61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: February 05, 2019, 07:52:23 PM
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks
Many ICO projects work very seriously, and Twitter information is updated very frequently. I believe that as long as the bull market is coming, the value of the project token will definitely rise.
Not exactly, most of the projects update their Twitter or any other social media accounts just for name sake. Not even 25% of the roadmap would be completed still they boost about themselves be giving useless updates.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: February 04, 2019, 04:09:10 PM
Bounty hunters contribute greatly to the success of numerous ICOs but as much as I would like to blame most bounty managers, the fact is that most of them does their work quite well and the problem originates from the people who own the project's, some of them turn to wolves after their ICO is over..
Well most of them contribute to the success of the project, many are using fake accounts for campaigns like Facebook and Twitter. Which actually results in the loss or brings no value to the ICO projects.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 📺 ICOTalk.TV - video interviews with ICO projects [ENG] on: February 04, 2019, 04:02:16 PM
Projects like this should be encouraged. We can see the real faces behind the ICO mask. Wish I was aware of this in the last year itself. It would have been easier for me to filter scam projects. My bad, I found this today when there are many ICOs around.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IS BTT a good investment for us ??? on: February 03, 2019, 11:24:09 AM
BTT recently launched on the tron network. It has  a decentralized product and also it is based on seeders and nodes.
It has a working project on its side. So how much profit can you expect from it for mid term.
This is a bear market so I won't expect much returns from a token like BTT though the ICO sold out within minutes. We really have to wait for a good time and now it is too early to judge. If this was January 2018 them we could have easily expected atleast 10x returns on listing as it will be much more hyped.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hunter's Earners on: February 03, 2019, 11:17:54 AM
It is only possible if Bitcoin is crashed to $100 or $200. Because that is the amount we can earn this year if market is in bearish mode. But if it crashes to that low then I think ICO market won't be existed.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: February 02, 2019, 07:32:21 AM
Do you think i can hold my coins for a year am not rich i just want to be rich that why i keep investing in cryptocurrency i can't hold for a year i need money.
Nobody knows exactly.
What I think is market will continue the same trend for few more years just like it was in 2014. But one thing for sure, 90% of the alts will die. So do some research and hold useful alts.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead coins... on: January 29, 2019, 12:08:00 PM
Some coins are dead because of the owner leaving out the project or the owner scamming users. For example, Centra token, which was endorsed by celebrities like Floyd Mayweather etc. Unfortunately this project already ended as a scam but still it is trading on some exchanges.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your favorite coin to invest in that's NOT in the Top 100 on: January 29, 2019, 11:20:17 AM
My favourite coin would be gifto.
Gifto is a crypto which can be used on the famous content creator site uplive. You can use gifto tokens to award content creators. There are more than 1.5 million gifto wallet users.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you hold a bag of useless illiquid tokens like me? on: January 28, 2019, 01:39:01 PM
Yes, its not just you. Even I'm holding a ton of shitcoins which includes the coins delisted from exchanges, shit ICO s which never got listed on exchanges and more importantly those tons of worthless, useless tokens from airdrop.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create fake IDs for KYC for airdrops on: January 28, 2019, 01:34:12 PM
From day one of KYC implementation in cryptocurrency world i started feeling unsafe until I decided not to ever join any airdrops or bounty requesting for idcards ,residence address ,government i.D's ,you don't have to be told that its risky ,my advice is to stay away from the ones requesting it,not worth it

Thank you. But if I can somehow get a fake ID I don't mind getting all the shitcoin airdrops. One maybe useful in the future?
You can create a fake ID easily if you have some basic Photoshop skills. You just need to learn cutting and pasting plus gradients to match the background etc. If the projects ask you for IDs with different angle, holding near your face etc then it is next to impossible to do that.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Post-ICO Bounty? on: January 27, 2019, 10:45:25 AM
I started a thread here last Month, November https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5070456.msg47962086#msg47962086

One of our major strength will be the Post-ICO Bounty system.

How it will work:

The project can still continue to pay in Token or in cash even after the official Bounty has been completed. This will make it possible for project owners to promote their project easily using the same method in which funds were raised.

We will like to hear from you!

After raising funds via ICO, you would just prefer to advertise your project or would you still love to promote your project using the Bounty method?

