3001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 03, 2022, 04:58:36 AM
There is something I would want to understand about people they taught trading is all about just funding their accounts and start the journey the way its.
Why do I brought up this case is that, a friend of mine who have been trading on binary using Demo account to trade for about 2 year, reading all forms of technical books and watching lots of videos online from which he had made an increase started building the account from bonuses given to him he would build time 5 of the initial fake funds and he would be happy to start improvement.

Reaching sometimes, he thought is now a professional who can control the real account, he went ahead and take a loan of $1.5k converting to our local currency then was about 1m. During the lockdown period he took the loan hoping to pay as we got released from the covid-19 but sorry he couldn't make it to trade out same $1.5k instead ended up emptying his account.

So my question is; does those who started trading on binary faces this same issues?
And if yes how much have you lost so far?
How long do you think to learn to be perfect in trading generally both binary options and spot trading or any other trading?

Please share as I almost fall victim of joining him but he lost made me to lost interest.

Most of the people I know who have no experience in trading will most likely say that trading is just buying low and selling high, and they say it is very simple to them and they can easily earn profit from the market. They want to trade because they can make a lot of money, but that doesn't mean that it will be easy. Trading is also a battle of patience and effort, and you need to gain more knowledge about the coin you are trading, whether it's about fundamentals or technical analysis. It will also take a lot of time and practice. I have a lot of friends who have been trading for a year or more, but they are still reading books and practicing their strategies so that their win rate will be higher. Trading sounds easy to learn, but trust me, when you start learning it, if you don't have patience, you will be quitting along the way.
3002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: November 03, 2022, 03:57:06 AM
Many people think that bitcoin should move up in a straight line but this is not how the market works. Markets may show us many up and down before moving up and sadly people are not ready for these movements and sell their bitcoin before it reaches the all time high.

When someone hears that you are earning from bitcoin, they will mostly say that you are earning big and it is very easy to earn from it, but they are wrong. You will go through many stages, trials, and losses to get that profit you are earning now. It is like success in our life; we think the road ahead is just a straight line, but we are wrong; bumpy roads, curvy roads, and dead ends stand for trials. It is also the same in trading. People will say buy low and sell high, but not that easy since you need to know if this is already low or when you can sell.

Medyo talaga malaki laki yung kinita talaga nung 2016 to 2018 ang dami transactions per month talaga .
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: November 02, 2022, 05:31:22 PM
1. Visible team members don't mean they are scam free.

Scammers do all they can to scam others, even if they show their identity, but still, we can't chase them once we get scammed, right? This is the most common we think of when we see the team members on their websites. I remember before that we could easily predict the scam coins, but now you need to be more cautious as others are very promising, but the devs will run all the money. Having their identity revealed to the investors can still cost them (in case it is their real identity and not identity thief) because people will still recognize them whether online or in real life, and everyone is mocking them and searching for them, but still, in the end, we can't get our money back, or it has a slight chance that we can get it back.
3005  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: November 02, 2022, 04:22:48 PM
Straight no! Even when you do trading, there are still days that you can't gain profit. Earning bitcoin can't be done daily; it would take time, and if you are lucky, you can gain huge profits on it; that is the time that it can cover your daily needs for a few months or even years. Earning bitcoin is not like your typical job, that by the end of the day, you are guaranteed you earned money. It will take time and effort from you. Just think that bitcoin is like a business; we are curious if it would be profitable over time or if your strategy is working. Earning money in a short period could lead to more losses of money.
3006  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: November 02, 2022, 02:35:23 PM
Of course, the key to successful remote work is good communication and all team members know what to do, most problems occur because there is no good communication, besides that the head of department must understand the job description and be able to provide solutions if problems occur.
Covid has brought people to a different working environment and that is their home.
And some people are very happy working from home.
But Remote working too needs to have a proper quiet office space in home where one can work in private.

True, Covid has changed many things including the work system, and I'm sure Remotely's work is a trend that will occur in the future, even people don't need to come to the office so they have a lot of time and are not stuck in traffic when on the road.

It changes a lot. Technology is more improved than before, and governments in third-world countries started investing in IT infrastructures and getting new equipment for security. I am also a remote worker (from a Government worker to a freelancer ). Working remotely is great, with no traffic, no need to shower, and I don't need to budget my money for my transportation and food while at work; it could save money. Most of the advantages mentioned by the OP are here though there are some distractions like kids playing; so far, I have any complaints from my setup; now I think it's because I can manage my time well, and I have a small work room just intended for work purposes.
3007  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 02, 2022, 12:51:02 PM
This topic is very subjective because different people have different lifestyles.
There are some who prefers income stability than higher income, but there is a high chance of you losing that job or you might not earn at all.

I'd prefer stability than higher income, so I'd go with salary-based job, but if there is an opportunity to do commission-based jobs aside from the salary-based one then I'd rather do both. Right now, one income source for me isn't enough. I also read a Facebook post that has a caption, and it says, "Use 9-5 to pay bills, use 6 onwards to build your future."

