3001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Casinos that are blockchain based will have an advantage over those that on: March 26, 2019, 07:47:46 AM
I think the clearest reason is the fair part, I mean we do get to see how it all works and even if they somehow manage to scam users than we are always here to see they do and than react to it. You can do whatever you want as a casino and even casinos with 5% house edge which is super high can still become one of the biggest places in crypto world just because they are legit and not scamming anyone.

The moment you somehow manage to make a bit of money in ways that are not proper people all see it and prove that you are a scam and write here and let it be known everywhere WITH PROOFS and than you are done, everyone starts to withdraw their money and give you negative feedback so nobody would play on your casino. Blockchain makes companies legit or busts, that is why its so much loved.

Utilizing blockchain technology in every game in the casino might really make a big difference to every player, notably their chance in winning the game. And someone already mentioned that if fortunejack saw already the potential of blockchain in the gambling industry, then, what are they waiting for? They can start this blockchain revolution and make every game harmonized by blockchain technology.

Yes, This is the first time to used blockchain service
but sometime real developer can't prove stay for long.
Please give me another chance to prove my currency to you.
Now, website in progress. Thanks.

Your intention might be pure but you are selling your worthless coins for 17 BTC that you bought for only 0.02 BTC

This will go nowhere. But naive users will still buy for the sake of profit? But how can you profit a coin without solid background? And new exchanges keep on offering their services trying to get their market share, if there's any? This is all about money, unless the dev can prove us wrong. And that will be in the near future, once it starts trading. We will know if they can maintain the market for at least a couple of weeks without the sudden decline of price to 1 sat.
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Block Chain going to be the only option for the Gaming industry ? on: March 25, 2019, 10:53:42 PM
Blockchain will be used not only in gambling and a payment gateway, but also it will be used on every branch of life. We have to wait to see what happen finally.
Well, the OP was not asking about blockchain uses but he was asking if blockchain could the only best option gambling gaming industries which I will say yes because in the situation where trust is needed while cheat is totally not acceptable it will get if blockchain was used.
It's already applied to some online crypto casino's and if you will hear out 'crypto casino' there will be a thinking that it's built through blockchain. I'm not against that blockchain will be used in every aspect of our lives.

But yeah, it's different and data inside the blockchain network can't be changed so it's really going to help who will adopt it. Abusers can easily caught out if the technology they run is blockchain. More improvements will be done and it's just getting better.

Integration of blockchain technology in the gambling industry might really help in fighting the rigged systems that are common in casinos. This will ensure higher chances of winning from the gamers' side. And with this enhancement of the gambling system, non gamblers might be attracted to try this industry. Thus, increasing the number of users and so the gambling industry will be a hit. Time will tell how far we are now in achieving this kind of environment in the gambling world. There are already few projects offering the utilization of blockchain technology in their betting platforms. We will know how efficient this system would be.
3004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: March 25, 2019, 09:55:31 PM
This is a pure luck based game, as long as the house edge is present, we can never win.
However, there are gamblers who are really lucky, although most gamblers loses but they can win big and they can enjoy it when they stop on time.
Not a pure luck game my friend. If you Google about what reality of casinos, you would come to know about the hidden facts that will shock you.

I read many articles and I came to know how the machines are engineered in a way designed to make you loose your money. The chance of wining at the casino and in gambling is our probability and random outputs. Occasionally there could be luck rescuing you but the probability of luck rescuing you is never determined.
Being aware into those casino exploits about into their machines but only a few had been bust up and we don't know if most of them do works or having those machines the same
that's why I'm not really trusting too much on playing with it yet it can be rigged up anytime which we do even know that the odds is always against us but something rigged would make
even more worst.

