301  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN PRICE FORECAST TO DOUBLE AS EXPERTS REVISE CRYPTOCURRENCY PREDICTIONS on: June 22, 2018, 01:59:40 AM
Does the news follow the price or does the price follow the news. I looked at the price chart and saw June 11 saw a small green candle after a one very long red candle. There must be desperation abound if some analysts can make fantastic predictions in this bear market.
302  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am the creator of an internet project and I am looking for 300 investor in BTC on: June 22, 2018, 01:46:19 AM
Honestly, website looks very unprofessional. I think you should put a bit more effort into it if you want serious investors.

The website looks like it was made by someone who learned from an online coding school. Its a good try but I have the same opinion as eckmar. Make the site look more professional.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: June 21, 2018, 03:32:19 AM
But great tech will only be great if there is massive usage of the platform. PoC is great because it makes mining more efficient, the Dymaxion is great because users can open tangles and use the Burst's decentralized blockchain for settlement. I hope PoCC's plans for marketing will be shared to the community soon. We need institutional users.

With that said, does anyone think that disabling the asset exchange and crowdfunding is a good idea? I think it is.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: What kind of price movement do you want for Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 03:29:48 AM
There's a chance that with CBOE futures and bitcoin becoming more of a speculative investment with the introduction and greater support of leverage has altered crypto markets significantly and reduced the degree to which btc may be a long term store of value. Whether such effects may be permanent or not, who can say? As long as bitcoin's price appreciates over the long term, its good for me.

BTC's pros as a long term store of value has not changed because it is technically still the best coin out there in security, liquidity and development. Your money will be most secure in holding it. Its only in the short term or maybe also medium term that its volatility most matter.
305  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Cryptocurrency application, news, forums, tracking, and tutorials on: June 20, 2018, 03:18:50 AM
Nice app and very useful for a quick look in the market when you are in a hurry while traveling or during a lazy day of lying down and looking at your phone lol. Ty for making it.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: June 20, 2018, 02:54:18 AM
I am worried in the very low trading volume in Bittrex and Poloniex after the preDymaxion and the PoC2 hard forks. I hope the low volumes will not turn Burst to a candidate for delisting. Especially in Poloniex lol.

There was also one holder who dumped millions of coins in Bittrex. What was that? An exit?

In terms of volume, I would NOT worry about Burst being delisted, it is still well above the bottom 10 at least. On the other hand, I wouldn't be worried about Burst being delisted AT ALL, on any exchange. Burst is a truly unique project that has a real world use case and could actually be a potential alternative to different cryptocurrencies.

Burstcoin makes it easy to exploit your hard drive, so it will naturally be more hierarchical. Normally we need a huge financial commitment to start exploiting Bitcoin co-efficient, but with Burstcoin you're free to start exploiting coin on both Android phones. There is no evidence that BURST speculation

The above comment simply makes no sense. Report it as spam if you can.

Okay but what is the main reason why exchanges delist a cryptocurrency? Is it more on how high the rate of commits and pull requests are in Github?

Maybe he is talking about the time memory tradeoff attack. That attack was already mitigated in PoC2 hard fork.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: June 19, 2018, 03:11:43 AM
Hope you have been loading up on them cheap coins  Grin . My guess is that the price will hover around 260 sat for a day or a few and then bounce back up to above the 300's and then up to the 500s. If the 500's hold, The old BTC ATH will be the next target. Whoever is selling (few million plus coins) won't get the chance to buy them back cheaper. I could be totally wrong though  Grin

308  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashflare mining payout is Negative, Withdraw fund now!!! on: June 19, 2018, 03:05:34 AM
Sadly, i can't withdraw it because my fund is not reach their minimum withdrawal. Nothing that i can do for now except wait them to fix this issue, or just forget this cloud mining.

you just should not invest in this site and pray for the situation to normalize and you have the chance to withdraw your money
Yeah i know that, i invest it when the price is really high (dec 2017), well its really profitable back before but i regret it and i already move on from it.

