3021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOONG TIME, NO SEE! on: April 19, 2021, 10:12:45 PM
I was ordering BTC and I was astonished to see how fucking high tx fee is: $27.00!!!!!! I was like, did something happened? I remember it used to be like a penny. I see the minimum fee is like $7.00 knowing fully well that it will take forever to get it confirmed. So.. I shit $18 in tx fee and it took like fucking 6 hours.

WTH is going on? Greed?
You looks like one of the early adopter so why not Buy when the price is about a PEnny ? can't you see how much the value of Bitcoin now so why need to question about the fee?

Valuing 60,000$ and you as amazed about the High fee? lol expect that will increase when the price is already High up to the Moon now.
Best to Use altcoins instead of Bitcoin so you won't feel that Highest fee recorded.
Being an early adopter doesnt mean that they shouldnt really be surprised with the fee in spite of having lots of bitcoin but they've get used to into those cent per transaction fee wayback

which when you do make out some transactions as of today they would surely get surprised with the influx of fee and its mentioned above that its based on sats which means

if the price is high then consider the fee amount or value would be high too but nothingless it would really just come back to normal. These are just common days
where fees are up high when there's a bull run or price increase.
3022  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎫 OMG! Lottery is a completely fair blockchain lottery 💴 💵 💴 💵 on: April 19, 2021, 07:58:46 PM
Welcome and congrats to your opening in this forum.

Lottery is famous gambling for Asian people as we know what promises lottery can give.

But the fairness is the most important thing .
Fairness would always matter and if you do look for that one then you can eventually see that on this link https://omg-lottery.com/help/fairplay#general

For lottery popularity then i cant deny its popular but only for physical ones but for online then i highly doubt that one since this forum isnt really
that much fan of checking out blockchain based type of lottery.

Even its fair but majority of gamblers here are way too impatient. Hehehe
3023  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If crypto is banned in my country on: April 19, 2021, 06:58:10 PM
If in future, crypto is completely banned in my country and holding, trading mining become illegal, can I go to some foreign country on the pretext of doing some job and sell my crypto once I landed in foreign land and come back in my country with all the money?
Will that be considered illegal? How can I move my money back to my country?
Can I just say that I did some business in foreign country and this is all the profit?.
Anyone has any better suggestions to dispose off my crypto holdings if such situation arises?

You already have a good option, I would do the same if I am in your shoe, you cannot declare your Cryptocurrency assets because they will confiscate them, better go to other countries where Cryptocurrency is accepted, trade it there, you can then find a legal way to get the cashback to your country, if I am in your shoe I will prefer staying in other country and just come back when my country finally accept Cryptocurrency, it's the best time to trade and invest in Cryptocurrency, something you cannot do if you are in your own country.
I have created this thread to find 'that legal say to tranfer my funds back to my country.
As I already said, moving in foreign country permanently is not an option because I don't want to leave my family back.
Also not sure if I can adjust with local conditions in foreign land.
If someone here has done something similar like selling their crypto in foreign land and come back, please share.
For sure there are people who had made that kind of method but to know that not all are aware of this forum existence and so far i havent read up that someone does have the real experience.

Thinking up that there are lots of various ways where you can cash out those coins without having a problem but as you had mentioned that you do like in one go because of price
then why cant just accept that you would really be pulling out those funds gradually?

When you do sell out those coins and suddenly a big money transferred on your account that would leave out some flags into your banks.
3024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin almost made me rich on: April 19, 2021, 04:42:35 AM
That's a really sad story, @Desmong. Regardless of how bad it might feel, I'll implore you to dust yourself up and get back to the drawing board and resume working to achieve your goal of being a "Big boy" in your country/community because it's never too late to get back what you lost. There's still plenty of opportunities that would've gotten you back what you lost already, you just haven't taken them. Nonetheless, there would be even more opportunities in the near future. I have similar regrets as you but I'm determined to get back to winning ways. As far as there's life, then you can get back what you lost. Just work towards it.

and no more regrets for what you should have done. this will make your head hurts looking back and see your shortcomings. what you need to do is look forward and plan things for your future. because what's in the past is already in the past and you can't do anything anymore with your past. but you can still change your future by what you are doing today.
now, that youve experienced carelessness in terms of handling your coins, you already know what to do next time around. even if we say, right now, it is not that worth much. but who knows, someday some of your coins will be valuable?

