('Reaped' has nothing to do with it)

Doesn't 'Reaped curl' mean the sockets have closed, meaning no communication?
Nope.
The in-code comment is:
/* We reap curls if they are unused for over a minute */

It means that cgminer has decided that a single curl is no longer needed so it was shut down.

The fact that your message says '6' means that it certainly hasn't run out of curls quite yet ...
('6' means there are now 5 left for the pool ...)

Thanks for the explanation.

Tizzy just answered in other thread:

...

My thread states this:

"If I like it enough to use your slogan I'll send a bitcoin your way!"

So far I do not like any of the slogans anyone has given, most of them aren't even trying or posting irrelevant slogans.
The Boat needs someone at the rudder, but it appears TizzyTazzy has abandoned ship, ahead of the women and children even. Would have been nice to get some feedback on which ones were moving in the direction he's happy with, list like.
I can easily come up with 50 a day, but at what value? For someone so uninvolved and careless, it makes you go, ehh.
We haven't even gotten to the cloud words yet. I guess I can cancel the focus group scheduled for June and the mall surveys scheduled for July.

Couple quotes from the documentary:

"History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controling money and its issuance." - President James Madison

"Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws." - Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild (1744-1812), founder of the private International Banking House of Rothschild

Carbon tax will not increase grocery shopping bills, says industry group

Quote
THE food processing industry says shoppers will not suffer any price rises under the proposed carbon tax because the impact will be borne by manufacturers.
The Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott, has repeatedly used the Australian Food and Grocery Council's earlier estimate of a 3 to 5 per cent price hike on food due to the carbon tax during his anti-carbon tax campaign warning of imminent price increases.
But releasing new modelling yesterday, the council said the impact would not hit household shopping bills, because the highly competitive food retailers would not allow the price rises to flow through.
''It is very unlikely food processors would be able to pass on any rises in costs in this depressed retailing market and with a supermarket price war underway,'' the chief executive of the council, Kate Carnell, said.

Is it safe to come back, I see there were 9 gigs hashing the other day.

What has been updated and tweaked?
What is the payout schema?
Do you expect payouts to be similar, better, or less than before the troubles started.

cgminer stops working, these are it's last entries in the log.

Code:
Discarded cloned or rolled work
Reaped curl 6 from pool 0
Received kill message
Received kill message

Sometimes "Reaped" line is 2 hours passing until "Received kill message"
312  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC BOUNTY --- BAMT boot issue. on: May 27, 2012, 03:21:15 AM
Pure Debian does not support all motherboards/chipsets, gigabyte 890fxa doesn't like it while some MSI do. It may be a hardware compatibility issue, check the BAMT site and the Debian site for issues.

Try an alternative to BAMT, like Kano's guide, which walks you through setting up xubuntu, for schnitz und giggles. Wink
313  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator [v0.17] on: May 27, 2012, 03:09:44 AM
A distributed Vanity Address generator might be faster, dividing work across all GPU's instead of one work per GPU. There are lots of distributed designs out there already, some open source but for CUDA, would need to convert CUDA language to OpenCL language. This would make it easier for those with large farms to utilize an address generator without it being a PITA to setup.
314  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [400GH/s] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: May 27, 2012, 02:56:19 AM
(It dawned on me my dsl modem was probably doing it, and I was right.  Once I changed it to bridged, all the sudden I'm getting incoming connections.)
Do you have a separate router after the modem? If yes, then you are supposed to set the DSL modem to bridged, otherwise you lose lots of packets.
