3021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis and Charting on: November 29, 2022, 01:51:04 PM
So you actually believe that a regular user in the forum with only his/her laptop, and with limited capital can actually out-trade the market bots developed by some of the most experienced traders/smartest math-people in the world? Who also has a larger capital, and who has more access to more market information than plebs like us. Perhaps drawing lines on a chart will not work against that. Cool
By that logic no one should be looking just for TA to make money with trading except few people on the top?
And they would be somehow successful most of the time?

If you are talking about high frequency trading then no, most of the people aren't playing that game against bots, but that's not really something people would be posting to forums any way because even if you would be working with bots their response time would be too low against well funded bots.

And when you talk about low to mid freq trading there's so much room to work with by common laptop. And if you are rich enough you could force confirmations that trigger bots by yourself. In fact i have seen a ton of market action with only reason seems to be to mess with bots.

Common people could be looking for different issues and different charts. There are so many different ways of doing TA and to choose what FA to combine it with it would be impossible to predict everything with some superbot or even with think tank that have more responsibility to their funders and take less risks then common trader.

At the present time, most of the technical analysis indicators do not work, for example, all moving averages have been broken during the past months, and therefore it has become useless to rely on them as points of support and resistance.
Therefore, publishing such analyzes is more waste of effort than benefit.
It's about probability of working and even those probabilities change. When something goes different direction then predicted to, but it had a probability to go against prediction, it doesn't mean predictions doesn't work, people just interpret and simplify it like that. Markets usually follow similar cycles as it's mostly patterns on how humans behave in markets. That is not really exact science, it's just predictions on data we choose to play with.
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FifaMiner.com - The premier BUSD accrual protocol for everyone in Defi on: November 29, 2022, 01:02:11 PM
There are so many obvious red flags with your "infinite money making protocol" that if someone puts any money into this they can only blame themselves of losing that money.

Starting from weirdest red flag where you chose to stole FIFA brand, not even by accidently using that acronym, but you literally took the whole logo that you have no business of using. I mean the fact that you can't even scam right makes me think that you should find something else to do. This is not something you will be good at.

Then there's the fact that in your post history you have several exit scammed projects similar to this (busdhoney, busdbee, Dailyyields, babychick...) You didn't even bother to make new account.

Also, this is not an altcoin, it's a service that scams people.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Coin losing its Value, What will happen to Public Funds on: November 29, 2022, 12:51:53 PM
All exchange coins are scam imo. It doesn’t matter if the issuer is binance or ftx. The idea is always the same. Ripping the exchange users off.

Why do they need these coins anyway? If it is a cheap solution they seek, There are hundreds of alts that are cheap. Doge and LTC are cheap and pretty safe.

The thing is, they need something they can control its supply which means they can pump and dump on you. They can’t do that with these old alts but they can manipulate you with these exchange tokens.
This pump & dump scheme applies to any coin or token that has big enough whales, especially on doge which you mentioned that has one unknown wallet with 28.10% of the coins. So i wouldn't be comparing BNB to that of all coins.

Also, even in LTC 6 addresses own 15.59% of the circulating supply. And may i remind you that time when Charlie Lee (the creator of LTC) dumped everything at the top of the bullrun?

I mean i see what you mean and you have a point with evenly distrubuted supply, but as you compared exchange tokens to these to as alternatives, i just had to point these issues out.
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 28, 2022, 05:28:45 PM
I mean why you're trying to link between UFC and politic? if politic is really happen on UFC, any Russian fighter can't fight in UFC anymore since their country get blacklisted until the problem is already solved. I don't think any fighter will going to be a friendly match no matter how big their friendship is, they will sorry after the match will end, but during match they will be professional and want to beat their opponent.
Now you are jumping conclusions and misreading what i meant. I wasn't talking anything about cancelling fights, you did that. And i merely mentioned the heat between those countries. But i'll explain myself:

As Thomas Mann said "Everything is politics." And obviously when things get heated enough, it affects to Fighters/players motivation. And when you think about professionalism, do you think that fights in other non combat sports let's say in ice hockey are staged, professional or in any way planned? No. Why it would be anything else in MMA? It doesn't matter how professional you plan to look like if you are frustrated enough, especially when you are getting beaten by them.
3025  Other / Off-topic / Re: lending money to people. on: November 28, 2022, 05:08:23 PM
The biggest fear with lending money to someone is getting the money back, and no matter how we decide not to give again after someone we have given before refused to pay back you'll find out that there are still some people that you still give regardless of your strong decision to stop lending money. What are biggest factors you consider before giving to these people? For me, I consider if the person is reliable and someone that keeps to their words, the persons financial status to know if they can actually pay back the money especially when it is a big amount, and I consider our relationship.
I like to lend to my closest friends. Because most of the time i have lent to some distant acquaintances i've never hear about that money again.