Now if you can be a business owner then you will not fall to these 2 options, and that would be better obviously.

Agree with this. It still depends on the person, and I want to get a salary-based job because I do have a family to feed, I don't have any skills in commissions, and I am not good at sales. Though mostly the point with this is about high income. I do have a relative that is working in a commission-based job, I could say that even though I have a higher salary, he still ends up earning more, but the problem is that when COVID came, that affected him a lot; he had no income at that time. Both have risks, but if you want to play it safe, go for a salary-based job.

3009  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you further your degree from school, or learn a new skill after college? on: November 02, 2022, 09:29:06 AM
It depends, that is what I could say because only some of the time do we need a degree, and not all the time do we need new skills. I belong to a third-world country. I would say that degree is important here because most job here requires a degree from a school, that is why I am having difficulty applying for a job in my own country, now let's go for skills, it is known here that in other countries mostly first world they don't care about your school background or you have a degree (but still its a plus to them if you have it) as long as you possess the skills that they need to improve their company. Let's take an example, let's say a programmer job, you have a degree on it and still stay on old languages (I will not mention what language this is), then couldn't hire you because you don't possess the new language or skills that can compete in today's technology; otherwise, if you have skills on it, you will be getting hired even if you haven't had a degree. Overall I will still say still it depends on the situation and place; if you want to get into government, then go for a degree but if you want to proceed to other stacks like NGOs or private sectors or other companies, then go for skill but still takes a lot of time on you and patience.
3010  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: November 02, 2022, 07:45:53 AM

3011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be patient, don't get discouraged. on: November 02, 2022, 05:16:03 AM

-If it is taking you very long to increase in ranks and you almost feel like it will not be possible anytime soon, don't get discouraged, you will get there.

The problem with this is that some newbies want to get ranked up fast because they want to join signature campaigns. I remember before that this merit system is not yet implemented; a lot of newbies can rank up easily and fast, but the problem is that there are a lot of spam replies on the thread. I like your advice because it can boost their morale about continuing in the forum, but as of now, if you are starting as a newbie, it is very difficult, mostly if you have zero knowledge at all, but you can read a lot of topics here and you can get a lesson from it.
3012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 02, 2022, 02:50:48 AM
Has anyone seen yesterday's match for PGC (PUBG Continental Series)? I saw the first match and SQ (Soniqs) is dominating other teams, but I just remembered from last year's PGC that SQ was performing well in the first few games but afterwards they got annihilated by other teams. There are new rosters for the team and also player swaps between the teams. The venue is in Dubai, and it is very nice (as always, they really spend a lot of money on venues). What are your thoughts on the new team that qualified in PGC? Could they get a winner-take-all chicken dinner? or again, the most experienced one will dominate this series??
3013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 12:43:19 AM
Selection will always depends on people favorite games to bet. But I can say that sportsbetting will give you huge chance of winning because we all need is familiarity with the sports we are betting on. If we know which team is so strong and which is not then we can use this knowledge to bet on which of them have higher advantage. Although this will not guarantee us to win always but familiarity will always matter on this.

Statistically yes, because if you know that this team is stronger than the other, that can be added to your odds of winning, but this still depends on people, as some will say that it takes long to gain profit from it or not huge profits than others, unlike other gambling games where they can interact while betting. The lottery has the lowest odds for me but the highest prize of all, but you will only be relying on your luck to win, you will be betting just small amount of money but a high prize if you win.
3014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎵 What kind of music do you listen when you gamble? 🎶🎧 on: November 01, 2022, 04:43:57 PM
Electronic music is the best; it could add to your adrenaline rush. You can select a gaming track on Spotify, and you can see a playlist about EDM on it; not just for gambling, but I play it every morning to charge myself. We do have our own favorite genre of music; some want calm or chill music, some want to rock, and just like I want electronic music, but all of that music, when heard by those people who like it this, can boost their energy or could be enjoying more while playing games. It is really boring without music when I gamble.
3015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: November 01, 2022, 03:48:23 PM
What amazes me, is that there are still people who believe in faucets. We all know where free cheese is, but still spend time claiming faucets. How much could a faucet bring? Even with 24/7 claiming. A dollar per month or a year? Using multiple accounts for such think is not wise, as VPN cost more. Faucets were profitable maybe only in 2015-2017. In 2022 every faucet is a waste of time. Bonus hunting is different, but still a waste of time. Requirements for bonus are usually hard to achieve and while achieving them, chances of loosing money are higher than during usual gambling imo.
Don't be surprised, there's still a lot of poor people on third world countries who get paid around $2/day after work from 7AM to 5PM, obviously those faucet is very meaningful for them. Since faucet is free and they can withdraw the bonus money if they can complete the requirement, they will try and keep gamble with the faucet until they're very lucky. Usually a casino set a limit withdrawal for bonus money is for $50, with this they can get 1 month payment without need to work from 7AM to 5PM.