With that being said, playing in a casino should not ever be treated as income-generating hobby. We don't know what is really going on within their system even the reputable ones. So spend money wisely, which means spend what you can afford to lose. So even if the system is rigged or something, you very well know that money is not coming back when you play. No heavy heart afterwards, right?
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: March 25, 2019, 07:27:10 AM
Yes, gambling can make man destitute at any time. Gambling is just for fun only. Gambling is not a way to make money. I know many people play gambling to earn money. But it should not be done at all. Gambling will have to play for fun. Humor pressure can never be taken if you lose in gambling. Remember gambling is just a simple game that is fun to play. Never invest more money in gambling. If you invest a lot more in gambling then you can be destitute.

Thank you

Gambling is not as simple as you think it is. You may think that it should be played just for fun but the reality here is, it's not. There are lots of professional gamblers whos doing gambling for a living.

Gambling is indeed simple, it can be something complicated if you take it as a way to earn money or for living. He knows that the reality is most people gambler for profit but forget their own limit so he is suggesting to use gambling for fun purpose only, it is a good suggestion obviously.

A good suggestion but hard to live by. How many of those gamblers are just for fun only? People will deny their true purpose when it comes to gambling but most of them don't come to casino just for fun. The very reason why most gamblers end up destitute because they forgot that it should be for fun only and not their way of living.

After doing some back reading I think that OP should address all the problems in your site. There's a lot of problems like the wrong spelling, unresponsive and the token sale that is in your gambling site.

These are still waiting to be checked though...

And the deposit page is not yet working? While their wallet is currently under maintenance.

3007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Spreading Fast In The Automotive Industry on: March 24, 2019, 11:26:43 PM
It seems to me that the use of bitcoin in the automotive industry is very cool. Bitcoin is convenient to use for large purchases such as real estate or car. Therefore, I am very pleased with this news.

News like this is very positive especially for crypto users. More demand means increase in bitcoin's price. So that's what we are yearning for. With the acceptance of bitcoin payment of many merchants, shops and dealers will increase also the number of crypto users.
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages and disadvantages of IEOs on: March 24, 2019, 02:16:45 AM
Let me be honest here.
I saw the title, checked the first post to see if it's not a typing error for ICO and then asked my self what the hell is an IEO???

Now, reading this I see a lot of problems with it:

1. Trust
One of the main advantages of IEOs is trust. As the crowdsale is conducted on a cryptocurrency exchange platform the counterparty screens every project that seeks to launch an IEO on its website. Exchanges do this to maintain their good reputation by carefully vetting token issuers.

Yeah, like trusting Bitcoinica, MtGox,  Bitfloor, Cryptisy, CoinEX , Mintpal, Youbin, Coinbin, Cryptorush ,QuadrigaCX, Gatecoin , should I add more? Cause I got a lot more!!!

2. Security

Same as above.

3. Easier for the projects
So, startups launching their IEOs require a lower marketing budget than if they decide to go with an ICO. Moreover, token issuers can take advantage of the exchange’s stable customer base to receive more contributions to their projects.
4. Listing
As token listings are also “in the deal,” it is a natural process that the cryptocurrency exchange where the IEO is conducted lists the coin of the startup after the crowdsale is over.

I read this as easier to fool noobs in buying worthless shitcoins that don't even bother to have a plan.

Just reinventing the ICO concept to try and milk some more money in a bear market and after a period in which 99% of all ICOs have come with nothing at all and 1% is going to follow.

Maybe  this is an upgrade to deceive people, using a known exchange as a new strategy to get money from gullible users. You can't blame the exchange if something goes wrong in the future because they are not liable to someone else's investments. There's always loophole in the system. So couple of years from now, how many of those projects will still be alive and living up to their objectives. I doubt, those projects will implement their overwhelming technology as presented on their whitepapers.
3009  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟CSC Jackpot🌟 💰 CSC Jackpot Is A Blockchain Fair Game Platform 💰 on: March 23, 2019, 10:58:38 PM
I wonder how things will unfold on this site. It says no more free tickets.  Grin OP is nowhere and not reachable. Let's get back after 62 hours and see for ourselves what's going on. Will there be a winner? Will there be complaints from those users who bought tickets?
3010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan completely changes its stance on bitcoin on: March 23, 2019, 10:39:48 AM
Do not be fooled by JP Morgan's public antics, because it is perfectly timed and orchestrated attacks on it's biggest competition. They have crunched the numbers and already saw how Blockchain based technologies can save them millions. The savings will end up in the shareholders pockets, so it is a easy sell for them to pitch this to the board.

