3021  Economy / Speculation / Re: 50K on the way and I am Still Alive on: April 15, 2021, 04:41:16 PM
There are a lot of people who really underestimate bitcoin in the beginning.

We just have to go back to 2017 bull run and then 2020 lowest low because of the pandemic. And then just one year, the price has growth exponentially to $60k ++ and still growing.

It people can't see the future in bitcoin, then I don't know what graphs and indicators or past historical logs will convince them to invest and look for the future.
(The lowest low happened by December 2018 and in March 2020 prices somehow held not to beat the 2018's low).

You are right that almost 90% of people are still not ready to understand the true potential of bitcoins. I may be understanding only up to 50% because honestly I was not expecting $60 by April month itself but I was expecting $100k by this December and by seeing the rate of current growth, I guess we may test even $400k levels by end of this year.

There are many articles and videos are available to understand potential of bitcoins but people never find time to go through them but they just want quicker profits and then they stay regretting for missing out life changing chances.
3022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price reset on: April 15, 2021, 04:18:17 PM
Bitcoin all the time have a new weekly price reset mechanism which control the direction the price will go  either in a positive or negative directions.
It may be true or not but I just want to know how long you are following these so that you will conclude that every week is following that mechanism so that the direction of market is moving accordingly. I mean just noticing in 1 or 2 weeks will not be enough evidence to say that. You must have at least 20 to 50 such incidents so that you can conclude in more assured way.

I'm saying these because I'm not closely watching like you are mentioning. But there could be many hidden patterns are available in any market and only when we are analyzing in that way, we could notice them. And this is why I'm starting this comment like you may be true or not at the same time.
3023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg predicting BTC reaching $400K in 2021 on: April 15, 2021, 12:33:36 PM
Everyone in the market is crazy bullish right now.  It scares me.  Feels like we're being set up for a maximum pain moment.  I've only seen this sort of momentum a couple times before, so I think mid-term we're still looking at a six figure Bitcoin.  $400K might be pushing it a bit.  No way that's sustainable anytime soon.  The recent price stability below $60K took miners accumulating instead of selling to finally break.  I'm starting to see bubble signs...  I'm still hoping for a best case scenario of another 7 months on this bull run though.
But, I feel it is too early to call for bubble. Practically do not get scared of high prices as bitcoin got demands hence is trading above $60k right now. When are getting into higher price levels without sustaining volume, then you may get scared about immediate fall down. But, bitcoin is being traded on nearly 1000s of exchanges and people from every country is contributing on building this much value for bitcoins; it means bitcoin deserves this value and will continue for another 7 months as well.

After 7 months, probably we may see $400 levels and I agree that price definitely will not sustain like how $20 did in 2017/2018. Still, we are not going to fall 50% in one or two days. Due to high volume, we may see bear market also sustaining for 12 to 15 months to reach the bottom. Nothing scary here as we have seen such patterns more than 2 times.
3024  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin marketcaps might hit $1 Quad. as Coinbase is listed on Nasdaq on: April 15, 2021, 10:49:55 AM
Bitcoin marketcaps might hit $1 quadrillion within next 30 years as Coinbase is listed on Nasdaq. What do you think about it? Should Binance go public in the next?
So, next milestone we need to think about in terms of marketcap is quadrillion? I am not familiar with such numbering system anything beyond trillion. By checking in google, quadrillion is 1015 whereas trillion is 1012.

Okay, I am just wondering what are other assets or stocks which are already enjoying quadrillion marketcap?
I guess none because gold's marketcap is between 10 trillion to 11 trillion and right now bitcoin's is 1.1 trillion. So, you are saying something like reaching out the level of marketcap of total world wealth or at least marketcap of USA dollars. I guess that is something too big to imagine. (Moreover, I am wondering if bitcoins get another 10x leap then it will beat gold in terms of markectcap, not a big milestone?)
3025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little sad story on: April 15, 2021, 07:03:53 AM
Even its a free money, its still sad to lose it and I’d experience this thing before where I also got a free money and used it in my day trading activities.
But, it seems that OP took risk intensively to give leverage trading a try hence I assume for the case of OP, that was not much painful unlike how many of us are feeling right now. I understand this community because when we have come across many such losses then definitely we can feel how much frustrating when losing money in trading.

