From the time the thread started, we haven't seen everything. By this time you would probably say what happens to cryptocurrency. But, no need to worry. It is recover right now, building momentum and hoping to experience bull run early.next year.

I hope you are right.
302  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lawsuit for concentration camp death on: December 09, 2018, 01:13:23 PM
That is sad and heartbreaking I hate those concentration camps that is not what America stands for. I still believe in this words "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

True, these words are legendary.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: How can blockchain shake up the accounting industry? on: December 09, 2018, 01:09:58 PM
I like the idea, it will reform the accounting industry for the better. Bitcoin is already being taught in schools and colleges, so I am sure those in the field are ready.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 09, 2018, 12:57:40 PM
Seeing as many here (including me) believe the future of crypto is bright, I see nothing wrong with investing now.

Seeing how easy it has been for us to create virtual worlds, give the characters in these worlds jobs and tasks... what happens when those characters become aware of us, without the need for us to program it in there? We're creating more and more virtual simulations for entertainment and work, while physical things become more electronic based. All of our entertainment has been made to not be able to held in our hands. My music used to be tapes, then CD's, now I just own the device that plays the virtual music i buy online. Comic books have become full length movies and making 1 billion dollars each time a new one comes out. Panini is making virtual football cards that are selling for ridiculous amounts online. Reminds me of a mix between Inception and Truman Show. Different levels of simulations created by the one before it.

So God exists.

There is nothing to debate.  We all share the same reality, and if someone perceives this reality differently, well, they are either geniuses or delusional.

Is it possible that these guys are geniuses?  Grin
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: December 08, 2018, 04:41:40 PM
we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/
when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?
and honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin

Good for you, I am happy to hear that Bitcoin has brought some joy and happiness into our lives.
311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Trial of Blockchain Voting System Is Coming to South Korea on: December 08, 2018, 04:39:55 PM
South Korea has a history of supporting blockchain projects, they have even increased the blockchain budget for next year to continue to grow the space. Next on the blockchain landscape in South Korea is a plan to develop a blockchain voting system. The system will be developed by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT with help from the National Election Commission (NEC) and will go on trial in the private sector in December.

South Korea see this as the next step in encouraging trust in a more digital way of dealing with democracy. The country implemented an online voting system back in 2013, nicknamed K-voting. Many governments around the world are considering online voting to encourage more people to vote and taking away the logistical difficulties of in-person voting. However, trust in the Korean system remains low due to concerns of hacking and fraud.

That is great, South Korea has always been known as a modernized, well-developed country. Their actions are not surprising. Thank you for sharing the article.

313  Other / Off-topic / Re: Social media changes opinions on: December 08, 2018, 04:26:46 PM
Social media became the place where people get informed on a daily basis. Some read the news, some find out fancy celebrities news, etc.
But what about the comments people read?
Did it ever happened to you to scroll Facebook and see a title that you agree with and then start reading the comments/other's opinions and just start thinking that they are actually right and you have been wrong your whole life?
I think social media has it in hand today to just change people's opinions or political options. Do you think some sort of filter would be beneficial for us, users? Using AI to remove any post that could influence someone else's opinion? Can that do good or bad?

I listen to people who know more about a specific topic than I do, but it does not have to come from social media. It could come from anywhere. Deleting posts should be for spam though in my opinion, not sincere comments.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin price fall down? on: December 08, 2018, 04:22:43 PM
what do you think about it? my prediction is bitcoin price will be back to $1000/btc in next 5 months or less. since oil price was fall down now and trade war between US and china. give your opinion pls

Its really something that is hard to explain why the current downturn is really massive without any stoppage. For me, bitcoin price going back to $1000 is not something we should be envisaging at the moment although its going to be hard not to think of it but hope is the only thing we have in our hands and striving to make things better in our own little way.
I agree its not easy to explain why Bitcoin price is keep falling and also nobody knows when it price to rise again. So I think its better to wait for its comeback, and have patience all the time because sometimes it takes time before the price increase again. Also no one have idea if when its going to rise or to fall, so the best thing we can do is wait for it and keep believing to  Bitcoin.
I am not so sure that is the case, people are treating the current decrease in the price of cryptocurrencies as a great mystery, as something that no one knows why it is happening, but there have been several traders that have been predicting that the price was going to go down, they did not saw enough demand for the price of bitcoin to remain that high, and they were right the demand is very low and if there are not enough people wanting to buy bitcoin then the price needs to go down.

You are right, there were people making these predictions.
315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: December 08, 2018, 04:20:05 PM

They are delusional because other people don't see what they see.  So by the definition, they are delusional.  Many people in the mental wards see things that others don't see.

These guys are not mentally ill though, they are practitioners of major religious institutions, they are church leaders and pastors etc. We are forcing God into a box by saying that God must do this or do that in order for us to believe.
316  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: December 08, 2018, 04:17:21 PM
Is there a positive correlation between a belief in God and Flat Earth? Logically speaking, it would seem strange for an atheist to believe in Flat Earth, for atheists tend to put their complete trust in conventional science.

You mean, in real science? Logically speaking it's strange for anyone to ever believe the earth is flat.

Lol my statement was not an attack against science, science is not a dogma. The world views of scientists change with new discoveries. Our science is young, we have a lot to learn about this universe.
317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: December 08, 2018, 04:06:45 PM

The fact is that god is not a scientific theory, hypothesis or anything, it's just religion. It's by definition something that you have to believe in based on faith, not evidence, which is what everyone does. Faith is not a good path to the truth, that's also a fact.

In my opinion, the experiences with God are not necessarily based on faith or belief. Some people have experienced true, personal, life changing miracles that prove to them God is real. To them, they don't need to believe in God, they know God exists.

''have experienced true, personal, life changing miracles that prove to them God is real.'' This is by definition faith. It's called delusion. How do they know it's true? They don't, there is no evidence, therefore it's faith.

Yes, but they believe their experiences were real, they don't need us to believe them. They know what they saw, we don't know what they saw. We don't believe them, we call them "delusional"

319  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: December 08, 2018, 11:08:09 AM
not "many", only those newbies who were expecting to become rich overnight with bitcoin are no disappointed in the market because price didn't go up 100% per week! others are mostly happy about the current market because the current bitcoin price is a good place to buy for those who were left behind last year and couldn't buy as much bitcoin as they hoped for.

as for altcoins it is the bubble bursting which is still going on and unless you are an experienced altcoin trader I would suggest staying away from them for now.

I agree, it requires patience and discipline to win in the Bitcoin game.
320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people don't vote? on: December 08, 2018, 11:04:47 AM
I think they don't believe in their ability to influence any decision and election. It could be a silent way of protesting against the current political system, or it could simply be laziness.
