301  Other / Meta / Re: Help unlocking my original bitcointalk account on: April 26, 2024, 12:13:18 PM
I'm hopeful an admin can direct me on how I can regain access to my original account I created 2013.
If you are the real owner of the accounts which you're referring to then you may contact the admins and provide in depth details so you may get your account back.

If you own the addresses that you have shared in your posts then those addresses could be helpful for you to recover the account.

Just like acroman08 said, it would be nice if you can share your account that you're referring to as that would be even more helpful.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: April 26, 2024, 12:08:03 PM
I totally agree. But Satoshi's technology challenges financial institutions, and I believe they employ the same, if not more, resources to track him as they do to catch criminals. In any case, this story is fascinating.
They won't be able to track him because he hasn't left any trace of his doings. Anyone who's a cypherpunk knows how to doing getting caught and such a person would try each privacy enhancing mechanism to avoid others eyes.

He was truly a genius and that's why I don't think that anyone despite spending millions of dollars will be able to know his true identity. Even many cyber criminals who did wrong are still not caught, those aren't cyperpunks but Satoshi was, so now you should think on it yourself to see the whole picture.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the Dubmest Thing Ever Invented on: April 26, 2024, 12:02:10 PM
Bitcoin is the dumbest thing ever invented.
If you think Bitcoin is dumb then why you're present on this forum? If you don't like the idea of Bitcoin and find it useless then I believe someone like you should not be part of the forum that's a place for Bitcoin community. You need some research I believe, no I think you may need some treatment so you can understand Bitcoin properly.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Harmful effect of robot to the world. on: April 26, 2024, 11:57:36 AM
If you build a company and you are making 1 million dollars as profit every month and then spends 6000 thousand dollars to pay your works and then you are given the opportunity to buy robots for 1 million dollars that will do the jobs your works are doing without it having faults for 10 years won't you go for it there by sacking your workers.
No, if I ever build a company and if I make 1 Million dollars profits per month, then spending $6k to $60k per month of workers won't be an issue for me.

I would never even think about purchasing robots even if I get one for $100k because they're nothing as compared to humans.

I would never choose a machine over a living human who can use his own mind and has emotions which a robot lacks.

A robot is always going to be a machine, and a machine is created to reduce the work of humans not to take their place.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: April 26, 2024, 11:52:04 AM
Even with current anonymization technologies, the most prominent cybercriminals/activists get caught.
Yes, the cybercriminals get caught because they are criminals and they do something which harms others while Satoshi Nakamoto made something that has changed the world and that's why he's still safe from anyone's hands.

Satoshi was a true geek and he knew everything about the privacy, and anonymity, and when he created and released that anonymity and privacy he did it carefully so no one could actually know his true identity. I know that each organization has some predictions about him but no one actually know who Satoshi was.
306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sr Memeber defaulted 35$ Loan [Heartilly] on: April 26, 2024, 02:11:19 AM
Be it less or much than a $35 amount worth his account rank or not it doesn't in anyway justifies his action.
I know it doesn't justify his actions but it's strange that even someone with such a rank destroyed his/her account for just $35. Although, I'm totally against the narrative of account selling but this user could get 10x the amount by selling his/her account as there are many newbies willing to purchase Sr. Ranked account for quite good amount. Simply, if someone who's a scammer but stupidly unknowledgeable about a forum does what that Heartilly did.
307  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sr Memeber defaulted 35$ Loan [Heartilly] on: April 25, 2024, 03:00:29 AM
He/she literally put his/her Sr level account at risk for just $35 which insane to even think about. Most of the Sr members who are active on this forum could earn more than $35 per week from the signature campaigns. It's the stupidest thing that any member can do because $35 isn't a huge amount and risking a Sr rank account only to steal $35 is insanity.
308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple practices to improve trading (2). on: April 25, 2024, 02:56:08 AM
In trading no knowledge is a waste, learning with Demo is not bad but this should not be the end of learning thinking the knowledge from demo trading is enough to start up the main trading.
Learning with Demo account is recommended for those traders who don't have any amount to start trading, but those who want to make trading a way to make long term profits should move to real account instead of making virtual trades with a demo account.

I believe that someone who can afford to invest $10 per month on trading should move to real trading account then learning with demo account. I personally recommend demo account to only those who don't have anything to invest in it, otherwise I would never recommend anyone to go with a demo account.
309  Other / Meta / Re: Is Samourai wallet now banned from Bitcointalk? on: April 25, 2024, 02:51:22 AM
The Samourai wallet isn't yet banned from Bitcointalk but I'm very sure that it's going to get banned soon as it has already been seized by feds, so allowing it on the forum won't be helpful for anyone.

Personally, I haven't used that wallet at all but it's a matter of concern for those who give much priority to such wallets that give some kind of privacy to the users.

If feds have made allegations of money laundering on the creators of that wallet then at least the owners of the wallet might have done something wrong I believe.

If Samourai wallet is seized the next target of the feds might be that Wasabi wallet. That wallet also claims to offer privacy to the users and in today's world privacy is a crime.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 25, 2024, 02:42:53 AM
Earning money on gamble is hard that's why one should not gamble to make profits from gamble as gambling is not a side job things.
Exactly, yesterday one of my friend who started gambling said that he's made some money from gambling but I told him to be careful because the gambling is not for the ones who want to make money out of it. Sometimes a gambler can make profits and think that he's going to be rich with the help of gambling while in reality that person is not going to be rich but an addict if he/she continues with such attitude.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samourai Wallet seized by the feds on: April 25, 2024, 02:37:04 AM
Feds are against everything that we do as crypto users and whatever makes them suspicious of privacy, they will just stop that thing.

