301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why token pay for listing of exchangers on: September 10, 2018, 07:58:57 AM
well this has been going on for a while now even before i began my cryptocurrency journey. The method of operation is that tokens have to pay a huge amount before they get listed or the community votes for them and they get listed fo free
Understandable, but do not forget that exchanges still charge hugely on fees as well and they make shit loads of it anyway daily. However, this is a decentralized world and it is normal to see people do whatever they please and since they have been able to build a useful and valuable platform, and with respect to how competitive the space is with the number of coins and tokens hitting the market daily, I guess it is a normal thing for exchanges to require listing fees.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: September 06, 2018, 11:42:40 AM
Blockchain is a good technology that will be use as a tool of transparency to every transaction being done. The government should know and develop a system like this on their system. This will eradicate corruption or transactions being made under the table because there will be a transparency on every transactions and how much money is involve. The budget of the people will be obviously utilize to its intended purpose. Would you agree with this idea?
Corruption Always Starts on the politician lol. But at some point not all the politician are corrupt and there will be a change that the government can do this. When government uses blockchain theres can be a lot of money that can be save and it will be recorded so its a nice idea but the point is if they can actually do it because all of them have a different agendas that will benefit is their selves only blockchain for no corruption is cant be done as long there's a politician that not loyal to their country. Smiley

Right! Normally all these so called greedy politicians who care only about themselves will want to find it hard to accept the idea of government implementing blockchain technology since this would bring about a huge level of transparency and will make them accountable for every single thing. They are the same rogues, and unless for a government that is ready to work with a great vision, this would be hard.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tether vs Bitcoin price on: September 06, 2018, 10:23:49 AM
Today I created an idea on Tradingview that compares the Bitcoin price action to every instance of Tether creation.

Sometimes it seems to have no effect on the price, but other times it causes drastic price movements. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think about it. (click the link)

I see most of these things as plain coincidence and a lot of people have fallen for things like this expecting it would repeat itself in future and then they get so comfortable until they start seeing themselves in a huge loss.

The past is never an indication of what the future holds, and even if this were to be true, I really do not see a way anyone can prove it with just chart movements alone. Usually, people will think whatever they really want to think as the case may be.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee Trading? on: September 06, 2018, 09:53:17 AM
I think there is no exchange which has zero fee. They need fee to survive. Some exchanges have game for users. If they have no fee, they'll have not money for rewards. Do not try to find zero fee exchange. It wastes your time.
There may be some, but I am sure that would not be some exchange that is well trusted and used. At least, there is no exchange that is highly reputable with zero trading fees and for now, the only thing anyone can have is a lower fees than others.

For instance binance has been very good for day trading due to its low fees as low as 0.05% which to me is good enough for anyone who is looking for a very good exchange with a lot of trading opportunities.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone gamble in race sports? on: September 05, 2018, 12:52:15 PM
My friend keeps gambling on formula races and he knows all the things that could probably known about it. I mean I do watch it sometimes but I am not a fan in any means, I just know some of the names. However dude knows even the sizes of the tires and which company has what and all that under the hood which seems crazy to me. You will need to understand from cars first of all and than understand the difference between two companies and their engines.

I think he was last talking about how one company was insanely better than all others and will keep winning for the foreseeable future, he kept gambling on that company winning and he won couple times in a row and made a decent return even bet a huge wager and won that as well.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run!!! on: September 05, 2018, 12:04:12 PM
No, of course not. I assume that the Bullish market runs if the Bitcoin price reaches around $ 10,000-$ 11,000. While for now, Bitcoin can only reach around $ 7,000. I am afraid it's just a trap, don't you think it?
Nothing to think except to just monitor the trend to know if it is indeed a trap or not. I would not be surprised though considering the way market has been in the past. However, for now Bitcoin has been  past $7k nd has closed few days above it which is good enough and could usher in more growth towards $7.5k to $8k which is actually the main point we are waiting to see how it goes from there.

The altcoins are looking more like they want to move, but all this is still based on how Bitcoin itself fairs in coming days and weeks.
Right! Judging from the nature of the whole market for bitcoin most especially, nothing can really be stated much yet now unless we are really able to close in the $8k range which to me does not seem something plausible at least yet.

The whole crypto market though seems like one gearing up for some bull run looking at the huge divergence on some of the cryptocurrencies, but this would only be applicable by how far the bulls are really able to go with volume so as to be able to bring participation to the market.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: September 04, 2018, 11:58:52 AM
If you're going to gamble, do it for entertainment, not for profit.

It's a fallacy to believe you can actually make money/profit off gambling. The odds are always against you, especially when betting against the house.

Try to focus on more skill-based games, which take longer to play; such as poker.
It is easier said than done. For someone who is smart, I would rather say they should gamble less and focus more on other productive things.

