441  Local / Pilipinas / Re: How to start trading? on: January 30, 2018, 12:33:00 AM
Kung gusto mong pumasok sa trading, you should at least have learned something by reading and researching on the
internet. There are a lot of do's and don't that you should be aware. I will give some few "don't do" in trading that is helpful to you.

Don't invest money which you can't afford to lose. Anytime you can make a wrong move that makes your money gone. At least kung mangyari yon ay hindi masyong masakit sa iyong kalooban kasi hindi naman masyadong malaki ang nilabas mong pera.

Don't focus on a single coin. Spread your resources to a few coins which you think have potential. It maybe that one coin will fall and others will rise so sa ganoong paraan ay wagi ka pa rin.

I hope these tips will help you and happy trading.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is stuck at $10k dollars, what is wrong with you people? on: January 29, 2018, 05:32:52 AM
December was very good but in January you lost your faith.
Give us some faith or it won't reach $20k.
Keep it going up people.  Show some confidence.
This month, Bitcoin just suffered a dip because of some factors. Some government threatens to ban cryptocurrency exchanges in their country. There is also hacking on certain wallets. These scenarios are just enough to create fear to some bitcoin holder that they sold their stock resulting on the influx of supply in the market. But now things are getting stable.
443  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Who is the BIGGEST bitcoin holder in philippines? on: January 27, 2018, 02:26:26 PM
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: January 26, 2018, 01:08:16 PM
I don't do all those 3 things.
First, never actually buy Bitcoin with fiat money because I just don't have that much money. Second, I rarely do a trade with altcoin. And third, I'm not just hodling what I have because I always spend my Bitcoin to buy what I need. I know this seems stupid to spend all my Bitcoin instead of hodling it, but believe me this is what we need to do to maintain the system.
Hi bro, i am intrigue with what you say "this is what we need to do to maintain the system". If you don't mind me asking, what system are you referring to?
Sorry for asking. Smiley
445  Other / Meta / Re: No more signature campaigns for Junior Members - Asking for a grace period on: January 26, 2018, 02:41:13 AM
As you may be aware, the forum now has a "merit" system. You may find all the details here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

In short, you will need people to "upvote" your posts to advance in rank, as opposed to making a certain amount of posts over time. The rules are explained in more detail in the thread, but "merit" is a scarce resource now, although we donīt know how scarce.

But I am placing this post in AltCoin discussion because it affects how signature campaigns are affected and many members donīt read the "Meta" section.

JUNIORS CANīT HAVE A SIGNATURE NOW

This means that if you were in the middle of a campaign that required wearing the signature... you are done. Most likely youīll get nothing.

If you consider that there should be some grace period or that an alternative solution could be implemented, you may post here or on the original Meta thread.
That's the problem. The system is implemented just in the middle of this week. So if there is a Junior Member that has joined a signature campaign like me, there is a chance that he will be expelled from that campaign depending on the bounty manager's discretion.

A Junior member can still wear a signature but not a clickable one.

Changing the rules in the middle of a game for me is unfair. It is better not to disqualify a junior member from a campaign because it is not his fault why things go this way. Let him finish the campaign because he still has the signature although without a link.

Just a thought of a Junior Member.  Smiley
446  Other / Meta / Re: What is the function of the "Merit" score? on: January 25, 2018, 08:37:51 AM
I do hope that with this new "Merit" system, spamming and garbage posting will be eliminated.
This should have been implemented years ago. My greatest worry here is how a Jr member like me will rank-up.
They said that in order to rank-up you should give "quality post". But what are the attributes of a "quality post" that deserves a merit?
If it depends on how someone would rate it then "drama" would occur. But i do hope this won't happen.

