3001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 17, 2020, 05:28:42 PM
In every type of investments there’s always a risk, investing in crypto is no difference consider it a double risk if you fail to understand where your putting your money is. As much as possible investors should learn how to diversify portfolio and not only focus on few investments.
Understanding and having a full knowledge on the investment you want to make is the very first thing to do before taking such investments. Although investing into crypto has a high risks, but if you are aware on the project or platform where you are putting your money makes the risks lessen. And never focus on a single investment of course, because if that single invetment fails, your whole world will surely collapse too. Take some time to diversify your portfolio and still DYOR before doing it.
3002  Other / Off-topic / Re: The New Normal on: July 17, 2020, 04:52:56 PM
Exactly that's what I wanted to created a thread about it. The situation you just said about it and called it normal is a new situation for everyone in all over the world. Firstly, we can't be sure if there will be any cure for covid-19. Also, even if there is a cure or vaccine the world after covid-19 period will be never same as the world before it. The new normal is the new normal in economy and healthcare. Everything would change a lot. However, theoretically, the world is changing everyday by facing the new stuff happen on it but this crisis is a deal and going to change lives much more than everyone can expect of it.
This new normal situation is definitely a life changing for everyone because we cannot live anymore what we used to do. There are certain changes that have made our lives better just like staying at home often when we don't have necessary things to do outside. Although our lives keep on changing every now and then, but this pandemic forced us to develop new positive things that will make our lives better.
3003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get robbed by something you don't fully understand on: July 17, 2020, 12:05:00 PM
I still don't understand why many newbie invest in good names instead of good project, mere hearing Gold attached to the Project name, they will rush to invest on it without doing their research to be sure if the project is really what it was called.
Greed is really present in every investor but it's up to that investor if he will limit his greediness or totally ruled by it. A token that is backed by gold is definitely an investor must have but if you will analyze it deeply, you are only giving your hard earned money just for a coin that you don't even know it's real value. Be knowledgeable on the things that you don't fully understand so you won't be wasting your money on something you are not even sure of.
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still falls for Bitcoin doubling scheme and fake giveaways on: July 17, 2020, 11:30:19 AM
Yep i feel bad for those people who lost their money because of this giveaway trick. Also, i dont know why they believe on that. I mean its obviously a scam why people still get trapped. Its 2020 i though people way more smarter.
Crypto community is starting to be educated but still some of these people particularly newbies can't get rid enough from scammers. They are still lured by those giveaways and too good to be true offers and these scammers are actually using legitimate accounts so that newbies will easily believed on them.
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: July 17, 2020, 10:04:57 AM

I guess what mostly affects home-court advantages are only Baseball and Basketball since playing Soccer always feel like they are at their own home and its just a matter of confidence on which team are able to pull off some better tactics on how to play it on that field. Basketball is different since they can practice at their own courts which enables them to have sort of a better vibe on what to do on those spots which is the same for Baseball but not that much.