OP isnt the only one who had really these kind of regrets on where they do miss out on becoming wealthy because of some unexpected circumstances in life. There are really
situations which cant really be avoided and if we do let our emotions and mindset to be affected with other factors that would really be the reason on missing out those golden opportunities.

When we do look that bitcoin does have potential then better stick to it and hodl no matter what. You wouldnt know on what comes next.

Me too does have lots of missed opportunities specially on altcoin where i can say that i might already be financially free if i do have the chance on cashouting those funds.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 16, 2021, 09:48:10 PM

Anyway, how about let's discusss the Knicks vs Mavericks game, Knicks on a roll. what do you think, are they gonna win against the Mavericks here?

I guess I'm gonna ride my money with the Knicks here, I'll bet on the moneyline as they are the underdog and I think they have a chance since they are in a win streak. I'm getting 3.37 betting on the NYK in https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/usa/nba/dallas-mavericks-new-york-knicks-6059757fc57dd8176dc7a7ae....

Luka did the magic last time, not sure he can do that twice in a row.  Grin

Knicks are undoubtedly good but there's a reason why they are an underdog in this game, one of the main reason is that they are a bad road team. They have a record of 12 wins and 17 loses on the road, so that's probably their problem here but I'm not saying they'll loss in this game as they won a road game against the Pelicans, so let's see.

Well it will depend on what team they are facing and for that match up seems knicks are in trouble but we cannot just point out who will win since still knicks are a good team now but I believe Dallas has the advantage against this match up. But lets see if they can beat the ass of Luka in the road since its a great boost if they win this game.
This wont be an easy game for Knicks but considering they do have 4 win streak then they might able to pull it through but against Mavs? that would be a hard one.

Mav's does have 7-3 in last 10 games even though it hadnt streak out but i do have high hopes that they cant beat up Luka's ass.  Cheesy

Im with Mav's on here.
3026  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Citex Hillarious support ticket on: April 16, 2021, 08:28:15 PM
~snip~

have same problem with xhv with them and cannot withdraw but yes you can trade and its for months now their wallets are off so thats not normal, end up buying a good batch of ARRR that skyrocketed from tradeorge and happy with them
moral of the story dont use CITEx and i would not recommend them to anyone of course

Apparently, there is a problem regarding ARRR's wallet update. And it is not only Citex that has failed to make the necessary update. According to CMC, Graviex has also yet to update ARRR's wallet. But if you are allowed to trade your ARRR on Citex right now even pending the update, then I see no reason why you should worry much about the delayed update. After all, ARRR is not exclusively traded on the mentioned exchanges. You can always move your funds to other sites.

As to the OP, a dying puppy is probably not a compelling reason for the exchange to quickly resolve the wallet problem. And, again, since trading with ARRR is still allowed on Citex, then the complainant could have easily converted his/her ARRR and withdraw the funds.
They wouldnt just make out some exclusions and trying out to make some manual withdrawals just because your puppy is dying.Of course they wouldnt be doing that and will follow
on when the update is already done.

As if it turns out that this is ARRR's wallet update problem which doesnt only affect Citex but other platforms as well. The lesson learned on here is that we shouldnt
really put our funds which are intended for our own daily living and emergencies.

This situations like this would really be putting you into a hard situation.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: April 16, 2021, 06:59:39 PM
that's what a bounty hunter can run into, not getting what he wanted, which is part of it i guess, i have seen lately some good bounties, mostly because the crypto market is getting crazy attention right now and everything is going up, not getting anything for our work is for sure not fair, and we can do nothing about it, except doing research about the projects we're about to promote, and just hope for the best.

Research and participate then wait and hope for the best! really nothing that hunters can do after participating and work with
the team.