It's the first time I'm hearing that feds have seized a wallet which is somewhat insane but it was expected by many users.

I believe that in near future we may see feds seizing many swap platforms as those are allowing rug-pulls or you can say rug-pulls are operating on those platforms by scamsters.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 24, 2024, 07:17:39 PM
Absolutely! Treating gambling as a fun activity rather than a money making endeavor has really been a game changer for me.
Good to know that someone enjoys gambling as an entertainment rather than a way to earn money. I personally believe that gambling is a great choice for the ones who are stressed but only if they consider it as fun activity, when they start thinking about earning a lot of money from it then things go wrong and such people won't be able to destress themselves by gambling.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden is asking Congress to kill the American Bitcoin mining industry on: April 23, 2024, 03:17:12 AM
That high tax on mining is going to cause so much discomfort for the miners of the America. It's not worth it to pose such high taxes on miners, the reward for mining is already half and the miners may face more problems if they get another burden as extra tax that they will have to pay in order to continue their mining operations.

First year tax is 10%, which is quite high for the miners who haven't yet covered the initial cost of the mining machine or ASICS that they have bought for the mining operations. And, the next years that tax will double to 20%, and 30% after that year. The miners have to move their mining setups to other countries if Biden or the government doesn't reduce that tax.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: April 23, 2024, 03:06:28 AM
The fees of the network are getting high because of the investors and creators who are minting runes on the network. As a Bitcoin investor one should have proper knowledge about it and its network. I suggest you to look for Bitcoin network transactions fees at mempool.space before making any transactions.

The halving event was just an event which cut the reward per block to half and it has nothing to do with the transaction fees directly. The protocol that allowed rune creators to mint runes is the main cause of those high fees that we have right now.

Next time when you want to invest in Bitcoin then you should learn more about the transaction fees before investing money in it. It's always preferable to wait for low transaction fees if your main goal is investing and holding of that investment. A DCA strategy with dip buying could also be helpful.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin For Purchasing Goods and Services Mainstream>? on: April 23, 2024, 02:56:51 AM
Does the tech work enough that it could handle the global market?
No, it doesn't work enough to handle the global market at its current level. When the transactions go high the fee also increases and the current network can't handle so many transactions. On Bitcoin's own network global level transactions would make fees very high and no one would even think about considering it as a way of payment with unimageable high fees.

I believe if Bitcoin has to go at global level for transactions then a layer 2 solution is mandatory to make that workable. The lightning network is going to be very beneficial if Bitcoin has to go for global transactions. The lightening network allows way more transactions then Bitcoin's own network and it doesn't get congested like Bitcoin network.

316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 23, 2024, 02:47:32 AM
But it cannot be denied that there are many people whose goal is to get a lot of money from gambling.
Only a few of those people earn money from gambling because they are very lucky and because of their exceptional luck they win the house edge of the casinos. Most of the ones who look to make money from gambling end up getting addicted to it, and instead of making money they lose money.

I know we can't consider gambling only as fun activity as it can be a source of income for  very lucky people but if we go deep in it then we can understand that those lucky fellows are less than 1% of the gamblers.

That's why I believe if someone wants to start gambling for fun then it's okay but if someone gets into it for money part then they might get discouraged if their luck isn't exceptionally good. I believe that one should look for the entertainment when they start gambling and if they're lucky then they might get some money as well.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading campaigns helps level up trading for traders on: April 23, 2024, 02:38:38 AM
These kinds of campaigns make trading more engaging by providing tangible incentives beyond just monetary profits or losses.
Those campaigns are created to get volume on coinmarketcap. The exchanges that offer such campaigns aim to get all those traders who get greedy after seeing something like that and in greed they continue to make a lot of trades to create volume so they could earn the rewards.

During that some of those traders end up loosing way more money than they earn even by winning those rewards. There are only a few exceptional traders who find such campaigns as an opportunity and instead of focusing on trading volume they look for those who try to create that volume and earn profits by buying/selling at right times.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: April 23, 2024, 02:33:29 AM
do you think that the number of new investors will reduce for the now until the next halving is close again?
No, the number of new investors will increase because the ETF companies are going to bring those investors by advertising Bitcoin on various platforms. I'm sure that it's just the beginning of the new bull run because when it starts getting intense then the number of investors will be far more than we have currently.

Everyone was waiting for a new ATH, and when they got that new ATH before halving event then they started waiting for halving event to see what's going to happen at that event, now the halving event is also gone, the investors will continue to look for other opportunities to make profit from crypto market. Some of those investors are hunting for shitcoins while others are after meme coins.

The quest for taking profits will not end here and trust me the greed of the investors won't end with the halving event. We may see more pumps in coming weeks and we may see a new ATH before the end of this year or in straight words before the end of 2nd quarter of 2024.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the Reluctance? on: April 22, 2024, 02:27:56 PM
It depends on the provider I guess, some providers don't allow members from a few countries to take part in betting and that's why they haven't allowed sports betting in your country. You may try different casinos or different providers to see if they also don't allow sports betting in your country or they allow it. If all casinos and most providers don't allow sports betting in your country then something might be stopping them to disallow it.
320  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: April 22, 2024, 02:23:30 PM
That's the worst case which could happen in any casino whether physical or online. The greedy agents are just like those scammers who want to take money of the gamblers and if gamblers win they try their best to not pay them the winnings.

The agent was a greedy one that's why he didn't pay the player who won the bet. I believe that such greedy people should not get license at first and if they get license then their license should get terminated if they try to scam the players.
