Can anyone explain to me why 'core' is against this development. Mining with GPU seems such a good thing to do that I don't understand why it wasn't just incorporated into Bitcoin. If that had happened it would be so much simpler. I don't understand why this idea had to get a fork to be realized. Someone please enlighten me  Good thing for what? If bitcoin can have as simple as say fork to fork, than there no security at all for holding it Thanks for addressing my concern. It seems like GPU mining would be a 'good thing' for the future of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. This would take the power away from large miners and give it back to the community - more individuals have an incentive to be involved in verifying the chain. I'm sure you've heard the saying "power corrupts" - well, I think that is true and any protocol that prevents a few individuals from amassing power (like Bitmain) is good. Decentralization is paramount to a fair system for the people and by the people! So why didn't bitcoin 'core' take on this idea and prevent a fork? GPU mining - no good.. I don't get what the argument is PLEASE explain!  The is no absolute GPU Mining, there will be another ASIC to replace it in the future, so do we have to fork time to time to avoid being centralize? I agree that ASIC seem to make miner not distribute well, and bitmain monopolize the market because they have the power to do so Decentralization is good as its the core reason bitcoin being live but i dont think GPU is the right solution |

I'm still learning all the pool things server and such.
I just wish there was a pool based on higher coin values not lower.
BCC or Bitconnect is worth 200.00 a coin LTC is worth 54 a coin I think no pool should mine any coin worth less than 1 dollar US
take zpool for example today lots and lots of beaver coin worth 0.02 according too his site yet only worth 0.000000834 BTC according to true values.
I did some estimates if he used all his hashing power of 610 Gh/s in scrypt and only mined two coins BCC and LTC my average profits per day would be 0.02 BTC
That would be awesome but since the pool mines the garbage coins worth pennys average is about 0.005 or 0.004 a day.
At that rate I might as well shut off my miners because it cost me 5.78 dollars a day to run them.
Its not about coin value, the pool calculate how many coin reward per block and how many block per hour, and the most important is the diff |

I use Dell AHF-2DC-2100W with my Antminers (with self-made cables). Very good PSU. Thanks! I'll see if i can find that somewhere. The problem is with PCI connectors i can't figure out how many of those i need :p D3 need 10 Connector. So make sure your PSU have the POWER and Connector |

I also received the same mail from bitmain regarding indian custom authority not clearing mining equipments, i had words with custom
authorities and there is no such notification from custom authorities , can any one explain the situation ? what is happening ? is it related to
courier service ?? or just some delay game from bitmain ??
I dont think bitmain playing with refund. Its maybe because so many complain from Indian Customer that cannot receive their product because of custom policy. So, the news is not from customs but from the bitmain customer themself If you could manage the customs and get through, you may request bitmain to release your order and ship as schedule |