Currently threre are many open projects where the token is already listed to exchange, some brings huge value afer
the market hypes up and together with bitcoin and other crypto assets.

Bounty participations needs time to do good research before spending your time working with the team.

Sometimes luck do really needed up aside from those in depth research that you do had made because lots of instances based on experience that everything seems to be legit but still it turns out  to be a scam
in the end.

This is why i already lost up my trust on dealing with projects due to this very reason. It even turns out that those projects looks like to be a scam did able to succeed and been listed on exchangers
aside into those project whom do look good but ending up on a scam.

Its really hard and really a waste of money and time if you have dealt yourself with fakes.
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 15, 2021, 11:49:22 PM

Manny Pacquiao vs. Terence Crawford June 5th confirmation delayed

There is no mention of what's probably the reason for the delay.

But reading the article, looks like they still have lots of things on the table as the statement was; "Some more things need to be signed off". Anyhow, if it's not possible on June 5th then just do their best to make it this year.

On taking the fight outside the US and Crawford’s plans for 2021, he added: “We’re going to try and come back in December or November to try and get two fights this year. “Yeah, I would say it will be on pay-per-view. It’s going to be a high-caliber opponent. It’s probably going to be over there in the Middle East.

Its likely to resumed on this year but lets not put some hopes to that because it can change from time to time.
3029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: April 15, 2021, 10:49:27 PM
Today we are experiencing a virus and that is the coronavirus or the NCov19 that is becoming pandemic immediately in just a single week and today there are a lot of people still going outside even there is a quarantine. The reason why? They need to go outside just to buy foods and things they need and also pay their bills they are prone to the virus also the virus can now be attached to the tangible things like money if they are already infected and touch the money with the virus it is rapidly spreading immediately. And today it is good to introduce the use of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin using online payment because it is more faster and secured they don't need to go outside too to pay other things they need and it is better if we are spreading those information so they can now made online payment and let's stop spreading of virus.
Crypto might able to fit into that criteria but how you do consider into those e-fiat or digital transactions that we've been using for a while now? This had been a typical thing and would be mainly

be used by those people who had been using digital transactions even the pandemic didnt happen and now people will forcefully switch up if transactions would become digital and been required by those
merchants or service.

Crypto could give out that benefits but fiat had already been doing this for a while now but im aint saying that crypto cant be considered.
3030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Percent gains and losses on crypto on: April 15, 2021, 09:50:43 PM
The apps most commonly recommended are BlockFolio and Delta. In both you simply enter your trades, what you bought, how much you paid, etc., and they will keep track of how much profit/loss you have made on each trade and in total.
Yeah, Ledger Live doesn't yet give the tracking functionality but it would be really nice future addition.

But Blockfolio for me works really well, it doesn't matter what wallet you hold your coins in as you can sync Blockfolio to it.

In there you also enter how much you bought each coin for, at what rate etc so you always get an overall view of your portfolio green or red. It is a bit long but it works.
Been using Blockfolio for years even though there some apps which are already available in the market but i dont know on why i do feel comfortable on using blockfolio

even though others does have much more features but this one is really enough and can give out on what you do seek for a tracker.

Also it does have notification which is a really a big help if you are really active on monitoring out on your ports.
3031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest competitive eSports? Do you ever place eSport bets? on: April 15, 2021, 07:44:11 PM
Nothing beats out Dota 2 when we do talk about prizepool on tournaments which does signify on how well known this game and next with Fortnite and LOL.
These numbers might be not updated https://www.esportsearnings.com/tournaments but it does shows on how great these games are.

On the question if i do ever placed on sports bet? Then yes it is, ive been putting bets specially on Dota2 International or when this event happens or do see some
good opportunity to place bets.

Been doing that even crypto sportsbook werent still available.
3032  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 14, 2021, 11:49:06 PM
Where it will stop it is not sure but if we think about current price of bitcoin in the market, within some days bitcoin may cross the land mark of $100k. Price isn't suitable for us to buy but after some days, it will tough to buy a little amount. So we should enter the market right now.

