500 - Internal Server Error this is what i get now ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Similar thing here except now I get CloudFlare Error 521. Not sure if this is good news or bad news but I'm leaning toward the latter. EDIT: I meant former.

Hopefully this won't turn out to become another Coinye. And wasn't there a Biebercoin a while back? Would have been interesting if altcoins were a thing back in 2009 when he still had a large following. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Shouldn't it be here by now? I'm still getting the old PrimeDice. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

would be nice, instead of having to load a webpage.. at least for the people who spend a lot of time here.
what about those people who dont wanna be reminded of the price all the time but wish to interact on the forum? If it is ever incorporated, then it should be an optional setting. Also has anyone checked out the forums at Peercointalk.org? They have an enormous price ticker directly in the center of the page for Bitcoin and Peercoin. Prices are from BTC-e. They use Simple Machines as their forum software so something similar to it should be possible for this site if theymos ever decides to give the idea a try.

You guys must have a lot of free time to be hitting that faucet for an entire hour.
Primedice faucets must be the best right now, $360!! thats like better then mcdonald 100 times. Too bad it only last 1 hour.. That's totally not how it works. The faucet only gives away 250 satoshis and 20'000 satoshis during happy hour. That's not the 0.01 BTC people are talking about here. I advise you to read the comments more carefully. It think it's usually 10,000 satoshis during happy hour but sometimes Stunna makes it 20,000. The rest of your post is correct.

Where would the price be from? Preev? Perhaps it might be a good idea to incorporate it but turn it off by default so that only those who really want to see it can choose to do so. It should also be very small and inconspicuous so as to not attract attention.

Is there any way to change my password on this site? I can see an option to hide it and show it but I'm guessing it isn't editable, correct?
EDIT: By "this site", I meant PD of course.

The problem is that with bans they aren't really that defined here. What about the threads in the off-topic section? You can't really be constructive in threads where you're only supposed to post an image, on the thread with a word game, the thread with questions and such. If I have a signature I have to avoid those threads so that I don't get banned? That doesn't make much sense.
I think PrimeDice (which is the one you're on) lets you remove non-constructive posts from the total post count when requesting a payment. I'm not 100 percent sure whether posts like the ones you mentioned would be counted as being constructive or not but personally, I would probably remove them from my count just to be on the safe side. I do know that posts in the off-topic section can be counted as long as they are constructive. For example, I would definitely count this post if it were mine (it isn't). You would probably have to ask Stunna in his thread if you want a real answer though. This makes sense entirely. I have a paid sig and as far as I know I'm not risking any ban by keeping it. However, if I was looking at a dude who might be spamming and he doesn't have a paid sig, I'd say I'm less likely to ban him than another dude who did have one. I mean, for the former guy, what's his motivation? For the latter guy, there's an obvious monetary motivation so he's more suspicious. I'd say though, rather than "ditch the sig" just "don't drop generic replies". Take a moment to write something a spambot can't write and you're fine, yes?
One possibility is that they might want to sell the account later on, but that's the only other reason I could think of.

A Senior Member account has a minimum of 240 activity. You can only get 14 activity per two weeks on average so it takes almost 9 months to reach senior member status. Seems like a huge amount of time to spend just to get 0.4 BTC which is about $250.
EDIT: 4 months to reach Full Member status is even worse (4 months for $70) and 2 months to reach Member status (2 months for $25) is even worse than that.
OP, ever thought of joining a sig campaign? I think you'd get far more BTC that way than by just selling them. Sure, it would take a bit longer but you'd be able to keep your account at the end of it.

The average bitcoin user in my opinion could have about 50 addresses. This takes into account the smart ones, with hundreds or thousands, and the newbie users with only 1 address.
There are many non-newbies who use addresses multiple times and for extended periods even though it might not be good practice to do so. For example, donation addresses, vanity addresses, sig payment addresses, etc.

Cryptsy has a lot of markets but some of the coins with market caps in the top 50 are missing. Monero being an example.
|
|
|
I've been using Cryptsy for a while now with no problems.
Is running Cryptsy a full time job for the site admin(s)? If not, then I can understand why it might be preferable to leave everything to the end of the week. Whenever I buy or sell anything on eBay, I usually do it during the weekend since I'm busy on weekdays.

Could anybody here tell some facts about ducknote vs. monero? What are the differences?
1. duckNote smart economy with its Bitcoin alike rewards and minimum block reward - unique. Monero just copied Bytecoin emission logic. duckNote made their own smart economy structure. 2. duckNote block time 4 min - for me it is perfect time. Monero 1 min blocks cause big blockchain size, lots of orphans. 3. duckNote devs made initial block size without penalty = 32kb, they know what they do, since the very beginning. 4. I can say that duckNote launch was fair and surprising. and i don`t know why, but it smells scam when i look at Monero (botnets, viruses, unannounced GPU miners, bag holders - affiliated with Monero ), i don`t like Monero and don`t deal with it. 5. duckNote offers amazing cryptocurrency features with breakthrough marketing, i think duckNote is a new step. duckNote vs Monero 5:0 this round I think cryptocoin witn name "duckNote" can't be taken seriously by ordinal investors. It sounds like a joke. Otherwise Monero is great name. Dogecoin was pretty successful despite actually being a joke.

It would be hilarious if they posted an [ANN] thread on the altcoin announcements board and was met with the usual accusations of "SCAM!" and "PREMINE!". ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) is this good or bad for bitcoin? i'm not really sure.
Anything that gets more people into cryptocurrency should be good for bitcoin in the medium-to-long term because it's increasing the number of people open to using bitcoin. These regional competitors are unlikely to take market share away from bitcoin due to network effects. Bigger pie, same percentage slice for bitcoin. a.k.a. the Dogecoin effect.

This is simply bitting yourself in your own foot because anyone with half a brain knows Monero and the dev team is legit and has a trusteable background in the crypto enviornment. I still think there is a considerable amount of Darkcoin bagholding up in this.
Monero is a fork of Bytecoin. The real praise should be directed towards the Bytecoin and CryptoNote devs. Monero is just the fair relaunch. Nxt has the same situation going on with its own clones (NAS, NEX, NXTL, NFD, etc.). Not saying that there isn't a need for Monero though because Bytecoin probably has one of the most terrible distributions of any altcoin in existence (much worse than Nxt).

It's possible that whoever bought the bitcoins is reading this thread right now. Most people who are interested enough in Bitcoin to buy $1,000 worth of it probably lurk or post here. I once bought a bunch of USB miners and wanted to ask a question about them here on the forums but waited because I didn't want my forum account to be linked to my real-world identity.

I can sense the urgency now in pd3 lol.
Talk about timing esp when JD goes down.. lol.
Stunna's been way too busy. He posted earlier,"the race to finish PD3 is on". Still no PD3:( If i remember good then he had some problems as someone has stollen the code and/or did not cooperate as he/they should so Stunna started looking into it himself also. Yep, that would be Luckynumber.me: http://www.luckynumber.meInteresting. You can definitely tell that the site borrows heavily from PrimeDice. So if what Stunna says is true and the code for PD3 was indeed stolen then I guess this is what the new PD3 will look like when it launches tomorrow?

10,000 posts on this topic. Considering that 80% of posts on here are by PD advertisers and an average of 0.0008 BTC per post that's about 7 BTC paid to simply advertise in a thread already solely promoting Primedice... Could we please try refrain from too many messages on here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) With that being said I highly appreciate the individuals who post on here helping out new members of the campaign ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Keep that up! Many sig campaigns specifically exclude posts made in the sig campaign thread from the total post count. Perhaps if you think it is getting out of hand, then it could always be an option.
