307  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: September 10, 2018, 06:19:39 PM
As safe as you're acting with your devices , buy a device that you only use for crypto (for example some cheap laptop)
and don't just have all of your coins on your pron browsing, cracked video games installed Pc.
Also buy a ledger or a trezor
308  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenderism is a mental illness. on: September 10, 2018, 06:17:23 PM
Well , it definitely is according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transgender#Mental_healthcare
That still doesn't make it a non existent issue for those affected by it.

311  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: July 09, 2018, 02:21:23 AM
To make crypto to succeed in the "real world" it needs to be a lot less volatile ( which would suck out all the fun and moneymaking possibility out of it) imho.
Even big Services like Steam and Expedia stopped accepting Bitcoin payments because of this, so i don't think that smaller shop owners could economically accept crypto with this kind of risk, the ones that do seem accept it "only" because they're crypto enthusiasts.
312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KUcoin forcing KYC for every users on: May 27, 2018, 05:23:13 PM
From the https://www.kucoin.com/#/user/setting/kyc

"Notice: The KYC is not compulsory, which means if client chooses not to complete his/her KYC, the client could always trade without any restrictions. However there will be a limit of 2 BTC on withdrawal amount in 24 hours. The limitation on the withdrawal for KYC unverified account will be implemented on the 1st of Nov 2018."

So you will not be forced to do a KYC apparently but the unverified withdrawal amount will be limited to "only" 2 BTC per a day.
It doesn't seem that bad imo, binance has the same system in place right?
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XTO] Tao - Real Solutions for the Music Industry! on: May 27, 2018, 03:58:55 PM
Now that C-Cex is going into vacation mode again for 3 months
is there any promising new exchange listing yet?

https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/999419000697380865

Also you should probably withdraw your tao to your local wallet if you still have them on c-cex, it's not looking good for that exchange in my opinion
314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE FAUCETS BULLSHIT OR NO???? on: May 13, 2018, 08:28:18 PM
Hello, guys! I'm rookie in here and have maybe rhetorical question: should I trust faucets and start one because of several reasons:
1. I want to know the mechanism of trading
2. I want to know it without investing for now

Thank u in advance!
Most Faucets for at least already big coins are a huge waste of time , not worth your time
Faucets for smaller coins can be profitable like when Nano still was raiblocks that would be a good amount of money right now if you had taken part of their faucet.

1. You should check out the site babypips to learn basic technical analysis and a good idea is to find small cap coins with good fundamentals and just hold them before they
hit bigger exchanges

2. I think there are some sites where you can testnet trade coins to learn the basics
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: May 13, 2018, 08:23:07 PM
I'm really optimistic about Stratis and that it will return to former glory
Also Cardano should have a bright future ahead
316  Other / Meta / Re: Activity, Merit, Politeness, fMerit, Imagination, Virtue, Coins, Karma, Posts !! on: April 02, 2018, 12:46:39 AM
This is a pretty good april fools joke imo , as i was pretty confused by it and shocked that we had to go through even more hoops to rank up.
A quick google search made me find this thread and it gave me a mild chuckle
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think younger generation is more open to technology? on: March 10, 2018, 12:55:12 AM
I made the personal experience that older people were more interested in Crypto when i mentioned it to them than
younger people that are about my age. But in general i think that this Statement is true , the current generation grew up with Smartphones and
just generally pretty advanced technology , are more curious (some are naive thinking that they'll get rich quick by doing nothing) .

318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: March 10, 2018, 12:51:05 AM
Avoid, new precedent trying to be set, the more people the give in, then you'll have to give you info out for every single airdropped/bounty out there.
It's very dangerous for you to trust these non-reputable individuals with your information and for the future of cryptos as a whole, yet no one is discussing this.

You can blame Polymath for this, they don't want to work harder filter to filter puppets, so instead they want your ID.

Edit: There is probably nothing we can do to stop this, because the vast majority of people trying to do airdrops are very likely to hand over their info without a second thought. This has major repercussions, some of the worst repercussions we will see ever in crypto.

The best thing you can do if you're reading this, is to not give in to these new information whores, who are more than likely to flip your IDs on the darkweb for a profit.
This pretty much sums it up! I noticed the recent airdrop ID verication process and was shocked to be honest, it's mostly just a hobby for me to sign up for airdrops if it doesn't take enough,
but i'll definitely never give ANY Dev my ID for Airdrops or any Bounty work.
Please people vote with your non participation , it's our only option to not let this take over and get worse and worse !
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Crowdfunding, Lending and Payments Platform on: February 04, 2018, 07:16:25 AM
Devs released on Facebook a first look to an early version of the new $ELIX wallet layout.

That's looking really good , good work as always from the devs so far!

Elixir is regaining momentum.  Last period to buy under $1
I think that we still have some time left before we return to 1$ because of the bitcoin bloodbath currently still going on
and the SEC hearing on the 6th of february ( https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-sec-cftc-to-focus-100-on-crypto-in-dedicated-hearing-next-week )
which could (hopefully not) have devastating consequences
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: February 04, 2018, 06:51:23 AM
There is no such thing as guaranteed profit in crypto.
But tbh if you didn't just blind buy icos lately without doing your prior research, and only invested in the promising , very hyped ones
there's a good chance that you made quite some profit.
