2021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need a piece of advice form experienced traders on: December 10, 2019, 08:38:32 PM
Are you guys looking for the best rates in the market when deciding to buy/sell Bitcoin or you're bond with the certain exchanges where you have an account?
If you do mean on buy/sell btc then i do only hang up with a single exchange rather than on multiple ones yet as mentioned earlier if you do pertain with arbitrage then it isnt really worth the time yet

prices on exchange doesnt really differ that much when it comes to gaps/spread between prices. So its not really worth to try or think of. When it comes to best rates then you should not
stress out yourself to this one.

As others have said, arbitraging is really not advisable considering the fees (trading, withdrawal) involved. If you account those fees, you will come up with very minimal profit if not zero. Unless, you find an altcoin other than bitcoin to trade. Because there are some good finds that the price difference are quite big. But you have to be careful as the trading or withdrawal might take too long because for one, there maybe few traders on that market, so you have to wait for considerable of time to sell your coin and once you got it, withdrawal from that exchange is not instant. So it depends on your priorities. But on my end, I don't think it is advisable to waste your time on this if you don't have enough resources.
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Incorporation, Fintech, Banking, Exchanges on: December 10, 2019, 07:22:15 AM
The Estonian cryptocurrency exchange, ExMarkets, is listing SelfKey’s native utility token KEY! ExMarkets is a digital asset exchange platform powered by a proprietary, state-of-the-art trading engine. More details about the partnership here:

https://selfkey.org/exmarkets-partnership

Good to know about this listing finally this token is start getting more attention by listing on new exchange. This will more liquidity and will get more exposure from new exchanges. No doubt the team is working hard and pushing this project towards a brighter future so good luck and have a great future.

Additional listing may help them increase a lil bit of value in exchanges. But they still have a long way to go to reach their ATH. But be grateful already that unlike most of the projects that are in 1 sat level, this one is trying to survive and increase its value. More updates and development will slowly contribute in gaining its price in exchanges.

Reposco is transforming the way you invest. Backed by blockchain technology, Reposco offers users with streamlined and transparent investment plans. Additionally, users will be able to enjoy weekly dividends. Become a part of the revolution today, register for the Reposco ICO now!

I couldn't see any information of any team members or developers team, even any CEO. For real projects plan is very important and also need strong developers team member. Without team member and real partnership this project can't success.

That's why if they are boasting to have extensive financial expertise, they need to disclose their team members along with their portfolio/profile links to know if what they are claiming is true.

They didn't even make an effort to present their project properly thru their OP. I don't think this will go anywhere.
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 09, 2019, 10:14:54 PM
hi guys
one of my friends want to send me 30000$ bitcoin from america california with easybit bitcoin atm
but he  says you should send 700$ to atm bitcoin wallet to confirm transaction!
is there anything like this in usa ?
also he says i send money to atm and it is pending for your 700$ verification from your distance wallet
he says just in usa atm machins needs this verification
is he lier or not ?

I never tried using a Bitcoin ATM but it looks like scam to me because he should be the one paying the fees if your friend is sending yoj money and no mkre verification needed on your end.

Is he really your friend? You need to ask for proof and why he is ending you a large money using an ATM of Bitcoin does an app or software wallet can do it? Or he is converting the money to BTC and sending it to you?

More than likely, this is scam in the making. Now, it's in crypto. I highly doubt that it is his true friend or he personally knows that person. With that amount of money that he wants to send, why would he ask $700 to cover the fees? Doesn't make sense at all. You will regret if you will send that amount of money because he never will send that huge amount of money.

UPDATE:

Our URL was recently blocked by Facebook stating it went against their community standards. We took measures to appeal this block and yesterday Facebook unblocked our URL.

There are few steps we took which helped us in resolving the issue.

That's funny though. You have Zuck's face in your OP and they blocked you. But anyway, at least it has been resolved already.

On the other note, how's your partnership with P2PB2B? What actually is the service that you are availing from them? Not yet clear to me up until now.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⭐[ICO] Pixby - Where Creativity Is Rewarded 💰 [Private Pre-Sale] on: December 09, 2019, 07:47:03 PM
P2pb2b is a well-known russian scam exchange. They can run away with all the money any time.
Moreover the IEO returns of the exchange won't be impressive. You will be lucky if you could get some part of the fee you paid them.

It's sad to see projects still choose such kind of exchanges, not listening to any warnings and not consulting with experienced agencies.