But i was wondering if i should lend bitcoin to trusted people in this forum. Only probalem these days is compex taxation and just moving money to other wallets and back could get me in trouble if i couldn't remember that what i have loaned and to whom. So i would have to keep a journal of my transactions for several years after i've lended, which seems like a lot of effort for helping someone. I sometimes wish that we got back to simpler times when no one cared how much bitcoin i had.
3026  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Says He’ll Make His Own Phone If Apple and Google Deplatform Twitter on: November 28, 2022, 10:40:04 AM
Lol, good luck. Would he also make his own operating system riddled with vulnerabilities because it needs to have twitter build in? What next? Own search engine and own internet? And hire even more specialists then he kicked from twitter? And he was complaining of losing money? Imagine when he figures out how much all this will be costing to him if and when the phone flops.

All just because he wanted to brag that he can afford to buy twitter.

Elon Musk is a genius scientifically and he has contributed to the advancement of science. He has developed electric cars and made trips to space achievable.

No and no, he didn't design any cars, real engineers did those, also this is why he avoids to explain anything too technical:
https://twitter.com/capitolhunters/status/1593307541932474368?t=Qfj9sm6I0RZq9vCHAz6B0A&s=19
He doesn't understand enough to do so.
3027  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Moving to Ban Privacy Coins: Report on: November 28, 2022, 10:25:28 AM
But if complying means removing most privacy feature or make it centralized, popularity of those privacy coin would be reduced either way.
By complying i mean removing the element of using anonymity to escape regulations.

I am sure that you know how zero knowledge works. But in case you don't you can literally prove and audit everything without revealing anything important. Keeping everything private while being decentralized, permissionless but auditable

And most criminal probably would ignore the ban while many citizen hesitate to continue holding one of those privacy coins.
And how would that ignoring and holding coins help excatly if you can't turn those coins to fiat money or convert into anything wortwhile without raising flags?

So far this has been possible via money laundering but these new laws that are coming are excatly for preventing that.
You can google RegDeFi if you want to learn more about what i am referring to. I understand the bigger picture but technically speaking most of this upcoming tech goes over my head.
3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask Tracking IP Address on: November 28, 2022, 08:13:40 AM
@dwminer1, I don't understand collecting user's IP and Ethereum addresses can be a problem for users, can you explain this OP? Do they intend to sell our data to other entities? but are IP and Ethereum addresses enough to sell data? I don't think so Roll Eyes. And if it's true that data collection by Consensys is quite dangerous, then yes, the answer is using a VPN, LOL.
More like giving that data to governments as they are most likely complying with regulators. Connecting ip addresses with wallets would make them way less pseudonymous and easier to connect with holders. VPN however makes this effort meaningless so maybe those will get more popular. Not only amongst people who like to torrent their warez and media.

Also the topic is misleading, it's not metamask but Infura.
3029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX collapse: Good or bad for crypto in the long run? on: November 28, 2022, 07:41:44 AM
-cut-
Despite the setbacks, it may be too early to tell crypto is dead for good. The industry still hasn't gone fully mainstream, so there's still time to buy and "hodl" more coins before this happens. Once a vast number of people worldwide are aware of Bitcoin and its variants, market prices will never be as "cheap" as they are right now. Who knows what the future holds for the entire crypto/Blockchain space? Just my thoughts Grin
FTX and sam was talked about morning news talkshow just few days ago in here, and people actually knew what they were talking about in that program

And 22% of the adult population in US owns bitcoin. So when is it mainstream? I mean people don't know too much about cryptos, but they don't know too much about fiat money either if you ask how it works. At least it's not going to be illegal as us won't be jailing 20% of the population.