Looking forward with this new merit system.
447  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit and New rank system in Bitcointalk on: January 25, 2018, 07:30:31 AM
Ang hirap na talaga mag pa rank ngayon eh pano kung okay naman ang post then nasakanila din kasi kung mag bibigay sila ng merit sa post mo pano sir kung pwede kaya sabihin na i memerit back kita kung imemerit moko ? Pano kung may ganung thread mag kakaroon kaya sya ng negative trust nun sir rickbig?

As I've said earlier, I won't allow this to happen... You don't have to beg para magka merit... Kung maganda talaga ang post mo, then magkakarun ka ng merit... I hope I make this clear to everyone...

If you see someone begging for merit, let me know...
Yes sir Rickbig it is crystal clear to me your intention on the above subject. I hope that the corruption they are talking on the meta thread won't happen. I also hope that the intention of the administrator on why he implemented this rule will be achieve.
448  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit and New rank system in Bitcointalk on: January 25, 2018, 06:45:52 AM
Hello guys,

Gusto ko sana i discuss natin dito yung regarding sa Merit and New rank system na inimplement ni master theymos.

Here is the link para sa mga hindi pa nakaka alam : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Here is the link para makita mo ang MERIT mo and remaining sMerit (Sendable Merit) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit

I think no matter how quality your post is, no one will give merit to you because the merit source will intend to give the merit to someone he knew.

Paano na kaya kami mag-rank up ngayon?
449  Other / Meta / Re: What is the function of the "Merit" score? on: January 25, 2018, 01:58:00 AM
I know you are trying your best to prevent spam posts and fighting multi account farming that most of the campaigns full with this days . And I truly hope that this new system will not became a source of drama in the future . We will see how things will go , Hope it will work .

One question when I press +merit it looks like I can give merit to myself ( Did not really try it ) !! That would be really bad !
Agree with you bro. I hope that this move by the administrator can combat spamming very well. My fear of this system is when someone get biased. He/she will give merits to someone he knew and his friend. What will happen to the others who don't have connections and friends. The drama will come in, many will cry.

I hope that it does not happened. Merits should be given to someone who deserves it.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ACTIVE] ⭐️LIVE STARS⭐️ - Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: January 25, 2018, 01:03:04 AM
Jr Members can no longer have signature links.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.msg28792130#msg28792130

I'm not to blame. Soon I will become a member.

I wrote more than 10 posts. Please add me my stakes for last week.

Well, with the new system you will become member only if you can acquire 10 Merit points.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.msg28856522#msg28856522

For now, your signature still works; although it's not the clickable one.  Wink
Yes Gambit, our signature still works but the bounty manager did not give us the stake allocated for the last week.
I think they should consider because the rules are only implemented this week, it is not our fault that we wear the not clickable signature.

Just my thought.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ACTIVE] ⭐️LIVE STARS⭐️ - Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: January 24, 2018, 02:11:08 PM
Hi Bounty manager, it says on the signature campaign spreadsheet to "fix your signature".
I try to fix it by copying the code but still i get the same result.
Is there a problem?
Thank you very much.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 24, 2018, 01:21:31 PM
Against the San Antonio Spurs, Lebron James has the opportunity to hit the 30,000 career regular season points because he is currently seven points shy of making that mark, he would have been able to do it in their last game against the OKC Thunder but they were no match for them at all,
The King Lebron James joins the club of 30K points with Michael "Air" Jordan the GOAT. But the downside for Lebron in this game is that they are on the losing side. It should been happier if they won the game.
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why this sharp drop in currencies ? on: January 24, 2018, 08:13:24 AM
I know this very well  Grin This is the opportunity to buy Wink
Yes, this is the opportunity to buy while the value is not that high. Volatility always creates opportunity. This drop in cryptocurrencies is normal because many governments threatens to ban trading sites and it creates fear to some.

