301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie on: February 01, 2019, 02:36:43 PM
How do you tell the bear is over...

The past few days we've all seeing a gradual increase in the price of bitcoin and other alternative coins.. is this the buttom??

Are we all looking at a new bull run in progress??
No, all the events that could have triggered the price increase were postponed to other dates. I believe that in the next few months the market will remain in the same condition.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: January 28, 2019, 09:38:59 PM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
Only those people who did not sell on time feel bad. For everyone else, this is a good opportunity to earn money again.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: January 28, 2019, 08:50:25 PM
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,

1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
Of course they can, but not all.

2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
If the project will stand out and benefit, then Yes.

3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?
Everything depends on the project, if I see that the new coins are more promising than the old ones, then I will sell the old ones.

304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: January 28, 2019, 05:03:30 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed?
No, I'm not in a hurry and am ready to wait at least 5 years)

But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
I do not see market capitalization increase.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: January 28, 2019, 04:31:06 PM
I have about $2500 to spare
And I want to invest into a coin
Please help me decide on one of these coins

1. VECHAIN.                                 VET
2. ICON.                                         ICX
3. PUNDI X.                                   NPXS
4. MONEYTOKEN.                        IMT
5. BASIC ATTENTION TOKEN.   BAT

I intend to keep buying some of these coins with spare Money as time goes but can't make up my mind on which to buy first now

Your opinion will be highly appreciated.

I would buy Pundi X (NPXS) in your place, because the team is actively working on the project, adheres to the roadmap and they have the finished product.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: January 28, 2019, 04:01:05 PM
After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?
I think that the ICO time is gone and STO will be in demand in the future. I stopped investing in ICO, I only participate in bounty companies.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 28, 2019, 03:36:33 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
You can't make all bounty hunters stop participating in the bounty. I think that this problem should be solved by bounty managers, they should negotiate to pay for the work was made in USD, because bounty hunters are becoming less and need to somehow attract new people who will promote projects.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: January 26, 2019, 09:10:56 PM
do you agree if the bounty hunter is paid USDT?
Yes

the good or bad impact on investors and the development of the ICO project, give your reasons
I think that this will have almost no impact on investors.  ICO projects do not need it, why pay USDT, if you can pay with project tokens and not lose anything)
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: January 26, 2019, 07:37:16 PM
Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever?
No, because there is nothing eternal.

How can we make people belive on cryptocurrency?
We don't have to force anyone. Once people see the advantage of using cryptocurrency, they will start using it.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: January 25, 2019, 11:22:47 PM
Hey guys I have different criterias:
1) ICO rating site
2) Design of the site (if it is too primitive and not unique don’t even pay attention)
3) Social Networks and activity there.
4) Number of subscribers in telegram
5) Team must pass KYC test on ICO Bench
6) Huge partners. For example exchanges
7) Hype
What do you think is this enough, or you recommend to add something?
I would add to this list "the study of white paper", but if the project is created by professional scammers, the deception will not notice even experienced investors, such cases were)
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 25, 2019, 10:56:59 PM
These two have been topics of debates for quite some time. Some want Anonymity, while others want Regulation. Either of these two will work best for us.
It will get to a time that we just have to choose between Regulations and Anonymity.
States want to control everything and they will not allow the development of technologies that will help people to be anonymous.

In my opinion:
If blockchain  is redesigned without privacy, everything will work fine. Full KYC will make scams impossible.
What is your take on this?
Scammers will always exist, you can not get rid of them.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: January 25, 2019, 10:39:49 PM
What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..
Also, people may be too lazy to go through the KYC procedure because they are paid very little for the work done.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: January 24, 2019, 07:50:55 PM
Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?
I think that the ico time has passed, no sanctions are needed) people stopped investing in ico, they almost do not collect money.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to unshared bounty tokens? on: January 24, 2019, 07:39:25 PM
Have you ever asked yourself this question?
What happens to unallocated bounty tokens?
There have been several bounty campaigns where some participants do not qualify after being screened, such as those who fail to pass the kyc due to multiple accounts or other reasons, detected bots or cheaters who use other people's details.
Most times, stakes would have been calculated and tokens allocated on the spreadsheet to be submitted for distribution, before the screening process is completed. Which then means that some tokens will be left undistributed.
Where do these tokens then go to?
In such cases, these tokens must be distributed to honest bounty participants or burned.

In my opinion, in order to reward the faithful and sincere hunters, I want to suggest that all the screening should first be completed, before stakes are calculated and prior to allocation of tokens to bounty participants.
So stakes should not be calculated for cheaters.

This is just my opinion, it is opened to discussion.
What do you think?
It seems to me that in most cases someone appropriates these tokens to themselves)
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO reached hard cap - 50 MILLION- not listed in an exchange - SCAM? on: January 24, 2019, 07:21:24 PM
Considering the current state of the market, it is very reasonable not to list the project on the stock exchange, because the price will collapse dramatically - this is not beneficial for anyone.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: January 24, 2019, 06:19:53 PM
The problem with most ICO is the lack of a working product, people have become smarter and no longer want to invest money in the idea.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: December 30, 2018, 11:31:01 PM
HODL for only the brave  Huh
What do my friends say, I think our hopes will be rewarded! Wink
I really hope so) The main thing is to have good coins in the investment portfolio, otherwise the long-awaited increase in prices will not please you, because your investments will not grow in price)
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: before investing speak to a specialist on: December 30, 2018, 11:14:13 PM
Good advice, but unfortunately many people do not have such an opportunity and they have to learn from their mistakes and lose their money.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook to Develop its Own Stablecoin on: December 30, 2018, 10:59:31 PM
If Facebook will release its coin, I think it almost immediately fall into the top 10) I wonder what will be the price)
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOES PARTICIPATING IN AIRDROP STILL HELPFUL THESE DAYS? on: December 30, 2018, 10:49:03 PM
I have been participating airdrop for almost eight months already, and all I have receive is just some of the tokens, sometimes much and sometimes less. All they say to me is that don't collect some airdrops because its a total garbage. But right now, I have to make some investment on a specific ICO, and luckily, almost all of my airdrops got a value, and I collect it all, and I got accumulate almost 100 usd just in airdrops. Airdrop can help you, if you just have to be keen and patient with it.
What is your experience regarding airdrops?
Do you think that earning$ 100 for 8 months of work is a good indicator? I think not. My opinion to airdrops has not changed, I believe it is a waste of time.