Agree with this, I know someone like this, even though it is only a small amount, but it will accumulate over time. The reason why they have a kind of patience for this is that they need money. Most of this is in third-world countries, and their income is very low. People will say it will take time, or the website owner will be happy because there are still people going to faucets and earning from it. You should be amazed that this kind of person has a lot of patience when it comes to this. But for us, faucets in the gambling site are really for testing the features or trying the website and having a grasp before depositing our money.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I play roullete in colombia and won some money today on: November 01, 2022, 02:40:04 PM
I reply to your thread about quitting gambling, and you are still there playing and gambling. Anyways I respect your reason why you are still playing now instead of quitting, or you want attention from us. Still, no matter what, I would say to your thread here that you are again lucky and have a lucky number of betting on. I don't have a lucky number, lol; I mostly have a favorite number, but still, it is not my lucky number; whenever I choose a number, I still can't win, or I pass bad luck when it comes to gambling. Even lottery, I haven't been able to win
3017  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 01, 2022, 01:26:21 PM
Money is hard to get but a lot easy to spend, and this becomes bad if there's no laid out plan of how much one aims to spend. There's a part the op mentioned which is quite true of money; it has the tendency to get you a new friend or a close relative as of course, you're valuable when you have something to offer.

Applying frugality in spending helps to curb unnecessary waste and helps save money as spending unnecessarily would quickly run one into a lifestyle of dependency and debt.

It’s not bad to spend sometimes especially if you know it would be useful to you but in most cases, learn to spend mostly on your budget so you will never be financially broken in the end. Although there are times you get influenced with your friends to spend on luxury things like they do, that’s fine as long as you never adopt it and you stay low key and frugal in all your expenses. That way, you will get to save and earn more especially if you insert doing some good and profitable investments like crypto do.

You can not control your fate. Sometimes we get into situations when we have to think out of our budget. Most people spend their money thinking about a few months ahead of them. They are still broke financially. It is not overspending or carelessness about our money that makes people broke financially. It is a lack of economical knowledge. If you do not know how to manage your money then hire a professional for that. Never keep your money ideal in the bank or in your home. Always reinvest in different assets. That's the way of getting out of the rate race.
I really like the point 1 - where the OP has mentioned dont spend without the plan
If you do a home work before purchase - it will save time - money and energy all

And this hit me hard. I am the consumer who does a grocery without a list and doesn't care if it will go over the budget as I think it is only once a month, and I end up buying irrelevant things. Last month hit us hard since we overspent on things, and we had to borrow money from others which is a very big lesson learned. This month I will practice making a list before going to the store. In addition to your list, spending money on alcoholic drinks and cigarettes could impact your budget; if you can stop or minimize it, that would be better.
3018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: November 01, 2022, 12:10:35 PM
right now i’m in debt for $6k but i want to keep DCA. should i focus more on pay my debt down or investing?

The problem with investing is that there is a win or lose aspect to it, which means if things don't go as planned... You will not only lose money on the investment capital, but also have unrepaid debt which could get you in bad books with the creditors.

My advice is you need a clear mind for best investment decisions which can start with settling your debt, those investments you have going can be put on hold for now.

Agree, but it would be best if you should pay half of your income for your debts. I saw that you want to invest and are very eager to earn money but what I suggest is if you don't want to wait until you have paid off your debt, try to manage your income or earnings, half of it for debt, half of it for investment. Trading, investing, or business has a real risk of losing money; I don't know if you are thinking of the downside that you can lose all your money in an investment and don't have a backup plan. You should always think of both sides and play safe on it.
3019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stupid or Not on: November 01, 2022, 11:19:00 AM
A friend and I were discussing crypto yesterday and he said he always change from one wallet to another every month, he said the highest he have used a crypto wallet is two months, he always transfer all is coins and tokens from a wallet to another new created wallet in a month or two...imagine the stress ..

The best solution would be to create multiple wallets for different purposes. At the same time, you can use one wallet to participate in various airdrops, another to perform tasks in the test network, the third to buy coins at the preliminary round of sales, and so on. You need to change the wallet only if it is compromised.

Prevention is better than cure. I don't know, but how do we know if our wallets are compromised? If we already lost our coin in our wallet? I know OP's idea is very redundant every month, but it is a good idea, but the cons are that you need to make it every month and again keep the key. Your idea was also good, and we should practice it because using the same wallet in all those activities would risk you getting hacked. It is still our fault and not being cautious about why we are getting hacked, so we should be cautious all the time.
3020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: November 01, 2022, 10:22:06 AM
Am I the only one also thinking that if I ever win, they will not give my winnings? I know it's a kind of trust issue, but still, that is mostly coming to my mind when going to the lottery and even to an online gambling website, but still, I continue to bet, lol. From every angle, we see that person would win the case even though the database has been wiped out because the result of it was public no matter what they say. Still, the problem is that if they give some money(the lottery) to the judge(possibly the other side will win) or they will win,  what I am scared of is that due to technical difficulties, the judge will declare that he won the case, but the issue is that the lottery will only give half of the amount.
