HF-Technisch bin ich Ausgerüstet, Antenne ist bereits auf dem Dach. Ist die Antenne speziell für den 868MHz Betrieb ausgelegt? Falls das Frequenzspektrum größer ausfällt, wirst Du damit voraussichtlich nicht viel Freude haben. Ja, da kenne ich mich mit aus  Neuigkeiten: mein Dragino LSP8 wurde gestern geliefert, und ich konnte die Finger natürlich nicht ruhig halten. Bin gerade dabei eine Anleitung zu schreiben, wie man das Gerät als Data-only Miner in das Helium Netzwerk bekommt. Hatte es mir bis jetzt so gedacht: Dragino LPS8 Setup für Helium als "DATA Only Hotspot"
Übersicht:
1. erst Inbetriebnahme und Fehler die man machen kann
1.a. Beseitigen von Fehlern
2. updaten der Firmware auf den neusten Stand
3. Installation der rs-gateway Firmware für Helium
4. Konfigurieren und Sichern für das Helium Netzwerk
5. CLI Wallet kompilieren
6. Hotspot der Helium Blockchain hinzufügen
7. Standort und Antennen
8. der nächste Schritt, einen vollständigen Miner bekommen
Bis Punkt 6 ist es fast fertig, Bilder zur Vereinfachung sind gemacht, müßen jedoch noch bearbeitet werden. Ich denke mal bis Dienstag sollte ich es hinbekommen haben. Das ganze ist keine Raketenwissenschaft, aber leider auch kein Kindergeburtstag. Hatte 2 mal den kleinen ins Nirwana gejagt und mußte mit dem UBoot alles neu Flashen. Das ist echt schnell passiert, da die Beschreibung der Einstellungen für das Gerät einfach nur ein Krampf ist. Aber, man ist nicht verloren, es kostet nur Zeit. Es scheint so, das man mit Telegram oder Discord (die ich nicht Benutze!) im vorteil ist. Deshalb schreibe ich das ganze, so das andere es einfacher haben und nicht gezwungen sind diese Medien zu verwenden. |

Die cli Wallet habe ich mal Compiliert, und eine Adresse bekommen, Lese auch gerade nach wie das funktioniert. HF-Technisch bin ich Ausgerüstet, Antenne ist bereits auf dem Dach. Warte noch auf den Miner (habe mich Überigens Verkauft, und einen Data only  für kleines Geld erstanden) Hätte ich mal vor dem Kauf alles gelesen.... Naja, zum Ausprobieren wirds reichen. |

Ich habe festgestellt das helium.com die beste Quelle für Info ist: https://docs.helium.com/Hat sich jedoch als Mühseelig herausgestellt. Aber da mich HF und LoRa Interessiert (  ) habe ich mich da Eingelesen. Mein Standort ist irgendwie noch nicht "Besetzt", was es wirklich Atraktiv macht. (Mal sehen wie es bei mir damit weitergeht...) Du darfst dich ruhig mal bei mir melden.. |

Dazu gibt es leider noch keine Antwort, da es noch kein Lizenzierungsverfahren gibt. Die Frage kann man erst beantworten, wenn der Gesetzentwurf steht. Das kann noch dauern.

I may be misunderstanding, let me clarify my set up and what i mean
I have an S19J solo mining currently on ckpool
I was thinking i could observe my stats using cgminer of my ASIC solo mining, if that's not true please let me know
No, you can't watch your Antminer stats with cgminer. I've been running those commands earlier today as i was trying to figure it out before commenting here. When i do this, it starts mining with my GPU..which i currently have hashing away on an ETH pool
This section is for btc only, no support for altcoins. cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u your_BTC_Address -p x
I was hoping i could use CGMiner to just watch and not have it utilize any of the components of my PC
If you start cgminer without a usb miner attached, it act just like a observer for solo.ckpool.org, it will not mine then. It will search for usb mining equipment, but if nothing is attached, it will just display the pool messages like block high changes and if someone of the pool member finds a block. |

The miner is a GekkoScience Compac F 200 bis 400 GH/s, it is sold out in germany, I don't know where to buy it in the USA, in europe it is bitshopper.de. RaspberryPi 4 is sold out mostly everywhere. Use a search engine of your choice and try to find it. I can't give you a source for the equipment. It is all in the README of cgminer: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/you have to enter: cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u your_BTC_Address -p x and on Linux: ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u your_BTC_Address -p x That is all to do, to observe the pool.

I would like to use GekkoScience NEWPAC usb with Raspberry Pi 4 with linux installed, would that be the best option to start?

I would really love to get this view, how do I setup this view? Is it a live feed of CKPool? I work from home and have over 4 monitors. I would love to setup one just with the overall CKPool live screen and if possible one for each miner or all my miners at once. You simply start cgminer pointed to the solopool with your btc-address, even without any miner connected. So you observe the pool using cgminer. Your messages will be the pool messages only then. |

Und nein ich möchte hier bitte keine Diskussion um die „alte“ Boardsoftware als Grund dafür lostreten  Ohne neue Software = kaum neue Nutzer Wieviele User würden wir bei der neue Software denn verlieren (weil die das für Käse halten)? Ich kann am jetzigen Format nichts Aussetzen, außer evtl. die Suchfunktion. Es wäre schön wenn "Sermond Quoter" einen Hinweis auf ihr fehlverhalten bekommen würden. |

Du mußt gar nichts, du willst 0,01 btc Senden, für eine gegenleistung die ich für sehr fragwürdig halte. Das sieht mir aber nach einem "houx" aus, mit Kleingeld geben die sich normalerweise nicht zufrieden. Ich würde auf die Daten verzichten, und das Geld lieber in eine Backuplösung Investieren, denn: kein Backup = kein Mitleid! Melde dich auf Bitcoin.de an und kaufe dort. Oder gehe hier im Forum unter SUCHE und mache eine Kauf Anfrage. Kaufe nur von Etablierten Usern oder Nutze die Escrow von Willi. |

Hi. I've tried using both the . and then the _ and get same result. It still shows network as Dead for ckpool via port 3333. I've tried the other ports too per the CK Pool Instruction.

There are 2 common reasons for not being able to connect: 1. The most common one is that you have a typo in your bitcoin address, or added a space somewhere, like before the address. 2.
