I don't think so because waves is just a token creation platform. It is not a fully functional advanced smart contract platform like Ethereum which is also more popular and reliable solution for fund raising.

Some bounty programs are cheat, fake and scam. They tend to dupe the bounty hunters of their rewards after they have achieved their goals and objectives. While some do not meet up with their soft cap. Digitizecoin is just an example who doesn't meet with soft cap and therefore returned the money of its investors. This is actually a worst case. Investors will get their money back if the soft cap isn't met. But bounty hunters lost hours of hardwork with no payment. If anyone participated in a signature campaign like that then it would have been a nightmare. |

Your observations is correct and timely,naturally KYC is meant for investors and not for bounty hunters,investors KYC is needed because of the funds they are investing especially if the money is above $1000 any amount less should not attract KYC.
But the problem here is alot of bounty hunters or airdrop participants are looking to cheat the system. So KYC is a small measures to avoid this problem. Else the legit money will get into the fraud participants which actually is unfair to the honest users. |

Vitalik just said that to warn people who invest in cryptocurrency without knowing the risk, people now are just following the hype of a coin and just diving in without any research about the coin, crypto is very risky if you are just new in the industry you need more time and research to be able to adapt.

It didn't change anything yet. It is infact changing the cryptocurrency world. Most of the crypto users don't know the real potential of Ethereum yet. Once this is realised, we won't see ETH at this price range