They still go for that exchange because the listing is cheap and might have been deceived by the fake volume that this exchange is offering. Anyway, in time, we will know if this platform can withstand the competition in this market. By the way, they are not the 1st freelance platform here as they claimed to be. There are bunch of projects that have been launched way way earlier than them.
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]SATT -🔥THE NEW ERA OF ADVERTISING🔥 on: December 09, 2019, 03:57:46 PM
Thank you Trami.
We post regularly on facebook, twitter and telegram.
We have finished the development of the Dapp SaTT, the first oracle that allows the payment of advertising transactions is youtube.
The cryptocurrency market has been heavily impacted by the bull market.
You can check the progress of the project on the website.
We have also developed a decentralized exchange which is in version 0.9 beta ---> https://www.3xchange.io
Follow us on the networks to get last updates!

You are welcome it is normal.
You are doing a great job guys.
So, yes do not hesitate to check their social networks to see the results of the project so far !
And as usual if something is not clear do not hesitate to ask.
what are they doing now ?, Satt has not been in exchange for 1 year, are they still running IEO?
until when do they run it? on the website there is no date they end

They are still working on the dev of the project and still looking for funds for it.
I am sorry but I do not know the date of end.
You will need to ask them on their Telegram or maybe PM geoffreymoya on the forum.

So far the only exchange I know is 3xchange.io which is their Dex

Their ICO actually is very long in the making. Their roadmap however, is not updated based from their website.

From the looks of it, they are not giving the timeline of their ICO period. But the problem with this is, how they can attract potential investors if the investors don't know this time period? And so it is difficult to know, when will they get their investments back. I don't think this approach is doing good on them.

Enjoy the multiple benefits with the low-cost fee for your lighting project!

Our expert team is ready to give you excellent service and cost-effective products for your next project.

Send us your inquiry at info@buyanylight.com
Pre IEO is starting, then what about IEO? Are you planning to do IEO in some famous exchanges? like Kucoin or BInance?
I hope you do not choose P2pb2b, exmarket, vindax, or LAtoken
You are right this p2pb2b, exmarket, vindax, latoken poor exchange and their no have smart investors. In my opinion poor exchange do not give you any good effect about your project, so i want give you suggest like binance, kucoin, gate, hitbtc anyone good.

If they will choose better and more reputable exchange, they should also compliment with faster development. So once the IEO finishes, their token will be valuable in the market and will not suffer the same fate as many projects had - the continuous decline of price in the trading market. They should not entirely rely in IEO for their funds to accomplish something here, otherwise, it will be the same story.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]HDX - The Most Valuable EXCH Token! Digital Asset EXCH Star 2019 on: December 09, 2019, 08:06:15 AM
does anyone know the hydax token has been traded? because I see the bounty is over or maybe the team has a plan to do an ICO before being traded on the market?
At the moment there is not any information regarding this issue and everything is still unclear so I think we will have to be patient for some time. As I know, IEO will take place in December but until now, group is almost silent and there are many big problems happening at this project.

Almost everyone here wants to get the most accurate information but maybe you should wait a little longer.
The thread of this project was devoid of team reports and even in the telegram that I had discussed there was no recent notification. Only people were asking about the bounty and hopefully there was clarity about this because I thought the project was in great demand.

The team should change quick on how they address queries from their potential clients. If this will continue, I don't think it is worth to follow their progress as if you are waiting in vain just to get what's going on. They are just starting their exchange so what more if they are bombarded by successive complaints from their traders? Are they going to address them? Their volume is quite large already, took the BTC/USDT pair and they are already working on millions of dollars. Is this actual value and no wash trading?

I am just wondering why the other founders have very few linkedin connections? Are they legit profiles or just made for this project? Considering that they are experts on their chosen field.

2031  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] GStar.AI is a scam project on: December 08, 2019, 10:42:22 PM
I know this project because I was one of those bounty hunters that joined their sig campaign and did receive their tokens. And yes, tokens without value at all. Never reached in an exchange as long as I remember. I don't know exactly how much they raised but I think they only got small amount of money so they couldn't push thru their development. If they ran away, the money is very small as compared to other abandoned projects that raised millions of dollars.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TWIT] Twit Coin - Tip a Twit for their Tweet ❤️ Social Media Tipping Coin on: December 08, 2019, 09:15:19 PM
Usually the problem of most projects related to social media is the sustainability of the enthusiasm of its users. How long they will patronize the platform? What is there to gain to continuously utilize this project? As new platforms arise in social media, those users may eventually abandon its account and create a new one in the block.
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][PARS] Parsicoin - A Private Untraceable CryptoCurrency on: December 07, 2019, 11:36:07 PM
PARS EXCHANGE NEW LISTINGS : ExclusiveCoin (EXCL), SmartCash(SMART), BitcoinConfidential (BC), LitecoinCash(LCC)are all available on BTC, ETH and USDT Markets.