Don't panic and seize the opportunity while you have the chance.
454  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: January 23, 2018, 03:18:59 PM
It depends on how old are you now my bro, and how healthy your body is. You know it's to tell what will happen in the future. Bitcoin can reach 50K in 3 years from and you gone or bitcoin reach 30K and you are gone. It's hard to make prediction involving our life because anything can happen. Death is like a thief in the night.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 22, 2018, 03:10:28 PM
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

That's a good sign for other bitcoiners. If KFC receives a bitcoin payment? Some restaurants may also accept bitcoin for payment. It is better to have some bitcoins in their own restaurant. They also earn money because bitcoin does not. Some people think it's illegal. It's not illegal, they're just shattering. But I can only say that it's going to be a bitcoin in the shopping areas. Smiley Hope hope is the most popular request. Smiley
Is it better for KFC to launch an ICOs that is intended to buy their products? It is not practical nowadays to use bitcoin because the transaction fee is i think is high.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: South Korea trading ban on: January 22, 2018, 07:54:09 AM
“There are great concerns regarding virtual currencies and [the] justice ministry is basically preparing a bill to ban cryptocurrency trading through exchanges,” justice minister Park Sang-ki said.[1]
News of the ban follows the raiding of local cryptocurrency exchanges by police and tax authorities over alleged tax evasion, as one of the key nations driving the demand for bitcoin and other virtual currencies attempts a clampdown.[2]

The value of bitcoin plunged 13.5% in the early hours of Thursday after news hit that South Korea is planning to ban cryptocurrency trading.[3]

Do you think the price will lose more?

Source of news : https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jan/11/bitcoin-drops-value-south-korea-trading-ban-cryptocurrencies-tax-gambling
I think the proposed ban on cryptocurrency exchange on South Korea has nothing to do with the recent dip of bitcoin price in the market. It may simply be that the supply is high and demand is low.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: January 20, 2018, 12:08:54 PM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Yes, social media is the biggest factor why bitcoin's popularity grows. It is in fact better than television or the so-called main stream media. Almost every person in the world now have an android phone and have internet.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: January 20, 2018, 03:44:11 AM
winning in gambling it really gives me a special feelings, power and self-confidence. I feel my self able to win any other game.

I think this must be controlled since gambling is all about luck and control. If you are having a good profit from your gambling, I think it is better if you can stop, if you can't stop, start betting smaller than you usually bet so you can control the winnings that you have. But I think it is better if you can stop when you have a good amount of win.
Gambling to some is a way to earn money to feed their family and while others they do gambling just to have some fun. For those who do this for their family i think it is better to think of a way to make their earnings more and lie low in the future.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 19, 2018, 09:38:37 PM
Cleveland returns to victory against Orlando (worst record in nba with 13W 32L) but suffers a lot despite a maximum advantage of 23 points even risking losing.
Lebron James meanwhile is at 29.975 points, in the next match against Oklahoma with 25 points reaches 30,000 points!
They Cavs are the favorite to win that one  Smiley. Next game against OKC, James will score 30+ to get that 30k points club.

Nice to see the Cavaliers to get a win and stop the slide, snapping a 4 game losing streak. However, there still drama at the end, and there's a chance that Cavaliers could have lost that one. Same story, they have a huge lead and almost choke, actually they did, and IT was fouled and hit 2 free throws. So it can still go either way, but they got lucky at the end. I think they still need more improvement as far as defense. When the Magic is making a comeback, Cavaliers gave them easy look at the basket that why they were able to come back and take a 1 point lead. I'm still not totally sold out with the Cavaliers last performance.

Well the east may be becoming a little more balanced and exciting and i don't think many people believe that the cavs are assured of the east finals now. Lebron will be lebron and the guy will be making milestones for his career. That 30k pt club won't be the last one
Yeah, you are right. The Cavaliers now is not an automatically going to the Finals. There are teams that offered strong resistance to them. The Cavs right  now is not jelling very well since Isiah Thomas is back.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 19, 2018, 03:41:42 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people donīt have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
As long as you did not do any illegal things with regards to bitcoin i think you deserved it because you work to get it, it is not given to you free.

Yeah, bitcoin made many people millionaire.
