301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS BBQ coins complete waste of time? on: October 28, 2013, 09:23:49 PM
Thats what im asking.

Unfortunately BTC is not possible anymore - its not for  normal people. You must be using some pretty advanced ASIC miners just to see any money... and even then you may not get any profit at all.

Most alts i see yeah are cheap fakes and crap .. like the pyramid schemes and " get paid to read emails" stuff.

Anything besides litecoin even worth looking into at all (script based so ASIC farms wouldnt screw everyone).

I gave BBQ a try to see how it goes (let it run on background for roughly 18h at 130 kh/s) - and it made roughly 40 coins...  0.044$ at best if lucky - whiel consuming  most likely 2kwh (0.15$).

Use MiddleCoin.com

It mines the best alt coin at the time and exchanges it to BTC for you.
302  Economy / Goods / Re: Valcambi 50g gold combi bar group buy - ideal for the smaller investor on: October 28, 2013, 09:00:18 PM
Silver is not so much fun in the Uk when you have to pay 20% tax on it Sad

I used have quite a few 1/10 gold coins like panda's and Guernsey doubles and quite a few certicards by different mints.

Was a shame to sell up but the wife was unwell and couldn't work at the time so needs must.

All good again now so time to start stacking

Im down for the first 10g so 40 left to sell Smiley

Hey, at least you had the gold there as a safety net when you needed a little extra cash.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS BBQ coins complete waste of time? on: October 28, 2013, 08:59:23 PM
Just looked for alternatives that arend extremely overfarmed with expensive equipment... but... the price..

Best paid prices i see are at 0,00000778  BTC and .. there is pretty few buyers if any.

That would be roughly 129 000 BBQ coins for ONE BTC.

1 BTC roughly 142 €? thats 0.0011 c per BBQ or 900-1000 for 1€.  Farming 1000 would end up costing more for electricity Oo.

Is there any chance for it to revive or its  on the path of no return?

Alt coins are lame, what can you really do with BBQ coin but pump and dump?
304  Economy / Services / Re: Mr. Sway BTC Pizza Service on: October 28, 2013, 08:43:52 PM
How can you provide a 50% cut from the normal prices? That's insane.

Vouchers prob.

My local dominos always has 50 percent off vouchers.
305  Economy / Services / Re: Mr. Sway BTC Pizza Service on: October 28, 2013, 08:14:51 PM
Carded pizza = profit

You can see my name on the bill is under my name each time it is not carded.

Lol I'm joking ;p

Are you bonus whoring vouchers lol?

307  Economy / Services / Re: Buying Custom Skin 4 Script... on: October 28, 2013, 07:29:56 PM
Not exactly sure what you're asking.... A script/skin for what?

A skin for a script I have, the one I got at the moment is just pretty much a basic place holder and it's lame.

309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinabul owes me 241.96 BTC on: October 28, 2013, 06:53:22 PM
I have considered many options, no of which are doable. Since it's interstate commerce I would have to file a complaint with the FBI, and it's more likely that the feds would be up my ass about the my btc instead of trying to track down and prosecute Jay Shore aka Coinabul. I considered hiring a few hackers to track him down and I could take satisfaction from him in person, but that would likely end up with me in jail and still no gold or btc. The only option that doesn't end with me in jail, is for me to publicly shame Coinabul and warn others to avoid Coinabul like the plague.

Here is a tinfoil hat sir,

Make a police report, nothing will happen to you.

314  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTS) 0.43 btc for paypal @mtgox last price + 10% on: October 28, 2013, 05:34:07 PM
hi
will sell 0.43 btc at mtgox last price + 10%, payment in Paypal
we will use DannyHamilton as escrow or any other reputable you pay the fees

after receiving paypal i will authorize the escrow to release bitcoins after a week

paypal will be sent as gift ofcourse

So let me get this right. U want someone to pay mtgox(208.003)+10% to your paypal for 0.43BTC?
And escrow fees is in hand of person who buys that from u?

His taking PayPal anyone who buys will end up getting them for free anyway lool.
315  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTS) 0.43 btc for paypal @mtgox last price + 10% on: October 28, 2013, 05:28:51 PM
You do know that paying as a gift and waiting a week won't protect you from chargebacks, right?

how can i avoid chargebacks then?
what if i spend the paypal funds within that 1 week?
can i get the payment as goods or services (no shipping required) and send a 1$ amazon code or something like that? will that show paypal that the buyer bought the 1$ code for say 80$ and i sent it. could this avoid chargebacks?

Nope, nothing protects you from unauthorized chargeback.

If you're selling via PayPal you might as well just go first to the person you're selling too since you have to trust them for 180 days anyway lol.

Avoid PayPal.