Soccer games are always plays on fields of grass and I guess they will surely feel the same as always and just depend on the audience to boost their morale since there are large arenas of them.
Actually I believe thar audience on the home courts always boost the morale of the home team, it is all the same whatever game they are playing. The cheers of the crowds make most of the home players comfortable, meanwhile the distractions made by the live audience against the players of the away team, most of the time makes them to feel and think differently in a negative way. Resulting them to lost focus on the game and more possibly lose the game. But not all players are affected by live audience. Some are really focused on the game and you can't distract them speciall if they are on fire!
They have been doing that all the time, so these teams are already get used to it, it might affect them but not that much.
What I believe would really give the team a boost is the fans of the home team, they are the reasons why the home team are playing hard to win because they are inspired by their fans and they see the support, but for the opposite team, not really that much, although the boo can be heard inside the arena but they just play professionally and always stick with the game plan. Now, it's not fun but it's interesting to see games without a crowd.
3006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu on: July 17, 2020, 09:44:13 AM
Jeff Horn is not really a good boxer IMO, he relies heavily on his power and with some dirty technique, so it's hard for Tim Tszyu if he let this fight goes until the end of 12 rounds, you know, Hon might win in the eyes of the judges. That loss of Horn against Crawford was really devastating, it prove that he is not a top class fighter yet.
3007  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 16, 2020, 11:50:26 PM
People now jocularly say, "The Chinese ate their meal but the rest of the world now washes hands even without partaking in the meal." The lesson most of us should learn from this pandemic is "Personal Hygiene", and it's obvious people are already sticking to it. I will want to see a situation were various governments of the world will make sanitation and personal hygiene a legal matter, and defaulters punished. Thereafter, outlets, malls, business and government premises should be made to keep up with sanitation even after the pandemic has been combated and ended. Yes, quite alright, I known it costs money to put up and maintain that but it has also saved a lot of lives and also remember, cleanliness is next to godliness, as they say.
Yes. This sanitation and personal hygiene should still be observed continuosly even if this pandemic has ended. There are still a lot of contagious diseases that need to combat every now and then aside from corona virus. We should not wait for another pandemic to come along so we should start taking considerations seriously about this personal safety measures so we can be more safe and secured all the time.
3008  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Pray for an Economic Crisis! on: July 16, 2020, 11:26:01 PM
Despite the economic crisis, there is no 100% guarantee that cryptocurrency will be the first choice of economic solutions. if there is a global crisis, the country can provide solutions such as isolating the country, making monetary policy, etc. most people even sell assets and owe money to survive. so we must always pray for the best
With the current pandemic we are facing, we are opening the world of crypto to millions of people who have lost their jobs due to economic crisis. The government is helping their people but it won't be enough in the long run so these people should also find ways to make an income for their own. Crypto is not the first choice solution during this economic crisis but it's a blessing in disguise for crypto to be recognized these days.
3009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 16, 2020, 09:03:16 AM
I really wish the good years of cryptocurrency can come back, everything was cool and smooth in 2016-2017, years of good projects, nothing like rapid ICO Scam, investors was very safe until early 2018 when alot of people started flooding crypto community with scam project. Am sure better days of crypto will surely comes back.
we all hope like that. I really hope that this year or 2021, things can return to the conditions of 2017/2018. some people think that halving will make his condition almost achieve it. it's just that, if the conditions return, I think the conditions are not as good as in 2017/2018.
Things have been very great with those previous years and i think there are still chances that this crypto market will be very bullish again but definitely not this year. Investors have become smarter these days and even if scam projects are still flooding, there are still a lot of ways where we can avoid them. Crypto continues to evolve and we can expect better days for crypto in the years to come.
3010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 16, 2020, 08:28:10 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?
Because all you wanna gather information about the bad news and you are not looking in good side.

Look at ethereum,Binance and even EOS.are they been talked as shitcoin or dead coin?
Sometimes it is our desire that made us stupid.

Trust is also what you need to progress here so better give it to the coins or stop looking for a chance to invest here.
Do not focus on the negative side of altcoins, instead look for its brighter side. Bitcoin is really profitable and this is why majority of the people are into bitcoin investment but if you want to be more profitable, invest also in potential altcoins that are on top on the list of coinmarket cap. Make a deep research about altcoins and how promising they are and don't just rely on what other people's opinions.
3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 16, 2020, 07:58:01 AM
Perhaps, they continue that sports event because they need an income for their country, so they allow the sports event to do that with the term and conditions. I am sure that the government already thinks about the spread of the virus in that sports event, and they will try so hard to protect all people who are involved in those sports events. We can only hope that sports events will not have a problem with the spread of the virus, and people can back to their homes with safety.
Until now I have not seen the news about being infected with the virus after the sporting event has finished so all is well as long as it must comply with existing protocols and I am sure the government has tested the feasibility of the sport being opened so that no one is infected in Covid-19.
Sport is important in the government economic industry so it paves the way for any sport to be reopened.
If you are familiar with the NBA, there's a lot of players and staff who are already infected, but that was during in the process or before they travel to Orlando, but there's always the risk here, so let's hope that once the league formally resume their season, there would be no more infections that will be recorded.
3012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetBit Casino Gone? on: July 16, 2020, 07:39:22 AM
No reply and no announcement, I am afraid they are into an exit scam here. I tried to visit the site but I also can't access it, so there's must be some problem with them, I don't want to conclude also but at least you guys has to ready yourself to accept the reality.
3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters complains and they listens on: July 15, 2020, 09:55:59 PM
Honestly, i believe you are right about the bounty detective and bubbablex bounty team, but i do feel that every bounty manager has a listening ear; it all depends on the approach of the bounty hunter; if bounty hunters can learn to respectfully table their concerns or complains to the group chat, tagging the bm, or the bm private message; there are good chances of been responded to and adhered.
Yes. I still believe there are still some bounty managers out there that have good listening ears for their bounty hunters. Sometimes bounty hunters should also learn how to communicate to their bounty hunters in a positive and respectful way so that they can also be respected in return. It's just a matter of good interaction between the bounty hunters and the bounty manager so that everyone's concern will be personally addressed.
3014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 09:28:10 PM
so far it's just news. Paypal needs to be able to implement the use of cryptocurrencies in its service and face into problems with the interaction with the authorities.
If this will happen sucessfully, then it will be a big step for crypto even if we knew before that Paypal was against crypto and suddenly it's already adopting crypto services now. Promotion for crypto and its road for mass adoption could be much easier knowing Paypal that is mostly trusted by many people when it comes to financial services.
3015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: July 15, 2020, 10:42:33 AM
It's simple. When you go to a bar you know that you will spend money there. In return, you will get good emotions from socializing with friends and drinking. I go to the casino the same way. However, in the casino, I still have a chance that the "bartender" will return my money and in a larger amount than I gave him)
Very clever explanation, I think that's only good if you have the discipline, otherwise you are not going to enjoy if you get addicted or you were too emotional that led you to gamble all your money, this is the risk why some can't see it as a way to socialize with people, its just too risky.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 15, 2020, 09:43:34 AM
I think everyone who watches the 2020 NBA Season feels that the Lakers will really take it all BUT for some reason, we know that the underdogs or other teams are not gonna let that happen because everybody got their pride on the line. I still think that whatever comes in the way of Lakers, they will try to overcome the challenges and personally, I also wanted the Lakers to win a championship again.
Lakers is no doubt the best team in the NBA right now, although they didn't hold the best record in the NBA in overall but Lebron is a proven champion, plus they have Davis who had a playoff experience and very hungry to win a championships.

