BTW, we have games tomorrow after that Sunday break.

ROS vs Bolts
Dyip vs Gin Kings

Will the Dyip continue running with their losing streak on?  Grin
Dyip is the new Blackwater right now Cheesy.
Well, if only they will not made some useless trades in the past then they must've created a good team that can compete with other teams right now but.. it is what it is.
The streak continues especially that they are facing the top team Ginebra San Miguel and they will get a playoff spot with their win.

Bolts Vs. ROS. Both are struggling teams right now but ROS is at the bottom with only 1 win compare to Bolts' 3 so maybe I will go with Meralco with this one.

In light of recent events, do we seem to be entering the longest crypto winter in the history industry crypto.?
Why are we basing the next moves of the companies base on mere deletion of tweets only?
These are companies and for sure they will come back again sooner. They just didn't expect what happened maybe that's why they lost funds and there are many companies who lost funds in crypto as well so all of us are lost Cheesy. They aren't bankrupt as of now so there is a chance that they will recover and come back.

With regards to your last question, we might enter the longest crypto winter or we might now but one thing is for sure though, that we are already in a situation where those who has cash left on their hand will be the ones who will get wealth after this bear market. We are in a survival mode for now and even those companies are. Companies going bankrupt, CEX halting withdrawals etc.

3023  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PBA Prediction Tournament [7.5k php in BTC prize pool] on: July 06, 2022, 02:12:12 AM
Meralco Bolts -4.5
Barangay Ginebra Kings -14.5

Good Luck po
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 06, 2022, 02:09:12 AM
For sure they will never try to get durant back as the Nets ask those young guys of Warriors which can help then in future, If they trade them for Durant its like they are risking their future to a injury prone guy and proven that he can't lift a team so its good that they retain their young core and develop more other rookies rather than breaking it and get a problem which they already get rid.

No worries, that's unlikely won't happen. Just imagined how much the Warriors will spend to get Durant to re-sign to them. Not a good idea to get Durant involved in their Championship lineup. It's not that they don't need Durant, but salary-cap wisely, there's no need to spend more for another superstar.

They can use their remaining cap to acquire role players that can improve their second squad.

Lots of good prospects at the free agency that they can target instead of getting Kevin Durant's service that's now entering his post-prime period.
If that's the case, then it's a good decision for the Warriors management.
I mean, I'd rather have some younger and talented players than a player who is almost entering his post-prime period like you said. The Warriors can use Poole and Wiggins for a longer period of time, and they might be the new face of the franchise if the Big 3 will step down on their performance.

Well, I just read that article that the Warriors are interested in getting Durant, but personally I don't want it either, especially with the beef between him and Green in the past. Utilizing their younger players would be better for the Warriors. Developing Kuminga, Moody and their recent draft pick if it fits to the system. Getting role players right now would be better, especially with Payton II leaving the team, they really need another good defender right now. I'm a bit curious on which players will they get, especially a defensive player.
3025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2022, 08:40:28 AM
With the continuous downslide of the Bitcoin and the crypto market at large, is it too soon to say that we might likely be witnessing the end of it all?
Hell NO!!!!
These also happened in the past but Bitcoin is still there. There are many saying that Bitcoin is dead blah blah but it is still here. Just because of institutions making bad decisions that you will say that Bitcoin will end? Maybe it's your first time to see Bitcoin moving like this that's why you are like others who are panicking right now saying that Bitcoin is dead or Bitcoin will end here or any shit that you can say to it.

Bitcoin will stay as long as there are supporters of it and right now, adoption is still increasing despite the bear market. People getting involved into crypto are increasing. Don't say that it will end just because of some news out there.

but something else takes the top spot.
Who will take the top spot if I may ask? Smiley
3026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 05, 2022, 08:10:39 AM
Staking is worth it if you are holding that token for mid to long term but short term, it's not and it would be better if you just trade it than to stake. Staking is worth it depending on different factors.

Right now that we are in a bear market, I'm holding some staking coins and currently they are staked in a wallet that I have control with. Instead of selling it and panicking right now, I'd rather store it and let it grow thru staking rewards. They are my mid to long term holdings anyway so I have no problem with it. Staking has risk depending on the coin that you are holding. If you are holding a coin that has low market cap then it's prone to it getting abandoned as it is relatively new. If you will hold a coin that has a high market cap and existing for a longer time then you are safer.