Whether we like it or not, gambling is something that is hard to concentrate on the fun which is something that is not there in the first place, most especially when it comes to online gambling, and it is better to realize you are bound to lose a lot of money and accept that fact before even starting to gamble at all. Even poker still in a way depends on luck and some little bit of skills but not entirely on skills.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are bounty token distributed on: September 04, 2018, 11:21:58 AM
Hello guys,  it will be my pleasure to learn something very important to me from my senior colleagues that are bounty mangers. I want to know how bounty tokens are being distributed. I did a signature campaign, and I saw $450,000. For that campaign and on the list we are not up to 500 participants. Will that $450,000 be shared among the 500 participants or token worth $450,000 or what?  Please give me an explanation, I want to learn. Thanks.
If the $450,000 is allocated to the bounty signature campaign section alone, then, yes the amount will be shared based on the stakes you are holding with respect to the total stakes among the 500 participants.

For instance if all together you have 100 stakes in all, and among the 500 participants which includes you, you all have 4000 stakes altogether, then divide your stake by the overall stakes, and multiply by the total amount allocated to get what you are entitled to.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Impact of the pending ETF in September? on: September 04, 2018, 10:42:43 AM
I don't really think that there is much prospect of this ETF getting approved in the next month.

We've just seen so many precedents where the details of the proposal are basically very similar, and all of these previous attempts have been denied. There is no apparent reason that can justify why it will all of a sudden get approved this time round.

Anyhow, I think that prices right now may have shot up in anticipation. I don't think that buying or selling with all you got is the best strategy. The markets have matured to the point where they don't particularly care about the ETF being rejected anymore, so prices shouldn't fluctuate that much unless in the unexpected event of an approval. My advice would be to dollar cost average, hold onto your existing coins, and don't panic buy or sell regardless of the outcome.
I do not think so as well. I personally will not expect anything at all related to ETF to be approved this year. This may be a very strong one that would bring an impact to the space either positively or negatively, but if anything would happen, we might as well end up seeing some further delays towards early 2019 instead.

A lot of people still believe that the price is holding at this point; because investors are anticipating for the outcome of the ETF, let's see how well this would go.
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 90% retail traders lose 90% of their deposited margin $ within 90 day on: September 03, 2018, 10:01:35 AM
Change middle 90 with 60 and you'll know new rule of ideal body parameters (for women of course).
Yeah, that rule works and as one user posted, it's usually 90/100/90 but I would say 100% lose can be in less than 90 day because of silly actions or lack of patience.
Also remember this rule: If I am rich, it's because you are poor.
I like that last part and apparently, as one person is losing a lot from trading, someone is gaining a lot from it, and in this case it is usually the market makers and manipulators that make shit loads of it anyway. A lot of margin traders lose a lot since they are never really learned that much, even though they may still want to classify themselves as retail traders. It is what it is anyway and some people still make some pretty good money from it.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price in the Market on: August 31, 2018, 10:44:24 AM
How did you know when will the price in the market will pump and dump. How do you figure what will the market in the next month, I am having a hard time to predict the price I want to learn how you read and predict the price so that I also know when is the best time to buy and sell my coins.
You will always have a hard time to predict if the market is ready to rise or dump because you do not have any trading knowledge, and you simply do not have any strategy to know what to look out for to even be trading the market.

Knowing when you should be getting into a market depends on the strategy you are looking at, and answering all the questions you need to know if the criteria of entering a position are met, without forgetting setting criteria for stop loss as well as selling for profit. All these will require you to learn all the basics and intermediate skills needed to trade and it is not a day's job.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the adult entertainment industry going towards tokenization? on: August 31, 2018, 10:07:46 AM
Many adult industries have used cryptocurrency to access their services. XVG has joined the adult film industry. for adult content projects that hold ico like vice industry tokens.
Exactly! Recently XVG partnered with pornhub or so and we are going to end up seeing so many more. That only affected the value skyrocketing for a while until the whole market started a huge downtrend afterwards.

I have also seen some new ICOs that have been trying to get into this space as much as possible and for what it is worth, it has been generating huge interest. Apparently, we all know it is about time before we started seeing those in the adult entertainment industry seeing the possibilities of integrating blockchain into the adult world, knowing the rate at which porn industry is massive.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a profit with the dump of the price in the market? on: August 31, 2018, 08:28:02 AM
Hi I just want to ask how can I make a profit with the dump price in the market I want to trade my token right now but the price is dump and I need to trade my token so that I can withdraw my token and I need a money right now for my daily expenses. Can someone give me an advice?
Trading and withdrawing your tokens are totally two different things. If you want to make money from trading, then you need to learn how to trade, get a good strategy you are comfortable with and you can decide to play with the fluctuations of your token market.

If you think it is just an easy thing to do when it comes to trading, you might as well just go around distributing your tokens for free as you will lose everything and would have been better off to keep holding it than trading it.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: New report on wash trading scares me on: August 31, 2018, 07:51:25 AM
Hey guys, so i've read a new report on how much of the exchanges volumes are just wash trading and the numbers are way too high for what real users do>.