We can always learn from this experience, we should predict the market more accurately and maybe look for alternatives aside from leveraging
Only when you are gaining experience, you'll become slowly a professional trader. Only for professional traders predicting the market direction accurately will be possible. Until we are becoming up to the state of professionals in trading, probably we must need to face painful losses unless we do not plan up for lower capital and no leverage.
3026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: April 15, 2021, 06:39:09 AM
As practice has shown, those who keep the coin in the long term, those projects that people consider in the long term, in the end, justify this long term perspective. The same is about short-term coins such as Sale and the like. Therefore, first determine your goals, then you can understand what and when to sell.
Only after long term of holding, the price of coins definitely might have moved into next level of range which will be definitely profitable hence that must be the right time to sell. For example, dogecoin was trading around 35 sat until few months back but right now strongly holding above 100 sat (and right now trading above 200 sat), So, we could assume it have moved into next level of price range then it must be the right time to sell to enjoy profits.

Basically, to enjoy such kind of trading pattern and for long-term holding, you must prefer investing only on highly known coins. Otherwise you cannot follow this practice.
3027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 15, 2021, 06:09:09 AM
Has anyone actually had some good experience with (right set up) trading bots?
If so can you recommend any - that would be nice!
Or have you maybe some warnings about scams(which bots definitely not to use, or what to look for in a bot to avoid it beeing a scam)
You sound like you decided to go for making use of trading bots but my humble suggestion to you is, never ever trust any bots for your capital. It will be very much similar to allowing some stranger to handle to your trading account including access to your capital. Because, bots are nothing but set of instructions as per the coders and anything could happen against market volatility.

For OP, if you are new in trading, I highly suggested studying first the basics or cores of trading before using such tools or trading bots to automate your trading.
When we are good at basics of trading then we can easily develop our own strategy which will be much safer to handle our capital in trading environment. Only due to lack of time to find for learning basics of trading, most people are going for bots but ending up with unexpected results.
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 15, 2021, 01:43:19 AM
Aroud my region there is a beauty salon. Crossing that I remember I made an expensive haircut here, because I lost $2000 through gambling while waiting for a haircut. Another one is a hospital where I lost some big amount in the premises. Once lost while waiting for withdrawal from ATM. The biggest and the most remembered is my home where I lost that massive loan amount of about $9500. So, gambling has given me more memories. Cheesy
Mobile gambling might give you some extra benefits like these; but I never associate places with my gambling as I prefer calm environment for my gambling hence I do gamble only on my room and on my desktop. Honestly I never used my mobile for my gambling; I just prefer large screen which might be the another reason why I am hating mobile gambling.

I have 4 GB graphics card and I am using 4k 27 inch monitor which makes me love my gambling environment rather than urging me to gamble anywhere I roam around. I have also lost some big money but all happened at one single place.
3029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 14, 2021, 09:22:49 PM
I think wagering on Bayern to win but PSG to progress would have been a very risky one, sure it happened and that was profitable to anyone who did it, but you are saying like one or two results could apply and that would have been the only chances, any other result and you are losing that bet, a tie would lose it, psg winning would lose it, bayern winning 2-0 would lose it, bayern at 3-2 would have been fine I guess but it would be overtime so maybe they would get it, there are so many things that could have gone wrong.

This is why I think I would avoid a bet like that, of course it is a personal preference thing, everyone can continue to do whatever they want, but at the end of the day I would personally avoid it. Same goes for liverpool as well, I wouldn't really trust that bet, sure liverpool may win and real could still go up, but that is way too risky for me.
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea? on: April 14, 2021, 09:11:30 PM
I have gathered that Mina and eco are two solid projects based on my research and general sentiment and also analyst opinion.

I have never participated in an ICO. I figure this is the best way to get in early.

How would I prepare for this ICO. I hear they sell out quickly. Can someone give me a checklist or gotchas that you wish you knew your first time?
When you are investing after enough due diligence then there will be no point of crosschecking your decisions  with this community. Because different people must be having different opinion but after making investment, you cannot undo yous decisions. Before investing if you would have asked same thing then that would be the different case but after invested, I guess you're probably telling people to copy your decision. I am sorry I might be wrong as well.

