Thanks Relm9!  Grin
3022  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: May 07, 2013, 01:45:33 AM
I'm new to this groupbuy
just bought shares from oaxaca
The high bidder has backed out.  In this unusual circumstance, I will accept the first posting here at the price of 2.11 as a replacement.

I'll take them 5@2.11 = 10.55

payment send

I'm fine with Bitfunder.
Also a german avalon groupbuy I own shares is listet there

security: they support 2-factor auth
BTC have to be transfered via https://weexchange.co/
its a bit complicated but also a security benefit

Hi!

I can confirm Oaxaca sent me information about you buying his shares. I will make sure to complete the share transfer and update the group documents this evening.

Thanks and welcome to the group.  Smiley
3023  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: May 07, 2013, 01:44:10 AM
BitFunder also has a public asset list, that is a live 24/7 list of what BTC address (provided by users at signup) hold how many shares. This way people always have proof
of how many shares they currently hold.

Can this list be backed up easily in case your site goes down for some reason? Perhaps just saving the website that shows owners on a local disk once a day or something?

This is the only thing I'm worried about really.. I know when GLSBE went down, it made a mess for all the securities on there, and hopefully this could be avoided.
3024  Economy / Auctions / Re: 63.1265 BTC share of CoinHoarder's Avalon Batch 3 Group Buy (3 day auction!) on: May 07, 2013, 01:38:23 AM
I paid but am missing. I didnt announce the payment publicly though
My apologies. I do see a 9.75 BTC payment into Cycloid. Let me confirm with him this is you, and I will update the docs as soon as I hear back from him.
Hey yep thats the exact sum for his payment and i did receive it Smiley

Ok cool, I figured this was his payment, but I wanted to make sure first. I was maybe being overly cautious, but as this is not my auction I wanted to make sure.

I will make sure to do the share transfer and update the group docs tonight.

Thanks!  Smiley

I.e. this coins doesn't exist anymore. So, you should remove NVC from this list, or place it into separate category.

I kind of maybe agree with you.

I'm just mainly posting to say you have the sexiest Coin address list in your signature I've ever seen, I may steal it. Muhaahaha.  Smiley

Except.. I don't have any novacoins..
3028  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: May 06, 2013, 12:30:52 AM
ATTENTION INVESTORS:

The forums seem to be down. I will try to get a hold of Relm9 to see what's up.

In the meantime, I would like to discuss here the possibility of moving the asset management over to BitFunder. If we are to move onto BitFunder, I would like to do so before the Avalons arrive. It would make it much easier to make share transfers and dividend payments for both parties, you and me. It would also allow me to focus more of my time into making sure the Avalons are running 24x7, with as little downtime as possible, and allow me to work on other projects around the Cryptocoin community.

Ukyo said he would waive the 5 BTC listing fee for us (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157930.msg1995819#msg1995819) and personally invited us over. It seems there is only a small fee for share transfers, and dividend payments/withrawls would not have any fees (other than normal Bitcoin network transaction fees I assume.) Learn more about the exchange here: https://bitfunder.com/help

I already have a couple people that have said they wouldn't mind moving on to BitFunder, but I'd like to here from everyone else. Smiley

Thanks,

Ch

I would buy some if the price was less than 2 BTC

3031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBar Didn't Pre-Mine, they were just conveniently ready on: May 05, 2013, 08:27:18 PM
Wow, for a second there, I forgot that it is a forum that I am posting my comment on. I have to give you an LOL for the response - you deserve it!  Smiley

Sometimes the truth hurts... and the truth is that what you posted is your opinion, and we have our own opinion on the matter. Telling us to shut up and quit whining is not going to change anyone's opinion. Just because our opinions differ, it doesn't mean either opinion is right or wrong.

And by the way, I'm not whining. I'm not the least bit interested in Bitbar, it's just another copy cat as far as I'm concerned. I'm just agreeing to the fact that if someone or some people have insider knowledge about a coin launch, and have it configured to start mining the second it is posted in a public forum with a lot of hash power, that is just another form of premining. If you don't like our opinion, I don't have to tell you what you can do... (I imagine you can guess, and it isn't pleasant.)  Cheesy Cheesy Wink
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBar Didn't Pre-Mine, they were just conveniently ready on: May 05, 2013, 08:12:57 PM
I don't understand all of the incessant whining here about the latest alt-coin. If you don't like how a particular alt-coin is released, stick to Litecoin. It's that easy. Really!

Just because a new alt-coin is announces and has miners in sixty seconds doesn't mean that everybody will be jumping on the bandwagon in that time frame. I jumped on BTB two days after announcement and am not complaining and still earning some BTB dust for who knows what reason. Then it's back to Litecoin. It's all a game to me in the end, because no serious fiat money can be made from any of this.

So, either be on here 24/7 looking for announcements or keep your day job and view this as a hobby. Those are pretty much your only two choices.

But, quit the dang whining already and be thankful that there is at least some completion to BTC, fair or unfair.

We're not allowed to express our opinions?

I'm so tired of people saying this lately, how about YOU STFU about telling us to STFU.

This is a public forum and I will damn sure post my opinion whenever I want to.
3033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBar Didn't Pre-Mine, they were just conveniently ready on: May 05, 2013, 08:10:55 PM
new alt coins should be announced they will be released X day. Not doing so is just another form of pre-mining

Agreed
3034  Economy / Auctions / Re: 63.1265 BTC share of CoinHoarder's Avalon Batch 3 Group Buy (3 day auction!) on: May 05, 2013, 07:50:43 PM
For those that have paid, I upgraded the group share transfer list and ownership percentages spreadsheet.

Please let me know what address you would like to receive dividends at, as you can see I left this blank for now.

Also, please make sure you agree with the amount of shares I awarded you, see my post above explaining the math.

Thanks,

Ch

It seems that 4/6 winners have paid Cycloid in full: drlatino999, yolo2222, Ajay, josh4580

Skidel has partially paid (2 BTC), and Superduh has yet to send any funds in.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.  Smiley
3036  Economy / Auctions / Re: 63.1265 BTC share of CoinHoarder's Avalon Batch 3 Group Buy (3 day auction!) on: May 05, 2013, 06:37:17 PM
Yes, please sign up to our forums. That's pretty much all you guys need to do. PM Relm9 for posting privileges.

I am working on the share transfers for everyone that's paid right now and I will post an updated share transfer list and ownership percentages of the entire group here and on our forums also.

Thanks, sorry it took me a while to do this.. busy busy.
3037  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Block Erupter USB on: May 04, 2013, 05:27:33 PM
It is getting somewhat disgusting how greedy ASICMINER is.

I hope their 99999 Th farm catches on fire.

Jeez.. was that too harsh? Oh well..  Lips sealed
3038  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy on: May 04, 2013, 05:05:35 PM
I thought I was posting in the announcement thread, sorry didn't mean to poop on your group buy. My apologies, carry on..
3039  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy on: May 04, 2013, 04:49:04 PM
All ASICMINER products that have been auctioned off thus far have been borderline scams at the prices they're going at. I know.. they were auctions.. but still, 75 BTC for 10Gh.. now 2 BTC for 300Mh (or however fast their chip is).

No thanks. They are just making money from suckers... people that don't understand the economics and the inevitable explosion of difficulty that will come in the next few month.

This is just a novelty IMO. No serious Bitcoin miner should pay these prices.

I'll give you .00000001 BTC per BTB, deal?
