2  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: February 03, 2024, 02:24:44 PM

Great step for reaching out the local people to introduce their casino to them and for sure this will give plus points to them knowing also that they already sealed up some partnership with one of the famous sport personality in Philippines. For sure they can get his support from that country also those who follow Pacman outside of Philippines.

Now since they are running a nice campaign maybe they should think about getting those famous influencers in social media to help them market their casino. Since there are so many people that and if bk8 will also partner with those guys or even spread their words more on social media then there's huge chance for them to became more a successful casino.

Philippines has a lot of local gamblers customers for online casino. Even the popular scam casino 1xbit is still being use by many local players in our country without knowing the real reputation of this casino.

I’m so glad that BK8 finally started to reach our country officially and I hope that they start doing partnership with our local streamers that is the one that controls what casino will be use by their followers. There’s a lot of scam casino in our country that come and go right after getting many deposits that’s why I never play on any local online casino here. Seeing MP as endorser brong confidence on this casino.
There's a lot of existing sportsbook as well with competitive odds. Most of them have added gcash for payment method, so it's easy to gamble. However, this sportbook is quite different, they have an edge over the others as in terms of popularity (you know it's a popularity contest) this one should become the most popular in the long run as Manny Pacquioa is partnered with this casino.

Perhaps getting more vlogger to promote the site would also help to increase it's exposure, you know, more gamblers knowing this site, the more they'll get better audience in the Philippines.

On the license part, I'm just curious, where you guys got your license to operate in the Philippines? Did you happened to get a license from PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) which is the only license provider in the PH for gambling businesses?

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: January 31, 2024, 11:59:44 AM
unfortunately, instead of succeeding in doubling his money, he lost all his money because he lost in the online slot application
What is this? Is this a kind of game like a slot that are available on online gambling sites or casinos?

The valuable message that can be taken from my friend above is never take risks to gamble to pay off your debts, the pressure is very big, the chance is very small that you can pay off your debts, often you end up losing even more and losing your money. look for loans, sell your valuables or look for part-time work to pay off your debts, is a good way rather than playing the small money you have in gambling

The rules are very simple, yet we make it complicated. It's never gamble what you can afford to lose, and borrowing to gamble already break the rules. Well, there are people who makes stupid mistakes like this because they are so courageous, optimistic, whatever you call it, but stupid because they only see the positive outcome, unfortunately it's the negative that happened. It should be a lesson learn.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 06:13:31 AM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 07, 2024, 11:33:54 AM

I don't think so, my advice for anyone that want to go this strategy is to be prepared for loses, it's very possible to lose and also all in one swipe, with $50 I will still go many rounds in a slot machine instead of risking it all at once.

Don't expect too much to win, although you are so focus with the reward, but with less than 1 percent chance of winning, you need to be the luckiest man in the world to win this big amount of money. It's a progressive jackpot, if it wasn't won that time, it will continue to increase.

And what if the time will come that your $5 could win $42 million, would you be willing?

Personally, for me, I think it's worth a try, at least once a week, who knows? Smiley
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 01, 2024, 10:35:02 AM
Just recently reported that Pacman announce his fight with Mayweather this year.

For the information of everyone, this is just an exhibition fight, and I think it will be after his fight with Buakaw which will happen in April 2020.

I believe, this is the biggest exhibition match and could potentially break another PPV record.

Quote
Mayweather vs Pacquiao II is set to happen on a RIZIN card in 2024, according to Manny Pacquiao and RIZIN boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara.

The announcement was made on New Year’s Eve in Japan as Pacquiao attended as a special guest.

“Pac-Man” stated he had permission to confirm the fight when taking to the microphone.

“I hope to see you in Japan in a big fight against Floyd Mayweather,’ Pacquiao stated. “I’m excited for that.”

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which one is better, parlay or teaser bet? on: January 01, 2024, 09:27:37 AM
There has been discussions already about parlay and bet builder. So I was thinking maybe I'll also create one to know which one of these two sports bettors usually do, and which one is more profitable.

Maybe let's start with its definition as I believe there are still sports bettors here who have no idea about parlay and teaser.

What Is a Parlay Bet?
Quote
In sports betting, a parlay bet is made when a bettor makes two or more bets and combines them into one wager. Depending on the sportsbook or the region, these bets may be called “accumulators” or “multis.”

The gambler must win every small bet to win the parlay bet, and losing just one of the smaller bets loses the parlay. A sportsbook commonly provides larger payouts for adding more games to each parlay. Parlay bets are riskier since they comprise many individual chances but give a bigger payout if all individual wagers win.

What Is a Teaser Bet?
Quote
In sports betting, a teaser bet is a type of parlay bet. In a teaser bet, the bettor is allowed to change the point spread for a game, making the bet easier to win. In exchange, the sportsbook will lower the payout due to them if they win.