Personally I have stopped investing into ICOs because of the lots of bitter experience with the many ICOs and their bounty programs. When some projects were not able to reward its bounty participants then how they are going to keep their promises with investors. So, I stopped contributing in ICOs.
3031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: April 14, 2021, 08:45:10 PM
buying coins with low volume is too risky and maybe between 100 coins only 1 coin will suddenly experience a pump, so it's better to stay in a safe position, I mean keep investing in coins that have large volumes to avoid losing a lot of money
Yes you are right. I'm just wondering why people are considering to invest with low volume coin. Coins will get low volume when it is not attractive enough for the investors and traders. When people are ignoring it will be having very low volume. When other people are ignoring, why should we invest in such coins.

It will be always a better practice to invest only into highly reputed/established the coins like bitcoin because by this way we can be sure about making good profits even in short-term and in long-term there should be definite profits.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xrp will pass ath ? on: April 14, 2021, 07:15:42 PM
Do you believe xrp will pass ath of 3.5$ ?  I am so exciting of this project. May be coinbase again listed
In terms of USD values, definitely XRP will be having new ATH but like most other people here, I'm looking for ATH in terms of BTC value which will be higher than 10k satoshi which you may not be happening in the near future. But who knows, like how dogecoin is getting pumped right now, in similar manner if XRP also getting pumped then we can see new ATH even in BTC value as well.

I guess because of huge BTC price levels, it will not be too hard for most altcoins to beat their previous ATH. But people who are bothering about their returns in terms of BTC value definitely worrying about this scenario.
3033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: April 14, 2021, 05:32:36 PM
When it comes to banning bitcoin, the government can do that, without minding any of the things you have said. Yup, I have seen countries where there are politicians that are investing in Bitcoin but still yet their government banned it. The question should be whether the government banning bitcoin will be able to stop people from being used? The answer to that question is going to be a NO; even if the government decides to ban despite everything you have mentioned, it still won’t stop people from making use of bitcoin, that’s the power of decentralization.

If Bitcoin was centralized, then they will be able to take it down, and I believe they would have done that when it was starting newly. I believe the reason why they didn’t push too hard was because they knew they can’t stop it from being used since it can still be used peer to peer.
3034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 14, 2021, 04:37:39 PM
Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim).
(1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services.
(2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal.
(3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin.
(4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto.
All these things you have said here cannot make the price of bitcoin to drop to a zero, if there is anything that can cause bitcoin to drop to zero then it should be one thing , and that’s when everyone stops making use of bitcoin and also the devs decides to abandon and exchanges stop trading it, that’s the only thing I know that can possibly lead to bitcoin price or value dropping to a zero, but I don’t think such a thing is going to happen, I can’t even imagine it.

The only thing you’re going to be seeing is just this price fluctuation that will be happening all the time. And it is possible that some of the big investors/institutions will sell their assets at some point and cause the market to crash heavily, but still it won’t fall to zero and it stop people from using it.
3035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 04:55:55 AM
I'd say sell some and not all of your gold to invest in bitcoin. It's called diversifying your investment assets. I have not seen anyone who got rich by investing in just one investment option. They all diversify in different options. I think you should do just the same in order to make the most of the bitcoin and gold market.
Yeah, diversifying is highly recommended in order to cover all possible investment opportunities rather than sticking with one and missing all others. This way if you sell your gold for the reason of investing into bitcoins, then I guess you are doing a right step.

For most people, gold must be an one of prominent investment opportunity for decades to centuries as per their family heritage. Those people must think about diversifying their portfolio so that they could fasten their networth as bitcoin is known for higher returns in n short term whereas bitcoin is stable for years (if you skip the recent growth of gold due to pandemic). Moreover bitcoin is nothing but digital gold and you could feel safer even by holding bitcoins like how are doing with gold.
3036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 14, 2021, 04:02:34 AM
based on the history of Bitcoin movement we can learn, every time the Bitcoin price dumps, it will definitely go up even higher. The problem is how patient we can wait for the Bitcoin price to recover
Yes, being patience would be safest strategy to overcome all risks in bitcoin markets.
Only people who are in hurry to make themselves rich are going for day trading and burn their fingers.

Safe strategy for low risk in crypto space is available just due to the design aspects of bitcoin whereas in no other markets, such is not available as all other investments opportunists are always subject to market risks but bitcoin is having limited supply and halving to boost its market on every four year.

