Last bullrun, people got rekt by not taking profits.

This time around, people will get rekt by taking profit way too early.

Control your emotions. This bear market took a toll on you. Keep that in mind when you make a decision.

We're going to 10k before 2019. Too many people on the sidelines waiting. I don't think we will see ath before 2020, but those 500b market cap are still here. They were here in April/May, it is not new money. It's just smart people that sold in January and are patiently waiting for a reversal. Tether money has to come back in crypto at some point.

The bull run will come again eventually but there has to be some real world application and mass influx of people to crypto not just as a speculative asset but a real world way to pay for everything. Governments have to sanction it and credit card companies have to support it. If that time comes it could mean a million dollar Bitcoin or whatever currency wins out.

I'm currently 70% ETH, 20% IOTA and 10% BTC. I'm planning on buying a handful of alts soon though, but only at like 0.5-1% portfolio allocations, and then rebalance in ETH if the ratio doubles.

I have been in 100% Bitcoin for literally 2 months after losing in alts for 7 months straight, and I finally decided to shift back and take a large alt position on Zilliqa two days ago because of the upcoming mainnet in Dec/Jan.

32 hours after I took my position, I get absolutely destroyed. Not even a day and a half. I just want to know what it feels like to buy some coins and have them go up.

The strong rejections at 6000 yesterday and 6100 this morning are encouraging, but we need to take out 6260 before it starts looking remotely bullish. The chart has a lot of repair work to do.

If the forces at work continue to keep Bitcoin steady, outside investors may just get interested in taking cash out of stocks and investing in this seemingly-tamed Bitcoin. Just my idle thought.

You know whats worse than watching your portfolio drop...it's knowing that the next day all these finance sites are gonna start spreading FUD headlines scaring the World. Bet money tomorrow's headlines are gonna go something like this "Crypto is crashing, here's why" or "Crypto down 10%, is it over for crypto?"...and opinion pieces like "Crypto is dead, here's why you should stay away"

The bears had dozens of opportunities to take bitcoin under $6,000... they failed every time. After a certain point of failing to break support, the bear market does indeed reverse and turns bullish.

This is actually not a bad market for making a lot of trades. If you look at all the coins that are at the bottom of the 24h Chg% list on Binance right now (e.g. ARN, DGD, EVX, SUB), they are all on there because they went up quite a bit in the previous few days. So if you just take any profit (e.g. 10%) and then sell, rinse, and repeat, you can make slow incremental profits.

I recommended BAX. It's still holding up pretty well after a 70% gain. Somebody also recommended Relex to me and I'm keeping an eye on it for now. Looks like a project that could be going places.

BNB is as good or bad as any other coin these times. They all follow BTC, some more, some less without a real chance of prediction except of that your coin will rise after you sold it and vice versa.

Enigma (ENG). It's a long term hold and it's a serious project with plenty of potential for growth. Mainnet launch coming in Q4 or Q1. It's cheap as chips right now.

I like ONT because it is focusing on the tools required to tie existing businesses into blockchains. This “business on-ramp” capability seems like a pretty fundamental need for blockchain success, at least for blockchains that will be used for smart contract/smart economy purposes.

ONT is being developed to make this on-ramp capability available to other blockchains, including but not limited to NEO.

Selling, especially at this moment, is not prudent. I would really rather lose it all then live with regret.

Sure HODL works long term if you have faith in crypto and/or your coin in particular, but this market is so FULL of chances especially now at these prices even for the shorter term.
I think it's only a matter of time until we go full bull again at which point I'd wish I bought more at these prices.