No clear sign about the bear since even if certain bearish market hit btc easily recover so maybe let's assume that we can see more btc bullish market until the end of this month, but let see what performance could possibly bring up on next month since hopefully we can see it more aggressively pumping the same these days.
Already anticipating for some bearish trend on next months to come, its a bit unusual for this run to be that long or shall we say that it isnt something similar back in the past.

For now im waiting up for that moment but it seems that the market is way too positive for me to wait up for possible dip or hard correction. Bitcoin is playing around 58k and 63k.

We dont know if we would eventually break 65k until goes to 70k which would really be that possible for this year if the said movement would continue in gradual phase.
3033  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: April 14, 2021, 09:32:27 PM
Hi folks!  Just an update from our end (thanks Mahdi for pinging us Smiley).  We've been hard at work implementing the next phase of Futuur, which will include several major updates, including the ability to bet using multiple crypto tokens.  Our goal is to reduce as much friction as possible, and offer low and no-fee options for deposits and withdrawals.  This list has not been finalized, but currently we are considering offering these tokens:

Binance Coin (Mainnet)
Bitcoin
Bitcoin Cash
Dogecoin
Ether
Litecoin
Tron

Binance USD (BC Chain)
Tether USD (BC Chain)
Celo Dollar
USDC

What do you guys think?  Do you have suggestions for other coins we should accept?
Yes, these coins are enough but it would be great if you do add up Dash,Bcash,Zec on the list but honestly that list is already enough to fill out on what the community been asking or requesting.

Good job futuur on listening out on what are the preference of the community specially now that btc fees are rising which it would be a big hindrance on making out some transaction.

Having these alternatives would really be a great add up and could really result into more users since they do have lots of options to take.
3034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's the easiest to trade when you aren't trading on: April 14, 2021, 07:56:58 PM
It sounds curious, yeah? But that's what I have been doing for years. I just hold my money in my wallet and rarely touch it. Once I was doing day trading but it was affecting me in a bad way, I wasn't sleeping, was always checking prices, was making bad decisions. You can easily earn and easily loss money in day trading, so this is what I did:
I was looking for prices very rarely, would wait and wait until there was serious corrections. For example, years ago after ATH 20K, price went down to 3K. I thought that was the great moment to buy btc and glad I did it. Then I didn't give a shit to whether it become 4K, 6K or etc, yeah it was double profit but still, I believed it would rise and whuola, it reached 14K after some times. I was thinking that it would reach all-time high but sold at 14K, then quite trading for months and only bought at 9K and waited for the halving period, glad I did that.

And recently, you know bitcoin become 40K, then 30K, yeah, I waited until 60K and sold all of my coins today Smiley Will price rise? Maybe but I'll wait for another great dip, at least for 70% fall. So, today is the end of my journey for a while.

Trade rarely, don't make it your only profit source and don't trade often. If you aren't whale, you can't impact the price, so, not your game - not your rules Smiley
Sounds great that you are really making off profits on  the way  that you do deal with the market but we know that not all does have that kind of patience when it comes to trading.

Majority will really be just doing active trading instead of holding and waiting for too long.Yes, the risk is way higher since you are playing with the waves but the amount of profit

that you can possible generate is more than on the amount that you had gained on holding for some time because basing on what you had elaborated then
its a long term process and not all could deal with that.
3035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 13, 2021, 11:46:05 PM
Are you aware of the risk? If not then better check or look back because crypto investment isnt something that you can give out 100% trust.

If you are aware then its good but i dont see for it to be ideal on putting 100% of your life savings with it.Banks might have disadvantage but we cant deny

that we had been dealing up with this thing since from the start and the experience is great even though centralization is on a certain extent.
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 13, 2021, 10:50:05 PM
This has been talked before, bitcointalk is not the biggest place in crypto to get or find customers. In fact telegram is growing to be the bigger one and I imagine there are way too many telegram community managers than bitcointalk signature or bounty managers, because everyone can grow bigger there with some hard work, whereas it is limited here.
I disagree. Bitcointalk is definitely one of the best places to find the crypto gambling crowd in hordes. So many gambling sites rose in popularity over the years thanks to advertising their site in different ways here in this forum.