Simply being patience enough and making use of every dips to buy more are the few things we must need to follow to maximize the opportunity, we are having in bitcoin markets. When focus on maximizing at safer say the risks are getting eliminated in auto mode.
3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 13, 2021, 07:42:46 PM
Now that DOGE is massively adopted by people in the mainstream world, I'm starting to wonder what the price per coin will be in the future? While you and I know that the odds of Dogecoin reaching astronomical levels in price are very low, anything could happen in this strange and bizarre world of crypto. With Elon Musk in the game, we might be closer to the moon than we've ever imagined. Tongue

What are your predictions for Dogecoin's price in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley
Dogecoin was never a promising to invest, it never was a real coin. The reality is that Elon Musk tweeted about it and it became bigger than it should be. Realize the fact that how it was created was a pure joke and that's it, people used it mockingly, it didn't worth anything at all, and all the people that bought it and used it was doing it for fun and jokes.

After a while some people started to take it seriously when it shouldn't have been and it became to worth a lot more than it should worth and that is why it increased, the intention wasn't to make money with it, the initial intention was to have fun with it, but I guess some traders took it too seriously and it worth something. On top of that Elon tweeted about it and now people think it may worth something. In all seriousness if Elon tweets about it you could make money, but that's about it.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Cardano aiming to solve problems that Ethereum cant' solve? on: April 13, 2021, 07:28:08 PM
With some respect to Cardano, ETH is 200B marketcap coin and the people behind it have much larger funds to hire better developer than the ones in Cardano.

Is not like the developers in cardano are special snowflake geniuses that can invent many new things that other develope rcan build

This is just my point of view. I noob wanting to get get knowledge.

Happy to get explanations how is it that ADA will do great things that ETH cannot do?
Weirdly enough, this is exactly what people are not looking at, and should not look at, and this is exactly why crypto was created, to prevent this. Ethereum doesn't have people behind it, cardano doesn't neither, there is no centralized organization that makes decisions, there teams and foundations that work on them if they want to, but you can work on it as well, then whoever worked on it, puts it in a vote matter of speak by chain and if that is liked it will continue that way, if not then it will be ignored.

How do you think we got into segwit with bitcoin? You think satoshi came in and helped? There was a proposal and we as the users accepted it. So ethereum could fix their problems, cardano could fix their problems, one may while other doesn't, or neither solve their problems, there is nothing that will make them powerful just because of developers.
3039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: April 13, 2021, 06:31:04 PM
Let's do a honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT.

Question - what the future holds for NFT?

In my personal experience, I have received mixed reactions from different type of people on this same question. So I want to know the view of this community.
It is not a shock that we do not end up with anything too radical about this, I knew that people wouldn't be picking excellent view all that much, we all know what this is about and what it can become, so it wasn't really that shocking, however one thing is for sure, people do not see that this will die neither. Most probably outcome is NFT finds a new method to be used inside crypto that would make it actually great and have a good use case.

For example there is a defi in BSC these days, it is a new one, and I am not going to name so that it wouldn't be shilling it, but that project is using NFT to increase the Farm and Pool income, you use their token, buy NFT, and there is chances of getting something either very good, or very bad and many things in between, and if you get something very good you earn more from farming as well and you spend that NFT to increase your income. This allows their token to be burned, their NFT to be burned and basically make that NFT a great way to use it, actually worths money as well.
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: April 13, 2021, 05:48:34 PM
There isn’t anything on the space, nothing, except scam, have you given up or do you still cope and looking for airdrop?

Airdrop participated: 20
Airdrop received to this day: 0
Yes, you heard me, nothing at all, not even one airdrop, that’s how red pilled the space.
I have to say there is a lot of things to consider when we are talking about airdrops, because bounty could be considered an airdrop type of event as well and that matters a lot. For example if there is an airdrop that just gives money away, like "follow us on twitter and join our telegram group and you will make money" that would really not be my thing anymore, I was very interested in that back in the day (not long ago, as recent as October) because I have seen a lot of people who did that, and kept the coins and not sold, and eventually they made a lot of money.

That is what I assumed airdrops will always be, but eventually they became horrible and they became useless, all airdrops I have seen started to worth nearly nothing. That is why I have given up on that, but sometimes there are some bounties that pay you if you work hard, and that still could happen to worth something, still rare but better than free airdrops.