This site will help you pick a coin you want to stake with: https://www.stakingrewards.com/

It's like the Brooklyn Nets just made an experiment but it failed. So what's next? A question that had been itching for many Brooklyn fans.
Durant wants a trade and I think Kyrie want the same.
They will be left with nothing if it happens or a roster with roleplayers unable to create chemistry or they could just stick with the plan and try the experiment one more time just to see where it will go.
It really is a failed experiment by the Brooklyn Nets but with their superstars, they might get a good trade package for those 2 especially Durant.
Kyrie wants to be in the Lakers and Lebron wanted it as well but the question is who will the Lakers trade just to get him. Durant now want's to go to either Phoenix or Miami but that would be hard because I don't know who will either Phoenix or Miami want to trade just to get Durant.

I just don't know but if Kyrie will go to Lakers, the Warriors might get Durant again (guess only) and they have a good trade package to get Durant with Poole, Wiggins and Wiseman so they an get it if both parties will agree. The future of the Nets now is still unknown but we might see a picture of what they will be doing next season if Kyrie and Durant will be traded and which players will get in exchange for both of them.
3028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Acquires Additional 480 Bitcoins on: July 04, 2022, 06:28:19 AM
MicroStrategy has purchased an additional 480 bitcoins for ~$10.0 million at an average price of ~$20,817 per #bitcoin.
As of 6/28/22 MicroStrategy holds ~129,699 bitcoins  acquired for ~$3.98 billion at an average price of ~$30,664 per bitcoin.

Man trying to DCA with millions.  Grin
That's what businessmen are doing right now and I hope individual investors are doing the same and not the opposite.

Instead of panicking and being feared, it's better to accumulate now that we are in a bear market because everything is at a cheap price Cheesy. Will you only buy when Bitcoin is at $30,000 again? $40,000 again? $50,000 again? We already know that Michael Saylor is a big advocate of Bitcoin and he will try to buy as much Bitcoins as he can now that we are in a once-in-every-four-year opportunity. On the other hand though, with that huge chunk of Bitcoin his company is holding, I'm curious what might happen if the time will come that he will sell it all.
3029  Other / Archival / Re: Are you ready to see Bitcoin at $10 000? on: July 04, 2022, 03:57:54 AM
I'm ready for everything Tongue.
What do I mean by that. Before Bitcoin went down near $20,000, I'm already ready for it and bought some. When Bitcoin goes even lower to maybe $15,000, I'm also ready to accumulate more Bitcoin. I'm ready as well if Bitcoin goes even lower down to $10,000. I would be happy to see it happen but chances of it to happen? Right now it's low.

I also believe in that 4-year cycle so I will not be surprised if Bitcoin will go drop near ~85% TBH. Well, it would be a disaster for other investors if Bitcoin goes lower than $17,000 again Cheesy.
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 04, 2022, 03:28:36 AM
After this experience I believe gambling is for the big bag holders,
~
I disagree.
Gambling is for everyone but winning isn't for everyone Wink. Your chances of winning is higher only if you have more money but with you can still gamble even you only have 1$.

Martingale once again a failed strategy when you don't have big bag of money.
Do you expect a strategy that gives you 100% profit?
Martingale still fails even you have big bag of money so what's the difference? Martingale isn't a strategy that will gives you profit 100%. Just move on if the picture that you posted is yours. Learn from it and don't use martingale anymore because many also loss money by using it.

After this experience I believe gambling is for the big bag holders, if you're in urge of making a win. Very much disappointed, because it is the last few dollars I had as a cryptocurrency holding. If I had more funds I wouldn't have encountered this big loss. Martingale once again a failed strategy when you don't have big bag of money.

You are just a failed gambler.
Too harsh Cheesy.

wow... I confess that I found these negotiations between Minnesota and Jazz very interesting!
I believe, Rudy Gobert will be able to make a excelent duo with KAT  Smiley

Let's see how the team will behave with these negociations that occurred between Jazz and Timberwolves
The first teammates who got $200M+ contracts and they are both bigs.
I wonder how these 2 will fit with each other. Who will make adjustments. Will we see both of them at the court more often. I didn't see any team who has 2 bigs playing most of the time that's why I'm a bit curious on how will the Timberwolves will adjust into it or if they really fit with each other.

