suggest you to check out Wepower, nucleus vision, thekey, bee token etc
Get whitelisted in these ICOs ASAP.
Good luck
318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance vs Bitrex on: January 10, 2018, 05:53:05 PM
Binance is better than bittrex for me because of:
1. Great support
2. More coin choices.
3. Clean UI
4. Mobile app (I really like this, trading on the go)
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARCBLOCK this coin is Great? on: January 10, 2018, 04:22:15 PM
Looks like a good project (atleast for a first impression) but why aren't people talking about this? The team is also backed by big advisors from netease and kryptical capital.
Blockchain 3.0 thing doesn't look good because it's already been using by cardano developers.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 10, 2018, 02:11:35 PM
No, ICO won't die anytime soon infact it'll grow much stronger throughout this year.
I know some of the bullshit ICOs made you to think so. Picking a quality ICO nowadays isn't as easy a catching fish in the nearby pond.
We need ICOs I mean quality ICOs with an use case.