On the other hand, Telegram is also helpful in finding customers, but there are far more scammers in Telegram when compared to Bitcointalk. This is why I feel that this forum is a better when compared to Telegram in this aspect.
When it comes to crypto traffic then theres no doubt that this place is the most important one for a company to focus on when it comes to marketing since they are accepting or building out a
business focuses on crypto then its just right for them to consider on having some exposure on this place rather than on focusing into other mediums.

If they do have some more budget then targetting other platform isnt a bad thing as long it does expose projects existence or relevance then that would really count.

The beauty of this forum is on when you do ask out some query on where you do get real-time responses based up on real experience.
3037  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC reached ATH 62K - are we on another milestone, 100K? on: April 13, 2021, 09:50:24 PM

Of course, it is a new milestone. One of the biggest resistance has been breached and the momentum will force the price of bitcoin to enter $70000 zone.

$100000 is absolutely possible but it might take time so always remember to be patient. I think that there will be no more big correction until we reach at least $68000 or above. Bitcoin holders have already accumulated a big number of bitcoin during previous corrections.

My first analysis told me that bitcoin will have a rapid drop when it was around $61000 but it fell only for $3000.
We cant still have that kind of confidence because i do always have the doubt that there would be some sell off on that $70k price level on where those big institutions or investors might be cashing
or securing out their profit on that area.No one really knows.

Majority had been making some entrance on 50k levels and some had been just as early on those $20k price ATH point where considering to put up funds into this market.

For now i have made out some profits when i do make some purchase on $59k and sold out on $62.5k which isnt a bad deal for a short term price action trade.
3038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 13, 2021, 08:49:03 PM
This is the worst that you can do to yourself gambling without a job to support you, ~snip~
Indeed it's bad behavior to gamble without having any certain jobs in real life, in fact lots of people out there still gamble with such condition either through traditional gambling or online gambling. What's make OP's case worse is he was gamble with borrowed money, doesn't have any certain jobs, and I can say he has huge enough debts in the first place.
Its really a suicidal act when you dont have a job and making gambling as a source of income? I dont know on why some people do have this kind of mindset?

You dont know that you cant rely into something or no source of income for you to sustain even up with your own living and now you do deal with gambling?

You would really realize things when everything starts to give out results.People should really stop on doing that if they dont like to suffer.
3039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 13, 2021, 07:58:03 PM

So my question is: Is there such thing like low risks strategies? If yes, what could be an example of that?

Thank you!
Low risk? I would say that buy bitcoin and accumulate while you still can.You had mentioned about 2 or 3 trades per week which does indicate on being a swing trader.I dont see those investment

or trades on IEO's which mostly those project value do drop once gets listed or been started to be traded on a particular exchange. This isnt low risk but rather high.

Even simply holding bitcoin does have big risk because we dont know on whats ahead but basing off into its potential then we are somewhat that  confident unto its capacities.
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: April 12, 2021, 11:47:10 PM
I recently came across a binance smart chain forum called bsctalkforum https://bsctalkforum.com/forum/. For sure, they took this idea of domain name from bitcointalk. I wonder if in future they make develop a forum which is of the same level and popularity as bitcointalk  Huh

If that forum offered the same things what we have here then, that forum is look like this one, maybe the difference is the number of users or members who are actively using the forum, because bitcointalk.org is  popular that why I concluded that many people use it, than the forum you're minsioned above.
Seeing on the software been used then  its not really the same on having SMF forum like bitcointalk but when you do look on the link given above then its really way too generic and we have seen lots of similar forums in the past where it had been introduced into this forum but it turns out that people cant just support those new place.

They are much prefer on using the originally created and handled by satoshi itself which there's no doubt that this place will be getting the main support of the community.

Its imcomparrable.Im aint saying that they dont have any chance to be same popular as this but talking with the odds then its really on near impossible.
