Is it even possible to get scammed by a signature campaign? My understanding of scamming involves an investor investing and losing currency to a scammer rather than making ROÍ from currency spent. In signature campaigns, one would just invest signature space, and get paid with currency. Not really an investment. More like employment.

That's exactly what hinted at you being near the 1:1 ratio of deposits to freeroll total.
If your freeroll total earnings is F, and your deposit D was a little more F, say D = F + 0.00000400 BTC -> Captcha removed because D > F
An hour later, if you rolled again and won 0.00000500 BTC, this would bring your new freerolls total to F' = F + 0.00000500,

substituting F with D - 0.00000400 from D = F + 0.00000400,
F' = D - 0.00000400 + 0.00000500 = D + 0.00000100,
so D = F' - 0.00000100 -> Captcha activates because D < F'

From here on, the only thing that would make sense to win remove captcha again without more deposits would be if it also had to do with your account balance or some other referral commissions C. Do you have any? Is your D > F + C when you have no Captcha and D <= F + C when you have Captcha?
I have zero referrals so I cant test anything with C.

Another formula I can propose that also works for me is considering the Balance B in addition to your D and F
I hypothesize that there is no Captcha IF (D > F) OR (B > 2F), so if your balance was oscillating around 2F, the Captcha would also come and go accordingly...

What do you guys think? Do any of the above formulas work for you?

The week that I deposited 1.3 BTC and lost all, I had ended up with 860,000+ tickets and didn't win jack

Never waste any BTC or reward points on lottery tickets. Its so unpredictable, and chance of winning is ... idk... weird

Oh, I see what ur saying. yea, my math was off. I meant after "11th loss" (12th bet)... I was referring to basic martingale as an example (which doesnt work because at the end if u win, ur profit is whatever your first bet was, i.e 1 satoshi in the above example.

I'm kinda new to the lingo of this. What do you mean by "started with a multiplier of 3"? Does this mean triple the bet every time, or Payout = 3, Win chance=31.67% ?
If you are referring to tripling the bet every time, I think that can be extremely dangerous if you don't have a laaarge balance and u don't start from the minimum bet. I think it's safer to play with the amounts. (Hint: The bet amounts don't have to be common multiples. PM me and ask me for my referral code if u want my secret   I haven't been able to refer anyoe so far)  

I'm still experimenting with my adapted Martingale. One trick I recently started using to avoid dangerously long streaks is watching the rolled numbers and try to predict a pattern. Usually it;s not easy, but a few times, you could detect a recognizable pattern. Example: if you roll the following sequence of numbers:
13503
24679
39573
45012
You can bet almost safely that the next roll would be higher than 50000

Another example of a recognizable pattern is something like:
49321
51893
46061
54021
32023
You can bet almost safely that the next would be above 6000

Then again, the problem with these patterns is that you never know when they change and switch to another pattern or just another totally irrelevant random number  

BTW, a nice technique not to lose your cool is stick to a certain daily percentage increase in balance. I carefully increase my balance about by 10% every day. It takes me about 1-2 hours every day, but I just calculated that in if I keep compounding it, I will break even (make up my lost BTC) between 80 and 81 days from today

I found some claim that you need to deposit an amount greater than or equal to the free rolls amount you have won so far. Other say that you don't actually need to deposit, as long as your balance is greater than or equal to double the free rolls amount you have accumulated. (you can see this info in Stats -> Personal Stats in your account.)

Well, the Captcha or not decision is more complicated than that!

Simply having double the balance (due to winnings) of total free rolls does not work because I have free rolled BTC0.00149102, but my balance is only BTC0.00070584 (so my balance is actually less than half my total free rolls  . On the other hand, my total deposits so far are BTC1.33296526. So if the Captcha removal requires a deposit double of the amount of total free roll winnings, then it would make sense. But then again, my deposit is greater than the current balance also. But then again, I could speculate a lot more theories with my total deposits amount

Are you asking about Hashnest? If so I can speak for them from my experience:

I am 99.9% sure they're mining. It makes perfect sense for one of the major ASIC miner manufacturers (Bitmain Antmienrs) and pools (Antpool) to mine. If someone wants to help me become 99.99% sure or 50% sure, I could provide you info from my payment history and see if we can find proof of mining. (I have no idea how to prove mining or what it looks like).
But, if you were able to manufacture the best and most efficient miners, would you also use it for mining, in addition, to sell it to others?

A lot of people think all cloud mining is a scam, and ask: If you make your own mining equipment, why not use it to mine yourself rather than sell to others?
ANSWER: Like most businesses that need to grow fast, they have to raise capital. One of those ways are issuing shares to their company. In this case, Bitmain, in order to grow fast and make put their Antpool in the top 3 of global hashrate, instead of issuing company shares, they started selling their miners for cloud mining on their Hashnest website for a higher price than they do on their Bitmain website. These extra profits from the demand for Cloud Mining (from customers with high electric cost), allows them to double their profits compared to selling and shipping the miners, allowing them to raise the capital that they needed to R&D and grow their mining operations faster and catch up with top players and stay in top.

Sadly, since they reached the top 3, they don't sell ASIC miners on Hashnest as often as they used to, which also makes sense... If you think about it, if you are already a top dog in mining and its technology, you don't need to accelerate growth anymore and just enjoy 20% of the global hashrate...

They used to list cloud ASIC batches like 3-5 times a year when I invested in them (back when they used to produce the S1, S3, S4...). Recently they have been barely selling any cloud miners and when they do, they get bought off in a few minutes, causing me to miss out on the newer miners... I believe they haven't put up for sale any miners since November 2016...

Of course, there's the hashrate market, where people trade individual hashes (shares of previously bought miners on the Hashnest shop) of various miners (currently S9, S7 and L3 hashes) using buy and sell orders just like exchange and stock markets. Those hashes do generate bitcoin revenues, but you rarely get ROI. In the market you could make ROI by trading (buy low, sell high). Also if you have enough hasesh of a miner (example 12500 GH/s of an S9) when the miner is not profitable anymore, you get the option of having it shipped to you for a fee rather than it disappearing completely like in ponzi/scam cloud miners.

Captchas are so annoying and I'm so bad with them!
I have bad eyesight, and most of the times I roll, I would have to wear my glasses just to see the the captcha, and even then I get it wrong half the times.

This above is the original (unmodified Martingale). Notice that, after your last losing bet of 1024 sat, if the next one was a winner with a bet of 2048, then your profit, after all the stress of the 11 loss streak and almost having a heart attack, your profit would be only 2048 - 2047 = 1 satoshi !!!
That's one of the things each needs to modify in his version of Martingale!

Good advice. I would add:
Expect a tendency to become the greediest bastard on the planet once you have reached your goal (or made more BTC than you expected), and have some countermeasures to self-control