The most common teaser is a two-team, six-point football teaser. For this teaser bet type, the bettor can adjust point spreads for the two games but will realize a lower return in the event of a win. And just as in a standard parlay bet, both teams must cover these new spreads in order for you to win and for your teaser bet to pay out.

Teaser bets are most common when betting on football, and slightly less so in basketball. They can involve two teams, or many more—some sportsbooks allow up to 10 bets in a teaser. As with any type of parlay bet, teasers can generate large returns, but they are also risky.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting on sports, which one to choose -110 or +110? on: December 29, 2023, 04:50:25 PM
My favorite betting odds are between 1.90 to 2.05 although sometimes I extended it to 1.85. So yeah, I prefer the -110 which is like the 50/50 without the house edge. But I don't see much difference between -110 or 1.91 and +110 or 2.10.
50/50 on the game, maybe, but in terms of payout, it's never 50/50 when you bet on -110, because you need to risk $110 usd to win $100. That's a big disadvantage on our part, perhaps we can call that 10% or additional $10 of our bet to win $100 as a house edge and if we aren't exceptional, we would easily lose games.
We aren't experts here, so we can't say what's right or wrong. Let's just make a judgement based on our experience, or the outcome of our gambling. So regardless of what strategy we are using, as long as we feel comfortable using it and very confident with the outcome, we should stick with it.

The thing is, if -110 or +110 guarantee a winner, then only one should have exist, the other will not be use by gamblers.
Reality now is that it's still used now, some loves to bet on favorite, while some on the underdog.

I don't know the reason behind while most of the videos I see online are using -110 per bet most of the time, probably this gives a higher percentage of winning, but 53% win rate for long term is not gonna be easy in actual practice.

Probably that's just the standard, or a way for the sportsbook to call it one so they'll continue to rip that juice, regardless on what side will win.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What gives high winning percentage for you, spread or total? on: December 29, 2023, 04:25:46 PM

BTW, poll has been added,  please everyone vote between the two.

I'm proud to be the first poster to vote on the poll.  Grin

By the way, my answer is spread of course. Since I'm more familiar to a team and it's easier to cap games using spread than total. Just like @inthelongrun mentioned, it's another work, and since we don't gamble to be stress, we don't want to work so hard on that stats, just play the game, and observe, of course never forget to enjoy.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 29, 2023, 02:52:33 PM
If all people prioritized financial stability before starting a family, the world would be a better place. Although I am not saying that starting a family even if the finances aren't secured yet will fail, there's still the chance of being successful. But it's just different when someone is in a financially stable condition, the chances of having a better family and becoming more successful are high.

I know there are still many people who believe in the old ways like we should get married before 30. I don't agree with it. Modern countries usually average over 30 years old when their people get married. And so it's proven rather than the old beliefs that has to change.
If you marry before 30 years of age these days, you will miss a lot of opportunities that you might suppose to enjoy at your mid 20s. So I don't see it significant as well following that old trend. However, its also a case to case basis. If you are an inheritor of a rich family, then there's no reason to delay your age before marrying, or you own an executive position in a company, then you can marry even before 30s. But if you're a minimum wage earner, then save a lot first and find a more stable job before settling down.

Being financially stable is crucial when you plan to enter marriage. Its still different when you can provide your spouse and your future children the quality life they deserved. The marriage will work even more and the family will be a lot happier and healthier compared to those who decide to marry unprepared.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: December 29, 2023, 01:58:52 PM
While it's easy to study and learn trading, but the hardest part is how to make your trades successful and profitable every time you decide to trade. That is why a lot are passionate to trade but once they incur consistent losses, they start to think if they can be good enough in trading, or just decide to focus on long term hodling for good. Yes, anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader, but that anyone should not only be passionate but should also have the high knowledge and experience when it comes to trading.

Anyone can be a trader but not anyone can be fearless in trading. Hence, it takes a lot of courage and perseverance so you can be a sustainable trader throughout your trading journey.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 29, 2023, 12:57:59 PM
The problem is, not everyone is interested to invest in bitcoin. Probably because they still think that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, and would still end up losing their capital if they risk investing in bitcoin. People instead think that gambling is way more reliable and profitable than bitcoin investment, but only realized in the end that there's no big winner in gambling, only big loser. And only those who have been gambling for quite long understand it, as their losses have clearly outnumbered their profits.

Reality is Bitcoin will give us hope if we are also hopeful throughout the process. But for those who invest just to satisfy their greed, bitcoin will only make them frustrated. However, gambling may leave us destitute if we are incapable to manage its risks, but if we gamble on our spare money and on our free time, we will never lose a lot with gambling.