This is pretty concerning, since the market might not be nearly as stable and mature as we think, it might all be manipulated.
What do you think of the current state of big exchanges and price manipulations that we experience?

my source: https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/reports/
It is no longer news that the market is manipulated in a lot of ways. This is a decentralized space and there is no regulation in place that would be able to put manipulators in check and the big guys are always going to be there to do their thing to make as much as possible.

Nevertheless, there is nothing much to worry about if there is manipulation or not, what is important is that once we start seeing real life usage of bitcoin being used in form of a currency and people start seeing the real value, a lot of things will change.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: August 30, 2018, 12:25:21 PM
Money is the important thing in gambling if not then video game is enough to give that fun needed but gambling is much different the real money gives the ultimate adrenaline pump if you lose the game you will lose your money too so there will be huge excitement in the gambling only because of money involved.
The only thing I can say about this is that, such a driven mindset will lead anyone who is chasing money in gambling into addiction. Sure, it would be hard to say where the fun is if you are not doing it for the money, but we also have to get the fact that, if you focus too much on it, without placing yourself into the reality that you may lose everything first, then you will be so in for it and rather than getting the money, you keep getting into debt at the end of it all.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TOP 5 Altcoins - Aug 2018 on: August 30, 2018, 11:21:13 AM
For me, my top 5 altcoins for the month of august 2018 are
ethereum
neo
eos
litecoin and
cardano
Those are some pretty good ones and safer ones, but for those who are not willing to take so much risk in a highly volatile market. However, the more the risk, the more the gain and there are so many coins and tokens right now that will really give some pretty good boost based on the fact they are so undervalued, have low market cap and can go huge like XSPEC but like I said, it totally depends on the risk each person is willing to take. I still see ADA as one coin that is going huge as well though and I am so looking forward to it.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: August 30, 2018, 10:36:48 AM
I follow latest news from crypto news sites, and look at twitter for trading tips etc. You can also hear about fresh news on twitter.
My favorite news platform has always been crypto news, coindesk and coin telegraph. I get all I need for the day without being left out of what is going on in the crypto world. With that, I can always track everything and even sometimes how the market is generally doing, as well as some analysis on some top markets that is needed to know as well.

However, you cannot totally rely on some of the news, since most are not sometimes verified before even posting it, so I still usually do some diligence if news begs for question.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: August 29, 2018, 07:33:05 AM
To me online gambling doesn't have disadvantages at all. As an except can be counted only a bad gambling site choice, you know, there are such sites to which you can't trust and on which you will never win. Besides that I do not know any other disadvantages of online gambling. But I prefer both types of gambling in the case of poker game with friends and online poker when I have more than enough of free time.

With online gambling we can be addicted fastly compared to the traditional one since we are able to play it at any time at any places as long as there is internet connections. That is the other disadvantage from online gambling among the other impositions.
No doubt! Online gambling has really brewed so many addicts over time than even traditional gambling. With online gambling, at the comfort of a lot of people's home, they tend to end up not being able to control themselves until they just totally mess everything up entirely and lose all that they have. Traditional gambling though cannot be different, but online just makes the process of getting addicted even easier than traditional.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea of buying Ripple. on: August 28, 2018, 11:55:16 AM
I think ripple represents everything against crypto so i would never buy it.

Also, the risks are high, token have very little use and can mint infinite amounts.
This is one centralized entity and I have never considered it as a coin I should be holding for the long term as well. Sure, I trade this market, which obviously due to the fact that it looks good trading, but at the same time, it is not worth putting so much attention on.

If it shows profit prospect, I really have no problem with it in the short term as long as it has good volume to get out when I can. Like you said, it is a high risk for anyone who is trying to go long term in number of years on Ripple.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: German online bank uses Bitcoins to transfer loans on: August 28, 2018, 11:17:59 AM
This is awesome, if the major countries will go on for the cryptocurrencies, I think that smaller countries will follow their examples fast!
That's indeed great news, Germany has been pro Bitcoins ever since the cryptocurrency emerged and now they are bringing in new services that will make the cryptos expand even more.

it's amazing, because a big country like Germany uses the crypto for transactional tools, we should support it, and hopefully in other countries it has the resolve as did Germany to move forward and grow.

That would be possibly happen because Bitcoin os already appear in a small countries and of course it has already in the Germany. The people contributes good thing of bitcoin and they give their best without hesitation in doing it. The country is liv8ng forward to success because of the new trend business which is bitcoin.
That is another good news and development of crypto currency and I hope someday there are more banks around the world will adapt the same kind of bank system because it will makes life easier on monetary system in this age of digital technology since I think crypto currency is the future of worlds currency.
Of course it is, but it would be better if we start seeing more of this in the long run. I am quite optimistic that we would keep seeing some ideas popping up with banks on how to utilize the space to their benefit. Some countries may be slow to adopt this process, but at least for few of the brave ones, it is a start.

Germany is already seeing the advantage this brings and hopefully other banks, as well as other countries will probably see the advantage that surrounds the real life usage of blockchain technology and the crypto market at large.