It is not uncommon for big companies like this to do a 360 on decisions like this, because they want to mislead their competition with their public statements. A month ago IBM were saying good things about Bitcoin and now they are partnering with Banks to develop their own coin.  Roll Eyes

Bottomline, it is all about money. They can always change their stance on every situation that they are in as long as the company will benefit from it. And yes, they might have became aware that blockchain technology will significantly cut down their operational expenses. So they are just taking advantage of the situation to earn more for the company.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GOOREO][ICO] ERC20: OREO COIN : Decentralized Career Platform! on: March 22, 2019, 10:53:45 PM
I appreciate that you have confirmed listing. These days projects delay listing and you assured me in your ICO. I hope there will be a liquidity

How much they raised from their ICO? I could not access their site as it says the owner banned me? For what reason? At first the loading is so slow, then upon refreshing, it says access denied?
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweden on track to stop using cash by 2023 on: March 22, 2019, 10:04:02 PM
Interesting, I would rather also use digital currencies instead of using paper money. But in this article it wasn´t directly said that Sweden is going to use cryptocurrencies, right?

More than likely, it is their own centralized digital currency. If they will utilized crypto, then the government has no way of controlling it. And they wouldn't permit such situation. But aiming to be cashless society, it means they might also accept the circulation of crypto in their community. Or they may be loose in terms of crypto regulations.
3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 22, 2019, 02:58:21 PM

Instead of locking, teams should just concentrate on other methods such as buy back and loyalty rewards to lessen the chances of price crash.

And also consider the fact that the amount of tokens given to bounty hunters is very small compared to their share. Even if they dump, the price should not be significantly altered by these hunters. The truth is, they are just looking for an excuse for this price drop. If they have valuable product to begin with, there will be price increase instead of this price crash.
3014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 21, 2019, 10:53:09 PM
Well Initial Exchange Offering or IEO is not a new thing, LAtoken already own it since long time. But yeah I think IEO is better than ICO, because we only need to do KYC once for many projects, also the tokens will automatically listed on the exchange that host their IEO.
Because after the crowdsale has already ended and that ico will try to ask exchange site to provide kyc from participants. The only better thing from IEO to give us guarantee if the token will be listed on the exchange site directly dude.

This is the major advantage of a project holding their IEO as the exchange hosting it will turn out to be their major exchange. So you know as investor, that they will be in the exchange soon enough if you want to get back your investments fast. And to add also, since the exchange is staking their name to these projects, it means they really see the potential in these projects and of course they have actual communication with the developers, which means, less likelihood that they will screw even their host exchange, right?
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should stop promoting ICOs who ask huge money for their soft/hardcap! on: March 21, 2019, 10:21:09 PM
Classifying ICOs based on their soft cap and hard cap and Generalizing them as one being better than other is not a bright idea.
The projects and their caps depends on various estimations and goals. The success and failure depends on the projects ethics and dedication.

Every project has different soft and hard cap because they are addressing different natures of business. So it depends on what kind of business they are launching. And yes, it depends on the project's ethics and dedication so we are talking about the development team here. If they have sincere goals no matter how much they raised, they should make both ends meet and find alternatives on how they can realize their platform. They should not stop if they are not able to raise their target funds but find ways on how to address the situation rather than abandoning their project.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: March 20, 2019, 11:21:11 PM
- Can play from any location on earth.
But there's some restrictions if you are living to a non gambling friendly country.
do you mean gambling sites are blocked by the state?
in my opinion, it won't be a problem because we can still use VPN to access gambling sites

That's right. Or maybe, they are afraid that their government will find out sooner or later regarding their gambling activities. But I would go for online gambling as it brings more advantages on my side. Since I am not good with people, I can play at the comfort of my home without anyone bothering me. Aside from the fact that the transfer of the money is very convenient.
3017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: March 20, 2019, 10:02:17 PM
BCH is nothing but a pump and dump coin and forked from BTC, nothing huge difference. On the other hand, ETH was totally something innovative idea for that time. At some point, BCH will no longer be on top 10 even but ETH will be there for sure.