What are your activities that will increase the volume of your exchange? The trading volume is still low as I understand that you are just starting. But even the common trading pair eth/btc is unfortunately low. Need drastic promotional tasks to increase the number of traders? The btc withdrawal is low as compared to others but how can you trade if there are few to none who are trading in the exchange?
2034  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] YouTrade-Fake team member photos+plagiarized content on: December 07, 2019, 08:17:19 PM
Good find OP

This is one more fake Russian scam, and it has nothing to do with Singapore.

It is pretty obvious and bad scam attempt. I am curious to hear their explanation, unless they just delete Ann and disappear for some time. But i have no doubts that they will come back with yet another scam.

I guess they will soon delete their thread as there is no more content on their OP. They will not explain themselves because they are busted outright.

He bought copper membership for that account and got wasted because of this poor scam attempt. He will soon create a new one and maybe this time around, he will not put the team members but will stay anonymous.
2035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exact reason for the dump on: December 07, 2019, 07:15:14 PM
Reading more theory about the dump might not help you at all, it will only make you confuse as different article might have completely different content and that will stir your mind, everything you read is just so speculative so its hard to judge IMO.

By making it look simple, just look at the future potential of bitcoin and you judge the current situation.
As for me, since I believe that crypto as a whole lead by bitcoin will prosper in the future, I always think positive and when there is an unexpected dump and pump, I always think these are just pure manipulation.

Very right, they can always formulate the reason of the dump but no one can actually identify the root cause of it. Because it is influenced by a lot of factors, no one can really pinpoint a single cause of it. Believing on your instincts and relying on your acquired knowledge are far better than accepting the speculations of those so-called experts.
And for me, yes, bitcoin will continue to soar as adoption is growing stronger in the field of blockchain technology.

2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Money on Chain - Bitcoin-Collateralized Stablecoin on: December 07, 2019, 06:11:08 AM
If this is a stablecoin and pegged to Bitcoin, how many bitcoins will you be holding in collateral and at what rate will the coins be exchangeable for Bitcoin? Where will you keep the bitcoins and who will be controlling it? Where will the bitcoins collateral come from?

Great question but I don't think the team will answer this important question. Actually, it is very easy to answer if they do have that amount of bitcoin as collateral. By the way, USDT project admitted before they don't have that amount of dollars as what it should have been. So it is only a matter of time when will they give the true statement regarding their assets.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cryptocurrency (CCY) Insurance platform for Investors. on: December 07, 2019, 12:36:07 AM
I am curious what kind of insurance license are you going to apply for your platform and where?

I hope you will stick to this plan and will not end up only as placeholder on your roadmap. And since you are anonymous team, are you going to provide the license document once you accomplished this task?

2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 06, 2019, 11:06:01 PM
hello guys,

i'm wondering why so many IEOs on P2PB2B exchange even every IEOs sales happens,

And after IEOs why that coin/Token can't achieve it's IEO price?
in my opinion the cost incurred by P2PB2B is quite cheap there to launch IEO, moreover the trading volume there is quite a lot,
but it is unfortunate that IEO which is run on the exchange is on average a scam, but careful

Are you sure that their trading volume is "quite a lot"? It has been known that they are faking their volumes making them in the top exchange. One thing that I think why there are a lot of IEOs happening on that exchange aside from cheap rate of listing is the fact that they might not be doing their job of investigating those projects if it is legit or not. As long as they are paying, most likely they are getting listed to launch their IEO. However, it shows after the IEO event, most of them drastically decline their value and so wash trading occurs to show that there is some sort of trading activity happening on their platform. Right now, very few are trusting that exchange to trade their coins.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 06, 2019, 03:28:44 PM
Ten years is not enough for bitcoin and altcoins to replace fiat currency. There are many requirements that must be fulfilled before this can happen.

And I don't know where this Deutsche Bank Research made thier prediction. And this reasearch doesn't think about people who are ignorant of bitcoin / altcoins and how these people would accept bitcoin.

I do agree with that. 10 years is quite short to have crypto in the mainstream market. Up until now, crypto users are still very low in number as compared to the global population. And considering that we already celebrated the 10th anniv of bitcoin. Though the adoption is growing fast, yet there are still remote areas that up until now are not influenced by advance technology, so how much more with crypto usage? Fiat would still be the main currency worlwide, ten years from now. Just my thoughts here.
