There will be no bubble until venture capitalists stop funding unnecessary startups and instead send their fiat directly to exchanges.

Whoever owns that wall probably has inside info about fiat that just landed on the exchange but sits offbook. Pulling the wall causes a short term spike, tempting fiat to move onbook.

Does it count as a sale if he sold into his own bids?

It would be absolutely hilarious to see that wall get bought up in one fell swoop.

Wall owners do have cannibalistic tendencies.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Set to Stamp, show bid/ask sums, and 1h or 2h timespan. Both sides are changing dramatically. Methinks someone is going to buy their own coins soon. Possibly to create appearance of strong whale demand, or to launder by purchasing with an alt account. Or both.

I'm guessing the owner of this mega ask wall has enough fiat off book to buy his own bitcoins and will do so in the near future to encourage other bulltards to charge forward with him.

I'm in Toronto, I've had this problem several times. First time the price dropped below $400 CAD i went to buy Bitcoin at the Robocoin machine on Bloor street and it didn't work, once the price went up to $480-500 the machine was functioning again. Then I went yesterday when the price was still around $400 CAD and the machine stopped working again.
...

lol.

DOGE held pretty good. It seems like DOGe is the only trustable hedge against cryptos.
IS FTC preparing for a pump, or is it alredy over?  I think i´m gonna buy me some.

I can think of at least one other protocol that is a much better hedge.

 Grin Cool Cool

So, should i buy into,  or is it already too late? How much gain can one roughly expect by the end if the year? What´s the best exchange to buy in, without much hassle.
I trust you on this one Walz. I will help to pump your book with my DOGE profits.
When do you expect XRP to replace the dollar?

It might take 3-6 months before dollar parity. Please understand, this is not a get rich quick investment. Gotta be patient.   Kiss Cool Cool

I wish BTC would just stop falling. I'm not asking for a bubble here, I'm asking for it to find a value point and cease losing it.
I'm not even a (big) holder of alternative cryptocurrency anymore, I just want BTC to become a reliable currency people feel safe
value wise holding onto.

lol'd so hard that I pooped a little.  Cool Cool Angry

319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does "Wash Trading" in China cause artificial drop of BTC price ? on: September 28, 2014, 08:03:37 PM
Not likely single persons trading with themselves. Too easy to get caught and would make it more difficult for exchange CEOs to sincerely deny what's going on. More likely is that groups of traders are pooling their funds and trading among multiple accounts with some kind of external program/bot to synchronize everything.

Ripple is a technology that works with banks, i.e., it’s centralized so that you can literally turn your dollars or euros or sterling into a digital form.
...

NO FKN THANKS!!!!  And stop with your pointless shilling of Ripple plz.

The crowd inflating the next crytpo-bubble doesn't care about centralization.