....But the argument is, can he get this team at least to the NBA finals? Although Jamal Murray and then Porter Jr was injured, but if both or at least one of them play next season, I'm expecting the Dallas to make a run to the championship.
No if it's just him and some role players.
No again if one of the trio is missing.

Not to devalue the competition in the East but we're talking about the Western Conference here. Each team needs at least three guys to contribute on a consistent basis if they want a higher chance at getting to the Finals.
I agree. We've seen already how much Jokic can carry his team only by himself.
We are now in an era where in order for a team to win, you need at least 2 all-star players. Jokic himself can't carry the team to the Finals and he needs either Murray, Porter or both of them. I just hope that Murray and MPJ will come back this upcoming season so they can help Jokic because with 3 of them being healthy, I believe they can be in the Finals.
3032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators : Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! but... on: June 28, 2022, 07:31:14 AM
The only guys that won are speculators/traders that pumped and dumped and miners, the rest got wiped out ...

It starting to feel that "Bitcoin game" is a scam ...a big ponzi ...
I might agree with the fact that traders got the V but miners? I don't think so because they also got some expenses and maybe there are some miners out there who are losing right now.

I also disagree that Bitcoin is a big ponzi. Care to share some of the proofs or opinions that proves that it is a big ponzi? Or it's because you lost a huge amount of money buying at the peak and now you are spreading some FUDS Tongue.

Don't buy now, I'm telling you people. The market is still likely to go down much further since it's just been the start of this bear market so if I were you, maybe save that money and wait for it or hope for it to go down much further because we know that it's volatile and the possibility for bitcoin's movement is still unpredictable.
You might be right but you might be wrong as well.

It's your own opinion so it's ok but as for me, it doesn't matter if I will buy today or tomorrow or the next week. The fact that we are down by a huge percentage from it's recent peak is already a sign that it's a good time to buy. It might go down like you said yes but there is a thing called Dollar-Cost Averaging. As for me, I don't think that we will go down below $20,000 ever again. The one happened few weeks ago is just an extension of some investors who are panicking when they saw Bitcoin near $20,000 already. Good thing that it bounced up immediately.
3033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 06:53:50 AM
TNT is reporting that John Wall is going to sign a new deal with the Clippers. I hope this means we’ll actually get to see him play. I must admit, the idea of him alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard is pretty intriguing. The Clippers have underperformed expectations  pretty wildly since picking up Kawhi. Maybe this will end up being the piece they need to take it to the next level.
Wall, George and Kawhi. A big 3 who is kinda prone to injuries.
Wall injured, George injured as well, Kawhi also got injured against the Jazz and didn't play for one season.

The Clippers are underperforming this last season because of Kawhi being injured and George as well but with this 3 players in one team and alongside good supporting players like Jackson, Kennard, Zubac, maybe they might be a playoff contender team as long as they are healthy. A good PG in Wall and 2 wingers who are good defenders especially Kawhi. Not expecting too much from them because they are injury-prone but this is a playoff-contender team when they're healthy.
3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying Panda Elon a good move during this bear market? on: June 28, 2022, 03:40:27 AM
tl;dr
I will not buy a meme coin that is associated with Elon Musk or anything that has his name on it. I will not also buy a shitcoin or a memecoin like this one.

I just hope that newbie investors will not try and gamble their money and invest into this meme coin because they are other and better projects out there that is worth investing your money with. Good Luck with the OP I guess but I will not try to invest even a single cent to this shitty project that has a high chance to be a scam project.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 02:49:10 AM
I don't see why any team would want to keep Anthony Davis or acquire him. He is injured and sits out more then half of every season since entering the NBA. The Lakers are just bleeding money keeping his bum ass.
He played well in the Bubble where he got his first championship alongside Lebron.
Next season after that, he got injured until the playoffs and when they needed them the most, he can't contribute thus they lost in the first round.
Just last season, we saw how fragile he is. He didn't play for most of the season and they didn't enter the play-in tournament.

In short, AD is unreliable and very fragile and that's enough for other teams not to acquire him. They don't want to pay $37M next season to a player who is injury prone and a player they can't rely with.