I think its a good idea to participate in post ICO bounty even though the rewards are small. Why? Coz participants can earn for sure without worrying much about the value of the token. Its like a peace of mind. There are also less chances for scam.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: January 27, 2019, 10:38:00 AM
Nowadays its very hard to find a bounty campaign which actually pays. Forget about $1000, its now hard to earn even $100. Those days are definately gone.
Find a campaign which do you think will actually pay. Don't join campaigns from new managers who promises Like millions of dollars for bounty. Its just non sense.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [VITE] [DAG + Smart Contract] Vite | Signature Campaign on: January 26, 2019, 10:37:10 AM
Important Update

Rewards for the 2nd week were sent out.

Greetings to all on behalf of the Vite team! Thank you for your support over the past two weeks. We decide to launch more campaign in the future (for our wallet and DEX). In this regard, we made decisions to adjust the rewards amount that were proposed by us initially. These changes relate to rewards for the 3rd and 4th weeks. Thanks for your understanding.
I didn't expect this. This is not fair for participants. Please don't change the rules in the middle of the campaign.
74  Local / India / Re: Paypal charging exorbitant fees! on: January 25, 2019, 09:05:56 AM
I was freelancing for a project these days and was to receive my renumeration in dollars. Because the person was not so tech savvy, I agreed to receive money via Paypal. On 31st of December they person credited my salary into my account. I was shocked to see that Paypal had deducted a fees of 5% for the total transaction size. It was a good amount in terms of rupees and paying such high fees was quite shocking to me. Moreover, they have put my funds on hold for 21 days because my Paypal account was not active for the past 6 months.

Is it normal for Paypal to charge 5% fees? And what are the other ways through which I can get money into India (from Dollars) in a cheap and easy way? Please don't say Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency because I am working for a project and the salary is decided beforehand. So the volatility in the markets plus the knowledge required to use cryptocurrency (on part of my employer) would be a major drawback.
PayPal charges 4.4% fees + $0.30(fixed) + 3.5% currency conversion fees + 18% GST (ONLY ON 4.4% service charge)
But unfortunately that's the best option if you don't want to use crypto. Bank wire transfers charges even more fees. Same goes with physical cheques aswell and it takes way more time to get credited to your bank account.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs completed in the first half of January have raised around $160 million. on: January 25, 2019, 08:45:46 AM
"Initial coin offerings (ICOs) completed in the first half of January have raised around $160 million. The figure was provided in a report by ICO rating service ICObench shared with Cointelegraph on Jan. 18.

ICOs completed by Jan. 15 have managed to raise about 33 percent of the combined amount raised in the previous month of December. Half of that sum was secured by just one project, the report notes.

According to ICObench, the number of fundraisers that are set to take place in January is more than 150, a figure similar to the past seven months, excluding December." - Read more in Cointelegraph. https://cointelegraph.com/news/icos-raised-160-million-in-first-half-of-january-report-says
I think its fake. Looks like a well fabricated article. I'm not saying ICO market is completely dead but raising big amounts like $160 million in just half a month is non sense at this market condition. Or some ICOs gave fake collection report to the ICO bench. Can anyone name a single ICO which raised funds in 1st half of January?

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico fund raising on: January 24, 2019, 01:54:14 PM
Does the amount of money raised in an ico determine the success of the project??

Is a necessity to do a fund raiser in order to start up a project??

Did satoshi nakamoto and vitalik also started a fund raised??
There is no need to raise funds in order to startup a project because most of the projects can be started with little to no investment. Most of the people will have this much amount. Once you want to take your project to the next level you can raise the required funds through public or private funding.
Most of the successful companies in the world are started with no to less investments. You definitely don't need millions of dollars for a startup.
Yes, Vitalik raised funds but Satoshi didn't.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud mining still profitable? on: January 24, 2019, 01:42:10 PM
There is nothing like cloud mining. Most websites lure users to invest in their site. You may think that you are getting mining hardware virtually but it is not true. It is a well planned Ponzi scheme. Once the new money stops entering, they will run away with your money. Moreover it is not possible if the market crashes.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 23, 2019, 01:11:52 PM
All your tokens will be great again, as soon as the market will recover. Do not sell them for pennies right now, just make a new Ethereum wallet and store them your rewards. One day these coins will worth a lot of money.

Nonsense! Most young projects die never knowing a taste of money (especially big money). It's so stupid to hope for the growth and think that all projects will start growing! It's a utopian dream!
Exactly, it is so bad to see that some people still have their hopes on dead/shit projects. Most of the ICOs launched just to milk money from users. They don't give a shit about the project. 2017/2018 are great lessons for ICO investors.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto? on: January 23, 2019, 01:05:28 PM
If you are talking about Cryptocurrency investments then the money you have invested is risky. If you keep large amount of cryptos in exchange them there is always a risk of being theft. Some cryptos aren't safe for 51% attack like ethereum classic etc.