So far only totalitarian countries have banned it and not totalitarian countries wouldn't want to seem to be in that company by banning it. Also they see that people in oppressive countries can use wallets as a storage so that governments won't be confiscating their wealth.
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 28, 2022, 07:21:41 AM
What do you guys think about fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz for vacant belt title fight?
Early odds are suggesting Ankalaev is a big favorite and I think he can beat Blachowicz in less than five rounds.
There is almost no value in betting on Ankalaev but I don't believe Blachowicz can beat this guy now.
UFC 282 is starting on December 10 and Sportsbet released odds on their website:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/mma/ufc/ufc-282-prochazka-vs-teixeira-2/blachowicz-jan-vs-ankalaev-magomed-63571e41a4a74ff7f0e20a36
He probably can, Błachowicz has more experience but that's because Błachowicz is an old man (39) compared to Ankalaev (30) and even if he have more fights behind him, percetually he has lost way more of them (Błachowicz around 31% while Ankalaev has lost under 6% of his).

I am still cheering for Błachowicz out of principle and as an underdog.

Then there's the fact that Ankalaev is from Russia and Błachowicz from Poland, because relations between those countries are politically heated to say the least, i am guessing that this is not going to be a friendly match.
3031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 28, 2022, 06:04:03 AM
-cut-
I think DK Yoo got a jackpot when Manny accepted the deal to fight him in an exhibition match because many people will look into his profile.  It is also a good advertisement and exposure for his social media channel.
-cut-
This made me think that DK Yoo must be sure to win somehow to advertise his Warfare Combat System.
Because most of the martial arts "influencers" that are teaching their style are all about show and their "superior" technics. They don't do fights like this because if they mess it up, all their showy technics will lose all credibility, which means there's no myth around them anymore.

They must look like they work in real situations (which they most of the time don't) or at least work if you are good enough like teacher should be in order to sell courses.

Defeat would be stunning blow to credibility for someone like DK Yoo. When suddenly his one inch punch sort of miracle and borderline mystical chi-technics won't do anything, their act all falls apart. This isn't the case with most fighters, they are not coming from same background and they look at it as a sport where you can win or lose.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: November 28, 2022, 05:20:51 AM
well, you have a good point on this matter. it depends on the person who is holding the funds. not many people are trusting their capability of holding their keys, this is why some people still store their funds in CEXs. but for those regular crypto users/traders, we need to remind ourselves not to store funds in CEXs for long time. better secure it in our own wallets.
Neither we should trust DEX smart contracts to store them for too long time. As at least when we trust CEXes, they get sued after messing up, You can't sue a faulty hacked smart contract. And what comes to praising decentralization in general, it almost always has centralized elements. Like wrapped btc that just got depegged supposedly because of Almada Research minted it a lot.

3033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter on: November 27, 2022, 11:58:16 PM
I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter and also pays users for free, If Elon Musk pays $1 million per user per day, it would make the world rich quickly, Moreover, it will also provide liquidity to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I didn't support Mark Zuckerberg because he wanted to become the richest person in the world by creating more assets as a stablecoin and because Mark Zuckerberg wasn't even interested in Bitcoin, I refused to give approval to the US and European governments either. If Mark Zuckerberg had created a stablecoin, it would hardly have benefited users.

Is this sarcasm? Why on earth Elon musk gave any stablecoins to users? He was just complaining that no one isn't paying to HIM for using twitter and now you are saying he would just give money away?

But it would be hilarious to watch his stable coin adventure before SEC shut that down and fine him for breaking some law that he didn't think ofm as he was too busy having his own stable coin (for some weird reason).

I mean if he wanted to gift stable coins to users, why not buy $100 million worth of usdt and gift that as it's there ready already.

Giveaway's Topic: https://stakecommunity.com/topic/64819-%F0%9F%A5%87-7000-the-return-of-the-king-vip-slots-week-75-%F0%9F%8E%B0/
I am starting to want to return to slots from sports when i look those multiplier screenshots that have already participated into this.
2000-12500x with $0.2 bets would be nice addon to weekly budget, or even to yearly budget if i am honest. If i wouldn't even need the top price on top of that.

I think best that i ever got from slots was near 500x, i though that was insanely high. I haven't got over 2000x even on demo games so i thought it would be just a theoretical possibility.
Anyway, joining in now, wish me luck.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Casino Games with a Buy-In feature on: November 27, 2022, 11:38:12 PM
-cut-
Just recently, got a decent win playing at DinoPolis by the game provider, Push Gaming. The feature I purchased is worth $47 for a $0.5 bet amount per spin. What I like about their bonus (buy-in) is; users have a chance of locking a certain reel for a better chance of hitting a good win and free spins can be replenished. Yes, the bonus can be triggered 3 times.
-cut-
I have to check that, thanks. I don't use buy-in feature except in demo mode, to see what i would be getting if i was lucky. And when i finally get one, it just feels better when i am getting it for "free".

