301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CloakCoin / PIVX / ShadowCash / Zcoin - Other Good Privacy/Anonymous Crypto? on: December 12, 2017, 03:36:24 PM
Stratis Tumblebit is for anonymous Bitcoin transactions.  You can't really top that.  It's a good time to start picking up some Stratis because everyone who can afford to will be wanting to buy them up to run their own masternodes and get a piece of the action which is 1% tumbling fees paid out in Bitcoins.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best ICO in 2017 ? on: December 12, 2017, 03:28:40 PM
As the year is about to end , which ICO made you money or was profitable for you.
Bitcoin brought me a good profit. I also bought Litecoins for $ 85, and now it costs $ 200 +.

Bitcoin and Litecoin are not ICO's of 2017 so they don't count in this thread.  Holding Bitcoin since January 1st 2017 probably gave higher gains than almost every ICO of 2017.  2016 ICOs had great profits compared to this years ICOs.  I was lucky to get in on Waves and still hold onto the tokens until now.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make altcoins? on: December 12, 2017, 03:20:09 PM
There are many ways to receive altcoins for your efforts.  You can gamble for them via dice games.  You can apply to the hundreds of airdrops that pop up almost everyday.  You can get some for free on Yobit under the "Freecoins" tab.  You can participate in bounties under the "bounties" section of alternative cryptocurrencies.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves or NEO ? on: December 12, 2017, 03:15:31 PM
I would think Waves is a better investment over NEO because the potential price growth would be greater.  The Waves team are doing great things with the project and the marketing is about to take a step further with a 100 thousand dollar monthly budget.  I can see Waves doing a 2x very shortly.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins prices on: December 08, 2017, 03:56:53 PM
One of the main reasons for altcoin prices being down are due to Bitcoin chasers.  People selling off their altcoins due to Bitcoin prices rising.  This can end up being a ugly situation for them if Bitcoin tanks rapidly and altcoins start to moon.  The result will look like they sold altcoins at the bottom to buy Bitcoin at the top.

With all this Ethereum cryptokitties overload is the perfect time for waves to stand out!!

If we had a similar application we could show to the crypto world how scalable is the Waves Network! And still with ng coming!

I think waves team should do something to show that we are better than Ethereum and Bitcoin, and this was a perfect opportunity to capitalize!

Someone on the Waves team should look into that. That would be great PR.
The bad part is without Smart Contract, it is hard to be a platform for any DApp, You will see the real worth of Waves when SM is born.

Smart contracts will come as it is on the Waves roadmap.  Waves is still a baby compared to Ethereum so the growth potential will be huge when smart contracts are implemented into the platform.  Right now is a great buying opportunity since Waves NG will be released very soon.  We won't be seeing these low prices ever again in 2018.

Have you came up to a decision as to when could be the possible announce for the updates or you guys still working on dates?
Please tell us an approximate date at least for the upcoming updates. The Insane community is waiting for a long time for a good time.

We believe, Insane will be Insane.... because Insane is the new normal.  Grin

Hope to know the dates very soon. Smiley

I don't think we can expect a date for the upcoming fix releases.  The Insane team will most likely just release the update when it's ready.  Any dates mentioned that are not met will not be good for the project.  I think we should still get some kind of update announcements of the development progress to see that things are going well.

Which currency will be accepted during the ICO?

You are a bit late for an ICO, INSN is a relatively "old" coin. But you can buy it on Cryptopia or Livecoin I guess

The fact is, there was never an ICO for Insane coin.  The Insane team is working and developing the project on their own funds.  INSN coin is very cheap right now compared to it's highs which was as high as 10k satoshis.  Once the masternode issues are resolved we should see a nice price increase.

Buying more waves!! December has a ton of surprise for he crypto users.  Grin Investors must have bought thousands just to get liquiditywaves.
Liquiditywaves actually bumped the WCT price quite a bit already. I've thrown a couple BTC at Waves in anticipation of the NG though. Could see x2-3 happen just before the holidays.

Yes, it's a nice price increase for WCT today but it should be at least the price of Waves tokens if not higher due to it being 1/10 the amount of tokens Waves has.  I hope from here on, all airdrops by the Waves team are for Waves community token holders only.  This would be a major factor for purchasing WCT.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: December 05, 2017, 06:18:02 AM
WAVES is really worth holding on the middle line, and the price is going very well at the moment. The friends you like can buy and wait for the outbreak of the second spring.v Grin

Waves is still very cheap and is a strong buy in my opinion.  I am constantly buying and holding Waves.  Compared to Ethereum which is over 50x the price of Waves, there is still a lot of room to grow.  The Waves team is constantly doing great things to make the project stand out above the rest.  There is no doubt Waves will end up being a tsunami.

