is it good to invest kyber network(KNC)
Have you researched the coin at all? It might not be worth your time if you haven't already done so.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you explain this? on: December 03, 2017, 09:23:49 AM
Hi people I noticed in the last 2 days a good raise in price from the "family" of weed coins.
Is that dued to some facts or is it just random market fluctuating?

People like to pump the weirdest coins. The weed coins were going to get pumped sooner or later.
I am not in any of them though.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Placing Bets With Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 09:05:12 AM
Do you thing it is feasible to use Bitcoin to place bets compared to the system of using local currency or the USD. Some betting websites have been very flexible in using Bitcoin as the currency of placing Bets.

What I never liked is, if the actual stake was $5 (for example). And the winning amount was $43. The amount of Bitcoin worth will be paid instead of the calculated number of Satoshi. That is usually when the price of BTC drop.

Let's do some maths.
Odd=2.5
BTC stake 10,000 Satoshi
Returns: 25,000 Satoshi

Instead of 25000 Satoshi as returns, the player might get less than the winnings because the rewards will not be calculated based on the amount staked.

However, some people are convenient with the whole thing.
You would get more people interested in what you're doing if you were using Bitcoin. Gambling relies of two people in order for it to be profitable

Who are you talking about? Your answer has nothing to do with what the topic starter asked.

305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's rise and rise on: December 03, 2017, 09:00:09 AM
At this rate i think it's very likely we can end the year around 15k.
That price is very high considering how volatile the price is right now. It's not impossible though.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: December 02, 2017, 06:02:24 PM
My journey started on Sep 21, from Boston to NYC, flight to Egypt then Turkey, back to Boston! Carrying $100 just in case and 3 bitcoins in my wallet!

Fuck If I will ever carry credit card, or cash any more:

1- I used Localbitcoins for cash! Search for best local currency rate!
2- How much I save from credit card fees and Fiat exchanges: $305.
3- Is it safe to deal with Localbitcoins in person overseas? Yes, so amazing nice guys, you are making friends Smiley Just stay inside your hotel! Don't leave! Don't invite someone to your room! At the lobby.

You should try it! & $100 stayed with me! and I spent less than 1.9 btc in both countries!!!

Both countries are safe, exchange rate to USD is good, and to Bitcoin is great! Do your own research...

Nothing impossible, you just invest right, use the income to do something very unique! You don't live twice!

Traveling with Bitcoin can sometimes be fun. Why have all that stress unless you were just trying to test something out?
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: December 02, 2017, 06:01:40 PM
Some countries are all ready going to against bitcoin. Because they have no control about bitcoin. They can not collect any tax on bitcoin. And the think it hamper their national economy.

I think all the countrys are goin to get used to bitcoin and they are goin to support now that im thinking about it. Because , they cant just go against bitcoin like 1-2 countrys and the rest of it flow with it. They got to come to an agreement.
The government is going to go after Bitcoin because they are using that coin to get more fiat and the government does not like that. That is why they tax Bitcoiners.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the BTC dominance in Coinmarketcap is decreasing? on: December 01, 2017, 10:07:22 PM
according to coinmarketcap information btc dominance percentage is less compare to early days.what is the possible reason for that?
Bitcoin is getting more dominance because there is a lot of people holding it. A bunch of coins is going to get traded but its volume won't compare to the original crypto coin.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber & Lyft to accept Bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 06:07:13 PM
Should we start a petition to these people?

Imagine the possibility! I think Lyft will respond faster!
I don't like how they are doing that, though the system for Bitcoin is meant to be spent so I am not worried about it.

313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i participate in airdrop on: November 12, 2017, 06:16:37 PM
Some airdrops want you to hold coin  in your wallet, most of not necessary
If you want to participate in an airdrop, there should be a list of requirements for  the coins to get sent over to you. It depends on the person hosting the campaign.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 09:14:40 AM
Bithumb is shutdown right now. Can't imagine that. Sold all of the BCH when it was $300

You are so lucky, man. I just didn't move anything.
The ride is unbelievable, from 1300 to 2800, then back to 1300, in less than 24 hours.

The price increase is nice but it doesn't really mean anything if there isn't anyone wanting to purchase coins. The price is fake.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GGS] Gilgam.es eSports platform on: November 12, 2017, 08:51:57 AM
So the timeline of the alpha release has passed and no news. The members of the crew has failed to meet the  target.
Thats no good sign...It's pathetic

Timeline
May,   2017:   White   Paper   &   Crowdsale   Announcement
Jun,   2017:   Crowdsale   starts
Aug,   2017:   Crowdsale   ends
Okt,   2017:   Private   Alpha   version
Dec,   2017:   Private   Beta   version
Jan,   2018:   Public   Beta   version
Mar,   2018:   Production   version   starts
As private alpha version they really doing everything private. No news no info. Just couple sentence words thats it since the ico day
Posting every other month is not enough to justify the situation that the investors are having because they don't care for this coin since it's been too long and the developer does not do what he states.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to sell tokens on: November 11, 2017, 11:32:08 PM
I got few of the tokens in mew and waves wallet from bouty campaigns, but how can i sell them? I know to create account on exchanges and list these tokens, but how they pay after sold?

can we get in BTC or ETH?

I tried in searching forums but didnt get relevant answers. I also need how does this will work on waveswallet io

Why are you planning on selling your coins
People that exchange their coins usually use a popular exchange like Bittrex or Polo.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: November 11, 2017, 11:25:39 PM
6 month holding life running with altcoin. I don't get any profit from altcoin. my question is really have any future for altcoin? I just tired with altcoin.please drop your suggestion.
thankss😭
You might have to wait months for that to happen because Bitcoin Gold is not active yet. Once that thing is finished then you might want to think about selling the coins.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best exchange to buy ERC20? on: November 11, 2017, 11:23:01 PM
am a beginner ..so can someone suggest  me good exchange to buy ERC20?
EtherDelta is the only exchange that is worth purchasing coins for cheap because they usually have coins listed before the main exchanges do.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first three days in day trading. on: November 11, 2017, 10:21:53 PM
So after doing a TON of research I rearranged my schedule and decided to try my hand at day trading.

I decided to start off really small, so I only put in .02 BTC to see where I can go with it.
I've been using only cryptopia.

After three days...I'm up to .0338711 BTC! Wao! I'm a rich man! lol...

I was pleasantly surprised that a simple strategy brought steady gains.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out indicators of coins that were about to be pumped.  I looked at trade volume, spikes in value, market cap, buy/sell order history, etc.
I am going about this very cautiously, so when I felt like a coin was about to or in the beginning to middle stages of being pumped, I would buy it, and right away put in a sell order that was slightly higher for a small gain.  I tried my best to not put in too much and resell for a lot higher and the result was steady (but tiny gains).  As I get comfortable with this I will probably try larger investments.

I know I'm very amateurish but it feels good to get better at something yeah?

Anyone had similar experiences in day trading?
That's a good amount of money to make from that trade. Making about $70 per trade is not that bad, have you invested in Litecoin?
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: November 11, 2017, 10:21:27 PM
Hi,

Every exchange adding a new btc, eth, token address on the exchange website.
I think they need some private key to set the transaction on this websites.

So is this private key stored in a normal database?
And is this safe?
It's really up to the person that is managing the website because they have the choice to run with your money. Use the popular exchanges because they are least likely to run away.
