301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 27, 2018, 12:55:51 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

For now bitcoin is the mother of crypto currencies and this not replaceable. There are a lot of people using bitcoin and dependent on it. Since 2009 bitcoin was very stable although it is volatile but i can say that this helps a lot of people reaching their dreams come true.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 10:18:09 AM
Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?

It is a choice that you have to take.  There is always a risk in investing. If i have the resources i would buy now becs. Bitcoin is cheap that is the opportunity there. Just make sure that you keep tract on the market trend.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: March 26, 2018, 03:34:45 AM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

My greatest fear as bitcoin holder is the scanmmers and hackers. I am receiving reports that bitcoins are decreasing it's value and maybe this is the cause of people that will not invest un bitcoin.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 25, 2018, 12:20:18 PM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Advertisements are a good venue to make people be aware of bitcoin,  it's purpose and benefits. we all know that advertising on television is very costly. what will happen to ICO's and its project. what if it will have a low profits because it is paying the advertisement. The more payables the lesser the profit.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: March 25, 2018, 11:30:55 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

I don't think that Bitcoin will destroy the fiat system. There are a lot of things to do if they will push this system. Not all people are computer literate and some don't have the money to have an internet connections to do transactions. It will be very hard to make all the people to joined bitcoin because not all of us understand the benefits of it.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: March 25, 2018, 12:45:42 AM
As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.

This good but this cant be possible right now because not everyone are joining bitcoin. People are still into banking and other taxable transactions. Maybe when all people are unto crypto.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 02:40:19 PM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

Bitcoin impresses me because it provides opportunity to all the people who wants to be part of it. We can make money out of it. Younger generations can bensfit with it. This even reduce unemployment.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 24, 2018, 11:03:08 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

Yes i do believe in crypto currencies. There are a lot of bad news these days which i think one of the reason that the value is very cheap right now.  But i am very positive that crypto will bounce back to its higher value.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 09:09:02 AM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why

More men are into bitcoin because men provides for the family. They are the one who will get a supplementary income to support the families needs. Men have also more time since they don't do household chores.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: March 24, 2018, 07:00:47 AM
Hello everyone, recently there has been a lot of panic on this forum due to the big price change of Bitcoin (as it always happens). Understandably, many people are confused and worried as they have lost thousands in their value, especially if they have bought higher than the current price. But as someone who has been into Bitcoin for 1.5 years (not too long, I know) I want to advice to newcomers to simply relax. Huge price swing were always a part of Bitcoin, so there's nothing extraordinary here and the worst thing you can do is to make panic trades. Basically, there are two main approaches to Bitcoin trading - you either hodl it, meaning you never sell it until it reached "the moon", or you are actively trading it to get profit from volatility. So, if you believe in Bitcoin's technology and don't have experience as a trader, I suggest you to not touch your coins - Bitcoin always tends to increase in its value in the long run.

I am a newbie and yes it can cause panic because the value is low and i am somewhat doubtful of my small investments. But as i can see it i am positive that bitcoin can recover. I am just observant on the market.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 24, 2018, 04:53:18 AM
Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. That is why Bitcoin among all Habetahale to spread the knowledge of the second day will increase the demand for Bitcoin.

I think it can eliminate uneployment becs. Even the younger generation can have a job in btc. People with good and high profits can make a small businesses and they can employ also.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: March 24, 2018, 12:17:00 AM
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.

I have so many plans i am just waiting for yhe right time to cash out. I will buy a new house and lot and a car some will be save in case of emergency. The rest will be for my childrens education.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 23, 2018, 12:36:27 PM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?

I think this is a good move. There are a lot of people who do not know btc. I myself known btc just 2017. These needs social media promotions. But there are also dis advantages. Gov't will push the tax for btc, hackers & scammers will double and even fake news to put btc down. Becs. Of social media many people will now be interested in it.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: March 23, 2018, 11:22:04 AM
The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

I see bitcoin value increases in 2018 and i can see myself getting rich in 2018 also. An increase of supporters is predicted becs. There are a lot of younger generations who are interested. Many people will believe and invest  in bitcoin .

316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: March 23, 2018, 03:54:15 AM

Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: March 23, 2018, 03:11:19 AM
Prices are low and it is presenting a good opportunity ... are you excited about the situation? how do you exploit the retracement to your advantage?
Some investors are worried, but many of us are doing great business and will continue to do so in the coming days.
Which of the purchases of these days made you happier? did you do it on new products (new to you) or did you recover something that you missed in the past?
What are you keeping an eye on and hope to take during the next days?

Low prices is an opportunity since this is the best time to invest. But i am not that excited since this can cause panic of investors. I hope the value will get higher the soonest possible time.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: March 22, 2018, 10:11:58 PM
Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink

Cashless society is good becs. It is very handy, accounts payable and payments of goods will be online, but you need to take care of your accounts since there are a lot of hackers nowadays. That is my worry for now.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 22, 2018, 01:11:44 PM
We all know that involving in bitcoin it takes your time and also money. Is it worthy to risk your time and money because of bitcoin?

For me bitcoin is worth my time and money. It is not a risk it is an opportunity. I learned a lot from my experience and it motivates me to be more keen in dealing my financial approaches. It is also part of my routine and i am comfortable with it.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: March 21, 2018, 11:34:05 AM
Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. But moving beyond this rhetoric, it’s not all that difficult to compare the rise of bitcoin to that of another technology: the World Wide Web. http://blockgeeks.com/questions/what-is-your-future-predictions-of-bitcoin/#comment-604

There is a very positive future in bitcoin currency but not totally replace money. There are still issues like poor internet connection and computer literacy. People needs to be well informed with the system also.