16  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 28, 2023, 02:19:09 PM
If you want to invest in cyptocurrency then I would say you should invest in Bitcoin because there are so many Alta Coins out there besides Bitcoin that are totally unpredictable investing you must take risk if you don't take Yogi you can't recruit. If you can invest in bitcoins for a few years then you will definitely be profitable. And never forget one thing, where there is profit, there is definitely a possibility of loss, you have to invest keeping in mind that.
This is the market where people win and lose.

If you're not used to it, you'd definitely going to experience losses and that's fine because it's part of investing. And for you to grow, you'll have to deal with that hardship and losses because it is an essential of the market.

A good choice when you invest is you're able to have that freedom to choose what you think suits your risk taking. So, if you're that type of investor that likes to see other investments, you also need to be careful with it.
If you have high risk tolerance, then bitcoin would be a perfect investment choice for you. But I suggest, do not only focus on bitcoin but learn to diversify with other investments like gold, stocks and real estate. That way, once you lose from bitcoin, you still have other investments that will bring profits.

However, be reminded that losses are inevitable in any type of investment. Be it bitcoin or altcoins, the risk from losing is always present. But having the right choice of investment and taking investment with caution, the risk to lose might be controlled or reduced.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 28, 2023, 09:24:58 AM
The value of Bitcoin has gradually reached great heights. It has become impossible for a new small investor like me to invest in Bitcoin. I am a very small investor. $2k wealth is mine. Well does Bitcoin provide any opportunity in future that I can invest.
Big and successful investors these days do not instantly invest big time, but started on scratch just like everyone else. Their capital may be small but their motivation is big, so they weren't easily discouraged even with small amount of bitcoin purchases. And this is what I've been trying to integrate in yourself and make you realize that there's no small in an investment, only limited and narrow minded people who's minds are closed to possibilities and opportunities.

My point is don't be disappointed because of the current expensive price for bitcoin. That means bitcoin is highly susceptible to growth and development. Motivate yourself to invest more even with a small capital. Bitcoin does not require its buyers to buy the whole bitcoin, start buying small portions first and let it grow in time.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrencies without investment? on: December 28, 2023, 08:33:22 AM
I'm just a newbie and I don't have other opportunities to make money irl because of my place of living and age. I tried already bounties and airdrops, but I'm not lucky in it. Thanks for your advices!!!
Bounties and airdrops are definitely not the only sources of income you can land in crypto. You can try out some new things in the future, but for now work on your knowledge and experience first so you can be more suitable in whatever job that will be offer for you soon. Don't rush yourself find a job that will give you profits, rank up your position first so you can be more reliable in the future.

You can try participating signature campaigns when you're capable enough to make more interesting and quality posts. Or develop some skills that are related in cryptocurrency and technology so you can easily land a job in the future.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2023, 06:28:19 AM
Murodjon Akhmadaliev is the mandatory for the IBF if I'm not mistaken, and it was him who own the belt before Tapales took it from him. So they can make that storyline of Naoya Inoue vs Murodjon Akhmadaliev next.

IMO, that story line might not be interesting. I'd rather want to see Inoue vs Casimero as these two have been hype even before so they have a chance to attract more viewers. However, if Inoue would choose to fight a mandatory challenger, then there's nothing we can do with that, and for sure the outcome would not be different, Inoue will still end up winning an easy fight, and most likely another KO win for him.

But they are now discussing a Nery fight to be held in Las Vegas as Luis Nery was banned from fighting in Japan. Casimero needs to be impressive on his next fight to lure Inoue to fight him but if his performance is just the same like the last one then expect Inoue to avoid him as Team Inoue will think that Quadro Alas is just after the money.

That's a good new if Inoue would really think of fighting outside Japan. I believe Nery is also a decent opponent, was once a champion and I believe he is better than Tapales. Time for Inoue to bring a championship fight in Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, "am i right?".

Anyway, speaking of Casimero, I think there's no scheduled fight for him, probably his promoter is lazy to find good matches, or he is just in a bad promotion company. I suggest him to come back to MP promotion, so he'll not waste his remaining time in boxing.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 28, 2023, 05:45:52 AM
I put .001BTC down on the Chicago Bulls last night where they Hawks were actually favored by 2.5 points.  Once again my Bulls pull off another win when most people expected them to lose.  It's just crazy how well they've been playing with out Zach Lavine.  I don't think that's why they are winning, but it does make you certainly question whether he should still be on the team or not.

Zach wanted out if I'm not mistaken, so Bulls management should give that to him, trade him and look for another superstar that could blend with DeRozan. It's pretty obvious that DeRozan was the most consistent in this team, so he should remain and will be declared as their leader, just like Luka with the Mavericks.

Bulls have won 6 of their last 10 games, it's a good sign already as they are slowly moving up, which currently in the number 10 spot, they are good to go with the play-in tournament if they'll finish even at this rank.