My favourite game with buy in feature was first one i tried. It was Demi Gods (2) i think, from Spinomenal. Because every time i got it it had different set of rules, and ways to get money. I think there were like "5-8" steps with different kinds of spin setups. Everyone being highly profitable and fun to watch.

There's currently slots challenge in stake so i am going to try out Dinopolis next.
3036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrapped BTC depegged from BTC on: November 27, 2022, 11:03:50 PM
I am not sure if this real question, but obviously because people want to use decentralized exchanged to trade it. People who are asking why anyone should use CEX could be asking you that question instead. It was a way to trade cryptos with different blockchains against each other. There's really no perfect system for doing that, as every way has their own downsides.
There are good points about having it, it's like a gateway for you to trade on different decentralized exchanges and do your strategies there. But looking at what's with it right now, although it's not that really much at all. Still, big things like those collapses came from the little holes that has been probably seen and said before.
I agree that people have way too much trust for wrapped tokens, just like they have on CEX:es. Self custody with native wallets should be the starting point for everyone who enters the crypto scene. However not everyone is that tech-savvy. Many of them struggle even with CEX, but people holding wrapped tokens are important part of crypto growth as they create liquidity in DeFi. Even if you wouldn't like the "IOU" like fundamentals of it, cross-chain liquidity is essential if we are looking any kind of adoption for DeFi
3037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: November 27, 2022, 09:23:44 PM

That is if he caught Benavidez off guard.  Watching Benavidez fight, I saw him well guarded with is hands always up on a difference that covers the whole of his face and part below his chin.  Benavidez is also cautious in approaching his target and in the close quarter he has his one hand on clinch on the neck of his opponent while throwing his free hands.  That position is somehow disadvantageous to Benavidez's opponent.
Well there's that, but my guess is that caleb could take an advantage of Benavidez's confidence. I mean sometimes when Benavidez hits combos it just looks like opponents let him do that. Of course they could be so devastating strikes that opponents are going panic defence mode, but from the outside it just looks some of his like opponents just stand hands up and he gets to beat them as much as he wants.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 27, 2022, 08:46:32 PM
Yep, beginners know nothing, but there's an advantage in that too. Every single one of my friends that came in after me got lucky because they weren't scared or skeptic. They didn't care for fundamentals and invested in a wau that looked random to me. I was rolling my eyes, but they mostly got it right. And they took risks that seemed insane to me. They didn't have traumas from past bear markets so they weren't scared of anything. Some of them cashed out more then me which got me quite bitter.

But i bited my lip and thought that i can learn from this too. I asked them how did they guess and they just said they followed their instict. Which makes sense when you like same things as rest of the newbs, they just saw what someone like them would be interested in. There were no fundamentals involved. They just invested into potential hype.

Most of them got rekt by last 2 bear markets and they somehow lost the touch for it. I used to get tips when they were rolling. Now they are too careful and attached to their bags.

It must have a dog logo.  What can I say, memecoins seem to go up by a lot more than the rest of the market.
-cut-
This made me laugh out loud.
But your list is spot on. I would like to add that it needs to be new token/coin that people haven't yet tweeted about, at least not too much. Preferably with no advertising bounties. Old projects under 10M marketcap have either died or something bad has happened behind the scene. Something that no one is interested in them, so unless you know some inside news about those, you are betting on a dead horse.

Also no price talk on the channel gives a professional touch that makes me think it's already more mature and professional then 90% projects out there.

I live in a country with warmer temperatures and our Winters are not very cold.... so it's not an big issue here. Thank you for posting this, because the Oil & Gas restrictions are definitely going to increase these fatalities.
And with countries that have sometimes very cold winters have better thermal isolation on houses, like in here in finland triple glasses everywhere on windows etc.
We have already very much prepared for winter. There might be some controlled and scheduled blackouts, but nothing we couldn't survive. We know what cold is and how to combat against that.

Country i would be most worried about is Germany, but that's most likely comes to just one winter of high energy bills. As if Russia fails to use winter as an edge and turning point for this war, Putin most likely won't be a problem after next year and even whole Russia could fall apart.
