In some cases I think people are going out because they can’t afford to stay home and face hunger, since they are not getting the support they need from the government they have got to go out and look for a way to support themselves.

Although I don’t really think we should blame the government in cases like this, because I don’t have any idea if they can take care of everyone. And apart from that the government still have to stop some of the restrictions to be able to save the economy. this is a big thing to us but not to those people that are not involved on here  . aside btc , other digital payments are growing  . if btc is illegal , those other digital payment are legal  . those can help people to transact online   .  not only buying , sending money but donations are now also being asked online  . digital payments are way too helpful   . there are things that people want to keep private too like when donating  , what if you only want to donate small amount   . this is why we still need cryptos

I see the worth of bitcoin as of this days especially when the virus has started in our country, bitcoin becomes so useful because my father lost his job so I am thankful because I can still make money with the use of bitcoin which I used to sustain the needs of my family and myself also. So far, strict rule still apply in my country regarding the prohibition of using cryptocurrency as a mean of payment. There are no shopping center in my country that are allowed to accept bitcoin as a means of payment because it would violate existing regulation. Without cryptocurrency, we still have other online payment alternatives that are allowed if we are too afraid to use paper money because of viruses.

Although my country prohibit the use of crypto as a mean of payment, we are not prohibited from trading it. We all have to convert crypto to fiat if we want to spend it without restriction and maybe that is the solution at hand. For me, there is no need to force myself to use crypto as a mean of payment if it is prohibited by law. To prevent transmission of the virus, currently most state apparatus, government officials and the public have received vaccine. Although we can't prevent it 100%, vaccine have helped a lot in reducing the incidence of infection.

Well we already known about that but we think government should think like you. Because without government permission none a single business man or a shop can accept bitcoin as a payment. If they start doing this they will be in jail under an hour. So if government think like you and gives permission then they will definitely accept bitcoin. But government already has a alternative option which is mobile payment option like paypal. That's why government didn't think about physical cash alternative. I think this is it. What do you think?

It is a good idea, but not every country can do this. As one of the examples is in my country. Cryptocurrency is legal as a commodity for digital assets. But it is forbidden to be used as a currency because there is fiat regulated by the government here. So we cannot use crypto for any payment.
And there are also no merchants that accept crypto as payment, additionally, we are here living traditionally.

Right, it is not particularly a time for cryptocurrencies, but just for digital transactions. Why use volatile Bitcoin if there also was a central bank digital currency (CBDC)? The reasons for cryptocurrencies to thrive go way beyond digital transactions.

In how far Bitcoin may play a role during this pandemic, I don't know. If you look at developing countries, Bitcoin sucks right now because there are also these tremendous fees. It will take some time until Bitcoin finds its right use case and its right place.

Yes it is very useful despite the pandemic because of it being convenient, people even have already practiced on paying their bills and doing groceries with using QR codes and hopefully will be accepting cryptocurrencies in the near future. People are slowly adapting the digital transactions but have not tried using cryptocurrencies although there are some who accepts Bitcoin, but it’s like 1% only accepts it for now.

cryptocurrency can be a great payment alternative to reduce the spread of viruses, there is no direct contact, there are no time and space restrictions. as you explained, not all countries allow the use of bitcoin as a means of payment, so its use really depends on the policies in each country.
After all, this is still an early stage, not many people are familiar with crypto, people might find it easier and understand about e-money. and so far it has been quite effective at reducing direct contact.