Kyrie has opted into his contract with the Nets. He’s secured his bag, now he needs to find a team to trade for him. By opting in, he ends the Lakers speculation that LeBron will get him to sign for the minimum and then get him his Nike deal back.
He doesn't have any choice TBH. The Laker rumors are just unacceptable for me. I don't also think that Irving will join the Lakers for only $6M at that time. Well, it's good that he opt in because it's his best option IMO. Let's wait for another drama that he will be making on July 1st onwards.
3036  Economy / Reputation / Re: Promoting potential scam site on multiple threads on: June 28, 2022, 02:07:48 AM
It's the same as those users who are making threads in different sections who are asking for things and in the end, they will promote their website.
It's also a newbie account so maybe his intention is to spam that website here in the forum to lure some ignorant and newbie investors.

22.4% per month trading bot? As an investor, it's best to just ignore and don't give your money to them.
3037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to take profit? on: June 28, 2022, 01:56:39 AM
It's subjective because different investors have different target selling price of have different factors that might affect their decisions.

Are you contented with the profits that you got? Did you set your target selling price and reached that already?
Sticking to your plan is the best option when you are taking profit. If you set $100,000 target selling price then whatever happens, sell it. If you set that you will hold for 3 years and you will sell your holdings whatever the price at that time is then do it (but not at a loss Cheesy).
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoins will be launching this summer...Is it worth it? on: June 27, 2022, 08:07:14 AM
~
What do you think about Sweatcoin? Is it worth walking/doing exercise just to get paid coins in return? If not, why? Do you think the project will have a future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I will exercise not because I'm being paid but because I want myself to be healthy and not be prone to health problems.
Sweatcoins have been there for a long time but they became an abandoned project. I tried downloading their shitty app years ago and I didn't expect that they will re-develop their old project again. It's because Move-2-Earn concept is becoming a hype that's why they decided to create it again?

Like @Maus0728 said, as long as we users will not give our personal information to them then I might try to use it but I'm not expecting too much from them. If they will really pay then good but if not then ok. What make me curious is what will be the use of their tokens? I mean in some P2E games, the tokens that we are farming are being used to burn. In Move-2-Earn concept, I don't know what will be the use case of the tokens that we will be getting.
3039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 06:38:05 AM
I've been talking with my friends, and one of them said, LeBron James is probably going to leave the Lakers.

is this really true? I confess that I was surprised with this rumor.

Does anyone confirm this? Is it something real?
Some transfers (not necessarily Lebron) have been confirmed by either player agents or team but consider all trade talks as rumors at this point. You can wait for July 1 when teams can officially start these negotiations. When verifying claims and statements, you can simply track them on nba.com or other sports news channels. It's also where most of us get information.

Agreed. Lakers heavily invested already to James since they destroyed there young blood roster just to acquire James and his oldies friends. I doubt Lebron will go on different since he get what he wants on Lakers and also this is the team which his idol(Kobe) become famous and retired. He is chasing the ghost so I believe he will stay on Lakers for a long time. Maybe he will just demand for a better teammates on this upcoming new season.
Oldies friends Cheesy. But you're right that he used his LeGM power last season and get his old friends and now we've seen what happened to them.
This is just a rumor until there are some trade talks happening but LeBron leaving the Lakers? I don't think so and there might be a chance that he will retire there. LeBron doesn't need to go to another team. What he needs is young and talented players who has potential and some all-star players that can help him win a title again. Well, if this happens to be true then I don't know what will happen to the Lakers TBH.
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: June 27, 2022, 03:54:01 AM
Assuming ETH doesn't go any lower in price, would now be a great time to get in? Or should I wait a little longer? Do you think gas fees will soar back up again after the crypto winter settles? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
I see Ethereum as the 2nd best long term coin to hold aside from Bitcoin so I think anytime would be a good time to buy Ethereum. Well, it's better if investors will buy now that we are in a crypto winter or bear market or whatever people may call to it.

There are no changes or updates in Ethereum for a long time that affects it's gas fee aside from the EIP1559. Ethereum 2.0 might reduce it's gas fees by a little but we might still experience some high gas fees overtime in the future. Gas fees will soar up again for sure as many investors will come back again and invest. Many new projects will come again and develop under different smart contract platforms and that includes Ethereum.