LiquidWave — guaranteed liquidity for your cryptotokens

Liquidwave solves a problem of market making and liquidity provision for cryptocurrency tokens, especially harmful for new token issues. Lack of liquidity and excessive volatility endanger even good projects, creating tension in the token’s holders community.

All issuers whose tokens are compliant with current regulations should be able to have an opportunity to enjoy guaranteed liquidity and automated market making from liquidity providers.

Liquidity token

Liquidity token (Liquid) launched on Waves is meant to provide a mechanism for market making on Waves decentralized exchange and beyond. It is a utility token airdropped to Waves community, and used for compensation of market maker efforts and liquidity provision for Token/BTC Token/ETH Token/FIAT Token/Waves Token/Liquid markets.

The mechanics of market making services based on Liquid token is based on buying the Liquid token from the open market and depositing it with the market maker for the whole period of the services provision.

It's very nice to see another airdrop for WCT token holders.  I'm glad I have been holding onto them, these WCT tokens will end up paying for themselves with all these airdrops.  Liquid tokens are very rare with only 1 million in circulation and having 80% being dropped to WCT is a very nice gift.  Santa Sasha is in the Christmas mood.   Smiley
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: December 04, 2017, 03:11:52 PM
As long as there are still cryptocurrencies, there will always be altcoins.  It's difficult to group all altcoins in the same category because not all altcoins are the same quality.  Some altcoins will indeed die off and fall out of the cryptocurrency circle but there will always be some that are strong competitors to the king bitcoin.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: December 04, 2017, 02:59:24 PM
i have deposited waves on yobit but it looks like there is a problem with deposits. do you think i can get my waves? should i be worried?

Yes, you should be worried if your deposit did not arrive yet.  There are much better options to trade Waves than on Yobit.  I would use either Bittrex or DEX and even Tidex isn't a bad option.  You can try to contact the Yobit support if you didn't receive your Waves yet, but it's not guaranteed you'll get a response.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trick for trading? on: December 04, 2017, 02:21:50 PM
I don't think there are any trading tricks.  Some say technical analysis is no good in cryptocurrency.  I have seen and made some money by getting in early on coins that started pumping.  You have to be careful and don't get too greedy or you might end up being a bagholder.  Jump in and jump out or stay in for the long term if you believe in the project.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbies on: December 04, 2017, 02:15:45 PM
Everyone here was once a newbie.  All of the answers to your questions and concerns can be found on this forum.  Just use the search functions and also do your own research on the projects you like.  Key thing to do is research the team to see if they are qualified to do what they say they will do.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO good or bad? on: December 01, 2017, 10:03:47 AM
Unless the project was a scam, it will take a while to know if the ICO you invested in is good or bad.  For example, I invested in the Waves ICO and in the beginning things weren't looking too good but today I am very satisfied with my investment and am glad that I held onto my ICO tokens and did not dump them.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Bitcoin *NEW FORK DECEMBER* LMAO on: December 01, 2017, 09:41:52 AM
Seriously, Lightning Bitcoin?  What's next?  Thunder Bitcoin?  Hurricane Bitcoin?  Let's just start using every word in the dictionary and add "bitcoin" behind it.  All these forks will end up making people who are not familiar with cryptocurrencies think it's a joke.  Too bad it isn't possible to ban bitcoin forks or I would fully support it.

I agree...I feel a coin with great branding is being held back by misstep after misstep...The team should work on stablizing INSN first before thinking about other steps...focus on doing one thing well first!

That is correct.  Branding is very important and Insane has a great name which could lead to great marketing strategies.  I am sure there are those who investing in this project on the name alone.  The team should keep focus on only INSN and try to make it the best coin out there possible.

319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: December 01, 2017, 08:32:30 AM
A good platform, but not happy with the fall in the price of waves.

The price of Waves is very cheap indeed but this is just a buying opportunity.  Many will complain in the near future when the prices rises that they did not buy enough Waves.  Waves will be in the double digit dollars next year.  These current low Waves prices won't be seen in 2018.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Small altcoins – large profits on: November 30, 2017, 07:43:55 AM
This happens more frequently than you'd think.  Many times, you can take a gamble and buy some cheap altcoins that are only listed on the small exchanges and if they end up getting listed on Bittrex or some other large exchange, the price would skyrocket instantly without any developmental updates.