In sportsbook they are the favorites so they might likely win, but you are right, there are underdog that could give a surprise, like the NUggets or the Clipperes.

They are, and what I like with Lebron James now is that the Lakers has a great chemistry and Lebron does not need to do it alone this time unlike in the past that he usually carry the team to win, he got Davis on his side who is a dominant big man, this man can dropped 20 to 30 points, depending on the need, so they really are a threat. I feel that the competition this playoffs and in the NBA finals is better compared to the previous.
3017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eye opening advice about crypto projects on: July 14, 2020, 11:55:09 PM
Utility is the best part to take very serious when investigating any new projects, this is what will determine how long the project will survive in today's market, investors are now smart, once they see that a project have no good demand in the market they will go for other project
utility means the usability for the platform to adopt its token and give it the utility usage that any holders can also take the advantage from their tokens. This is a very important thing that more than a technical thing. This is related to the product development
If a project has a great utility, it will surely attract more investors to invest in a project. A lot of crypto projects nowadays were launched but only few of them have good utilities and those only remained in the market. Trust is also a great factor to build up into investors and the developer of the project because without it, the token of the project will remained zero value.
3018  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: July 14, 2020, 09:19:13 PM
the pharmacy industry will take alot benefit from this pandemic. they will produce more drugs that support body health. besides that there are still some sectors that gain profits such as online meting applications which is there will be a lot of people who will use it because of the work from home policy.
Pharmacies are supposed to gain more benefits from this pandemic because this entails high sales but unfortunately, stocks at this moment are very much delayed due to corona virus and some of those essentials are even out of stocks. I believe online businesses have gained higher profits this time because most of the people nowadays are only making transactions online.
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth going for me? on: July 14, 2020, 08:47:44 PM
It is hard to tell if it is worth it or not. Scrolling from their twitter they will be listed on probit and exmarket which is both sh*t low volume exchanges. This sold-out they are saying there is no real proof of it. They can tell sold out even it is not, So many projects before telling they reach hard cap but actually they didn't they just want to make hype to attract more investors. Maybe I am really too hard on them but I am not really into new projects now, maybe if they can launch binance IEO the decision is only yours to make.
I am not familiar with this project but their strategy used like this turbo sale is one way to trap investors with their own selfish goal. Do not be lure whatever promotions they offer because you might put your own money at risk when this project suddenly vanish. Try to make a deep research first in everything you do so you won't have to make regrets at the end of the day.
3020  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 14, 2020, 08:22:05 PM
Physical cash won't be replaced no matter how fast technology is growing.
1. Physical cash/currency is the symbol of a country
2. It is used for day to day transactions that mostly doesn't require technical support and help.

I would have listed a lot of other factors to put into consideration but those are the basic ones,
Even if we are heading into a cashless society especially that it is needed most in this pandemic time, i cannot give a definite time when will this physical cash will be phase out. Majority of the people are still into physical cash transactions day by day and turning this into a cashless one might give hard time for all those regular people who are only used to this. Cashless transactions might be adopted in some countries but i don't think this physical cash transactions will definitely vanish.
