I believe people underestimate Ethereum and it's worth to the world. There has been a handful of people, even including Roger Ver (Bitcoin Cash), saying that Ethereum will surpass BTCs market cap in 2018-2019 and I believe it's utility is the reason why.
We are so early in this revolution. The value of crypto will one day be all of it, all the money in the world. In an internet connected world, how can pieces of paper with dead presidents printed on them possible compete with programmable GLOBAL currency? Good money will chase out the bad.
Qravity: They’re using blockchain to fairly distribute royalties to the makers of creative works. Today’s Youtube, Facebook and other content sharing sites collect almost all of the revenue gained off of the creator’s time and efforts. Now if cryptocurrency had a 10x higher adoption rate, this type of effect would be very bad. No one wants to store their wealth in something that can disappear.
You all seem worried about day to day market fluctuations. I bought $10k in BTC and ETH a year ago, it's on a hardware wallet and I check the prices once a week and go "Huh." That's it. Things wont grow at the rate they did, not even close - those days of lucky millionaires have long, long passed. If you invested a dollar a year ago in ETH, for example, you would have 50 dollars now - it sounds impossible...