There is the forever rising difficulty and mined coins that halve in amount every 4 years and the expenses needed to maintain the mining farm. A higher price will not save you from a loss because more miners will come in and compete making the difficulty rise again.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! Proof of Capacity is here. on: June 19, 2018, 02:50:58 AM
Ty for giving us the updates on Burst's weekly reports. But can you post more information on the update? It doesnt need to be long. The basic information on the project's development would be good enough. Ty.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: How to regulate crypto? on: June 19, 2018, 02:45:24 AM
Do we need to regulate crypto so that more countries will  allow it?

If a cryptocurrency is decentralized enough then the regulations will not matter. How can the government enforce it if the users can still make their transactions without trusting a centralizing institution?
311  Economy / Marketplace / Re: HTC is planning to build a blockchain-powered smartphone on: June 18, 2018, 03:36:42 AM
Blockchain powered wallet means what? That there will be cyptocurrency wallet apps preinstalled in HTC phones? Thats not "blockchain powered" lol. Thats just a hyped Android phone with wallets of altcoins that you might not need.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: June 18, 2018, 03:29:53 AM
I have another question. Because hard drives are cheaper, have a large surplus in supply and it consumes less electricity for mining then wont the coin using it for mining be cheaper as a result? Comparing it to gold mining, what if gold can be found everywhere and mined easily with a shovel. That will make gold cheaper wouldnt it?
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BURST to $1 when? on: June 17, 2018, 03:11:43 AM
Prepare to be quoted for future reference.  Wink

Almost "Year 1" and we are still so far from the target. But Burst is better than its condition one year ago. Ty rico666 and the PoCC. I hope the next time I quote this Burst will be trading by more that $1.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing the PoC Consortium Stage 2: The Burst Dymaxion on: June 17, 2018, 03:02:37 AM
rico666, can you answer this question? Ty.

I find it hard to understand that mining with hard drives would be unprofitable just because there are lots of unused space. What the Chia FAQ didnt explore is that miners will only mine for a profit and mining farms is a natural result of this.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: June 17, 2018, 02:49:23 AM
My read speeds went a lot higher after starting to use the new PoC1<>PoC2 miner. (3*8tb rig, went from 25-30 secs to 41-42secs)

I will keep using this till all the big miners upgrade their plots to PoC2. If you are a small miner like me you should take advantage of this situation too. Don't be hasty to replot your hard drives.

Would you say that the purchase of your hard drives for mining is worth it? I am also planning on building a mining rig for Burst and later for Chia or SpaceMesh. But the Chia faq on mining said that it will not be profitable.
316  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you own a shitcoin? lol Find out. on: June 16, 2018, 02:27:12 AM
Whats running behind the site besides an automatic response that an altcoin is a shitcoin if its not BTC? If theres nothing then at minimum put some funny jokes or memes as responses, otherwise the idea behind the project is okay but more contentful responses needed.

I'm assuming that there are certain flags on each of the coins, and within those flags is a database of responses that are dependent on whether a coin is (a) a shitcoin, (b) a semi-shitcoin, or (c) not a shitcoin, or something along those lines.

Hahahahaha! This is a brilliant way to collect targeted emails Smiley I checked a bunch of my coins and there was one coin under the ''MegaShit'' category.

My sentiments, exactly!

I know that there really isn't a purpose for this site besides novelty, but it's quite humorous; I've forwarded it to all my crypto friends and they all got a good laugh out of it Tongue

Is that what the site really is doing? Maybe we should gather all emails of shitcoin developers and use that lol.

Blast77, go to /r/burstcoin to get quick answers from expert miners. I think some of the PoCC developers also mine, so they might be able to help.

Less than 200 blocks to go before PoC2 is active!

319  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Future of Economy! on: June 15, 2018, 04:42:29 AM
Now we can see some countries are regulating bitcoin and some government don't like it.Otherwise Bitcoin hasn't a stable price.
So my question is can bitcoin be a main currency of world economy?

You will never have the answer because you are asking the wrong question. Its not whether BTC will become the world's "main currency", but whether the technology can help us to invent a better form of currency. The answer to that would be a "yes", if you ask me.

320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: June 15, 2018, 04:32:50 AM
A trader dumped millons of Burst down to BTC.00000205 in Bittrex. He must be expecting the whole Burst community to follow him but we didnt lol. Was that trader our friends from Burst Nation?

With that said, Burst did not live this long to die. What it displayed is that all the hardships endured by the project made it stronger.