I haven't seen anything solid development for BCH as compared to ETH platform, where they are in continuous improvement of their technology. So I don't think BCH will win on this area. Are BCH developers transparent with their plans? In my opinion, Eth dev team is stronger than BCH, and they have the capability to deliver results as compared to BCH team.
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: Mithril (MITH) to Get Tickets for Ed Sheeran Concert in Taiwan on: March 20, 2019, 09:27:28 AM
I really am fond of Mithril and I am proud of my choice after hearing this news. I also very happy because many of my friends are already going to this concept.

So might now prefer Cryptos. And I agree too a lot of people have started taking Cryptos seriously.

Not really familiar with this coin but I'm happy to know that a certain cryptocurrency is now being recognized in the music industry. I hope the application of this coin will continue and be used in more of Ed Sheeran's concerts and other singers. This will be a very comfortable payment method for crypto users. Might lessen the commission of booking agents here.  Tongue
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Celar binance launchpad IEO on: March 19, 2019, 11:09:55 PM
Those people who managed to buy used scripts, in telegram chat rooms there are a lot of evidence for this, screenshots, video. Some people came from 10 accounts and bought using scripts.
I did not understand how captche was solved with the script. Besides, when the sales was new, 8 people have already joined the sale. I did not understand how this happened in 2-3 seconds.  Huh
It looks like IEO being manipulated by binance itself. I guess, binance has been buying all of its tokens. this doesn't make sense and it looks like IEO is not so unhealthy as independent ico althought there was a lot of scammers in there.

I have encountered another project that did their IEO in binance last month, the Fetch.AI which was sold in less than a minute. So I was wondering, how did they do that? Were all bots in play here? You will think that something was wrong in this picture. Is binance manipulating this kind of sale? Do they have full control on what's going on with this IEO thing. I like the fact that projects in the binance launchpad are really doing great but if you are a small-time player, how can you compete with them? You will start to think that there is a loophole in the system. Are they giving the opportunity to the whales or what? Maybe, somebody from the binance can clear this situation but I doubt they will give a statement on this matter.
3020  Economy / Gambling / Re: SocialBet.io :: Anti-Casino :: 0% Rake & House Edge on: March 19, 2019, 09:56:46 PM
I dont believe in the 0% house edge because all we know that game needs an income. But if it's true it's a great game that I want to try. And I think they only give a very small amount of information about the game. I think old gambler will not go to game like that because they think that it has a hidden information or charge against to gambler or player.

If you deposit and you can't profit from it. House "Casino" will still be able to income...
Maybe they will change it in the future and perhaps it's only for the early stages of their Project.

I think we shall make a lot of changes in SocialBet. But 1 thing will never change. House edge won't have a place in our platform. We hope, that community will donate us as we want to build a better world. Also, soon we shall publish an article with more details about our monetization.
I have never seen anyone in this world donating casino. It sounds very strange too, when I gamble, more likely I'll lose or if I win, I'll withdraw it, is donation new thing? Donation is when someone loses. If you don't think your casino will profit with 0% house edge system, then what is your hope for running of it? When you ask donation it sounds like we just donate and others win/withdraw our donation, we donate for them.
Maybe the 'donate' thing he do mention is about on players money losing out on his casino.lol . 0% house edge is really just temporal and i cant see any gambling site nowadays that do sustain with that situation.
Monetization or making profits is one of the motive of these kind of businesses and no business will just be too concern to build up a better world. lol

Maybe it is only in this launching stage that they are offering such 0% house edge and later on when everybody is playing on their platform, they will change the rules. And you are very right, a gambling platform donating their earnings? Sooner or later we will know what's the real deal here. Maybe they want to start with good image.
